Model wrf767sdem01, s/n k72616866. Second request for a repair that was not properly fixed in March 2018. The refrigerator is 1yr old and has not worked properly since purchase. Purchase date was 8/25/17 and the repairman arrived 2 weeks ago (still less than 1yr old and under warrenty), but would not repair unless the refrigerator was defrosted. It is defrosted and I can not reach anyone at the repair center to set up the repair (2nd call and left messages both x) [protected].
It continues to freeze up behind the crisper boxes and will not cool the refrigerator. We have lost many items such as butter and sour cream growing mold. Milk and cheese is a gamble. This issue is a defective refrigerator and I would like it replaced.

We bought this dishwasher in Jan. 2017 at our local Sears store. We had dishwasher delivered and installed by the store. Dishwasher worked great up until June of this year. I didn't get extended warranty due to financial issues. Dishwasher quit washing dishes completely. It would wash but dishes were still dirty. I pulled dishwasher out only to find the water line was kinked. Mind you this is the first time we moved it since it was installed.
Started another cycle and it worked for 2 full cycles. We thought great...saved money. 3 days later the dishwasher would run thru a complete cycle and not wash anything. No water at all. Pulled washer out again. Water was coming into dishwasher, but nothing happening after.
We went back to our local store and told them situation and ask for advice. They were very rude and confrontational. Said there was no way the kinked line would have had anything to do with dishwasher not washing. We called a local whirlpool repairman. He found that the motor wasn't working. I can only think that a motor doesn't go out in 18 months unless something caused it!
We just spent $220 to have it replaced. I sincerely hope this isn't a consistent issue with this dishwasher.
I also believe the lack of water caused motor to burn up! But no warranty and Sears is no help!

On June 20, 2018, I purchased 3 whirlpool appliances from Airdrie Appliances in Airdrie, Alberta. Within a few weeks I had the fridge and dishwasher delivered but the range (YWFE520S0FS) was back ordered. When I took possession of the range on Aug. 2 it was damaged and returned to Airdrie Appliance. They said they would re-order the range and I asked them to change the order to a different model (YWFE510S0HS) . I was told it would be a few weeks for delivery. On Aug. 28 I was informed that the 510 model would not be here until Sept. 24. I asked for a refund because I could drive 20 minutes south to Calgary and purchase and pick-up the 510 model the next day (Aug. 29) from a different appliance store. Airdrie Appliance told me that Whirlpool would not issue a refund. Why not? I am buying the same Whirlpool appliance only I would have it sooner. I can get one tomorrow instead of waiting over 7 weeks. Would that not be good customer satisfaction. Airdrie Appliance sent the Whirlpool rep an e-mail to contact me and give me an explanation. It has not happened. Can anybody at Whirlpool help?

Purchase the Wheel pool dryer from Lowe's within the first 30 days the machine went out nose replace machine that was in February 2018 and now this machine that they replaced when I as well service man came out and said he needed to order a part that was a week ago we had to call the service man today to find out what's going on he said he's having trouble getting the part and doesn't know when he can get the part where without a dryer what the heck is going on the whirlpool

Purchased a new Whirlpool Refrigerator January 20, 2017. Six months after purchase the compressor in the freezer went out and we lost food that was in freezer. Since refrigerator was still under warranty, a new compressor was installed. In July, 2018, the ice maker stopped working, which required a new icemaker. No longer under warranty, we were forced to pay for new ice maker and install. I think there must be a quality issue with a freezer and ice maker that only last less than two years. For the price of the refrigerator it should not be defective within two years.

I bought a front load washing machine in 22/02/2017. Within 7 months the machine stop functioning automatically. For 1 washing I have to switch it off or change the program at least 3 time . One hour washing takes about 2 hours to finish.
I complained many time no proper response and irresponsible behavior, incompetent people to solve the problem I detected and reported to them. I used to be a whirlpool customer and got many home appliances from the company. Now I am so angry and disappointed that here after I will replace my home appliances by a better company which can handle problems.

I ordered a Refrigerator, a Stove and a Dishwasher. With extended warranties on all. Also paid for delivery and hook up.
Was told earliest delivery date would be August 29th.
I have attempted several (over 20 times) with highest wait time of 37 minutes... listening to the same 1981 music tract... maddening.
But never, ever a human. The automated idiot kept telling me that my phone number didn't exist.
I was actually on hold when I received a phone call. It was WHIRLPOOL! Telling me that they had attempted to bill my debit card, and was refused. I told her IMPOSSIBLE I have just checked my balance and there is a thousand dollars over the required amount.
She THEN informed me that some banks will only allow so much to be deducted at one time.
I told her I would check with the bank.. but BEGGED her to recheck today. She PROMISED she would.
I checked, the money is still there and no one is answering.
I guess I will get my appliances elsewhere.

I purchased one refrigerator (Model no: 205 IMPW Cool PRM 3s), from Amit Electronic, LGF-167, Baldev Plaza, Golghar, Gorakhpur (India) with receipts no. 155 on dated 15/07/2018 (INR 13, 700). I called multiple time to shopkeeper to send someone to rectify the problem but he refuse to send anyone and even not advise anything what to do.
I am sure that it is a default refrigerator because in the back outlet sources are 'full of water' at all time and the freezer 'full of ice' at all time and even upper, lower and all portions. Sometime its making irritating sound.
Please replace my refrigerator ASAP.

I bought the fridge on July 2014 and now the fridge is facing quite a lot of problems and I have been calling the Indian whirlpool service centre and they provided me the advisor who was absolutely not in behaviour with my mother and myself bit still we wanted to get the fridge repaired and then they told u have to wait cuz the part which has to get replaced has to arrive so I said okay and now it's been 10 days that they havnt called me once and I have been calling them and getting the response it's in transit everytime.Today I gave a call again and now the story has been changed completely because now they were saying I need to pay half amount of my fridge which was worth 1 lakh twenty thousand rupees and transportation cost of 1000 rupees and then they will replace with a new fridge and I was in complete shock because I call them and I get the information but they never bothered to tell me anything apart from your part is in transit and now I have to pay so much money to get my fridge back in working conditions feel this is a total fraud and the biggest scam of my life till now cuz I have 3 more refrigerators and u have never faced this kind off scams in any other reputed company.

Pursued a whirlpool washer had it for a year and a half called whirlpool several of times got know where called again they said they would take care of the parts and labor. Have a repair guy come payed 97 dollars and then they tell me I have to pay for labor that would cost me more then the washer is worth why even offer a customer that option when at that point they know the labor would be more then it's even worth to fix just do the repair guy can make money off of you for doing nothing

It has leaked 3 different times from the water connections under the unit and the leaks have caused my vinyl flooring to peal up and now I have a ruined floor. This unit is only 2 years old. Why is your unit constantly leaking. I have owned 2 other refrigerators with water connections before. One for 13 years and it never leaked and one for 17 years with no leaks. Why is yours leaking all the time and causing damage?

Called the Whirlpool "Experience" hotline twice—since sadly, my family has lost the filtered door water dispenser feature that we had depended on since purchase in 2008. There was ZERO technical support to answer any of my questions, just a call center employee who could only sell me service or parts for the model number (kscs23INSSO1) .
I was told that corporate had to get rid of technical support experts due to economic issues.
I wanted to ask if there was a dummy part that I could insert where the everydrop filter cartridge goes...I have scrupulously changed $50.00 filters twice a year since it was purchased from Lowe's 10 yrs ago when prompted by the % Remaing counter inside the fridge and found the water to be to be quite satisfactory—until I replaced the cartridge with one I purchased from Lowe's—YUCK! I returned that one and drove to Home Depot—the water still tastes bad. Next, I attached an in-line filter between my fridge and the ice maker shutoff valve...sadly, same result.
Of course, I flushed several gallons of water after each filter change. There was some clear stringy mucous in the clear glass pitcher I used to purge the second filter cartridge—GROSS!
IS IT LIKELY THAT WHIRLPOOL SUBBED OUT THE MANFACTURING OF THEIR EVERYDROP FILTERS AND OR SOMEHOW HAS CHANGED TO AN INFERIOR FILTER MEDIA ...SURE WISH THERE WAS A KNOWLEDGEABLE PERSON TO ASK.

In that time, I was transferred 3 different times even though I asked not to be, and after 45 minutes and a final transfer, I was hung up on. I was even cut off the last time I asked them not to transfer me. Can't help my customer or me. You guys have bailed on us. I am sickened by the lack of support for your product. Our washer timed and sensor dry failed. Repairmen came out and got timed dry working, but did not fix sensor dry. Now, you guys are saying that since the warranty period lapsed while these guys were going back and forth to repair it is now on us.
This lack of support is horrible. If you folks do not make this right we will never buy another whirlpool product or anything made by the company and will make sure to tell every person we possibly know to avoid your products

bought a brand new whirlpool dishwasher
Purchaced a Whirlpool Dishwasher at Lowe's. Two week delivery time. Model WDTA50SAHW.
I believe was manufactored at their Findlay, Ohio plant. Serial F82916705.
When the delivery men brought it, they dollied to my door. I noticed wires hanging out the bottom of the box. Before we brought it into the house, I made them aware of it and we put it on it's back. The delivery guys were very helpful and we took the bottom carboard off to investigate. I could tell it was a coil hanging. (Pic 4). Should have been connected to a valve. After a few minutes, I found the valve. It was the main water valve. The unit would have never worked! Luckily, I'm an electrician and was able to snap the coil on. I thanked the delivery guys and told them, "I hope I dont find anything else!
After they left I proceeded to open and inspect the machine.
Right off the bat I saw a large dent in the corner bottom of the door and paint chipped off. (Pic 1).
Then, I looked inside at the stainless steel inner tube. Two good sized dents in the upper back corner. The upper tray when fully closed hits the one dent.(pic 2).
Any finally, (I quit looking) the upper front corner door seal/structure also was dented. Possible leaker.

The box that was delivered had absolutley no signs of damage, so I assume these problem originated at the factory.
I find it hard to believe that all these issues were ignored at the factory? What ever happed to quality control? What ever happed to a final insection of a product? Are you more worried about production numbers rather than producing a quality product?
I truly hope the plant manager would take the time to read this. Or, someone forward it to him.
I would guess that this is not the type of product he wants his customers to purchase.
I am venting a little because, again we have to wait two more weeks to get another dishwasher. (Lowe's was very helpful with this and immediately ordered a new machine.)
And trust me, if there are any problems with the new one, it will be returned for my money back.
Whirlpool... are you listening? For what I thought was a good company, you should be listening.

While I appreciate your response, I do want to make very clear that these issues had nothing to to with your ability to control shipping and storage. I personally worked in a appliance factory environment for over 20 years. The issues I found had nothing to do with shipping and storage. I would hope you are not trying to “Pass the Buck” here. These are production and quality control issues. Plain and simple.
These issues should be taken directly to the plant manager and floor supervisors. Not just documented and filed. I hope that is the case. Otherwise, the problem does not get fixed. Can I ask if they were? If not, you arent doing your job.
Thank you, and by the way, I am getting my new Dishwasher delivered today. I will go over it with a fine tooth comb. Should I have to? Probably not but, as in your response, I am not sure Whirlpool takes these issues seriously.

I purchased a Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator W10706341A June 21, 2017 in Detroit Lakes, MN at Sears and paid $4, 278.93. Since then it has quit twice destroying all contents. I purchased the extended warranty and it's taken 3 weeks the first time to be fixed now one month before they can send a technician. My sister purchased a Kenmore refrigerator at Sears for $3500+ in September 2016 and several times it thawed the freezer and now quit. A brand new dishwasher that was not used for one year for a spec home purchased from Sears did not work. WARNING TO ANYONE PURCHASING APPLIANCES FROM SEARS... GO ELSEWHERE. The brand new product cannot fail like this… or I am sold an old fridge in makeover format or the product is defective. In either case, I deserve a replacement. I would like to request your kind attention to the problem and kindly replace my refrigerator as soon as possible.

I received a Maytag refrigerator 90 days ago and discovered that the icemaker door cover has a defect between the door in the icemaker leaving a large gap between the cover and the door... I do not want the refrigerator anymore because my eyes continue to follow the gap of the icemaker cover in my opinion as well as the technicians opinion the refrigerator has a defect. This is my first experience with any Maytag product and it will be my last... now fast forward after the first complaint on this website. Whirlpool Corporation sent a brand "New" icemaker cover to my home from Whirlpool Corp Factory Certified Parts. A Technician from Authorized Appliance Services, Inc; was commission to come out and install the new icemaker cover which the guy... only to discover that now I have a large gap on the Side and the Top of the icemaker...yes I can literally see behind and see over the icemaker cover. The technician said "maybe this refrigerator has the wrong door" I don't know what it has or what it does not have however I know this has been a horrible experience for me and my family. This is a brand new refrigerator model no. MSS26C6MFZ00 we should not be having all these problems. I don't want the refrigerator but Whirlpool Corporation and my home warranty company( First American is strong-arming me with the refrigerator... let me tell you how. I'm a New homeowner and after 3 months my refrigerator goes out and can not be fixed... so my home warranty company(First American) purchase this Maytag Refrigerator that's quote unquoted now under warranty and I am feeling stuck... in a perfect world First American and Whirlpool Corp would come to some kind of agreement to pick-up this refrigerator and send me a check for a comparable refrigerator then I would go and pick out one that I can see, tough, feel, inspect etc... before making this large purchase. When it was first used, it made a strange noise while making Ice but because we had never had a Whirlpool refrigerator before, we assumed it was normal. This is so frustrating. We had the fridge for about 1 year when the compressor needed replacement. I called and told them that we haven't even been using the fridge for 8 months and she told me she could cover the parts and that this labour would be 129.99$. So they had a tech come the next day just to look at the fridge and tell me it's the compressor well yeahhh I told the girl yesterday over the phone. So he goes to charge me 129.99 and to follow it that it's going to be an extra 400$ for the compressor. I was in shock. Nothing was done today but the charge of 130$. My husband was able to do the work tomorrow but when they told me it would be 130$ and the parts paid we did it that way instead. Now I called them and they didn't offer to do anything about it and i told them I won't be doing the compressor with them. Now I'm short 130$ (for something I had told them yesterday). Worst brand I will never buy from them again.
