unethical, irresponsible, illegal driver behavior
At 1226 today, July 11, 2017 the UPS driver assigned to deliver on McAlpine Lane, Charlotte, NC 29212 was observed, ONCE AGAIN, driving recklessly (speeding in excess of posted 25mph limit) as he was exiting our neighborhood. He has been observed many times driving recklessly. We have a large number of small children on our street and in Fox Hollow. McAlpine Ln., at the end, is a cul-de-sac. Typically, our street is quiet. This driver revives up his engine when he starts to move and guns it all the way down the street to his next stop. If he has no other stops, he travels at a reckless speed until he gets to Hickory Grove Rd which is 35mph. We have issues of UPS drivers speeding in the past. I have notified CMPD and if necessary we will have a radar unit posted to deter this kind of reckless behavior.
driver complaint
Date: 7/11/2017
Client # 49W368
Driver: Terrell Davis- Vicksburg, MS
Incident:This driver on more than one occasion entered a restricted area without approval. Today he came into my personal office unannounced without approval. I attached a photo of the sign on the door that he came through. When I told him that he was in a restricted area, he smarted off and said that he could just take the packages back. He has a very bad attitude. He had also left a package valued at $97, 200 outside . I am an owner. On a previous occasion, he smarted off to the operations manager.
Resolution: Please assign Mr. Davis to another route. I would not want contact with anyone with such a bad attitude.
Thanks and call if you have any further questions,
Butch Nasif

delivery
My aunt delivered a package to me from Florida to Burlington, Ontario, Canada expected to arrive June 22. After realizing it never came a couple days after, I tracked its shipment using the ID and it said it was "delivered at my door". I live in an apartment building, and we don't accept parcels, so usually they leave a notice for pickup or reschedule. But there was no sign of a note. I emailed the shipper and they began the investigation into the lost package. On June 30, I received a notice on my door (I don't know how the UPS guy got past the lobby) saying "Trying to resolve package delivery." I used the info notice to call customer service and schedule a pick-up at the parcel pickup location in Hamilton, Ontario. All seemed well since the lady on the phone said it would be available for pickup the next day (that must mean they found the package, right?!) WRONG. I showed up at the parcel place and they said it had been claimed as lost, and implied someone must have stole my package from my door. WHAT? Why would they deliver a package without having me sign it, or with a notice? When was this package actually lost? I'm so confused. Incompetence all around. Never trusting UPS to deliver a package again.
delivery
On 6/2/2017 UPS attempted to delivery a package to a business at 4:58 pm (business hours close at 5pm...this is cutting it close). The business was closed on 6/2 when the package was delivered- the package was scanned morning of 6/5 at 6:30 am, but was never delivered. I called to have package held at Elm Grove location so I could pick it up. I received a call around 8pm on 6/5 noting they will set aside package. I went to Elm Grove location and sat there for 45 minutes while JoAnn tried to locate my package. Notes on the package said that it was a fall out and the box was discarded. This is insane, since this was a 67 lb copper kitchen sink in a wooden crate that was screwed together. How is it even possible to lose this? In my opinion, the delivery driver stole the sink and put the crate back together - I would like to know if this has been investigated yet. Now, since UPS has lost this package, they are putting me and the shipper through hell trying to fill out all this paperwork and figure out how to file a claim. UPS made a mistake, and they should be held reliable to fix that mistake. I will never use UPS again, and the person I bought the sink from will no longer use UPS either. This has been a terrible experience for both me and the shipper. JoAnn has also been non-responsive. For a person in a management role, this is pathetic. I would like a person in a leadership role to contact me and let me know if they have investigated a theft and who put the notes on the document saying it was a "fallout" and the box was discarded. My number is [protected] and my e-mail is nicole.[protected]@yahoo.com. I will be writing reviews all over detailing my experience.
lost my 10 iphone 6
UPS lost or damange 10 units of my iPhone 6 64GB it cost me around $4, 000 but they paid only $1, 000 which it is totally unfair and they ripped my business apart by doing that . the bring out some sort of hidden terms which explains if you drop off your item at their store they pay only $1, 000 which makes no sense . I highly recommend to not use their service they show that gives you big discount but it seems to me fake.
Thanks

ups using usps for last point of delivery.
I just finished a survey for UPS, but was unable to leave a comment at the end of it. So I'll leave it here in hopes that it will help in the way of better service. Using USPS for the last point of delivery is fine, IF, the package gets to the Post Office early in the morning, BEFORE the carriers goes out on their route, otherwise it goes out the next day. UNLESS, , , its a late Friday evening at the UPS location in your area... My case is as follows, I tracked an ordered I placed on Tuesday 6 June 2017. It shipped UPS on 7th, and arrived at the UPS distribution center less than 6 miles from my town late Friday evening on the 9th, and because of the weekend, it was not given to my local Post Office until Monday, 12th, long after the carrier had left. so, I ended up getting it on the 13th in the afternoon. SO, the package, (12 golf balls), traveled over 1500 miles in just two days. Then could not make the last 6 miles for 4 days! Pony Express was more efficient!
shipping
I went into the ups store that is located on S. Mlk blvd in Lansing, MI 48910 I needed to return an item to a store that I did not want. The company gave me a pre address paid postage label to return to them. I gave the lady the box along with the label and the invoice. Instead of her paying attention to what she was doing she was so busy chatting with her co worker that there was a mix up so instead of the product being shipped off to the store it was returned to my home almost 2 weeks later. So I go back to that same Ups store and explained what happened. The same lady that screwed up the return in the first place takes the package and says" oh the label is wrong I guess I didn't pay attention" then she tells me that I need to pay 12$ to send the product back the reason I'm upset is that after the initial transaction I specifically asked for a tracking number and she tells me that I do not need one Wow thanks alot for the crappy experience so now I will just try another carrier and I definitely will let people know that If you want your packages returned when you needed them too DO NOT GO TO THE UPS on 3105 S. MLK Jr. BLVD Lansing, MI

delivery to a business
Business name is Farmer's Implement Store
719 Ridge Rd.
Mineral Point, Wi. 53565
UPS shipper number is 57582.
We used to receive deliveries at 10:00 A.M. daily. Since UPS decided to go to pre programmed delivery routes for their drivers, our deliveries have varied from 11:00 A.M. to as late as 2:15 P.M.
This is unacceptable. We are a business and our customers as well as our mechanics are waiting for these deliveries.
The drivers have told us that the computer tells them to deliver in residential areas before they deliver here. This morning (6-20-17) I saw the truck drive by at 9:40 A.M. headed out of town. It is now 11:15 A.M. and we are still waiting for the truck to deliver.
There must be a way that the driver can deliver the first time they drive by in the morning.
We are also a pick up location in the afternoon. We are supposed to get picked up after 4:30 P.M. The last few days the pick up has been as early as 3:00. This also needs to be addressed since we are open until 5:00 and have customers dropping off shipments after the truck has picked up.
delivery
was suppose to get a package 1Z2FW1330329899615 on Tuesday the 20th got a update saying would be a early delivery on Monday instead waited all day and nothing. called and they said no it would still be tomorrow for some reason. Bakersfield has had this since Friday evening should have been out today no excuse. you have terrible service. now I get to sit all day tomorrow
scanning documents to email costs
I went to UPS on 680 Main Street in Walpole, MA. I went in there to scan some documents to email and they charged 26 dollars for the first 20 pages and then a dollar a page after... for a document that I used no paper and no ink and had it emailed they charged more for that service than for me to print the actual document.
They said it would cost me like 18 cents a page if i printed it. It is highway robbery and i would never have scanned it if i thought it would cost more. I don't blame the worker but her boss who puts these prices out should be fired. These prices are outrageous and ridiculous and in the future people should be warned of these prices before scanning the docs. Never in my wildest dreams would i have thought it would have cost me so much! I WILL NEVER GO TO UPS AGAIN, FEDEX IS WAY MORE UP TO DATE AND REASONABLE!
delivery
The Morning of June 13th I ordered a package through Amazon Prime with overnight shipping, to arrive on the 14th. The 14th... No Package. The 15th? No Package, even though tracking said it was to arrive by 3:00PM the 15th. I needed that item for the 15th so I could leave early on the 16th for a wedding reception. Further investigation with a UPS rep and through tracking info revealed that my package arrived at the linthicum MD Facility, then went to the sparks facility, also in MD the morning of the 15th, and was supposed to be out for delivery by 3:00PM. It never showed up, so I called customer service and the woman told me the last info she had on the package was that it was on the truck for delivery. I told her "OK so call the driver and tell him to get his [censor] over to my house with my package" She had no way to contact anyone to ask them to do their job and she was sorry. So, I am stuck, and I cannot wait for the package, I have to leave. I told the customer service rep that sorry does not do me any good, and I was sorry for her as she had such a [censor] job wherein she is helpless to do anything productive to help the customer except offer excuses. Once again I have run into gross incompetence. We have become a third world country of worthless crybabies that cannot do their jobs, and they need a "Safe Space" where their boss cannot chastise them. When I grew up the adage "Excuses are like [censor], everybody has one, and they all stink" was the law of the land. We were held to a higher standard, and that standard was expected from everyone. Now there is not even a standard bathroom for a standard man or standard woman. This is what you get when there are no mores, morals, or norms. It is also what you get when people are promoted not based on merit, but by their ethnic background, their gender, or any other superficial reason. If we do not wake up soon, this country will go down the drain like Venezuela, or South Africa which was ruined under the rule of Mandela 's socialism. I expect all GREAT COMPanies will go down under affirmative action, just like the military has.
I was struck by a ups truck and I haven't heard anything from the company!

overnight delivery from adp
I have ADP as my payroll processing company to which they use you as my delivery company. In as little as two months you have screwed my employees out of their paychecks three times. The first time, a driver delivered my payroll to my neighbors house! Luckily my neighbors were honest and sent it over the next day. A little late but I appreciated their honesty. The second time they never even picked up the payroll from ADP at all! 40 companies didn't get their payroll because of your service. The third time no one even came to drop off my payroll at all. No call, no show, nothing. No one was even going to call me and let me know my payroll wasn't even coming. I waited 8 hours for my paychecks and nothing! Thank God I finally called ADP and asked what was up. Then the CSR said it would be handled in 1-8 business days. No good. So I'm just supposed to wait to pay my people while you all get your head out of your butts! I then asked to speak with a supervisor who said one would call me back in 2 hours! Really? Your service is that bad and you don't even have a supervisor there? I will never ever use UPS again. I have already posted something to Facebook. I'll be reviewing your service to Google, the BBB, and anyone else who will take my complaint. Your company sucks!
package delivery and return
On May 23, 2017, I delivered a package to a UPS access point in Washington, D.C. [tracking number 1z6ra4579096122215] the package was scanned in and processed...it was to be delivered to an address in Casper, WY...the shipping label was old...and I didn't know at the time... that the company the package was going to... had moved...to KY...UPS delivered, then retrieved the package...to return to sender...to Stockton, CA ...{the manufacturer of the shipping label}...which is also no longer at that address in Stockton, CA..., in short, the package is now lost and UPS refused to take any responsibly for the mistake... Myself and the company that the package was going to have reached out to UPS to no relief or resolve
driver, customer service
I would like to file a complaint on a driver and on customer service I believe the drivers name is Merchant who works in the Newark location. On june first the driver rang my intercom didnt let me get to my intercom to respond when I looked out my window I saw the driver leave he left a notice stating I was not home. On the 2nd I called your customer service line I spoke to a representative who informed me my package would be attempted again for delivery she also indicated to me that the package could be left at the access point and I would be able to pick up before 6 pm that same day. Around noon I called again and spoke to another representative who indicated to me that someone called me and I didn't respond which I received no call nor message she told me that they would call me again within the next hour I never received a call. I went to 70 gould ave location and the gentlemen there told me I could come back at 8 pm to pick up the package I had also received a call confirming that my package would be available within 8 pm to 9 pm. My husband went to go pick up the package and he noticed that the driver left another slip stating I was not home again when I was he has waited over an hour at the access point and no one knows the whereabouts of the driver who has my Package I find that to be beyond unprofessional I don't feel that I should have gotten a run around. You should make sure that your drivers are doing there job properly and that your customer service representatives are giving the correct information. I am beyond disappointed and very aggrevated.
property damage
6/1/17 Driver delivered package and then must have backed over my main water line and broke it. There is no way he couldn't have heard the noise or felt the crash and it was clearly marked with two bright blue barrels. When the water pressure dropped on another part of the property I began to investigate and found the broken pipes and water everywhere. The driver was long gone. I was there on the property and he did not attempt to find me or tell me that this had happened or offer to have it repaired. I think this is very poor business and does not reflect well on UPS. Not only is my family without water, I have 80 horses on my ranch without water. I cannot find a repair person to come until tomorrow and I'm worried about the animals being without water for so long.
I would like UPS to pay for the repair.
continuous problems with deliveries
Hello,
We live at 1207 N Mar Vista Ave, Pasadena CA. 91104. My name is John Porter and my wife's name is Cynthia Betances (she also has an account with you as well). Last week we had another order placed at one of our neighbor's front porch instead of ours (TRK # 1Z2FW2350228070383). This has been a continuous problem for the last SEVERAL YEARS!
The last order was a large box, weighted at least 15-20 LBS, which I had to carry to our house. WE would like this to stop!
We have always thought that UPS drivers were the best in the business, and were very professional. This has really change our opinion of your company. We assume that you hire people who can read and check their orders and addresses before they deliver them (?).
Please let us know what steps you will take to address this problem.
Thank you,
John Porter

package not delivered
On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, I was expecting a package from JC Pennys. I was waiting on it so around 9 pm It hadn't been delivered so I checked my email and it says it was delivered at 7:40 p m. So I called UPS and they told me they would send a message to the driver and then in the morning he or she would go back to where they left the package. Someone would call me the next day. So on May 25 when no one called me I called back then someone tells me that it was too late for them to send a message to the driver to go back to where they left the package. For me to call back in the morning and then they could start and investigation. Instead of waiting on them on May 25 I put a claim in online. May 26 I called back someone tells me they see an investigation has been filed the same thing was told to me they couldn't get the driver to go back to where they left the package. I was then told I have to wait 6 days for the investigation would be done. I order some of the items for a special occasion now I want have get the items in time. If they don't find the package I have to call Pennys and reorder again and threes a possibility the items might be in stock All I want is the items I ordered and I think It could have been handle differently as soon as I called the driver should have been notified to retrieve the package then. Now I have to wait which is inconvenience me. All
everything they do, they do badly!
I have a 35-year long history of complaints about UPS. I dare you to try and call the local UPS terminal. If you were sneaky enough to get the number it won't be good long because they change their number frequently.
When UPS realized I had relatives with a business in town, they tried delivering my packages there. I had to make a 20 mile drive to their terminal and confront their management to stop it. Later, they started dropping my packages a mile away at the first house on the lane without knowing if they were friends or asking permission. It took another trip and an angrier confrontation with management to stop that.
Trucking/shipping is a 24/7 business. UPS has a bent for getting packages from shippers on Friday and warehousing them until Monday morning. It sat in the originating terminal all weekend when it should have been 1500 miles down the road and in your local terminal.
Why does FedEx and the US Postal Service deliver on Saturday and UPS won't? Why won't UPS extend the courtesy of ringing the doorbell when they drop a package and run, sometimes after dark?
UPS does not compare well to FedEx and the USPS for service by any measure. When they are at their best, they are mediocre!
