enfamil formula
I bought two packs of Enfamil A+ Gentlease ready to feed formula on Jan.14 and Jan.24.
My baby was born on Feb.15. I fed my baby two bottles in first two weeks. Now the third week, yesterday I tried to feed one more bottle. My baby refused to eat. And I tried the formula by myself. It tastes like bitter. I opened another new bottle and tried. It tastes like bitter either. The expired date of the formula is 2018 Sep.28. The formula goes bad within the expired date. And my three weeks newborn baby ate two bottles of them. That's really unacceptable. I really want to get a good explain from shoppers drug mart. My email is:[protected]@gmail.com.
medication orders not being filled
I called using the automated prescription refill service on March 3/18. I chose to have the medication ready for pick-up the following day. When I went to pick it up they had no record of my refill request. --Ok, frustrating, but errors can happen. I happended to have a new Dr's order so gave it to the lady at the front desk. I also let her know that I only needed a refill on one of the meds on the list, but I did need a refill on the third one since my Rx for one the the meds had been doubled. I was told that they would have it ready the following day. When I returned the next evening the order had not been completed and the pharmacist said that they had called my house earlier needing to talk with me - no message had been left on my phone. They said that it was too early to get any repeats. They didn't realize that the medication had doubled. I once again was told to come back the following day to pick it up. Luckily I decided to call ahead before walking a km to get it. They didn't have it filled and I was told that they didn't have the amount that I needed but "they could give me 2 50mg tablets instead of 1 -100mg tablet", and that they could have it ready by tomorrow March 9th or I could wait until the 12th! When I first went in to talk to the staff I had made them aware that I was very low on my meds since my order had been doubled and was taking my current meds but doubling them.
This was the worst service that I have ever received at the shop, but have found that a very large majority of the time the medication is not completed when come to pick it up --even when it was supposed to be completed earlier that day or even have come 2 days later to get it and "they are just finishing my order" --that should have been completed for pick up a day earlier. I have finally had enough and have switched to a new pharmacy.
pharmacy and customer service
I have been to the shoppers drug mart on Lundys Lane 3 times recently and each time I have been offended, and feel discriminated because I have visable tattoos. I was ignored and made to feel that what I asked for was of some huge inconvience to the man behind the counter. They had rudly snaoed that the gravol was in isle 4, I said I wanted the larger bottle which was behind the counter. By my 3rd visit my fustration was clear, they laughed and ask why would anybody need that much, which made me feel embarrassed and upset that every time they made me feel that way. I wanted to speak to someone in charge because I couldn't brush it off and take their rude comments. They called the security guard over, they spoke to him quietly and were pointing at me. Guard came over and demanded i empty my pockets, which there were no indication that I had stolen anything. I asked if he directly seen me put anything in my pocket..he answered no, we were still in the store at this time. I told him if he wants to know whats in my pockets to call the police and gladly comply. As they were talking to me someone set the theft alarm off which they watched and let him through no issue at all.
Clearly I will never come back to and shoppers drug mart ever again, unless I can feel whole and respected somehow.
I dont normally complain and I dont expect anything. I hope that the people working at lundys lane at around 12;30 pm understand that its not ok to treat customers the way they consistently treated me.
pc optimum points card
Since the new points card came out, I was a dedicated shoppers drug mart shopper but now I refuse to shop here because the points system is worthless.
I would look forward to your points event days especially the 18, 500 when you spend $75.00 because you would get almost $30.00 back now with the new points system you would have to wait until you get 300, 000 points just to get back $30.00 what a awful merge you guys did doing this.
I would spend hundreds a dollars if not thousands on my beauty and baby products now I just go to walmart or another store because this PC optimum card is not worth my time and spending my money here at your store no more.
pharmacy manager/pharmacist
I had switched all of my prescriptions to this Shoppers pharmacy when I moved here within the last six months. Twice over the past two months, the pharmacist/manager, Marcel, refused to fill my physician's prescription because she didn't agree with the dosage. My physician had to contact and speak with her directly. I called to check to see if they had any of the medication in stock prior to bringing my next prescription, and Marcel got very rude, aggressive and wouldn't answer if they had any in stock and that she would discuss it when I was there. I told her it was the same prescription from twice before and only wanted to know if it was in stock, as the staff had told me the last time to call ahead in case they needed to order it in. She still refused to answer me, and I asked her why she was being so angry and rude. She declined to answer. My physician has now told me she will never deal with this pharmacist again. I will never use this store again, it was extremely insulting, unprofessional and rude.
I have been a very good customer at this store, as it has been my main store and I've spent a lot of money for products, both pharmacy and non. The extreme rudeness and aggression of the manager of the pharmacy is unacceptable.
gift with purchase not obtained when shopping online
I have been a Shoppers Drug Mart customer for many years. I have recently tried to take advantage of an online promotion which was of a tote with 17 samples if I spent 125$ or more on cosmetics before taxes. The promotion started on March 3rd, which was the day I've made 132$ purchase online. I thought it was weird that when I received the shipping confirmation there was no mention of such bonus added to the package. Sure, the promotional email said "while quantities last", however, if you go to their website there is still mention of the Spring Beauty Bonus and it doesn't say "while quantities last " like in the email. They also state that the offer lasts from March 3 to March 16 2018. I called customer service and they said it was very likely there was no more gifts available and I was given 15 000 courtesy points. I asked the agent to go to the website and look, she said she did and could not see what I was talking about. Well, the ad is still there on the beauty section. So they trick you into believing you're getting the bonus but then they are out of it. But it's still on their website! I think it's because they want to save money on the shipping as it's free over 50$. Fine, but they should at least alert you that there was no more bonus available during checkout, which they don't. Or even better, allowing me to pick up the gift at a physical store with my invoice. I feel deceived. Never again ordering online from them on the promise of getting a gift with purchase. Never! Buyer beware!
customer service
I arrived t the location on highland rd in Kitchener at 956 pm and the doors were already locked and the store is open until 10 pm. I entered thru the exit door and was spoke to by a lady working in the store named Meghan who was extremely rude and said we can't come through those doors and we're closed. I asked her why they were closed at 956 when the store was open until 10 and she just gave me a nasty look. I have never experienced such poor customer service at this store.
security guard
The grosvenor park location here in saskatoon has recently hired a security person that has made me decide to spend my money elsewhere. I shop here to buy everything except food, including mouthwash and toothpaste which is what I was picking up. She unnecessarily followed me around the store and was very impolite. I was respectful and as I tried to leave the store she literally followed me outside to my car. This is harrassment. I will be phoning the manager. I felt unsafe.
customer service
Today I went to shoppers drug mart at coxwell and danforth I a m a senior and I bought a couple of stouffers meals on sale 1.99 each... I said to the
Girl I thought becel was on sale... She does not even look at me and says I guess not... Anyway I receive my bill and it says I have $10, 000 points
So I go and buy 5 more stouffers but since the first cashier had not customer service experience whatsoever I go to the other girl... She informs me that I have to buy something else worth a nickel because my stouffer meals only add up to 995 so I say
I will go and buy another stouffers... She says lea ve mybag and just come back... So as I am coming back some man is starting to walk out with my
Bag of stouffers... So I say to the girl you did not do a good job looking after my bag after she told me to leave it there... And she says well now
I am busy... What are the chances you get two cashiers that have no customer service quality.. I always shop there.. Never seen these two before... Very annoying customer
rude customer service
Issue took place March 1st approx at the Ingersoll, Ontario store.
I went to pick up a pre ordered prescription and I needed renewal on my blood test strips. I asked to purchase a box of the Contour Next strips. I was told I would have to wait 30 minutes.
The boxes were on the shelf behind the teller. The pharmacist came over and asked what I wanted. I repeated my order and he said I had to wait 30 minutes. My reply was the box is right there, he replied I don't care.
I said to him, you don't care... he yelled at me in front of everyone in the store " he did not care" and walked away.
I've been going to this store for 12+ years. I order many perceptions being diabetic and high blood pressure. The pharmacist is Paul Kot, he has a reputation of being weird. The other pharmacists and staff are excellent.
I needed test strips so I went to Pharmasave. They provided me the strips within 3 minutes of arrival and yes, they were busy! I asked what was involved to transfer my perscriptions, they proceeded to help me.
I manage a very large GM Team, the timing of this event lined up to my forum next week on customer service. It's unfortunate that one ignorant person who yelled at a cleint in front of other customers resulted in my leaving Shoppers. This is a key item I enforce with my Team. Losing a client is quick by simple remarks. My Team deals with GM Corporate, so my stakes are much higher than yours.
Pharmacy medication error
Was given a medication on Sunday February 25 in evening was given Aripirazoles 10mg bid then another Aripirazoles 5 mg 38 days was not the right perception and not to take if you have heart con, low blood pressure, white blood cell count especially if you have problems with blood flow. Well had no sleep hard time breathing pure extuastion. But here the kicker part was to be prescribe blood thinners for two blood clots.mmmmm so my life was in jeopardy with this wrong medication given that was not per scribe to me. Lost page as I lost time at work. The doctors office called me on Tuesday February 27 and we were discussing over the phone what medication and etc and she said I need to investigate this more she then called the pharmacy and found out they have perceive the wrong medication to me. Ask me to take the mess back and get the right ones. The pharmist called asked me to do the same gave me back my two despensing fees I paid and never charged me for the new right perception I got which only covers the cost of gas to drive home and return to pharmacy to get the right perception. The right perception is called Apixaban which is a blood thinner for the blood clots I have. He was very apologetic to me. He never ask me to file out a report or nothing. The night I went in to the pharmacy only one person was behind the counter they were not busy so no excuse. This is a major thing I know things happen and we are human. But life is already to short to have that happen . Thus should be address to our community. To teach them not to trust them. pharmacist/owner farrah jessani and jenny store manager
To whom this may concern:
I hope this gets to the right hand up in Corporate office as this is not in regards to any products. I am also doing more research in regards to getting this complaint to the right department and Human Resources. This Incident occurred on Feb. 28, 2018 at approximately 1:30pm. Farrah Jessani ( Owner ) and Jenny store manager treat their employees with no respect or professionalism towards their employees. The store is located at 180 Danforth Avenue telephone number [protected]. The Labor Board must and will get involved.
My Name is Carl Chalhoub and I am the Son in Law of Fayez Gourgious who is employed in that location empl#322615. Fayez had got into a car accident on Feb.2, 2018 and is unable to work due to the doctors professional advice after being hospitalized for over 3 nights.
Fayez was trying to call and ask for a letter of employment and was kept getting the run around. On the above date mentioned Fayez had left a text message to the Farrah Jessani at 1:00pm followed by a doctors letter sent at 1:21pm. Fayez has also notified Jenny the Store Manager at 12:53pm that he was unable to work due to medical reasons up until March 21st, 2018.
At approximately 1:30pm in the afternoon on the above date mentioned, the associate/owner Farrah Jessani had called Fayez in out most disrespectful tone with absolutely no compassion to his situation in a rude and demanding manor that have led Fayez unable to breath due to a Panic Attack during the conversation. Fayez also suffers with Blood pressure and the conversation did not help him what so ever. His wife thought he was having a heart attack and quickly grabbed the phone notifying Farrah screaming that she needed to call the ambulance. Sure enough she had to hang up quickly to call 911 and get the Ambulance. The Ambulance arrived at approximately 1:52pm.
Fayez is not just an employee but a Manager of the Post Office and has been nothing but a loyal and responsible employee at his age of 65. This situation not only is disgusting yet completely mind blowing and actions need to be taken as soon as practically possible before this goes public on the treatment of their Employees within the Name of Shoppers Drug Mart and their Franchise owners. Not only is his Daughter a Pharmacist but to think as the Associate/Pharmacist/Owner would think twice and be compassionate and respectful towards their workers and follow doctors orders.
Fayez is now completely left hurt and distraught by the way they could treat him the way they do on a regular basis. As for the History with the Manager Jenny, many customers and employee tends to complain of her as well. I hope whoever is reading this complaint will understand that this is a very serious matter in which can not be tolerated or accepted. Not only is the Family going through a rough time of him unable to work yet another bill will arrive from the Ambulance for a situation that could have easily been avoided.
I strongly believe that they have no legal right to treat their valuable employees the way they do. Let me say that Farah had mentioned to Fayez that he should have been more professional not to text and call them when he had several times. Someone needs to let her know what they did was unacceptable with his current condition and inform them that a simple text message is a written document of notification and can be presented as proof. Perhaps Farrah wanted to verbally abuse him over the phone instead of having anything in writing.
I truly hope you see and understand our frustration. Looking forward to your response and the action that will be taken. You may reach me via email at [protected]@gmail.com. I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Carl Chalhoub

pharmacy dept
Received terrible service from the owner of the Pharmacy at 190 Northfield Drive W. in Waterloo Ont. She was rude to my spouse and had her in tears. The Pharmacists name is Maria Horner. We've been a customer here for a long time and up until now the service has been great but this particular day we were flabbergasted by the help we didn't receive that day. My spouse was yelled at, swear'd at and was left in tears about the ordeal. We had a delivery scheduled at Thursday Feb. 22nd 2018, I called to inform them that we just needed one of the prescriptions we ordered. We had more than one prescription to be filled couldn't afford them all. They had assured us that they would contact the driver to make sure they knew we only needed the one prescription and not the others. There was a definite disconnect because about 6 hours later the driver showed up with them all to which My spouse had to tell the driver we called already to change this. That I understand we are maybe an inconvenience, but how we were treated after this was the concerning part because we asked the driver to help us clarify the situation which he did. He was awesome. The Pharmacist yelled at my spouse and made her very upset and claimed we had called 3 times in 2 days (this is true, we were trying to clear up some mistakes on Shoppers end with our insurance coverage. My spouse lost her job and subsequently her health insurance and Shoppers was refusing my insurance because of this. Even though we had provided updated info and worked with Shoppers to rectify this. The situation finally got sorted out but not because of understanding but because of persistence on our part. The driver was amazing and I wish I knew his name to thank him again how much he helped us. He had commented to me how he didn't understand why she was treating us like this and that he had seen this behavior before in her. My spouse is type 1 diabetic and anxiety and relies on this medication to survive. Just though you should know because of this incident we are no longer confident in the services this Pharmacy provides and have switched providers.
gift cards
I purchased 2x $100 VISA Vanilla gift card and months later found out they were not activated. Unfortunately one card was misplaced. Shoppers provided a transactional record of the purchase and VISA activated one card. The cards were purchased using M/C but mastercard could not help and asked I go back to Shoppers. How can I proceed?
Date purchased 4/10/2017. Purchase amount $223.26
Amount disputed $105.95

beauty boutique at esplenade location 2223
I had visited this store today to make purchases at the beauty boutique and it was closed at 11:10pm. I was under the assumption that this store is suppose to be open till 12 am and that there should be a person available in all departments. There was no representative availble at the beauty boutique it was closed at 11 pm when i had checked with the person at the front door. I work very late hours each day and I needed to get a gift for my fiancé's anniversary gift. Because i had spent my hours driving to this location i could not go to another location to be able to grab a gift from the beauty boutique department. Now beacause no one was available i am in trouble and this is not acceptable. Please fix this issue so that when your store hours says 12 am a person is available in all departments.
prescription containers and labelling.
Shopper's has been our pharmacy of choice for 40 years; even after we moved, we continued with the same pharmacy at leslie and cummer in north york (toronto), ontario, canada.
However, the latest change has made it very difficult to maintain the loyalty. I need to take my thyroid meds at 6 a. M., each day. The change in the colour and labelling of the container is problematic for me, and thus unacceptable.
This morning, I go through the each of the containers, now yellow, with a yellow and blue label that goes fully around the container. Thus I cannot identify the medication. The pharmaceutical name is prominent; and the name by which I know the medication is in tiny, tiny, tiny letters somewhere in the middle of the label. So, go find that name!
What is the purpose of this annoying change? If it is company recognition, it is not in a good way.
I used to take my meds, and then go back to sleep. Well, by the time I go through this exercise, as you can tell by this email, I am fully awake and frustrated.
This is my second email, and I have yet to receive a reply. To my understanding, my complaint is repeated by many customers.
I do not wish to change pharmacies, but,...

magazine removal from stores.
Hello,
As an avid responsible gun enthusiast in Canada, I would like to state that after reading that you will no longer be stocking a gun lifestyle magazine on your shelves because one tweet from a "former mayor" is asinine. As a member of NFA and several well run gun enthusiast groups we will be posting this to our members. I will be cancelling all services, and will not SHOP at any of your stores unless this is reverted.
Now that David Miller is your acting periodicals censor, I also will no longer be supporting your company.
gift card and customer service
I recently retired and received a 50 Red Lobster card purchased at Shoppers in Oakville Ont. The girl who purchased it gave me the receipt also. When I called Red Lobster they said it was not activated when I called the drug store they said I had to contact the 1-800 customer service number which I did. They said they had to investigate and gave me a claim number. I went to my local Shoppers in Grimsby and they photo copied the receipt which I admit has faded and also the gift card, they faxed it to the name and number I was given. I did not hear anything so I called which by the way have been on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes each time I call. I was told they were still investigating and they would get back to me which did not happen, so today one week later this is at least 3 weeks now I called again she knew I was not happy so said she would send me out a new card which is going to take another week. This is poor poor customer service and I am certainly going to tell people not to purchase a gift card for anyone from Shoppers. I felt like I was asking for something criminal to be done. I am not going to let a 50 gift card go unused. I think you need to check how your cards are activated at the time of purchase so no one else has to go through this and you also need more people answering the phones so your customers are not on hold listening to music and how important we are to you. To me this was not taken care of in a timely matter. Thank you Lynn Fleming [protected] or [protected]@cogeco.ca
pc optimum
I was at the checkout today and mentioned that I only had my old Shoppers Optimum Card.
I was assured by the cashier that she would scan the old points to the new PC Optimum card.
She then kept my old card with my signature and tossed it intact into the waste basket and told me I didn't need it.
I asked for the card back ( as protection from fraud) and she then after the sale was complete returned it to me after assuring the points are now on the new card she handed me.
I promptly went to my computer once I returned home from shopping to register the new card and merge it with the points to see if it indeed was working. It kept saying that the numbers I copied in the requested optimum card number place was not valid. Well, it's the only card given to me by the cashier and now it says over and over that the numbers on the card are not valid.
Please rectify this promptly as I have been a loyal customer for many years, and would like to restore faith in the system that does not seem foolproof.
This should not be an alarming process. It seems that two incorrect methods can be used to scam trusting customers . One not really activate the card. Two not destroying the card or allowing the customer to destroy their own card. These two things leave the customer wide open to steal points which indeed translate into cash purchases. This can add up.
I would like to say please rectify this immediately or the authorities may have to be contacted.
Thank you.
so far PC Optimum has not been very helpful since their conversion. after a year in the program I realize that I have not been get PC World MasterCard points which equates to 30 pts per dollar spent. I am still getting bonus offers, but no bonus points for going to PC Family stores ie Loblaws, PC travel...check your points balance often. Their system is a fail!

How is it shoppers fault that the Enfamil is bitter? Sounds like a manufacturing issue on the brand's part, not the store selling it. They don't open and taste every package of consumable goods that comes into their possession.
