On 12/9/2021 buying gift cards to mail to grandchildren. Had eight; to register and was able to do 4 but not the other 4. Customer service rep assisted but still having problems. I came home with 5 with receipts for 5 but I had to call the visa card number to determine if they were active. 4 of the 5 were active. Took receipt and card not activated back to walmart in lafayette, ga. On the receipt it does show where 53.49 was refunded and the other 53.49 was supposed to been added to the card. The people at the walmart could not understand that it shows in the bank that the money was taken out of my checking account, but no money on the card. Basically, all of them called me a liar. They did not bother to check the overage that I am sure that was in the register's till for that day.

I was giving a Walmart gift card when i retired and it has been declined. I Never used the card...
I had a gift card from 2014 and decided to add it to my Walmart account and to I log on 10/3/2023 to order and see that someone in Tennesse used my gift card for gas fuel. I call Walmart they say I need to receipt and the physical card. Who tf had a receipt for a gift card that was given to me as a gift. I swear I feel like it is Walmart who is frauding people out of our gift card money.
I bought a gift card yesterday for a friend, gave him the numbers and Pin. He never used it. He checked on the balance and he wasn't able to find it out. They said the numbers and pin don't match! So I contacted Walmart and they said there is 0 balance on it.! No one used it! They investigated and said they can't give me a refund or a new card. That there is nothing they can do! That's $200 I lost! I'm pissed!
