Walmart refused to install a new tire

I went to the Tire center at Wal-mart in Bolivar MO to have 1 tire installed on the left rear of my 1998 toyota camry. It was to match the one on the right rear that my daughter had replaced 2 months earlier when she had a run flat out of town. They refused to put that size tire on the car (195/75/14) because the placard on the door says 195/70/14. Funny this is...I have had 7 195/75/14 tires put on that car in the last 7 years, by wal-mart. I just needed to match up the right rear that my daughter had put on 2 months earlier. I am sure that they couldnt put on the recommended tire because it wouldnt match the other 3. I suppose that they wanted me to purchase 4 tires when 1 needed replaced. I am done with wal-mart. Mostly because of the problems that I have had with the TLE on 5 or 6 occasions in the past 12 years.

Walmart rude cashiers

I have been going to this walmart since the first day it opened it's where I buy all of my groceries for my whole family and 9 times out of ten I get a rude cashier who does not even greet me does not smile and never says have a nice day . As much money as I spend there faithfully every week I would appreciate atleast a hi how are you or have a nice day instead of the feeling that I'm an inconvenience .If it doesn't change I will take my business elsewhere .

lol, I have to laugh ``Here We Go Again`` I was thinking to myself on the `would not install new tire´thread that you must be a Walmart employee and voila´there you are. You are a Walmart employee! Not a big surprise! Isn´t just like a Walmart employee to not give good service and then come on the net to act like you´re not an employee to take pot shots at those customers who have found fault and didn´t get satisfaction when they complained! Why don´t you take care of the complaint in the first place and quit blaming the customer!

My son recently witnessed a child being abused in walmart, wilkes barre pa. He approached the child abuser and warned that he would contact police. She of course became irate. He contacted police and while waiting for police to arrive, he remained in the same area as the abuser to ensure that he could point her out when police arrived. The abuser realized...

Walmart missing funds

I am livid and well that can not even describe how anger I am right now. I went to go check the balance on my card because 1. I need to pay my electric bill and 2. I needed to go to the store to pick up medication for my daughter. Knowing that I had a little over $2, 000 dollars on my card I still wanted to get an accurate amount just to be on the safe side due to the fact that I had checked my balance weeks ago and $300 dollars was missing from my card. I have called customer service several times and the bank who issues this card to figure out what happened to my funds. Guess what? Its been three weeks and they continue to say that they are working on solving the problem but nothing is getting solved. Anyways, called my card to find out the balance only for it to direct me to customer service and in which case did not get a hold of anyone. Went to the ATM to find out what my balance was at it stated to contact customer service. So, my fiancee got online and logged into my account and was by far the maddest person I have ever seen due to the fact that she also had money on my card and the balance was now reading only $0.45 cents. So, she went through all and I do mean all of the transactions that were supposed to have been made on this card. She pulled out the receipts because she keeps every one and I do mean every one. So, lets just say that this problem now needs to get resolved because here are the charges that were made on my card that I supposedly made but did not. Also, I only have a $300 dollar with drawl limit on my card and well you will see in the breakdown that on some days there was over $400.00 dollars with drawn. Its not possible. So here is the break down of the money that we are missing from my card.

The grand total that needs to be returned to my family is $2070.21
Yes, that may not be a lot of money to some but to a family of three who is struggling to live paycheck to paycheck that is a whole lot of money. Especially since we now can not pay our electric and our daughter can not get the medication that she needs. We would like to see either A) All FUNDS (including what is still on the card; we have the total for that too) refunded back to us in the form of a check and in our mailbox this week. or B) These funds be returned to the card so that we may withdraw them ourselves. In either case once we get our money we will be canceling this card. We hope that with this complaint and many more to follow that are funds will be returned to us without any hassle and we do have a lawyer on standby if need be. We just want our money and if we have to take these people to court than so be it but we will also be suing for pain and suffering as well for we will have no electric come tomorrow and my daughter is sick. So, hopefully someone will contact us back as soon as possible so that we may get our money returned to us. If not this will not be the last time you hear from us!

I had the same thing happened to me. My money was stolen as well and used to purchase things online. I haven't been able to get my money back from them either. They keep giving me the same type of run around. They just don't want to refund my money. I wouldn't recommend anyone use one of these cards. Somehow your card numbers are easily gotten and stolen.

Call the Police. File a theft report. All ATM transactions are video taped. The tapes will show who withdrew that money.

Walmart unfair business practice

Beware if this is your only money source. I noticed a charge online that I didn't make, called the merchant, found out someone used my card number. I immediately reported the card number as stolen. They said I would receive a new card in 7-10 business days. I said how am I supposed to access my money until then. They didn't know and apologized. They suggested I buy another temporary card and they would be able to transfer the balance that was on the stolen card to this temporary card but it would take 4 hours or the next day because this happened on a Friday. Activated the temporary card. Called the next morning. Said it would take 3 to 4 hours. Called later to check on balance transfer. They said it was against their policy to do that and we would have to wait 7-10 business days for the new card and then activate it and then the balance would be transferred. What? You are holding our money hostage for 7-10 days. What are we supposed to do in the meantime? Oh they apologized and they understand, but they don't have an answer. Can you believe they are holding our money hostage? We are being punished, not the person who used our card number. I want to file a complaint with the FTC, Attorney General, any lawyers interested? Please contact me asap. This is unreal. I thought the banks were unfair, but this takes the cake.

Walmart wal mart won't cash a money gram

I had a Wal Mart Money Gram mailed to me. It was purchased (with cash) by a friend of mine at Wal Mart in Nashua, NH on 5/4/2011. He, specifically asked if I would be able to cash it at the Wal Mart store in Palmyra, ME and he was assured that I could, indeed, cash it there. I received it on 562011. I tried to cash it at Wal Mart in Palmyra, ME. NO WAY! They called for a confirmation number and then wrote that number on the back of the money order. Then, they handed me this little printout that said the money order would not be cashed. I had to call a company called Certegy Check Services in Tampa, Fl to get the answer as to why the Money Gram couldn't be cashed. After a lengthy runaround, I asked to speak with a Supervisor. He told me that the Money Gram exceeded the amount they would authorize? The Money Gram was for $750.00 and he refused to tell me what the limit was. I asked why Wal Mart could sell a Money Gram that exceeded the amout that would be cashed. He said that every situation was different. Another total runaround. He suggested that I find a check cashing place and cash it there. That would have cost me upwards of $100.00. This is quite the scam Wal Mart and Money Gram have going on. Then, they use a third party check processor to isolate them from any liability. Wal Mart has the $750.00 cash - they took it, promising that the Money Gram could be cashed at any Wal Mart and then they sit back and let others do the dirty work. All the while that money sits in the Wal Mart coffers collecting interest. How many times per day does this happen? How much money is floating in their account because they won't released it? Any lawyers lurking on here? This could probably be a nice Class Action! Wal Mart and Money Gram have seen the last of my business!

Same here, can’t cash a $1,000. money order. Same run around. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy a MO thru Walmart-WesternUnion. This crappy Certegy, 3rd party [protected] is the worst, with all their bull excuses. Bottom line, Walmart & WesternUnion have lowered themselves to ripping off the people that pay their wages, us, the consumers. I’LL NEVER EVER PURCHASE OR ACCEPT A MONEY ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.

Im now forced to take it to wells fargo as that is the bank printed on this money order. DO NOT OFFER THIS SERVICE IF YOU CANT THEN GIVE BACK THE MONEY. shame on you walmart!

I'm having the same problem but to make it even more messed up is the fact that I am the one that purchased the money order and then did not need it but I don't have the receipt just the stub so I made it out to myself to cash it and they will not cash it. This is such a scam and I am so angry! They had no problem selling it to me but now will not allow me to cash it it's just wrong on every level possible

Ugh! Just happened to me - received $1000 moneygram from ex & went to Walmart to cash. After many I’d questions (had to take off mask to show face - give social security # - wait to verify if it had been too long for me to cash dated 11/4/2020 but just received yesterday...). It was declined & the customer service rep asked if I ever cash checks at Walmart - I told her no I gave bank account - she stated that was probably the reason! Needless to say I’m frustrated and rather upset. Don’t trust getting money orders-thought they were same as cash!

I having the same problem as well my mom got a Walmart MoneyGram money order for $400 at Walmart in Springville AL. When she got it they assured her that I would be able to cash it at the Walmart in Ohio where I live. I went to cash it the same thing happened to me it declined. They told me they we’re having problems with their system & I can come back the next day to try again. So I did go back the next day & the same thing happened. I think it absolutely ridiculous if you got a money order from Walmart you should be able to cash it at any Walmart. All you have to do is verify their ID to make sure it matches the name on the money order. I will definitely tell people from now on don’t ever get a moneygram from Walmart cause you won’t be able to cash it at any Walmart. I believe the cashiers that sell them don’t know if you can cash it at any Walmart. They are probably told to tell customers that just to make the sell...never again.

Same here. Walmart lady tried in vein to cash this MoneyGram check and up pops the receipt that has you call a toll free number "total waste of time and they know it" on the call they try and make it seem as if its just you and something wrong with your information just to go on and say the check will not be allowed to be cashed and to take it to a bank, if I wanted to deposit the check in my bank I would have. This is a huge scam that needs to end and a class action brought on to suit for monies time lost.

Rule of thumb, can't cash a money order from the same location it was bought from. I worked in customer service for Walmart. You have to go to a different store to cash it. Same thing with money grams.

I had my money order I purchased with the receipt and they wouldn't let me cash it. The reason I wanted to cash it was because the person I issued it to couldn't cash it at their wal mart.

Walmart deadly situation reported to them got me banned

On a thursday I reported with pics to walmart corporate that stacking 25lb bags of kitty litter 12 bags high was dangerously unstable and 300Lbs falling over could kill a child. I was told the matter would be adressed.
Friday 4pm I stopped back in and found a managers meeting at the now fixed pile of kitty litter and spoke with store managers.
Later at 10 pm I stopped in and found more safety stacking issues and took pics as I told corporate and the managers i would. I was told by security no photos and I told them I had spoken to corporate who asked for information on any safety issues I might find. We were then followed to our car by security but nothing more was said.
Saturday I stopped in and found 225lb stacked kitty litter and took a photo and after approchong the customer service desk and asking to have a manager look at the kitty litter stacking we left and as I sat in my car we were surrounded by police. I was searchedm and my car was searched and my girlfriend was questioned about "Drugs" and I was told that loss prevention had called The Union police saying I was taking photos of tools and had been banned fron the store the previous day and told not to return which had never happenned.
I am now looking for a Lawyer after being told by police that I would be arrested for trespassing if I returned to the Union NJ Walmart store. I even showed the police the photo of the dangerous pile I observed. Any Lawyer intrested in speaking with me can contact me at [protected]@yahoo.com

What are you people, 12?

Update by danielinnj
May 16, 2011 1:23 pm EDT

Just to Expand on my previous Posting and the responders:
WalMart was contacted at both the Local WalMart Store Management Level and the WalMart
Corporate Level Customer Service rep was concerned enough about their shoppers safety to provide
Me with information about and directed me to contact The WalMart District Manager for that store
which I have.

My only concern was in WalMarts uncoordinated effort to have someone who had just spoken with a
WalMart Store Customer Service Desk Member asking to speak again with The WalMart Store Manager
over this situation which been corrected and then re stacked in a 225Lb vertical stack without bags
being secured from cross-stacking each level and more evenly distributing the weight in a wider
footprint to lessen any potential danger to our neighbors immature children.

Never heard of a Stack Fall Issue?
These Parents will never forget theirs:
Abilene, TX, 1996 - A small child was killed when a wardrobe fell over at a Sam's Club.
Virginia Beach, VA, 1997 - A 2-year-old girl died of injuries received when a 100-pound
television set fell on her in a Wal-Mart.
Mount Laurel, NJ, 1997 - Boxes of vinyl siding fell at a Home Depot and struck 3-year-old Brandon
Ryan on the head. The chain agreed to pay his parents $500, 000.

As far as the uneducated simplification and comments related to a previously considered action on
12 counts of Malicious Prosecution against Those who have received multiple well documented
convictions for Harassment and Ordered to be supervised by the Probation Department for a year
along with Their having to submit to Court Ordered Psychiatric testing and any Ordered
Treatment I have to find it a bit disturbing that the focus is turned to the car I drive and a single sign.
I thought this board is here to report problems/safety issues which as you can see by the photos
I provided show a Reasonable and valid concern unrelated and not mentioned by me in trying to bring a valid safety
concern to the Attention of WalMart Before this becomes another Preventable Tragedy.

As far as Litigation against WalMart where a Manager really seemed to be concerned and asked that
he be made aware of any such issues and then the following day (I live near and always liked The
Union NJ WalMart Store, so sue me) it was the inappropriate reaction of WalMart Claiming that
while speaking to the Store Manager that previous day I was "Trespassed" out of the store and told
not to return by the Police which were not present the previous day and then while picking up a
couple items to have the Police called (I have the Call from WalMart to Union NJ Police where they
tell the dispatcher that the police "Trespassed" Me out of the store and I was back and took a
photo) even though it was only on my last visit that I was asked not to take any photos in the store
which their own security tapes will verify.

This isn't a case of who stole the Kishka, it comes down to being retaliated against for voicing
concern reasonably inside the store and has nothing to do with Heritage, net worth or My Stunning
Good Looks and Hot Girlfriend as we "Shop".

Seems that its easy to simplify and remark without all the facts about My Presence on line and by
giving my email and name I am showing that I stand by my comments and have no reason to hide
behind some anonymous screen name and spout half truths.

OSHA was contacted as part of the concerns over safety and not by me and they found the situation
to be a valid concern and contacted WalMart themselves directing that the situation be corrected.
So, My issue still is the retaliation against me for expressing a safety issue agreed to be valid by OSHA
who directed The Union WalMart store to fix the aforementioned stacks immediatly.

And for this I was Banned for Life? Why wouldn't I want to talk to an attourney?

I'm comfortable in what I presented here is sharing the truth and I give My Name without fearing the
Kitty Litter Lawyers coming and Litigating all my worldly posessions in order to kill the truth.
If I keep one child from injury then my Karma is set and it would take a much higer authority to prosecute that and they are busy with the Hebrew National Hotdog Quality of product.

Thank You for listening and voicing your concerns.

God Bless America!

To danielinnj, the original poster of this thread,
Here´s one for you...We were at a Walmart some months ago and had watched the evening news before going over. Once there we were shopping and as things go we have to go to and fro to find things thereby passing the same people time and time again. It´s my husband´s method of shopping not mine, lol. We take turns pushing the cart while the other goes on search of an item alone. At the end of this trip we met at the front and my husband asked if I saw the man with all the kids and the one he kept calling ´peanut´. I asked if he saw them and when he did I said yep, that´s the one I saw that was calling this girl peanut. I asked if she looked like the one on the news that was abducted and he said she looked like her but was a bit older for sure. We went home to search the net for this missing girl´s pic. It was clearly the same girl so we returned to the Walmart to tell the manager so she could call the police about it. Oh, we can´t that it´s store policy. I said I´d call them but they´d need to look at the store tape so she should pull it and keep it safe for them. They are after all a 24 hr. store. We called the police and met them there but they couldn´t look at the tape without the store manager´s permission and she said she couldn´t give it according to store rules. The child´s life was in danger and she couldn´t allow an officer of the law to look at this tape? To top it all off she said she didn´t have access to the equipment that recorded store activity and they wouldn´t be available until the day shift! I asked her to call them but she said she couldn´t authorize that because they´d have to be paid for it. I asked her to call the person who could authorize this. She said she wasn´t willing to do that because she didn´t want to jeopardize her job for a report that might not prove to be right. The next day we called the police and they said they couldn´t find the girl on the tapes and that there was too much tape to look over anyway! Yes, you gotta love our local cops, worthless! The lives of missing and abducted children are in the hands of people like this. The Walmart manager said that security wasn´t on the premises after 6 p.m on any day. My husband said we weren´t shopping there anymore unless security was there because it wasn´t safe. He was being sarcastic to make a point with her because she said it out loud for all the customers to hear and the store was full of people. My husband made sure he said what he said loudly too! Then we left in disgust. We shop there only if we have to and do it before 6 pm.

behzadnazari, BBB, Better Business Bureau has proven not to be trusted in many instances. If Walmart complaints are all over the evening local news, national news, world news, etc then when can be expect them to sit up and pay attention? Never is my answer. The proof is right there for all of us to see. It does absolutely no good to complain about Walmart anymore because we´ve all done it for many many years and nothing has changed! It´s time to just quit shopping there!

Instead of a site called ´´The People of Walmart`` which shows people looking too goofy for words why not a site with pics of safety issues in Walmart with...each lawsuit they´ve lost because someone was hurt or killed by these same issues. It would seem that those who´ve posted here to say that this man has been stupid, a law-breaker, or worse should be working for Walmart...oh wait! You probably do! Anyone with common sense enough to spot this stacking problem as a safety issue should report it for those who either don´t care or aren´t aware that it is a safety issue. Not everyone notices, not everyone knows it´s a danger. My husband and I do home inspections and you would not believe the things we´ve seen where people are living. Now, if the house was being inspected as a new build they´d not let anyone occupy the place until the safety issue is fixed. Why allow Walmart to let people around things that are clearly safety issues? Think about this...if you were standing next to one of those piles of dogfood and didn´t see them shifting towards you would you be able to act fast enough to get out of the way? Probably not and it would cause you to either be jerked sideways or fall. Anyone, man, woman, child, disabled, slow, fast, or distracted...could be hurt by these things or killed in the instance of a small child. Should people have to keep all children under a certain height in shopping carts, what about adults who qualify as little people? Quit thinking about just yourselves for one moment and think of others too.

I agree with this man and have seen my own fair share of these stacking issues in local stores...in Ohio! It´s a safety and health issue! Standing or sitting, short or tall, a big bag of dog food hitting you from the side when you don´t expect it could lead to a serious injury. It´s just that simple. Yes, I´d have reported this if I´d seen it too but by the time I saw it in our local store there was a store manager, with a clerk and the customer who reported it to them, all there fixing this problem! It gets reported alot which means that the store managers aren´t always doing their jobs to protect the public! Any criminal lawyer would have a field day with this sort of willful neglect because you can literally see it in any Walmart store across the nation. It happens that much. Why is it nagging if you yourself see an accident waiting to happen in a short time. Things stacked like that don´t stay put for much longer than hours, especially when people stop to lean on them, bump into them with their carts, etc. So, yes he did a good thing. He did an even better thing by getting the evidence of it on camera. Anyone seen the site about the shoppers of Walmart? They aren´t going to stop anyone from taking pics in Walmart as long as cell phone with cameras are around. Why don´t we all start a site to show the dangers of Walmart such as the stacking issues to prove how prevalent it is. This should grab national media attention to force Walmart to safegard their customers.

Their credit rating is A+ and this is the same company that used the slogan " We buy American, We sell American" for years. Remember that?

All your complains WILL be answered only if you submit to BBB. Walmart executives are not stupit, they have been counting on the normal Joe's stupidity for years.

Walmart no price matching

I have shopped at walmart, both store and website regularly. Normally very accommodating. This time I purchased a step2 Play Up Gym Swing Set for my grand babies, at a cost of $399.97. Within 2 days of pickup, we went almost immediately to get it...had we waited and discovered our problem, we could have left it for them to return without taking it. However we did pick it up, only to discover it was on sale at toysrus for $100.00 less. When I emailed walmart.com about the difference in price, they said they do not match prices..., I pointed out to them that I see the commercial on tv almost everyday telling how they "match it", in regard to prices. I have sent multiple emails including mentioning that at the bottom of the the ads on tv, it says clearly "walmart.com"...this is so frustrating as walmart was a major contributor to my frequent shopping. Very hard to say, "I will never deal with them again". I get more aggravated each time I see those commercials.
Any suggestions, this is pretty new to me as I said, I always felt walmart did well by me over the years.
Thanks, I feel better already, just venting. My grandson absolutely loves the playset, so I have that priceless joy.
Again thanks

They are talking about bringing a Walmart to the Washington D.C. area, while it would be convenient for a lot of people who aren't able to travel to Maryland or Virginia to shop there, I think Washington D.C. has enough problems without bringing in a retailer with anti-customer services. They need better customer service or as the economy gets worse they will find the average joe still not wanting to shop there. They have lost my family's business and there are a lot of us.

Walmart costomer service

I was in Walmart this morning trying to purchase a few bags of topsoil. I waiting more than 20 minutes for someone to come and open the garden center door. Then I was told by another employee that they couldn’t open the garden center door and the people who could were in a meeting and refused to come out and open the door. Now it’s not as if I need anyone’s help with getting or choosing the topsoil, I just needed the topsoil! So, I waited another 10 minutes and still no body would help me! So, I finally said forget this and left! This store is a joke! There is NEVER an employee around to help you and when there is, they CAN'T help you! There is always 300 hundred employee's working but only 3 registers open! I understand that we (the American people) our getting what we pay for but, come on already! Walmart is a Capitalist run company that discriminates against their employee's (female) and treats their customers outrageously… I will not be back!

Walmart pharmacy

Walmart needs to get out of the Pharmacy business - they have gotten too big for their own good! Everytime you go to WalMart to pick up medicines, be prepared to spend 30 minutes in line just to get to the counter. Once you have made it there, expect to get a partial on the prescription you requested or get told that they are out of stock on the medicine you need. Remember - you had dropped off the prescription earlier and they did not have the forsight to let you know at that time that they were out of stock on a medicine. To be out of stock on common antibiotics, blood pressure or diabetes medicine is inexcusable. If Walmart can not stock up om medicines that are commonly used, then they need to get out of this business! I am sure that Walgreens is just as busy as Walmart but I have never had to wait for a medicine if it had been dropped off earlier!

Someone has stolen my identity and banking information. Various Walmarts throughout Texas have been responsible for accepting these forged checks and I am getting no help from Walmart to stop this problem! I have police reports in to all locations which accepted these forged checks, and the Desoto walmart Accounting Manager told me "It's not our problem" Excuse me! YOU ARE THE PROBLEM! You're accepting fake checks from someone with a fake ID. It's is absolutely YOUR problem! I have tried to navigate the phone lines and website to no avail. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP! The register no longer prompts for the cashiers to check IDs anymore, unless it is the first time a check is being used in the store. That's why no one asked. This is for Walmart, not sure how Target runs their thing.

Walmart urban campaign

Walmart sucks! Here are just a few reasons why 1) Encouraging use of carcinogenic pesticides such as Roundup (we know who died from this); 2) Massive use of slave labor for producing garments; 3) New world order agenda: They pushing corporate education disguised as urban clean up, diversification, renewal projects. We know this--outside our apartment is a few Clean the City Walmart signs; they are running a museum campaign at the Smithsonian; they are awarding grants to schools and colleges provided the teachers/ professors attend their training camps (really corporate brainwashing in disguise); 4) All of their foods are processed foods mostly, just like Target. Processed foods are full of artificial ingredients, carcinogenic genetically modified organisms, hydrolyzed proteins (msg), polysaturated fats, and other sterile ingredients; 5) World domination by 2049 (see the new game 2049). All universities will have board presidents from McDonalds, Coco-Cola, Kraft, Walmart, the whole shebang; rather than Walmart University, it will still have the old facade, but most of the boards will consist of conglomerate representatives. In that world, the only free thought will be what is needed to make the grade. Socrates would puke all over himself. Ewww!
I hate Walmart because they underpay (contrary to what their campaign says) and rely on slave labor, and breed slave drivers (called professors in the new world order), and poison the human beings with toxic chemicals, and poison the human soul with consumerist greed, and pollute the planet with all their plastic garbage and consumerist wastes. Walmart, you suck! We don't need to be cancer stricken (yes we are that too sadly, from all the Roundup we used to use) to know Walmart is evil!

PS. One last factor which I forgot to mention in the rural area which we lived was we had some funky neighbors, and they were really redneck types, and we were pretty counterculture; so there's a sneaking suspicion one of them could very easily have poisoned the waterwell, which was hardly ever locked.

Now I have regrets about saying all those *bad* things about Walmart. I can imagine those highly paid execs with nothing to do all day except read postings on complaintsboard, pulling their hair out! But if I hadn't seen the *cheery* "Clean the City" wire signs stuck in the lawn mostly likely by the landscaping crew for our apartment building, I wouldn't have been upset. I mean, I didn't mean to ruin Aggravated Shopper's day; there was a time I loved to be greeted by those cheery oldsters in front of the store; in fact, I even thought about maybe applying to work there too. And they do have these very reasonably priced most likely factory second music CDs. It wasn't altogether bad, till we got sick. Some of us don't know what it's like being in the hospital. Nowadays the first thing they do is hook you up on an IV with "antibiotics" or "potassium" but really all that is to make you lose your sense of time so you don't worry about bathing or anything. The idea of writing a book while in a hospital bed...that's a myth. Okay, there were more factors than one for developing colorectal cancer, but we think Roundup was a catalyst. Here are some other contributing factors to consider: http://coloncancer.about.com/od/causesofcancer/a/Colon_Cancer.htm. I don't want his relatives to see this posting and start to get upset. They'll guess it was me after a while. He smoked, and I breathed in alot of secondary smoke. He made his own wine, and we drank several glasses every night, and it had sulfite preservatives. My dad had colorectal cancer, so the factors were partly hereditary. Not mentioned in the causes, but it should be is yeast infection/ allergy. Man, I am too good to you people considering all the insults I get in return. Men and women can be allergic to wheat and develop candida: http://www.turnaroundyourhealth.net/Candida-Albicans---Is-it-The-Cause-of-Your-Health-Problem?/B67.htm. Furthermore, taking coconut oil can help: http://www.organicfacts.net/organic-oils/organic-coconut-oil/health-benefits-of-coconut-oil.html. Now the moment I say this Walmart executive may try to corner the market on the stuff. I noticed it has been disappearing rather quickly off our organic stores here locally. Nevertheless, there are 16 factors mentioned, and a few preventatives. Don't smoke, don't drink, get the endoscopy soon as you hit 40, earlier if someone in the family has had colorectal cancer, exercise, try to eat less processed foods, more organic/gmo, don't use herbicides in the garden (another factor was boyfriend was pretty sloppy about washing his hands, and his aim got sloppy too sometimes, he just accidentally sprayed on the veggies; and believe spraying all the dandelions on a 5 acre piece of land is a lot of dandelions). Also don't take any alcohol or coffee if you are already prone to yeast infections: men, if you itch down there, that's a very good sign. Bathe the genitalia with tea-tree soap and rub in some coconut oil down there all over. Cut the hair down there too if it gets too bushy. You can also take coconut oil internally. You know, there are many ways to have a nice day besides just the one-dimensional Walmart way, after all, like I said, Walmart only lets us see the bright side of the sunny street. We need to see the whole picture sometimes. Thank you complaintsboard.

Update by anonymous27
Apr 26, 2011 10:13 pm EDT

I am hurt. Against my better judgment: 1) boyfriend died of liver disease/late stage colorectal cancer. Guess what his fav thing was to do? Spraying for dandelions using Roundup in a cannister every single morning, including the veggie garden where I dutifully weeded. Yeah don't laugh! 2) I got colorectal cancer and had multiple surgeries and followup treatment a year later. Now I have an ostomy that is not reconnectable. I was also sterilized etc from radiation treatment. 3) Walmart had a very aggressive Roundup campaign on Live365 Radio last year; You couldn't listen to live354 online radio without encountering those stupid Walmart ads about Roundup for the garden. Every 15 minutes! 4) All right, I don't *hate* Walmart, but my allegations of them using sweatshops is pretty much true. They have gotten better, but you can, if you are psychic at all, feel the pain embedded in their clothings. I can. So can other people but they won't admit it. 5) You have to admit they push a lot of tasteless corporate foods that personally I find disgusting. Read "Fast Food Nation" to get an idea of what I am talking about. 6) Okay, the prof was a bit of a slave driver, but she wasn't the meanest, but at the same time, there is this effect when they all aggregate at those faculty seminars. If you ever been to one, maybe you would know. You think they are so nice, but man, some of them are nothing if narcissistic and egoistical. But to be fair, she was a fair grader, although with regard to everything else just a schmuck like everybody else. 7) So yes, I look like those caricatures of Obama mama going back to school. Not real funny at my age. And of course you can guess what kind of college it had to be if it needed a Walmart grant so bad. Maybe not so bad, but not really all that hot either. Now you know why I need a punching bag like Walmart sucks? Okay, now go punch me in the face and make me feel worse. Maybe I should have said, "Complaint Board sucks!"

Why don't you identify yourself as who you really are? Technical administrator at Complaintsboard? Makes tens of thousands per year, paid to monitor complaints board complaints? While I am not a very big fan of Walmart any more and actually agree with many of your statements regarding Walmart, i am wondering is this a complaint more about Walmart or more about RoundUp? I know Walmart has their own generic brand of RoundUp in a green bottle but if this is more about the actual RoundUp brand, there are so many places that sell it from Walmart, to hardware stores, nurseries and green houses, and it is even carried in grocery stores.

BTW, I have retired from Walmart so i have time to comment on this site but I honestly have never, ever heard anyone say anything bad about RoundUp except they didnt think it worked very well.

Walmart walmart vizio 55 led lcd tv purchase cancelled - bait & switch

Placed a order at dumbcorp.com for a vizio 55"led lcd tv, order went thru, credit card was charged. I selected site-2-store shipping method.
Same day I made 2 of my friends aware of this incredible deal (199.99), of which both of them purchased. The 1st friend, as did i, had our orders cancelled"your order was canceled on 04/20/2011, due to a lack of product availability". The second friend, and last to order, has received his tv, and no amount of calling customer care will get us the tv at the low price of 199.
So we ordered first, and our orders cancelled. The last to order got his tv, no big troubles at all, for the very low price of 199.99
When I check the walmart.com (Dumbcorp.com) website, it says lack of product avail...

Very frustrated with their lack of customer service in this regard. This is false advertising, a bait and switch, dishonest practice which is illegal in the state in which I reside.

Will contact: bbb, attorney general, & para-legal friend, & also file court case.

Funny thing about this is: walmart is going to loose money ether way, they have 1 of 2 options:
1. Give me the tv, take the loss, make a customer happy (It was their mistake).
Or
2. I will continue to pursue this matter so persistently, it will cost them. (Hours spent on phone with reps & agents, lawyers, etc).

If they elect option 2, they will still loose (They loose ether way, they made a mistake), but they will also loose a long time walmart.com & walmart b&m customer.

The reps on the phone have not been able to be of any assistance at all.

Odd way to do business.

Just gotta keep calling, make sure you explain very descriptively everything that took place, then after explaining it to the rep tell them you would like to speak with a sup.

From a consumer standpoint, it's pretty poor business to give the last guy who ordered his item, and cancel my order, and tell me it was due to lack of avail...

If it weren't for that, then I wouldn't be so perturbed by this incident.

Walmart blocking the card

On 4/15/2011 I tried to use my card at circuitcity.com and it was declined for $38.01. At first I thought maybe I placed the wrong password and then I tried seven more times and the same thing. So then I went to a DSW and it was declined for $132.49. The card was loaded on 4/14/2011 with $500.00 and before that $1400.00 on 4/11/2011, so there was funds on the card. Additionally, I will be traveling in May and originally reserved some services in which I did not want and one of which the cruise cancelled itself that was credited back to the card. Around the same week I shopped at Burlington Coat Factory in which I used the card to receive credit from previous purchases and had it credited to the Walmart card because I use it so much. This happen on three occasions for $140.95, $7.88, and $19.97 all valid returns in which the store is willing to validate. These credits came in before the circuit city incident and the card was blocked on 4/15/2011 and has been blocked for the last 5 days in which I have no access to the $1138.51 that is on the card.

I was told the card was not designed to received credits and I would have to prove they were valid. I was told since the card was not used for the original transaction for Burlington Coat Factory in which I used cash and gift card I would need to fax the original receipt and the return receipt to Walmart. I did not have the return receipt because I never thought I would need it, so on 4/16/2011 I faxed the original receipts and the email cancellations for Royal Caribbean. Royal Caribbean was used for the original purchase of $854.00 and $230.00, when they refunded the money they refunded it in individual transactions.

Nevertheless after I faxed over the documents on 4/16/2011 I was under the impression the manager would remove the block immediately. Well I have called every day since then at least twice a day and I would told firs that the issue was being researched and it would take 1 business day which was Monday 4/18/2011. I called on 4/19/2011 and I was told someone would call me back when it was done but there is no estimated time. I was also told that they department conducting the research can only be reached through email there is no contact number for them and they are located in California.

Every representative that I have spoke with and it has been at least 10 claim there is no manager higher than a supervisor. When I spoke with a supervisor at least 9 of them they claim there is no one higher than them; one told me the claim was being researched and senior representatives are the only people that can unblock my card and they work from 9-5 PST.

Walmart is holding $1100 of my money without a valid reason. I am not trying to use money I don’t have, I want the money I placed on the card. I am writing for your assistance because I am getting nowhere with this issue and with a call center that is not located in the United States. No where in the card holder policy does it state I cannot receive credits and that the card will be blocked for doing so. Or the fact that it has taken 5 days to resolve an issue with a company that has no way on getting in contact with a department other than by email.

My card is blocked due to "suspicious activity " they claim. My entire paycheck was direct deposit the day before they blocked it. I too was told to email copy if ID and wait 2 days. Did you ever get access to ur money or are u still waiting? What do i do?

Walmart walmart gift card free from pch

I would like for Walmart to either get off of there butts and tell Publishers Clearing House to STOP! letting them tell people they have won $1000 Walmart Gift Card and then they don't follow through with it! I have got the same flashing "you are a winner of $1000 Walmart Gift Card and NOT GETTING it I did what they said to do I purchase two items, Even though supposedly you don't have to purchase ANYTHING! to win. But I ordered anyway even though I didn't want to order anything and STILL DIDN'T GET MY GIFT CARD! It's all a SCAM!

Come on people. When is good old common sense going to kick in. It has been said for years and it has stood the test of time, and I quote, "IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS!" And by probably is, I mean DON'T DO IT! It isn't true. You are all just wasting your own time and getting yourselves all worked up in hopes you would get something for nothing. I mean GEEZ, I'm only 58 and I leaned that lesson when I was 5. It's not that hard of a concept. Get with the program.
