Wage theft and abusive work environment
The manager of the front store at the store where I work has little respect for people, their downtime, or their private lives. Simply put, the scheduling is atrocious. The new weekly schedule is only announced with a day's notice, giving you little opportunity to make plans for your life outside of work. Hours will be reduced by her without warning. She...

Im so tired of buying products base on their specific points system. Been told that i need to email them when im in store. To find out my request is declined for reasons i couldn't have known. When the self checkout says 66$! How can they tell me my total
Was 56$! I dont understand at all.
How is this practise continue with such bad customer support.
Desired outcome: I want my points.
Security guard
The security guard that stands at the door, constantly checks his car, I’m here daily for meds. His car is always parked right by the door and customers are having to walk further and park further away, because he parks where customers should be parked. I’ve complained to the manager of shoppers but doesn’t do and say anything, it’s no fair to customers that have a hard time walking, so he can watch his car by the window where he stands, he’s also very rude, he don’t say anything except give rude stares. And he’s not only scary looking, I only see him watching his car, Other staff of shoppers drug mart I see park on the street, and he’s the only one parked at the front doors,
I manage a bakery and I tell all my staff to park on the street, so customers don’t have too. It should be like that with every business, and it is except for shoppers drug mart, I will screen shot this complaint and share it all on social media just to show what complaints board.com does.. NOTHING! This is the 3 rd complaint I made of this employee parking where customers park….
Desired outcome: Make the employee park on the street so customers can park at the front of the store
Medication
Giving medine not covered by ohip, it should have been told to
The costumer before changing the prescription, when i asked for the prescription back, they don’t give back to me instead they asked me to tell the pharmacy where i will find the ohip covered to call them. Some kinds of wasting time and give customer hard time to go from place to place. Poor customer service.
Desired outcome: Address the customer if you dont have stock and need to pay
Pharmacy service
On July 13 at approximately 5:30pm I went into Shoppers Drug Mart at 1400 Ottawa Street south in Kitchener to pick up a prescription. I received a text from this location on July 10th to inform me that it was ready. I had been waiting for this particular medication for a few months as it was back ordered. While I was waiting for it they did supply me with a...

Dear Sir/Madam
My name is Vivi Mina and I am a registered pharmacist in Ontario since 2018 and in British Columbia since 2022.
I am writing this letter to express my frustration and disappointment regarding the incident that took place on July 13,2023 at the store located at 5353 Lakeshore Rd., Burlington The associate "Heba Salama" did not accept to have me as a volunteer at the store, Which I requested for 2 or 3 hours for only one day. I got many requests to cover a couple of shifts at Shoppers as a Relief Pharmacist but I just thought it would be a good idea to take a look at the system before I took on the responsibility to work there. I mastered all the other softwares (Filware (paper and paperless), Kroll (paper and paperless) , Nexxsys & propel) . So it will take me a couple of hours to learn Healthwatch software because I am smart and fast learning, I mentioned to her that I do not need any help from anyone to teach me anything. I only wanted to observe and I will learn on my own. So I would not be distracting anyone.
I totally understand that accepting volunteers is not an obligation, but also accepting her decision is not an obligation either, As I felt disappointed from the reason of refusal which did not make sense to me as she said that the store is busy and they do not want volunteers.
This excuse is not viable and contradictory. If the store is busy that means they need more professional reliable help. But since volunteering is not an obligation but a courtesy especially that I just mentioned, I wanted to volunteer for only 2 or 3 hours for one day nothing more so it will not affect how busy the store is.
I received a call from her and instead of being understanding or explaining the reason for refusal, she talked to me using a very inappropriate and aggressive tone. She said that taking picture of her name on board is illegal which doesn’t make sense because there is no expectations of privacy in public places as I didn’t breach anyone’s privacy by taking a picture of a subject published at the store for everyone attention (picture is attached). I didn’t understand why she made a big deal out of nothing and she was misleading me by providing wrong info about what’s legal and what’s illegal. I took a picture of her name because I didn’t have a piece of paper and a pen handy to write on her name. She was arrogant while threatening me that she won't allow me to be at any Shoppers Drug Mart which gave me the impression that she has the right to punish me for not appreciating her decision and she kept saying that volunteering is not an obligation and it's her decision to do so. Is she the decision maker for all other Ontario stores too? just wondering.
I don't have a single explanation for her attitude but a discrimination and disrespect to her colleagues. So that incident made me change my mind about the whole idea. I don't want to be treated that way again as I expect that Shoppers is so selective when it comes to people who represent the corporation. I would rather have my experience and professionalism appreciated somewhere else But I thought it may be a good idea to draw your attention to such inappropriate behavior. Your feedback is definitely appreciated and expected
Thank you for time reading this email.
Yours Sincerely,
Vivi Mina.

67 year old Veteran with 27 broken bones, titanium hardware, short circuit heart survivor, colorectal cancer survivor, 16 year and more. I was expecting a Military Decoration and received notice for pickup next day anytime after 1300 hrs. When I got the person just booked off for lunch and NO replacement and others complained as well. The manager came and she had ZERO compassion, empathy or other, just COLD! You'll have to wait and hour. I took a cab from the far corner of the city and my leg was about 29 out of 10 in pain, I was hobbling pretty bad. When 7/11 had the postal outlet this was NEVER EVER an issue! I started this trip before 1 pm and never got home until 10 after 3 in the afternoon. I was so sore and exhausted I crashed for 2 1/2 hours or so. What if it was an even older frail man or woman or someone with even more severe disabilities? And yes, it was my military decoration/ medal.
Desired outcome: Manager demoted or Canada Post removes their postal outlet.
Pharmacy staff
The last couple of years I have been having stomach problems. I have been vomiting without warning for no reason. I have had multiple tests with various doctors and nothing shows up. On my last visit the Doctor had asked me why I went off the Testosterone. I told him the pharmacy had given me enough for about 6 months and said that it was discontinued. I...

My Dr faxed over a prescription at 9:30 Am Friday July 7,2023 by 6:30 Pm I had not heard from pharmacy so my husband went over and they claimed my prescription was not covered by my plan but did not give him the price of the prescription but instead gave him a bottle of a injectable product(i have no experience with that product so he returned it and they gave him another OTC product not what my Dr prescribed.I then called them and asked what the price was on prescription they quoted me a price that was less then the OTC item I then requested that they fill the prescription my Dr had faxed over.10 minutes later they call me quite upset saying its not covered on my drug plan and i said to please fill the prescription my Dr faxed over. When i went to pick up prescription again i was met with this is wrong you must get OTC...So my question is...why should I pay more for a OTC medicine instead of the cost of a prescribed one from a certified doctor? And what gave that pharmacy staff the right to decide for me what I was going to purchase? They did not inform me during the hours of 9:30 Am and 6:30 PM that there would be a cost and let me decide what I was going to take? Since when are they doctors and isnt the job to fill prescriptions? I am considering leaving shoppers and seeking another pharmacy that will do the job they are hired for and thats to fill prescriptions...you were already making money off of me by my original prescription not being covered and then you wanted even more money off me first for an injectable that makes no sense and then an OTC.Your company makes billions of dollars every year yet the greed in your company wanted to make more off a disabled woman on ODSP. Im ashamed of your store and will be making calls to seek out another pharmacy for my needs as this pharmacy does not offer that type of service.
Internet Advertising Video
Hey! Keep your ads free of politics! E.g. don't try and convert your customers to 'woke' agendas re. e.g. sexual expression education for children, or other politically fragile polemics. You guys are a drug store, there to help us customers... Stay away from trying to change my families values, or anyone's family or personal values, whether conservative or radical progressive left. Leave the kids and us alone re Trans. surgery, makeup, hormones etc. Also, re abortion laws, gun control, etc. Stay away from it. DO YOUR JOB!
The ad in question, I saw on Youtube while watching an item on bowling... was of a very masculine hairy bearded man, contorting his face like a woman while putting on all sorts of feminine Shoppers Drug Mart make up. If someone wants to do that fine, but don't be promoting it and 'shoving it in peoples faces'.
I've been a steady Shoppers Drug Mart customer for decades. I'd like to remain one. Like with the Bud Light boycott, we have had enough of corporate left wing government colusion and propoganda. I'm being polite.
Desired outcome: I'd like a response from Senior management. What were they thinking!!!!!
Sold me fake airpods at 360A Bloor St W Toronto Location
I purchased a 2nd generation AirPods Pro at the 360 Bloor St W location in Toronto on the 7th of June using 200k pts+$108. The unsealed box at the time of purchase made me uneasy, but the cashier assured me it was normal. I had the manager sign my receipt for reassurance. However, after 2 weeks, I noticed sound and connection issues. Apple confirmed that...

The pharmacy is neglect in reviewing prescriptions which led to a significant medication error for almost 2 months. When it was discovered they were incredibly ignorant about it, blamed me and said the directions are written right on the bottle. The pharmacist I spoke with may or may not have been the same pharmacist who filled that prescription but they were nothing but rude about the entire situation and did not follow through with what they said they would do to help resolve things. I will definitely be switching pharmacies and also telling others about how I was treated.
Desired outcome: Pharmacists should engage in best practice on every level. Hopefully someone will speak to them about the responsibility to uphold the highest standards in regards to dispensing medications and also about how they treat consumers
An employee's on-going harassment of me, whenever I enter the store...
Just stopped in to grab something for dinner, check my blood pressure, etc. I go to this location because it is the closest to my home by a bit, and on my way home from work... I went to Shoppers in Silver Springs Calgary, Alberta just now, 5 pm June 16, 2023.
I forgot my bags in my vehicle, but the only bags available in store cost $5!
I just want to pay for my stuff and leave with munimum trouble. But paying on the self- serve I have to go through about a dozen menu items about the method of payment, type of receipt, charitable donations, optimim card, then method of payment again, etc. It is very frustrating.
Then awkwardly take out 2 arm fulls of merchandise because I refuse to pay $5 for a bag. The previous customer was also annoyed that he paid for plastic bags, but they weren't any.
I am so frustrated, I don't want to shop at Shoppers anymore.
Desired outcome: Ensure there are reasonably priced bags at checkout.Streamline payments at self-checkout.I don't want an apology, I want you to fix these problems, or you will lose more customers.
