I have been a long time loyal company of Steak ‘n Shake and absolutely love this restaurant. However, this week I had an experience that was deeply disturbing. I used my lunch hour to go through the drive thru (which is extremely slow but well worth the wait). I bring my burger back to work to eat at my desk and find that one of the patties is extremely undercooked to the point that it made me uncomfortable to eat. I was forced to throw it away ain't with the $7 I spent on the meal. This type of incident is something that prevent me from returning even as a lifelong customer.

I had finished my drink which was a Coke and I opened my cup to eat the ice and there was a piece of paper in my cup😮 looked like a part of someone's receit this is ridiculous. I stopped going to the one on prospect because I was given rude service every time and was served a raw hamburger and now I got to stop going here man this is crazy people can get sick well I am not returning here either and it's sad cause I met 2 employees that you have that is the sweetest and your employee Micheal Jefferson does not listen to customers when he is on drive thru and he looks a mess I hope things change here I really like steak and shake

We arrived at about 1:30 pm waited up front for about 5 minutes and wasnt even acknowledged so we sat ourselves waited at staff kept walking by finally asked for service and got cussed at because we sat ourselves.i know this is not the way you want to run a business and I don't appreciate being cussed at as a consumer. I will never walk into this place again unless your company makes sure these two are fired I know one was named Frankie and the other was a short chubby woman she actually is the one that cussed us out for sitting down Frankie was just a major smart [censored] and also the manager had no care in the world. So hopefully something gives and I may return to this business someday but for now there is no way I will return

I went to the steak and shake on 7/17/19 at 7:40pm. Sat at the ordering spot with only one car in front of me at the pickup window. No one ever said to go ahead and order. After 15 minutes and the car in front of me leaving I drive to the pickup window. No one manning the window and the woman I assumed was supposed to be manning the window is over in the corner looking as if she is texting on her phone. I drove away and went to another restaurant. I'm at this location (North St Rd 7 in Coral Springs Fl) at least once a week. I know it takes forever but this was ridiculous that I wasn't even acknowledged. Don't know if I will be back or anyone that asks my opinion of steak and shake will be back

We stopped in At the Antioch Tennessee store on our way out of town and ordered 3 Frisco Burger Combos, Cookies and Cream Shake, a Oreo Mint Shake And a Coke. We get back on the highway to find out we have the wrong order. The thing that was right on the order was the Coke. The drive thru attendant repeated our order back to us to confirm the order. The turn around time set us back an hour and a half. The manager fixed the order. The Drive thru attendant that took our order was rude and acted like she did not want to be there. The Drive thru attendant was named Braja and her people skills need adjusting. My family eats at your Restaurants a lot. I spent $23 dollars on this visit. Will not frequent that location again. A Refund or a Gift card or some type of restitution would be appreciated

We ordered delivery for a treat. Thankfully my grandson's meal was good. Mine wasn't. I bit into a hard nasty patty. I didn't want to spoil it since it was his idea. It was horrible. I opened the bun to find a small, thin burnt piece of meat. It looked like they took 1/2 a patty, flattened it as much as possible to be larger than it was. It was about 2/3 of the size it should be and thin as a piece of paper, and cooked to the consistency of beef jerky. We always enjoy steak n shake; so I was very shocked. The store is located on Mt.Zion Pkwy in Jonesboro, GA. I just thought they should be aware.

My husband and I and another couple went to steak n shake for supper tonight. It took almost an hour for us to get our orders which were not correct. Our milkshakes had to be made to go because they never brought them out, none of the milkshakes were correct, my husband didn't get his onion rings at all so we told them to take them off our bill. Our friends had the same issues. They were not that busy when we were there. We go there quite a lot but I am not sure after this if we will again.

After some recent visits to the port orange location in daytona beach i will not be returning ' we have visired this location for 15 years and sadly now is so disgusting i wouldnt eat there again ! ' the place was filthy ' food and debris under cabinets and chairs ' tables smeary and sticky 'floor looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a week ' i understand people drop food ' but this was in cooking area and kitchen too ' def ground for rats ! Ughhh

My boyfriend and I visited your Machesny Park Illinois location on 7/12. This was my very first time ever. I must say I was very very disappointed! I ordered a milk shake that was very good. But I specifically ordered it with no whipped cream, and it arrived with a lot of whipped cream on it! But we ordered our food, he ordered the butter burger and I order the bbq bacon burger. Well, we waited and waited, as we watched people that came in after is, not only get their good but finish and leave. And we watched 5 waitresses walk past the pick up window and pay ZERO attention to the food sitting there! We were finally able to get our waitress to come over. We asked about our food and she informed us that the ticket NEVER went in. and our food had not even been started! She then told us that she ordered it and they put a rush on it! So, I'm sure you can tell that I won't be going back there any time soon! What A awful experience! The food itself was OK, not the best by any means. Called in order. They said it would be ready when we got their at 11:15 . Then we get their at 12 and we had to wait 30 minutes on the order to even get to the window. Employee said their was a big group inside but nobody was inside at all. Fries cold. Cooks wasn't wearing gloves. Just Awful. I just worked a 10 hour shift. And then had to wait in drive thru for over 30 mins. This is completly ridiculous. I'm a manager at dq so I know how the fast food industry is.
