Shoppers Drug Mart bogo vitamins

2nd complaint in two years about the same thing. Every time BOGO vitamin promotion is on, it excludes those on sale and the whole vitamin aisle is full of sales stickers. Deliberate action to limit the BOGO uptake. Rexall has same promotion but they do not scam their customers by putting them all on sale and excluding most brands. I never heard back from my first complaint so do not expect to hear back on this one either

Shoppers Drug Mart shoppers drug mart gift card

Hello
I tried to use my $25 shoppers drug mart gift card on January 3, 2018 in orillia on west mount drive store and the transaction was not completed. The cashier called for assistance and her supervisor stated that I have to contact head office since the card was swiped more than once by cashier (3 times she tried) and cards cannot be used if this occurs.

I received this card in the mail as part of using my RBC VISA points.
Please call me at [protected]. (My cell)

Shoppers Drug Mart 2 free movie pass promotion

To Whom It May Concern,
I have bee a Shoppers client for many years - Optimum # [protected]. I went to Shoppers today Sunday Jan. 7th and made a purchase of $81.25 before taxes. After paying for my purchase the clerk did not offer me the 2 free movie passes that I was entitled to based on my spend. I was told they ran out of tickets and the posters were taken down because they had no more movie tickets. This has happened to me before and I let it go. If Shoppers can not honour their advertisement then they should not be offering this promo. I understand you can run out then you should be prepared to offer rain checks or make it up with Optimum points. I am very disappointed and am requesting that Shoppers treat it's customers fairly. Looking forward to your reply.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy

I have bad over 15 issues with Shopper's Drug Mart the last 3 years. I am on many medications and they have called me a liar when in fact no one has ever delivered a single thing to me. They have accused me of taking a full bottle of pills (100 pills) in a single day implying I am an addict. I am continuously disrespected and treated like garbage because the medication I need is for my chronic pain. I can no longer even go in the store without the pharmacy staff harassing me. I now have to have my own Mother pick up my medication because they give me a hard time. They have also talked about me right in front of me thinking I couldn't hear and have said incredibly nasty things. I am so disgusted with the staff that work at the pharmacy that I have a panic attack before calling to get a refill. I know this will never be fixed because they are a huge corporation and I am one single person, but I needed to get this out there so people are warned. Don't use Shopper's for their pharmacy unless you want severe anxiety, to be called a liar and never receive your medication.

Shoppers Drug Mart staff

I was just in a shoppers drug mart, I usually spend atleast $50 every visit, once a month or more. Today I had a cart full of almost $50 and I had a mascara that I seen on sale for $6.49. Upon self check-out it was ringing up for $7.99. The merchandiser was called who then went to the cosmetics counter and there the lady told him it's not that colour for sale. I had a black mascara, and nowhere on the sign did it state anything about only a specific colour was for sale. All of the black mascaras were all in the same spot under that sale sign for $6.49. So as a customer I thought shoppers would take the error as their mistake and realize as a customer I only seen a sign with no details that it was only the brown mascara on sale. But the cosmetics lady was rude and wouldn't even realize this was their error. So I asked for the manager - a very rude girl named Jerizzia came and said she won't do anything about it, I was so shocked as the sign did say $6.49, she embarrassed me in front of all the customers saying she needs to help the customers, as if I was not also a customer. I said Walmart would have issued the price as a courtesy to the paying customer, and after her rudeness I actually left all my items I had already bagged and walked away. Jerizzia then shouted to me as I was leaving "you should go shop at Walmart then" this was in front of a packed store! How terrible and unprofessional. I have never felt such bad customer service in a while, and I know good service as I train and recruit for a top Retail company. Shoppers needs to train their staff better!

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy

I have been dealing with this pharmacy for over twenty years. My prescriptions are comprised of controlled substance and regular meds.
I also seem to have last minute problems with this pharmacy and they lack being proactive in resolving or ensuring that their clients have their medications. I have a medication that is controlled and therefore cannot be renewed until due date. The prescription label stated 7 renewals so I thought all was ok. It's a Saturday, called for renewal for all my meds. Told by the pharmacist that the med in question is expired. What? Apparently you have an expiry date on meds but fail to advise your clients of the upcoming expiration event though the label stated 7 renewals left. How am I supposed to know the upcoming expiry date if you don't advise me or use one of your warning stickers on the previous renewal.
Pharmasict refused to help me until new prescription, and furthermore did not bother to renew my other prescriptions. Due to the fact that the med in question is required and have been used for twenty years, I found myself facing withdrawals. Great customer care!
The pharmacists at this location do not care for their clients and are only used to dispense pills. Forget getting any help from them after hours or when something like this happens.

Shoppers Drug Mart staff

I was in the Shoppers drug Mart purchasing some creams. I usually spent anywhere from 80.00 to 200.00 in shoppers twice a month. The services was terrible. I noticed the staff was very helpful to the other patrons but seemed irritated when I was paying. I work in the social services field and I was shocked this staff is a manager. Her name was Patrica. A smile or a kind word would have been nice.

Customer relations is apparently not taken seriously at Shopper's Drug Mart. I have had three encounters with obnoxious cashiers at the Shopper's Drug Mart in St. Vital Center on Dakota street in Winnipeg, and finally had had enough by the third so I called the manager and left a complaint on his answering service. From reading the complaints like this one posted here, I realize that I would rather shop elsewhere at this time since I doubt customer relations will be getting better any time soon. Grow up SHOPPERS DRUG MART administrators! Train your staff so properly.

Shoppers Drug Mart poor pharmacy service

So everytime I go to get my meds from this shoppers at 681 algonquin Blvd E #5, Timmins, On, P4N 8S6, they mess up the entire prescription and even try and charge me for fee's that should be covered, this happens everytime without fail no matter how much I try and prevent it from happening. This usually results in me paying for meds that should be covered and then being told to come in the next day for my refund. Should be fine right, except everytime I try to come for my regund i'm told that either the delivery man didnt bring money back (which I don't see how thats my problem) or that I was charged on the account (w/e that means) and bunch other exscuses that contradict the previous employee's that I spoke with. Basically i'm dicked around for few days till they eventually sort things out. If your like me and have a disease thats effected by stress, this pharmacy and it's half fast employee's ain't a good place to deal with unless you want to deal with their unwillingless to do their jobs.
5 times in a row this happened (you'd think they'd smarten up fith time) so now I'm writing this to warn anyone with medical issue that it's not worth going to that particular pharmacy, as they'll just lie through their teeth and tell you previous employee you talked to that said everything would be fine and that their writing notes for whoever you talk to next, and you'll just be passed around and fustrated the entire time.
The employee's at this pharmacy doesnt even have good speaking skills as you can't explain anything without them sayinng they can't do nothing, just to be told by another employee that they can. This pharmacy makes you feel helpless.

People I'd like to complain about from my most recent visit is the superviser Jessica who was less then pleasant about the whole ordeal, and parth who was the first person I dealt with who said I would have my money back in cash the next day (4 days ago and still waiting...) would list other names, cuz most of the pharmacy employee's are just as bad but didn't think I would be screwed around soo much.
Still waiting to get money thats owed which apparently only the owner can do even though the other 4 times I didn't need the owner.
Shoppers needs to curate their employee's more as this is not a great experience in the least.

Shoppers Drug Mart photo department

Dears,
I had a bad experience with shoppers photo department in 3940 Innes Rd, Orléans, ON K1W 1K9.
I had taken my children to shoppers to take photos for Permanent Residence cards renewal. I clearly informed the lady their that these photos must meet the IRCC requirement for PR cards renewal. She clearly informed me that if the photos were returned just bring it back to us. The whole docs for my children were returned to me at Friday, 15, Dec, 2017 saying that the photos did not meet the the photograph specifications of IRCC. They stocked the photos on a print out of photograph specifications. It is clear that all photos of the three children does not meet the required dimensions of the photos. Also, the photos for my youngest daughter had a smile on it, which is not allowed.
Yesterday, Dec, 17, 2017 I visited shoppers asking them for refund because the photos were returned and that delayed the PR cards procedures for nearly two months. The lady I spoke with asked for a formal letter which indicates the reasons for photos rejection for IRCC. I showed here the the photograph specifications sent by IRCC with rejection. It was clear for her that the photos do not meet the requirements according to specifications paper. She refused to make the refunds and asked me to come back again to meet the manager. She did not say anything wrong. But, the way she spoke to me was like as I am faking the whole story.
Right now, I want a complete refund for my money.
Photos are attached and I have receipts.

Shoppers Drug Mart unethical behavior - non professional

I have a formal complaint about one of customer reps at your store Tanya working at Shoppers Drug mart at 950 Franklin's Blvd.
Me and My family live in this neighborhood for some time and my parents frequent this shoppers as this is near to their house and they come for groceries, prescriptions and other daily items. They come on Thursday's usually because of Seniors discount they get.
The incident is from this past Thursday when my father and mother visited the store, They bought some items and when they were billed the senior's discount was missed by the cashier even after they provided their shoppers card. They took the receipt and as they are old and have language problem they didn't say much and came home where my father took a closer look and found out that actually he and my mom had not received the discount.
They phoned me and asked me to come and accompany them to shoppers as they have language problem, I came from my house to accompany them to shoppers and we reached there and we told the same cashier about our situation and she first said the discount is there but then realized that it is missing so she said she will correct it. We figured she must be new and we patiently waited for her to rectify it. She needed some authorization so she called Tanya over and that was where the problem started.
Tanya's body language and approach was so nonprofessional and rude that we felt like victims standing there. We felt that the way she approached us was like we were asking for something for free wasting everybody's time and like beggars for discount. I haven't seen anybody in customer care role like that in my experience.

In the meantime I had some items I required for me and I had them in the trolley, as she was helping us with the refund/discount she told me that she cannot allow me to buy those items on my dad's optimum card as the limit of milks they bought 2 hours ago is met. I asked her why would that matter, If I came to the store with my dad without the refund/ discount issue and bought the milks would they still treat us the same way?
she picked the milks form my trolley and left. I felt like I was shoplifting, after that I approached her and I asked her who will compensate us for the time we have to waste and the gas my father and I have to spend on to come to shoppers again to which she said call the manager if I have any issues. She gave me the store ph no, [protected] and name but refused to gave me any email. I got the email from Sidney who was very nice to us the whole time.
I specifically asked Tanya do you not want my business to which she replied 'No', I assume she don't care about the customer side of customer care.

Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy

I am very disappointed with Shoppers Drug Mart Quispamsis & 681 Mountain Rd Moncton.

I am away for the holidays, my script which I typically have delivered is due to run out. Not a problem, I have refills. I call Quispamsis (home pharmacy) to confirm my prescription and make a request to have it transferred to 681 Mountain Rd. Moncton where it can be picked up on my behalf.

I am told my Sandra 'pharmacy tech' Quispamsis that the prescription was rang out yesterday, someone came to pick it up. I am confused, I did not give my authorization for anyone at this point to pick up my prescription not did I receive a call from the pharmacy to confirm my authorization.

I am away, it doesn't make sense that I would authorize an individual to pick my prescription up for me from my home pharmacy (Quispamsis), because I am not home. It's the holidays, I am away, I have no need to justify my situation.

The pharmacy allowed my prescription to be picked up by an unauthorized individual, without my consent nor authorization. They failed to call me to confirm the pickup. Their failure and error not mine. Atop of this they attempted to shame me as if it was my error, blaming me as opposed to apologizing and taking responsibility for their lack of appropriate protocol.

I am told that they'll need to file a police report, I tell Laurie 'store owner' with who I was speaking that's not an issue. She asks me what I want her to do, I tell her again, I am away and require my prescription transferred to an alternate pharmacy so I can arrange pick up.

Laurie obliges and asks for the pharmacy address. I give her the address of the pharmacy and am told that she will transfer my prescription so that it can be picked up. End of conversation, not a big deal, or so I thought.

I call the pharmacy (681 Mountain Rd, Moncton after receiving a message upon my voicemail with regards to cost of prescription. The pharmacy tech to whom I am speaking begins treating me poorly, making accusations, being rude, speaking down to and over me, as a result of my being flagged for the error of my home pharmacy. I am irritated and annoyed at this point.

I call my home pharmacy and speak to Laurie, who I spoke to with regards to the issue and she is being rude and ignorant to me, not listening, speaking over and down to me attempting to put words into my mouth. This is not ok!

My prescription was billed to my benefits, I'm told that not only will I need to pay out of my pocket for my prescription, the receiving pharmacy needs to call the prescribing physician to authorize a early refill!? I tell the pharmacy tech with who I am speaking that I did not get my prescription because my prescription was given to an unauthorized individual, my home pharmacy failed to confirm with me that it's ok for my prescription, that I usually have delivered, unless I call and tell them I will be into pick it up, picked up by an unauthorized individual!

I am red flagged due to what the home pharmacy told the receiving pharmacy, spoken down to and treated poorly and made to fill
like a criminal. No apology or anything! The blame for the error and lack of proper pharmacy protocol placed upon me. I am without my prescription and having difficulty having it filled because of Shoppers Drugs Quispamsis error!

This is not ok! Shame upon you Shoppers Drug Mart, shame upon you Laurie! Shame upon Terri the pharmacy tech for treating me poorly and making accusations!

Shoppers Drug Mart customer service in photo department

I am a nice and friendly person. I had a terrible experience where the photo department lady was exceptionally rude to me. She blamed it on ‘having a bad day'. That's no excuse to be rude to people.
She was very ignorant when I asked to pick up my photos. She acted as if I were stupid and told me she'd call when they came in. Little did she know that I had the tracking number so I could see that they were delivered to her location. When I asked her about this she treated me rudely again and said that yes they were in the back but not up front yet because she had to go get them and scan them in. She rudely asked if I wanted her to do it like I was a big inconvenience in her day. This is her job..
I have a young baby in tow and I'm in there frequently and always patient and nice. Not impressed. I'll never order photos from shoppers again they just lost a customer.

I just had a bad experience with customer service for passport photos done in a Charlottetown, PEI shoppers drug mart. The young man working had this 'as if you are good enough to get a photo done' sarcastic attitude. He said yeah right all the time and telling me to do the same things over and over. He didn't know the real criteria for passports only some of them; it was how he'd like them done, and he was going over the top with them. I felt like I was in a detention center after he was done. I would have just left but I was completely shocked at the level of rudeness. Never going in those doors again.

Shoppers Drug Mart wrong clearout pricing on deodorant

Clearout price on a deodorant was from 8.99 to 4.49 which I thought was a great deal until I lifted the clear out price tag and saw the deodorant was normally 3.99 list price and the same deodorant (different scent, same 48hr protection) right next to it was 3.99. I'm wondering why clear out prices are higher than list prices and can I actually trust your sale prices, which is why I shop here.

Shoppers Drug Mart unprofessional bad attitude at 935 eglinton ave west. toronto

I would like to bring to your attention horrible experience I was exposed to in your 935 Eglinton Ave W, Toronto store.

On December 6, 2017 I walked into above mentioned store to make a purchase and return at the same time one of your products (Refresh Celluvisc Vials), purchased at your regular price $18.49, on Dec. 2, 2017.

Upon my arrival at the customer service desk I was exposed to uncalled, unprofessional attitude by the working attendant, who informed me that she would not be accepting my return. The reason she gave me was that that item was purchased at a different store, and since Shoppers Drugmart Stores are franchises they have the right to adapt their return policies as they chose.
When I questioned that strange statement another employee came over and confirmed the previous tellers statement, and added that this product has an expiry in FEBRUARY 2018, (that's more than 2 months from now) and that I had to go back to my original store since this location "...will not take the loss for this return."
At that point I truly couldn't believe my ears. I have been your customer for the last 28 years and I never heard about this "adaptive return policy". Having heard that, I explained the tellers that I had eyes surgery a few days earlier and it was extremely difficult for me to see, and naturally driving was impossible at that time; thus I have demanded to speak to the store manager. Once the manager arrived, who refused to identify himself to me, other than telling me that he is the "Front Line Manager" things went from bad to worse. Not only he wouldn't tell me his name, but he confirmed your "Franchise Adaptive Return Policy...?" I have tried to plea and reason with your FLM, explaining him that I was in incredible discomfort and could not go back to the original store to make my exchange for other drops. To my shock, he not only couldn't care less about my condition but literally told me "...YOU have to go back where you purchased this since this store will not be taking a HIT on this return."
Your FLM is not only disrespectful, but also and incredible ignoramus lacking any human compassion.

To conclude, I would like to point out that this experience caused me such an aggravation that I have purchased other drops at your competitor.

I'm truly disappointed that Shoppers Drugmart went in that direction. I remember times when shopping at your stores was a good professional experience, and all stores worked under one banner and one policy. If in fact, if this is the new direction which Shoppers Drugmart is taking, then regretfully I can no longer be your customer, since I lost all trust in your organization.

Yours truly,

Gordana Oferczak.

Shoppers Drug Mart gift card and customer service

i was overcharged on a visit on October 30, and when I went in for the difference they gave me a gift certificate instead of cash so it would not affect my points balance. The only thing is the gift card would not work and the store more or less said too bad so sad your problem. So I attempted to call customer service and after a lengthy wait they told me I needed to talk to gift card department so I called and the wait was so long I had to leave for an appointment. When I came home I started over and I got the gift card dept and they said I needed customer service and I called the customer service number and then after explaining and being asked more questions I was told I needed to be transferred and then I asked to speak with a manager and the girl said yes but then the manager would not come to the phone and I was put on another long wait at which point I just decided to check this site and found this complaint board. Long and short I have about 21/2 hours into trying to get my money back after being overcharged and I am no closer to my goal. I have always liked Shoppers and shop there a lot but this is the worst customer service I have ever seen and I cannot seem to get resolution. Please advise me how I can get the gift card to work and how I can get the money back. The girl at the store seemed to know as she knew someone who had this problem with the new cards but the manager was not interested in the solution only in passing it off to me and then everybody keeps playing pass the buck.

Shoppers Drug Mart shoppers points

I did my big shopping trip on December 8h with the goal of taking advantage of the shoppers card point bonus when spending a certain amount, and was disappointed to learn that because I checked through at 12:03am I did not qualify, despite waiting in the line prior to midnight.

I'm hoping that 18500 pts as advertised will be added to my shoppers account as I was in line waiting to check out prior to the deadline; thanks in advance for hearing me out!

Regards,
Danelle
