Not all states require breaks. Look into your states labor laws. As far as hours missing, you need to contact your franchise's HR department. If your at a loss, contact [protected] and ask for franchisee HR dept. She will be able to point you in the right direction.

my sister is have the same problems here in San Antonio texas. she has great attendance is always early but never gets a break the put her on car hop and both times somehow managed to be short and in return the manger took all her tips and more. so if you know what to do please say so cause i really think its unfair for a 16 year old to not get breaks and have her tips taken away when we know for sure she wasn't short.

Sonic Drive-In beware of working here!

Beware of working here... I transferred from another location and have never been treated with such disrespect by a general manager. She frequently flew off the handle, berating employees in front of customers... The first and last time I was the subject of her rage/bad day, I quit the next day. Customers pulled up in the drive-through saw/heard everything and had a look of pure disgust on their faces... Not to mention the constant sexual harassment by cooks, with no action taken by the employer. I would never imagine an employer treating their employees the way she did! Or saying the things she said! All because she was stressed out... Uh... Two words: bad management. To say the least!
I will never be a patron of this sonic! And it's the only one around! Keep in mind I worked at a few different locations about an hour away and have absolutely no problem patronizing those locations... The difference? The managers didn't treat their employees like dogs! (Actually... I treat my dog better than she treated me. Lol.) also, fellow employees would goof on/be on their cellphones constantly without reprimand... Because they were related to her or the woman directly under her.

Sonic Drive-In unfair treatment/firing of employee

I had been working for Sonic during my high school career, so when I took a year off after school, I naturally applied there. I had only been accustomed to working carhop duties, but they put me on fountain right off the bat, saying that being a carhop was "earned, " like it was being a manager, or something. I struggled to keep up, considering they sort of made me do almost everything and hardly anyone helped me with making drinks, ice cream treats, etc. Also, whenever I asked a question about how I was supposed to do something, I got snarky remarks from the lower management. At one point, a girl working as an assistant manager told me to go home because I was annoying her with my questions. I only asked them because I wanted to do THE BEST I could at my job. The rest of the carhops and fountains were totally rude to me, talked amongst themselves, and texted a lot while on duty. Coming from working full-time and at professional establishments, this was TOTALLY unprofessional. I got fired because I, and I quote, "was impossible to work with and acted unprofessional." Not once had the management disciplined me for any purpose, or for that matter even spoke to me in regards to any issues they might have with my work ethic. I visited the establishment recently, and the same people were working there. I am now a manager for a retail store and going to college while all if not most of the employees that work there still will still be working there for the next 10 years.

I know for a fact that it wasn't me. If you actually knew me or would ask any of my friends, I am a very friendly and outgoing person. These people, for some odd reason, had something against me. I am also a very professional employee. I work two jobs, both of which I have recieved employee of the Month numerous times. So, how can that be me?

Sorry, something screwy must be going on with my computer. Everytime I use a comma it put some ' in place of the comma. No clue how to fix it. Will have to wait for my computer savvy husband to get home.

My husband was recently let go from Sonic and he went through much the same thing. It seems like sometimes, if the manager doesn't like you, it doesn't matter how hard you work, you will never gain that person's approval. That isn't right, it isn't fair, and someone who can't put their personal feelings aside for an employee should not be in a management position. Be grateful that you are no longer working in such a crappy place and know that you are a better person. Now you know how it feels to be treated unfairly in the workplace, you will know not to make the same mistakes. The person/people that treated you poorly are most likely in a position that they will be stuck in for the rest of their lives because they don't know how to act professionaly.

Well I do agree with one part: Carhopping should be earned =/ The one i worked at we had to do everything BUT we helped each other though so they fail in that. The reason they make you do the other things first because if they get busy they dont want your ### just standing by the scanner instead of helping out.
But from everything else you said they should have talked to you first if they had a problem with you and should have helped instead of getting all pissed off because you was asking questions.

Sonic Drive-In extortion of our tips & illegal garnishing of our wages

when I started working at sonic I noticed my tips were not right. I started keeping my scans and the scans were a different amount that I owed than the computer was showing. the night manager called the program for help cause it was saying that all three carhops were short $90.00. but anyway, I had the manager to print out a scan chart of the i.d. #17, which I was that night and it totaled $404.00 but the computer showed $453.00 making me take $49.00 out of my tips when I knew it wasnt right. I went and talked to the owner he had all kinds of excuses saying maybe Im not a good carhop, or how can he believe the scan chart he only believes the computers total. this has been going on for a while and not just with me but the other carhops too. their young so they dont say much, but Im 43 years old and I do know better. we leave work sometimes with $3.00 and thats happened several times. if you dont pay him out of your tips he will take it out of your paycheck. and that is illegal. if you can help us in this matter please let me know. the owner isnt going to do anything about it. he told me that I was making him mad! I have my scan chart still if it would help. thanks for your time, tammy hatcher, [protected]

You should for sure call Sonic Corp, you can even call the Coke complaint line, all of those complaints are ran past your market leader and RVP. I'm sure they will be contacting the store manager, supervisor, and maybe the owner.

Sonic Drive-In store manager's girl friend miss treating all employes

How do you go about getting a store managers girl friend to quit or terminate her because our store manager will not and is always fighting with his girl at work and it is messing up the company. We have lost many of great people that have quiet because she walks around miss treating other's talking down to other's like if she is in charge. And she has walked out atleast 3-4 times during happy hour and lunch rush hour because of them fighting all the time. She walks into the store take in mind she is not a manager and always eyeballs people and instigates things between people and when an employee confronts her about it she denies everything. And then the store managers gets her side real quick maken him self look really bad because of natural reaction of her being his girl friend. We do not want to lose are store Manager he has worked his ### of for this store but she needs to go she has another job but still wants to stay here she also gets very jealous when a nice young girl turns in an app for hierment and puts them down and doesnt even know them.

Sonic Drive-In poor treatment of employees

i work at the sonic drive in oak ridge, tn. i am totally amazed that the restaurant even makes money the way people act there. the head manager is always flirting with underage employees which he hires too many of just so he can have some eye candy at work. multiple employees use drugs. one of the carhops is on heroin, a cook is a pillhead and steals boxes of food and items from other employees, and others come to work drunk or intoxicated on various controlled substances almost a daily basis. one assistant manager got her promotion by sleeping with the head manager, and strangely gets paid more then the other managers even though she can do less and only works weekends. the store is only cleaned up when we know that a health inspector or the head manager are coming in. if they came by right now, the store would be shut down. the flirtatious head manager is not only a total perv, but he is a cheapskate as well. we totally ignore hold times (a hold time being the amount of time food can sit out before we are supposed to throw it away) for anything we sell, so everything you order is probably been sitting out all day long. i guess to put this cheapness into perspective, the man is so cheap he won't allow us to include forks with small orders. only the large orders get forks. the pricing was also a bit screwy (and was unknown to the customers), but there were certain items that you were charged more for a small order than you were for a large order. although, i believe my biggest complaint started today. from what i have been told, it is illegal to change employee schedules with out notifying the employee of the change. i was supposed to be at work today. although i was unaware of this fact, seeing as no one told me about it. i woke up to one voicemail saying that he changed the schedule and another 40 minutes later telling me i was a "no call no show". so, im pretty sure im about to lose my job for not showing up on a day i wasn't told i was supposed to be there. im also pretty sure that im going to be calling my lawyer soon as well. something needs to change, and it needs to change immediately. i have been reading other customer's complaints and such, and it seems that these problems are infecting the sonic corporation as a whole. they do a halfway decent way of managing the company itself, but the individual "partnership" restaurants are not even almost held within the same standards. just because a restaurant is franchised does not mean it should not operate differently then the corporation itself. so, join with me America. stand up and fight. they say the customer is always right, but don't do a thing to change it. we can not sit idly by and let these people defecate on the products we love, and just expect us to deal with it. fight back! its the only thing we can do, seeing as we have that beautiful freedom. im going to do my part to make sonic think about how much their customers and employees actually do matter. but, we have to wake them up. we have to let them know that these behaviors and actions are not right (or safe) for the customers and the poor souls that have to work for them. just remember America, they want your money. its how they survive and operate. but, it IS your money, and you get a say in the services rendered for your hard earned cash. so demand change! its ultimately up to you, the customer, to tell them what you do and don't want. always expect better things, and refuse to pay for less.

SONIC is a great place to work at If you are sleeping with the managers son or part of their family. I worked at sonic for almost a year and the manager had me working over 40hours while I was pregnant, I missed almost all of my doctors appoinments, when I told her I needed a day off she just said you dont come in dont bother coming back at all. I have also seen other carhops been mistreated and even judged because of their race. No idea why this Sonic is even open still it has the lowest ratings in everything . Im not saying Sonic suck, but I really think they should change the main manager she even said that the only reason why she even became manager is because she has been working there for so many years.

ok enough sarcasm. I know what you are referring to. I actually work at the Sonic in White House, TN... They have SOME of the same problems. We got rid of the people using the drugs and our GM doesn't flirt with the employees, but... we do have a problem with the scheduling and with the management team. Half of the managers (3/6) are related. a mother and two daughters. The oldest daughter is the GM, mother is co-manager and younger daughter is an assistant like myself... and the youngest daughter has 2 sons working there as well... This in its self is a problem. We have too much family working there. Anyways back to the topic at hand... Scheduling. The GM is allowed to make schedule changes, but according to the US DOL, they are required to give at least 24 hours notice to the employee whose schedule they are changing (and yes this applies for the state of TN DOL as well). If you have a lawyer I would recommend using him/her.

Sonic Drive-In various

I am currently employed at one of the two Sonic Drive In stores in Florence, Alabama. For the past two weeks, our system has been having trouble. The Boom Foods HelpDesk told us they could fix it, and ended up making us take orders by hand for two or three days, and on the fourth day it messed up again. On the forth day, the Boom Foods HelpDesk told us it would take 15 minutes, so that's what we told customers. After 45 minutes, customers were getting agitated. HelpDesk told us to restart the POV and we'd be fine, and the guy hung up. Well, it didn't fix anything, and he ignored our calls for the rest of the night. A manager ended up getting it to work by messing with it for a while.

On top of this, and why I'm posting all of this, today is payday. They aren't giving us our checks. They're in the process of switching to paycards instead of checks. Boom Foods LLC has made it so difficult to effectively run Sonic. We're losing business, customers aren't coming back, workers aren't coming back. I am so disappointed as a Sonic employee I'm considering quitting myself.

Sonic Drive-In Dripping in Sauce

Their food is usually dripping is sauce. Tonight I asked for a grilled chicken wrap without the ranch dressing. I went and got hired at sonic in cleveland Oklahoma 74020 zip code and I got a virus witch would not let me work one day 24 hours is what doctor nurse said to me on the phone .that's the first thing since than the store is never ready for the next shift and always borrowing things from surrounding stores .two every time I would walk a Mike and be there early the manager would send me home . I wanted the job to pay my Bill's because no one else will. I don't care about how Heather or who ever runs that store but I have called so many times that when they see it's my number it like I'm dealing with children they do not answer. I just want my last check posted as soon as I can have it .due to this I do have it where I can price everything in this complaint. I would work for sonic again but not corpate if this is how it's run.

I agree with the manager from central Tennessee. The car hops don't get paid enough to do what they do. I worked at the one in Knoxville, Tennessee and both Regina Weaver and Heather (Manager, & Assistant Manager) were both very rude to me. There is no reason to scream at a person for doing their job. But he's right they don't get paid anything. My checks were always under 250. Never have I gotten a check from them that was good. I left for the reason of the screaming. I have worked at 3 different sonics in my lifetime and I will never work at one again. The stores are nothing but a bunch of pot heads that don't know what their doing and have no customer service skills at all. The only one that I liked was On North Kentucky Street in Kingston Tennessee. They had the best employees and the best managers. But once again never will I work for another sonic.

i recently was hired on at the Chautauqua store in Norman OK and so was my friend bre. the night manager was very condescending and rude every night. i quit after a week. the operating manager gorge never called me back about a question regarding my pay for one of the nights i worked. i went in on pay day and my pay check wasn't there. the manager Rachel said she didn't know where it was and it depended on my last name for when the checks come. well my last name starts with an A. i should be the first one to get my check. my friends last name was a W and she only worked 3 hours and got her check. the reason she quit was because the manager Rachel said gorge doesn't train and i don't have the patience to. and left her all alone on the switchboard by herself she has never worked at sonic a day in her life! but what really pisses me off is people depend on their check to pay bills and support their families! and i complained to corporate and they said it will take 24 to 48hrs to have someone call me back. well that's not going to pay my bills either. thanks for screwing your employees sonic! and your food isn't that great either. there are way too many choices on your menu. makes it way to complicated for the employee and the customer.

I do have to agree with the young man. I am an assistant manager for a Sonic in Central Tennessee. I have been employed with SRI for 11 years and counting and only make $7.50 (.25 cents over minimum wage). The car-hops had their pay reduced to $3.19 at the beginning of the year and truthfully, it isn't fare. One, because they are busting their rear ends to get the food out in an ungodly amount of time... (3:30 Max) and Two, not all customers that come to the drive-in tip so the car-hops are not meeting the full minimum wage requirements set forth by the Dept of Labors FSLA. Also, Let me ask you a question, would you break your back and hustle trying to beat the clock if you were only making 3.19/hr.? SRI has always been crooked and conniving. Everybody from the GM's up to the New CEO Mr. Omar Juanan is money hungry. I have never seen a bonus in my life, even though I hear that I am eligible to receive them. On top of never receiving a raise or a bonus, the payroll office rarely gets my paychecks right and I only receive half of what is owed to me. Before you begin calling people stupid and accusing them of being angry at the world, remember that a complaint is a complaint and not all people communicate the same. I hope neither of you are managers, cause I would not have you on my team if that's how you handle complaints.

Sonic Drive-In carhops

I'm sick of hearing complaints about carhops asking if the customer wants change. These people work for $3.50 an hour ever since SONIC decided they couldn't afford to pay servers. Someone said they won't tip for a carhop to walk 10 feet to deliver them food. Well, why don't you get off your fat ### and walk for it yourself, you lazy loser?!? I worked for Sonic when they still paid minimum wage, and we were always surprised to get tips. Now, these people depend on it, because SONIC CORP. if sofa king cheap! For any of you carhops that read this, I STRONGLY recommend that you start bringing your own bottles of "WATER" to work and carrying them on you. When you can tell that someone's not going to tip you, and I know that you can tell...Pour the "WATER" in their food. Just make sure you piss in the bottle first!

You fat, lazy idiots! Get out of your air conditioned car and WALK to get some food. I swear that EVERYONE in this country is too obese to be allowed to live!

Sonic Drive-In the way he was dressed

Dear sirs, on Friday June 11, 2010, at approximately 8:40 P.M., Ihad the privledge of stopping and partonizeing your store in Hesston KS. I was very impressed with the layout of the building, it was neat and clean. But, my impression quickly changed when I pulled around to the drive up window and was greeted by a young man with tattoos and a large prodruding studded lip ring sticking out of his lower lip. Not only did I loose my apetite, he also scared my young children that were with me in the car.
Is this the corporate image that you are trying to establish? I would rather not expose my family to freeks when I take them out to eat at a family restaurant. I understand the importance of corporate image and I wanted to bring this matter to your attention so that it can be dealt with in a swift and immediate manner.
Gkod knows how many customers are turned away by this freekish sight greeting them at the drive up window.
I would appreciate a response from you concerning this matter.

I work at Sonic. I am a car hop and i have lots of tattoos on my arm. Sonic does not discriminate against people with tattoos as long as they are not vulgar. Also you are not allowed to have piercings except for studs in the ears. Some employers make exceptions, as long as a person is doing their job, you shouldn't be so rude. You know the saying "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover" ? You seriously do not know what type of person they are just by looking at them. If your kids are afraid, maybe you need to teach your children that there's people out there that have tattoos and piercings and that these people are not to be feared its just a way of expressing themselves.

I am a sonic employee. As it stands, we do have certain procedures that keep individuals employed by Sonic Drive In to uphold certain precautionary standards while working within the job site. You are correct to say he should not have had any facial piercings but I find your demeanor about his tattoos and "freakish" ways...well quite frankly, repulsive. With in this time and age we all have the ability to express our self how we chose. As long as the tattoos were not vulgar, racist or inappropriate there should not have been a problem. The only problem I see here MR. MOISER, is a overly self righteous man who has kids and an email that proclaims him to be a "FLYBOY"...very nice by the way. I hope you understand that kids learn the world through their parents eyes. If they were afraid it was because you taught them to be. Learned behaviors...nature and nurture...so many theories but if I were you id start worrying about looking inward instead-of outward at other people. Last but not least, I see you appreciated Sonics fine establishments. I did not hear a complaint about their speed of service, quality or the comprehension and clarity in which he took and gave out your order. Therefore they must be doing something right. I tip my hat to you sir and have a good day

You're the uppity ### who acts like she's never had sex because its bad, but has two kids, aren't ya? If the kid was nice, who cares what he looks like. Can't even spell freak, ha. the "freek" at the window is probably smarter and nicer than you.

Please shut the ### up ### about tattoos and piercings. This isn't the 1920's anymore, its 2010. Times have changed, and so have styles/genres. Just because people have tattoos and other 'body modifications' doesn't make them a bad person or anything. I'm sure people who see you at your job(if you have one) may or may not be different from you. Maybe you're fat, and they're not? Maybe you're bald, or balding? Maybe you're short, or have a skin disorder? There's nothing wrong with any of the above, but if you fall into one of these categories, how the ### would you like it for someone to call you a 'freak'? I don't understand how some of you ignorant, small minded ###s can be so judgmental.

For the record, I have no tattoos or piercings.

Sonic Drive-In horrible service

I went to my local Sonic here in Mocksville, NC today. It used to be a hell of a good restuarant, with great service and a good manager. On several occasions he came out and sat with me and my children on the patio area and chatted with us while we ate. He even came out and gave my kids some free ice cream cones one day for being regular customers.

I have been back several times since he left, all with horrid results. I understand a new manager has to take time to get new people in and trained up, etc etc...but this is rediculous. I don't see how they get by a health inspection.

Every time I pull up, the trash cans are overflowing, there is some kind of residue on the menus, and spiderwebs on all of the menus. The dumpster area is always wide open and you can smell the stench of rotten food from your car. The new manager has apparently fired all of the previous staff because I now see no familier faces. Instead of my usual polite and friendly server, I am met either with a clearly drugged up homosexual male on skates, or a girl that looks like she just got done doing something naughty in the bathroom.

Every time I order, it takes almost 20 minutes to get my order. I remember on one occasion the previous manager had my order done and at my vehicle BEFORE they got done talking to me. I didn't even know I was done ordering by the time it was there. Now, I order ONE drink. ONE. And it takes 20 minutes. Rediculous.

But back to todays event. I pull up and notice 3 employees sitting behind the building. At first I thought they were taking a smoke break. Then I smelled it. Like a fog, the dense smell of marijuana rolled into my window. I ignored this, as I honestly didn't know what to do about the situation and pulled into a parking spot near the front of the building. We now eat in our car, as the tables on the patio are always covered in gum, ketchup, etc.

I press the button to order my food, and I get no response. Figuring the button is broken, I move to a different stall. Trying again, and once again no response. At this point I get out of my car and go inside the front doors. There is nobody there. NOBODY. I say "Excuse me!" several times, with no response. Finally I got aggravated and left. As I pulled out, I saw the same three employees, one of which was wearing an embroidered shirt (I can only assume she is the new manager) finishing up their "smoke" break. One of them was talking to someone parked near the back of the building, so I am assuming they are selling what they are smoking.

Needless to say, I WILL NOT be back to this restuarant. EVER. And I hope this complaint makes it to every other person in my county. And if the old manager ever reads this, I want him to know I appreciate his hard work and great customer service. Any business would be lucky to have him.

Another instance of your teenage wisdom.

#1 A sixth grader noticed before you that I am not a woman.
#2 You are unable to file charges against an adult, your guardians would have to do that for you.

And I would love to see you defend yourself. Luckily for you I live about 2, 000 miles away from you. However, the internet has no care for distance and I am intelligent enough to find out everything about you and completely destroy your life as you know it. You are not old enough yet to understand the importance of credit, or your identity. You also have not discovered how brutally your home computer can be mauled with the correct information in hand. Keep running your mouth.

I will admit that I would like to come to Finlayson, Minnesota and whip your tail like the ignorant brat that you are. I hope for your sake that you have your identity and your computer IP well protected. Otherwise, your life is about to get a lot less enjoyable.

Ok. We can continue this drama for all time if you wish, but I will not be outspoken. So far I am ignoring your "bad, ungrateful mother" crap because it has no bearing whatsoever on my initial complaint. I will however be happy to further assist you in your grammer faults.

"You are a bad ungrateful mother.**(two spaces)****(Too)** bad your children are learning from you. People are entitled to breaks **(remove "you know")**. What a horrible household you must have. I bet your children are ashamed of you. **(remove "Also Stupid, )** I posted "letter" instead of complaint, and **(remove "idiot") this is a letter.**(two spaces)** You are not a very smart person are you**(?)**

In response to the above post, People are entitled to breaks in the event they work more than 4 hours in my home state. However, marijuana is not legal, nor is it decriminalized in my state for medical use. Therefor, the employees are breaking the law.

I am aware that you posted "letter" instead of complaint, and I corrected your error. The very URL of this site is complaintsboard.com. A letter is written to an individual, or multiple individuals that are named in a "CC" format. This complaint was not directed at an individual person, therefor it is not a letter. As far as my personal intelligence, I am afraid you are mistaken. I have an IQ of 164, which is Mensa level (assuming you even know what that is without googling it). I also attending VPI for a period of 6 years and graduated with a Master's Degree in business management. Should we correct your second post?

That two spaces thing is outd**(a)**ted**(, )** so you just made yourself look like an ###. One who can neither spell nor read. B**(remove space)**ut I guess you were raised to be an ###, and are raising your children the same.

I don't know at which point in your teenage life you decided to re-write the rules of proper grammer, but the "two spaces" thing is not outdated. It is proper. The only person who looks like an ### here is you. I will raise my children as I see fit. Apparently your parents didn't do too good of a job themselves.

@BlackIrishTeen

Wow, you found one incorrectly spelled word in my entire post. Congratulations, perhaps you should get a job as a spellchecker. Oh wait, computers do that for you...which is probably the only reason you got as far as you have in school. Unfortunately for you, computers do not check grammer. So let me fix your errors for you. "You are setting a bad example *(FOR)* your children.**(Two spaces)** People are entitled to breaks. I feel sorry for your children. **(In addition)****(, )** **(it would be in my opinion that)** your children know how to spell "ridiculous"**(.)****(Two spaces)**Why did you not ask them to check your **(complaint)** for spelling **(errors)**.

As you can see, in your short four lines of text, you made nine grammatical errors. Compare this to my one error (which could have easily been avoided should I feel the need to use a computer to supplement my own intelligence) in forty five lines of text. Rationally, any intelligent human being would be able to see who the more well educated person here is. Keep your ignorant teenage wisdom to yourself, and the world will be a better place.

Most certified typing tests require two spaces after punctuation. That being said Irish never has anything worthwhile to contribute to this site so pay her no mind. She only offers juvenile responses that include how bad of a mother a person is or that they are merely a disgruntled worker. Zachary is correct she will be banned again.

I am not certain how I am missing that this is in letter form. It is not addressed to any specific person, nor does it include the usual closing that a letter would include. Thankfully this complaint includes actual paragraphs thereby making it easy to read compared to many of the other complaints that go on and on without any break in supporting information.

P.S. He said his I.Q. is 164, not 162.

Sonic Drive-In roach infested sandwich

We ordered a chicken club sandwich and found a cockroach in it, unfortunately my wife had partially eaten it before discovery. The supposed owner of this franchise (Jim Baird) was rude and verbally abusive when contacted. Please avoid the Sonic at 306 W. Covell in Edmond, OK. Cleanliness is obviously an issue with this Sonic.

Sometimes you aren't in a position to go back to the restaurant, even under the worst of conditions. I once ordered two burgers and a soda at another fast food franchise after leaving a doctor's office across town from my employer. I get back to work, hit my desk, open my bag to find that both sandwiches had cheese which I had emphasized I did not want not once but twice (I am lactose intolerant) and my soda was supposed to be diet but was regular (I have diabetic issues as well). So, in essence, I had no lunch and was out over $5.00. I also couldn't leave work to travel 20 minutes back across town. When I called the restaurant, they asked that I bring everything back and they would make it right. When I explained the situation, they told me they didn't give credits or rain checks. I was so very tempted to take the food out, leave it in my hot car in the sun then take it back that evening but it wasn't worth the effort or spite...instead I told all of my friends, changed my facebook status for a day to recommend avoiding that restaurant, and twittered it to everyone on my list. Within six months the local franchise of that chain was completely closed. As a former restaurant manager I realize that everyone makes mistakes, but no matter where you work it is your job to give the customer what they have purchased, with reasonable expectations of cleanliness and appropriate temperature. If you don't you aren't doing your job and you don't need to be in it. Just my two cents.

Sonic Drive-In unprofesssinal staff

I was hired on at Sonic as a fountain person. When I arrived I was not trained on anything and the guy that was supposed to be training me was very unprofessional. He was using profanity the whole time and everything he was trying to explain to me was wrong. I was not even trained and he expected me to get everything the first time. He was very rude. He started throwing things and this was my first night on the job and he expected me to already know the job without even having Sonic experience. I never experienced nothing like this. Also other empolyees that work there were very bossy and rude with no respect. I was put ont he schedule only two nights a weeek and those nights made to go home after only being there two hours. I called in sick one day and was fired because the rude manager said I only work two nights a week which was not my fault and I am not dependable. This action was unacceptable because you do not fire a person for being sick. I will report her to the Dept. of Labor. Also the manager needs to be terminated.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. I was fired after 2 months of working there because " I didn't have the right personality for the job and wasn't catching on fast enough" I was never trained and only learned how to do drive thru. I really hope all sonics aren't managed this way. They only make up things to fire you just because they don't like you.
