I ordered my photos online, received an email confirmation then a few days later phone call from the store to say my photos were ready to pick up.
However, when I went to pick them up only part of my order was there.
I was really surprised that I wasn't informed that only part of my order was ready. I asked the manger why I hadn't been told this and her response was "you're the one who ordered it online so how are we supposed to be able to know what you've ordered".
A little unprofessional as well as unhelpful don't you think?! I asked if I could have any compensation and she just replied "no we can't do that". I didn't push it any further as this was clearly a woman in no hurry to be of any help whatsoever. Hence why I am writing to you. I am a long standing loyal shoppers customer who would 1) appreciate some compensation 2) like to know when the remaining part of my order will be ready and 3)why don't you clearly indicate if an order ready for pick up is only a partial order.
This is my confirmation # 02JBY6G7BW0
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. Kate
behaviour of one staff member
I was in the store on december 7 th 2017 in Grimsby, and my mom ask a lady to move her cart so we could get through and her attitude toward it was fine I guess I will have to move (not oh sorry I will move this for you no nothing) she was pissed off at us because we ask her to move her cart of drinks that needed to be put on the floor. and the she told us she would move it in two minutes and I said to minutes is up joking around with her and she told me not to be sassy which I technically wasn't being sassy at all.
the lady that was like this was with a dark/ light brown shoulder length hair some what chubby.
and then a few minutes later we were talking to someone, by the employ part and we were going to hold the doors for her to come through with the juices on it and she told us in a not so nice way"I can [censor] open the door myself" and when she came through the door she almost hit me in the face with frickin door.
I am now afraid for my life to go back to that store so I don't get talk to that way again and same with my mom. its uncalled for. no one should be rude to the customer at any given time. if you're having a bad day leave it at your door before you leave home and get into work.
it was a miss understanding and she was having a bad day and she apologize for her actions
pharmacy
On nov 14th 2017 I was given a prescription forauro moxifloxacin 400 mg and teva prednisone 50 mg. I am on odsp and have coverage, when my daughter brought my prescription they said it had to be paid cash I did not have the cash so my daughter paid out of her food money thinking I would be reinbursed once they heard from the hospital, not sure why this was not covered? So a few days later I called to see if they heard from hospitals doctor that treated me they did not they said they would contact me when they call still not sure why it wasnt covered under odsp. Today being dec 7 2017 I decided to go in and ask if they heard anything from the doctor they replied its been 3 weeks we cant refund your money this is almost $50.00 I dont get much money enough to care for my self and my grand daughter which I also care for, so today was my worst day ever with shoppers drug mart pharmacy, so because they didnt call me as they promised I am out this money for my medications that I desperately needed and now feeling a bit better to go and ask for my money, I cant because I supposedly waited to long really? I was to;ld they would call me from the beginning so clearly they did not intend to call me and keep my money maybe they have something against people on odsp maybe they dont agree I should get coverage I dont know, so now im out this money. They even had something written on the paper customer un - responsive really called 2 times my self and heard nothing from them. I will never ever go to this pharmacy of shoppers again I will make sure to tell my family and friends what happened and how I was treated, taking and keeping money from someone on odsp is un forgiving this pharmacy at collingwood ontario did nothing at all to make it right, thanks so much. Have a great day
pharmacy, wrong meds given!
A few years back I started methadone. My first few months, my town did not administer methadone. I had to get my drink at shoppers in strathroy. I finished my drink then was handed a bag, a script. I thought it was my clonidine. I ten proceeded to continue to my summer camping destination. My dad and I were driving and I opened the bag and it was someone else's script for lorazapam. I showed my dad he works for the o.p.p andknew the mixture could be deadly. We then threw the script out..in a dumpster. Few days after I was told I was banned from shoppers because of this..I was devastated causing me to have to get my methadone hr away. My dad and I wrote letters protesting I did not do anything wrong and it was the pharmacist fault as it was handed to me...and it didn't have my name on it. So. Not only was I banned but they then put a picture of me in the store saying I was banned . Causing great humiliation. I also own my own eco friendly business in that area and my business plumited. I feel I was humiliated and treated unfairly...so I am in contact with a lawyer and there are so many faults made by the pharmacy. Not me. I want to bring this to the public's attetion, I feel I was treated unfairly and that in return caused me great turmoil and left me embarassed. I had cancelled clients, had to drive an extra half hour to get my methadone everyday. I had a picture at the counter humiliating me. I'm sorry if you see where I went wrong i would do different. Lawyers feel I have a case, who else would these meds have gone too? child? Senior? Those were serious meds.. laziness on the pharmacy I would say.
flu shot
I went to Shopper's ( Kimberley BC) for Flu Shot ( I am my Dad's caregiver) Nov 9th. She gave the shot pretty high on my arm, as of today, I still can't lift or move my arm without HUGE pain. Is this normal, I don't think so. The pain is getting worse, not better. As I have absolutely no health issues except for a massive pain in my left arm since the shot, I think that Pharmacist should not be giving shots, because she obviously doesn't know how. I would like someone to please "repair" my arm.

employee/staff
Yesterday, December 5 at approximately 830 I was shopping at the Shoppers drug mart located at Lansdowne Street by High a Street. While in the store I was in the baby care isle and heard a bit of a commotion. I noticed that two Brinks employees were working on the RBC atm, that had an out of order sign on it, when they were approached by a female employee. It seemed as though the Brinks employees were explaining to her that the machine was working and that from time to time may do updates on the machine from off site which may shut it down temporarily.
The reaction from your staff member was unbelievable. She started accusing the Brinks employee of calling her stupid, and making demands about them emptying garbage. She had no regard for the other persons in the store and was not listening to what was being said. The Brinks employee kept telling her about why the machine had gone down and that they are not in charge of emptying the garbage as they don't have a key to do so. Her entire demeanour was disgusting to me, like she was on a power trip.
If she is prepared to treat these two employees that service a machine within your store this way, then is this how she treats customers? If she is a person that you have representing your store, then that's a very disappointing representation.
I shop at this location regularly, but I can easily say, that after the display I saw yesterday, I will not be returning to the store and will take my business elsewhere.
In a world where there are so many complaints about how men treat women, this does not give women the right to treat men with such disrespect and attitude. Poor customer service.
lipstick on sale
I went to Weston road and major Mackenzie shoppers drug mart last Saturday dec 2nd 2017 to buy lipstick. It says on the sign that it was on sale for $5.99 and when I went to pay at the cashier. They are charging me a regular price. So I told the cashier it's nit right, it was on sale. So a manager checked it and went with her to show the price. She said that it's only referring into a one certain colour and this is very misleading! Your company needs to change how to display your sale price! Put the sale tag that will say " applies to one colour only". You guys are misleading your customer!
pharmacy inside shoppers drug mart at mccowan and buroak location
Hi there,
I am so disappointed by the service received by the pharmacy owner Shamim at the shoppers drug mart located at McCowan and buroak location. I got here at 9:45 pm and she literally tells me I shouldn't come so late next time. Then she goes on to say that the wait is 20 minutes and I said okay it's fine. Then she looks at the prescription and says the doctor is not working at this hour so how come you came late and keeps whining about it. I told her why is she repeating the same thing over and over again. She shows me such bad attitude. I told her this is the reason why my mom asked me to go to freshco pharmacy as she got the same treatment before. Then the pharmacist owner goes do you want to take the prescription somewhere else. If freshco was open We wouldn't come here. It's closed that's why we are here. I am in shock at the way she behaved especially when she is a pharmacy owner. This is not the type of service shoppers drug mart should deliver to their customers. My mom needs the antibiotic tonite so we have no other choice to go somewhere else. That's the only reason why we are giving her the business.
turned away at makeup counter...
It was the Bramalea City Centre location: December 2, 2017
I was picking up 1 product, went to the cashier, the line-up was 12 people long. I proceeded to go to the make-up counter and asked to cash out. The cashier says, "the cashier is over there" (she's point across the store behind me) I said that the line was really long, she says, "sorry we were told that during the holiday season we cash out make-up/beauty items only". I placed the item on the counter and walked out the door. There was not 1 customer around the make-up counter, no one was waiting to be cashed out and the 2 cashiers were standing there, talking to each other... this is outrageous! I spend so much money at Shoppers Drug Mary! I was appalled and offended!
I have been pulled from line-ups during the holiday season in other stores and ushered to the jewelry counter at other stores, ie: Winners! And no jewellery was purchased by me. If this cashier had been nice enough, maybe while she was cashing out I may have purchased some make-up while browsing at the counter.
service
I have been a long term customer of Shoppers. I just went there tonight to get 20x the points. Something was priced less then what I thought so I was 3$ less than 75.00 for 20x the points. You'd think the salesperson would have told me that but she didn't. I looked at my bill and was about to go and talk to her but she was already helping someone else. I picked up another item and went to another cash. That salesperson could not help me and said only the salesperson with the people in the line could help me but my husband was not feeling well in the car and I didn't have time to wait. This is not the first time things like this have happened. I would have really appreciated if she just would have told me at the time of the transaction. I have decided that I will not go back to Shoppers. You've lost a customer that spends a lot of money there in a year.
pharmacy customer service
Pharmacy forgot to enter the prescription and refill under my name, as a result I wasn't allowed to refill for the night. The girl working outright called me a liar, saying that because it wasn't there under my name, I had no proof despite me showing her the bill with the name/dose sent to my insurance. I recommend not filling your prescriptions at this location, go 2 minutes south to Yonge and Finch, that location is much friendlier.
perfume sampling
This is silly.
I was in a shoppers drug mart and went to smell a fragrance. I was stopped and told, I could not do so. Even the clerk said, she could not open the unsealed box to let me smell the fragrance.
You have to purchase. Then u can open and sample. If you do not like, you can return Nd purchase another brand. Seriously?
Bad PR. I was going to purchase four gifts. Going to the Bay.
Lost a sale of $80.00.
Not impressed!
Lori Poirier
It's a simple policy most, if not all, stores follow -- do not open sealed product if you're not purchasing it. You cannot expect to open a brand new product to test it, even if there is no tester, because you've now damaged the item and lost the store the value of that product by doing so. How many times have I gone to purchase a cosmetic to find someone has stuck their fingers in it? Likely only to purchase the brand new, sealed pack right behind it. It's unfair to the person shopping the product after you, and loses the store the money if you chose not to buy the product you've opened after all. Unrealistic to expect the employee would let you just open a brand new perfume.
Since you're only spending 80 bucks on 4 perfumes that means you're buying the 19.99 fragrances. THEY never come with testers. They're literally dirt cheap, get off it.
flu shot
My Daughter and I went to the Shoppers Drugmart at South Common in Mississauga. We waited in line for 20 minutes and were told that it would be a half an hour wait, even though no one else was there for a flu shot, and she did not even inquire with the pharmacist if it was possible to get a flu shot;then she said that she could not guarantee out place in line (no line existed) if we left the store.
We had quite a bit of shopping to do, but after hearing your customer service representative and how un caring and rude, we decided to leave. Is the big poster at the Pharmacy that says " Get your Flu Shot today" false advertising? Does Shoppers Drugmart let employees know of this advertising?
Your complaint is a little difficult to read due to your grammar and run-on sentences. That being said, why would the "get your flu shot today" sign be false advertising? Having to wait for thirty minutes is not equal to having to come back on a different day.
Your flu shot does not trump the order that the regular customers, who are waiting for their prescriptions, comes in. If a woman with a sick child comes in before you and needs their medicine, and it takes the pharmacy 15ish minutes to put that medicine together, you'll have to wait about 20 minutes in order for THEIR prescription to be entered, filled, checked, and counselled upon. They don't employ special pharmacists just to do flu shots. It doesn't matter if you're the only one waiting for it, consider it a prescription that you're waiting for; you get put into the "customer is waiting" line up. Get off your high horse, not everything is about YOU RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW.
coke 6 pack of 710ml bottles
Flipp had it advertised for $ 2.29 as a two day special. The sign in the store said $2.49. I showed the cashier Flipp on my phone and she showed me that the flyer said 2.49 and she had to go by the flyer price. I've attached my receipt and the Flipp advertisement. I was under the impression if something was advertised incorrectly, that my purchase would be free.

I have been shopping at Shopers for many years. I went to the Windsor Ontario location on Banwell and Tecumseh. I have brought drinks into other Windsor stores on more occasions than I can count. I sent my kids out for some some drinks and when they returned they were very rudely informed that no drinks were allowed in the store. Besides the rudeness, what baffles me is the fact that I have never (not once) been told by any other employee at any other Shoppers that I couldn't bring in a drink. Also there is the fact that my daughter bought a pop from there and they had absolutely no issue with her drinking in the store.
Policies may not be always enforced, but I can understand why they wouldn't want people (kids) walking around with open containers.
shortage of medicine is not being reported
Hi
I am being told by my pharmacy in Champlain Mall that there is a shortage of Androgel, but there is no report of shortages at the https://www.drugshortagescanada.ca/ website. Where are you sourcing your medication from that it doesn't show up there? When I contacted another pharmacy I was told I could obtain Androgel in its pump form from them.
ill treatment of long time customer from store manager, and breach customer trust by skirting around the return policy.
Date: November 25, 2017
Invoice number 9990209891011002085633

On November 19, I purchased a water flosser. Arriving home, I broke the seal, and looked inside. I Realized it was not what I wanted. I went to Shopper drug mart (2223 Bloor st.) Trying to return it. The lady at the cashier (Zoe Barnes) was polite. She could not make a decision so she called a supervisor. The supervisor says that it is the store policy that only Life brand electronic product can be return. So, I demanded to speak with a manager. He called his manager Mr. Bhupinder Dhaliwall.
Mr. Bhupinder Dhaliwall was rude and have super ability to turn black into white. He kept putting words into my month.
a) "you already use it, I can not resale it" . I told him that I did not use it. I told Ms. Zoe Barnes as much from the very beginning. Ms. Zoe explain to him what I said, he cut her short. "She does not have to answer you anything..). He said that you can not change your word now, I know what I heard.
b) My staff told you that it was a final sale (it was not a product on sale). I explained to him that no one ever explain to me that it was non returnable. He said that he knows his staff have told me so.
c) "There are fine print, you should read them." I asked him to show me the fine print. He refused. I certainly can not see the fine print any where saying what he said.
d) I asked if he can write down our conversation, so that I can explain to the head office. He said he was not going to write anything. He does not have time to deal with this kind of things.
...
He was over bearing, rude, and full of self important. I told him about my history of 30 years business with Shoppers, he does not give a damn. It is clear that he is trying to show all around how important he is.
I like to this to be a formal complaint about the unclear return policy. If things are non returnable, it should be clearly stated in the invoice. In the invoice there is a cause of return within 30 days. As well, it should clearly state on the label where the product sold.
If my family's more than five thousand dollars a year worth of drug prescription with your business does not worth a damn to you, then I will move my family drug prescription from shoppers. I sure do not want to deal with people who so very unfriendly.
Sincerely
Kamman Cheung
cosmetic resale
Hi, I am report a shoppers in 261055 Crossiron Blvd #514 Rocky View, AB. T4A 0G3.
They sold hundreds of same cosmetic to one customer. (the cosmetic include many different items i.e. lipstick, foundation, eye shadow). which I am sure they are for re-sale.
This happens many times. if you can take look at the store videos, I am sure you can find who and when did it.
Your complaint is almost impossible to understand due to your grammar. Is it that they sold a lot of product to one person? If so, they do have the right to do that.
behavior of staff
Hi,
I am the regular Coustomer of Millbourne mall, Edmonton shopper drug mart. I have concern with the behavior of the staff they are really too rude specially Philippino morning supervisor and a guy with bald. Once I told them that milk is expire before given expiry date but supervisor even didn't bother to listen me and through Money back on my face. Secondly, today we went two times to buy something and one guy cashier starring at us because my daughter had surprise eggs in her hand. So my wife went back to store that I just bout this one and I have a receipt why you r steering at us. They said I forget, it's totally insulting and embrassing from shopper drug. Please train your staff.
coupon for lindt chocolates not accepted at york lanes (was before)
I went to york lanes shoppers (York University this morning and as ive been doing last couple of weeks, i was buying a bag(box) of lindt datk chocolates, on which there is a $3 coupon to be used on next purchase.
Well the young man working the cash was quite adamnt (nad this actually quite insulting by implying that I Had to buy the big box of lindt chocolates in order to get the $3 rebate)
Ive talked to Lindt this morning as well, and as at york lanes they ve previously accepted the coupon when i bought my last couple of bagboxes of lindt dark chocolate.
Anyhow the lady i spoke with at Lindt customer and corporate service found this odd, as she told me that coupon is meant for the bagbox as well not just the very big box of lindt chocolates
Yes they were on sale too thos morning, which gave me thw impression this young teller was just onterested in collecting monies; "customer service and following up on offers/ coupons, be damned ! "
Id like this Resolved ASAP
Iy was Quite Aggravatinh.
Thank you,
Sincerly,
R. Tomasi
