I waited a few days to write to you because I was so upset with the person I chatted with on Sunday, March 3, 2024. I ordered a Freshness Guaranteed Traditional Rotisserie Chicken, 36 oz (Hot) so my husband could go ahead and eat if he wanted to while I was busy outside fixing, cleaning, etc... My husband is disabled. He can no longer walk and has very little use of his right arm and shoulder. Ready to eat is important. We ordered a Traditional Rotisserie Chicken, 36 oz (Hot) and it was way undercooked and bloody. The customer service person or bot on the Walmart complaint chat wanted to issue us a $5 gift card and then a 10-dollar card. I was so upset and told it that the chicken and such cost more than that. I let it know that I had pictures to send and it didn't even want/or ask me to send them. I have never complained like this before to a corporate office. However, how many people ate chicken from the same batch and got sick? I told the chat person I felt they should refund the entire order for my stress, our trouble, and my having to go elsewhere so he would have something ready-made. It is just too dangerous for him to try and cook. With it getting late in the day before we discovered the bloody chicken, I had to stop and leave to get him something ready to eat that was already cooked. I do still have pictures and I am concerned about the person who thought that chicken was done.
Claimed loss: I would like a refund of the chicken and a bit more for our time and trouble. We think the desired outcome is fair. Please see below
Desired outcome: To have the entire order refunded. My husband was saying he is such a burden to me because he cannot make his food anymore.
