Dairyworks tasty grated cheese barcode [protected]
I bought this cheese on Saturday the 8th of January from the Prospect Vale store in northern Tasmania, and as I paid with Apple Pay I didn't keep the receipt, and despite having a package date of 9/9/21 and a best before 9/6/22, the cheese was mouldy and in an inedible state due to this mould. I live less than 5 minutes away from the supermarket and drove straight home, refrigerating immediately once I arrived at my place of residence.

Bullying staff.
You are going to have to give me a good explanation as to why I had to undergo some serious bullying today by team member Tahnee at Wellington NSW store.
I merely went through the checkout and paid for my groceries and at that moment, Tahnee who was standing in the line besides began jabbing her fingers at me at close range (you may see this on the stores surveillance) and yelling out at me that I am talking about her and threatens to call the police, she then yells to the security guard standing at the front of the store and orders him to 'REMOVE THIS WOMAN FROM THE STORE', she is shouting uncontrollably and humiliating me in front of the many customers waiting for service.
The security guard walks over to me, he says nothing but I ask "is she (Tahnee) shopping? (in the light of, is she ordering me out of the store as a customer or an employee as it appeared she was buying groceries?) he does not answer but all the while Tahnee is shouting that she is going to call the police.
I said to the security guard,"if you just saw violence, can you act as witness?"He said,"what?"
So I repeated the question and all the customers are standing there as though they are watching something of interest.
I then left the store and when I went back to my car, I rang Wellington NSW Police and notified them of what had just occurred and that the staff member had no due reason to have me ushered out of the store in such an aggressive fashion.
The officer concluded that there was not enough violence and to take the matter up with the store manager.
Jade the assistant manager told me today that the main manager is away for a few weeks but when I rang again and spoke to someone else, I was told he is working tomorrow.
It seems the managers are not trustworthy to be approached about anything.
I have been very affected by Tahnees rude outburst today.
If I find a checkout person hostile and unfriendly, why should I be forced
to have any contacts with that person.
An explanation is warranted or I will need to take this matter up with a Lawyer and have The Magistrate determine the issues.
Karen McKenzie.
Unable to inspect meat through plastic bag
I think it is awful that Woolworths stop you inspecting the belly joints by putting a non-see through panel on their belly pork, It is like buying a car but you can only see the roof. Shame on you Woolworths, let me see what I am buying.
I bought steak from you last week, steak visible from the top of the packet, opened the packet up turn one piece of steak over, it must have been the end, it was mainly fat. You really need to lift your game. IGA is looking better
Desired outcome: Wrap you meat so the customer can see what they are buying
Home delivery and loss of order
I had a home delivery due yesterday, I got a text to say I was next in line and then the text to say it had been delivered. Which it had not been after 45 minutes on the phone I finally got told that it had been delivered to the wrong address. Which means I'm now getting it this afternoon but I particularly needed it yesterday. I am really annoyed about it. I have lived at the same address for 4 years now and no other drivers have had a problem. Why would he say 2 houses had the same street number?
Not a happy shopper

Service from an employee
I visited the Mall of Africa woolworths branch on the 25th November 2021 and was not at all pleased with the service I received from an employee.
I was in queue for approximately 45minutes with a colleauge of mine after knocking off work.
For some reason there was a delay at the Interactive department and my colleague and I were waiting to be served as we both wanted to purchase 2x Roitiserrie chickens each.
My friend decided that she would go to another store to quickly pay off her account and i should keep her space as everyone behind us saw we were both in the queue so I doubted it would be a problem.
As i was waiting and waiting I decided to call my friend to check how far she was as i was getting closer to the front of the queue, i couldn't reach her but assumed she was on her way back.
After what seer close to an hour, I was finally served by employee named (Nosipho Ntombela) who decided she would serve the ladies behind me, when I was clearly there 1st!
This was totally shocking and I was in disbelief and very upset.
I then put it to her attention that she could not serve people behind me since my friend were in queue before them and explained why she left and that she's on her way.
I asked that she serve me the 4 items (2 being mine and 2 being for my friend) and that's when she threw a hissy fit and giving me unecessary attitude.
I did not understand why she had to behave this was after we had been patiently waiting for almost an hour for the chickens to be ready to serve hence my friend thought she should go to the other store since the food was taking this long.
She did not even apologise for the slow service instead she was hell bent on making me a spectacle in front of other customer's as if I was not spending my hard earned money at this store.
Woolies adverts promotes the "Woolies difference" but the service was below standard, therefore I wonder what difference in service are you offering?
My friend came back and she was served rare chicken to top it all off!
I requested to speak to the manager on floor after Nosipho made me out to be some noisy hooligan!
I would like something to be done about this asap because this is not the type of service I should be paying for and I refuse to be treated this way fir supporting your store. I could have gone to ano other food store but I chose Woolwoths because I expect quality food and quality service but I honestly got less than I bargained for and I highly doubt I would ever visit this branch let alone refer anyone I know to purchase anything there!

Excessive speed in our village
At 6.15pm this evening a Woolies delivery van drove down our street at a horrendous speed. I am at Cardinia Waters Village. unit 204/36 Racecourse Road, Pakenham 3810. [protected]. Speed limit in our village is 20kmh. He was driving so fast unable to get truck details . We are all older people in this village and if someones had have been out walking we could have had a disaster.

Store card decline
Applied at Woolworths a few times to get credit and my applications just get declined with no reason.
I've had to check my credit score several times to try and find a reason for the decline but I have a good credit score and I'm not over indebted.
They should give a valid reason for the declines if the reason like bad credit scores are not obvious.

Complaint about woolworths australia staff member
Store:
Cnr Sunshine Coast Blvd And Hanlan St
Surfers Paradise
I visited the above store at the above time, I purchased some items and got 2 bananas from the "free children's fruit section". I put the bananas aside to scan and pay for my things. Then the Woolworths attendant abruptly put them on the scale insinuating that I was trying to not pay for them.
I then explained that they are from the "free children's fruit section". Explained that my wife and children were at the top of the escalator. We as a family are trying to minimize how many contacts we make in high traffic areas like supermarkets due to Covid.
She snatched them and said that I would have to bring my whole family into the shop to get the bananas.
She then accused me of stealing them and said (and I quote) " Do you know how many of these that we lose from this shop"
She started raising her voice to the extent that she was shouting.
She was not wearing a mask yet came within 1 cm of me while snatching the bananas.
An apology will not be acceptable, I want a full investigation into the event. The security cameras were checked and the employee to be disciplined. I am considering taking action as she defamed me twice by insinuating and then directly accusing me of the theft of two bananas.
If the policy is that children have to be present with parents for the free fruit. Why is it not written and stated clearly? *Is Woolworths official policy that the parents have to be present or did the attendant make a mistake in applying Woolworths policy*
*are Woolworths staff allowed to not wear masks?*
*does Woolworths have a policy about social distancing for staff and customers. Woolworths is always requesting customers keep a distance from each other. If there is not a policy for staff like this, why not?*
*I have seen on 10 occasions Woolworth's staff demand that customers open their bags to prove they haven't stolen anything. Is this official policy? I want to remind Woolworths that even the police do not have the power to do this without significant "due cause and due process". Legally Woolworths staff are not allowed to do this and even if they were the regular occurrence of this happening is An infringement on customers rights*
I look forward to a point-by-point answer to every question. At this time I reserve the right to take further action. I am considering setting up a website for other Woolworths customers to share their experiences around being accused of theft, taking the free fruit, etc.
All communications are to be put in writing, do not call me.
Thank you for your time
Respectfully Yours
James Lewis
Desired outcome: Staff Disciplined, Woolworths policy to follow legal and ethical laws on Australia
Pole in the walway /staff member laughed at me when I walked into it.
I was doing some shopping at woolworths thornlie wa, after finishing a 12 hour shift. I was walking along the front of the isle I noticed a young child on his own so I looked backwards then noticed dad was there. I turned my head back and walked into a pole in front of me (the pole was located at the front of the isle). The trolly handle hit my stomach it really hurt like it winded me. One of your staff smiled at me, I said thats not funny what this stupid pole doing here she stood there laughing at me. I was in pain and your staff member cotinued to laugh at me the hole time. I want something done she never even asked me if I was ok. I used to work in the retail industry this is not how staff should treat customers and its not profesional / that pole should be moved before someone else gets seriously hurt to.
Desired outcome: I USED TO WORK IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY THIS IS NOT HOW STAFF SHOULD TREAT CUSTOMERS / THAT POLE HAS TO BE MOVED BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE GETS SERIOUSLY HURT TO.
Online delivery
I put in an order to Woolworths online and they delivered it to the wrong address. They put a refund through and then another order for the same groceries. However, they want me to call them and manually pay for the order. YET SOME RANDOM PERSON GETS $50 WORTH OF GROCERIES FOR FREE. I WILL NOT BE PAYING THEY CAN TAKE ME TO COURT. They aya they can't do both free groceries and a refund but I am not paying. Why should I pay when someone else just gets groceries for FREE
Desired outcome: Free groceries AND refund

Cheap products offered on completion of woolworths survey
. Never got the Nespresso coffee machine as promised, when I completed Woolworths survey I paid falinas-home.com [protected] DNK on 1st September paid $2.81 as payment for the coffee machine as stated by the ad' . Again on the 6 September they took $39.52 from my account and again on the 4 October $39.52 from my account. When I contacted Falinas Home They claimed they knew nothing about the coffee machine and would not refund the money they took out of my account without my authorisation. Why the hell are they taking my money? This looks like a scam by Woolworths.
Customer service over the phone
Complaint regarding Coolalinga Woolworth supermarket's customer service over the phone.
Called 20 times, loosing the line every 1 minute on most occasions.
Eventually talked to someone 4 times, requesting transfer to BWS and on the first 3 occasions never got through.
I then requested to talk to a manager and was put on hold. After 10 minutes waiting, hung up and called the shop again; this time a manager answered.
However, the lady kept interrupting me with her comment of my BWS's previous request, which wasn't my reason for talking to her.
My intent was to complain about the poor service provided over the phone, not about the BWS, which she kept bringing back at me and refused to let me explain my situation even though I kept repeating it wasn't why I wanted to talk about.
I was then transferred to an assistant manager who behaved the same way and in frustration I began to yell, repeating over and over again I wished to complain, as one does when the other party isn't listening.
In the end he hung up on me with the invincible excuse of being yelled at, which these days mean that human beings do not (should not ever) feel frustrated, upset or angry in life.
To spend over half an hour and going nowhere is not a way to treat this supermarket's customers.
Desired outcome: If possible I would appreciate a reply. I can be contacted by email at: [protected]@protonmail.com
Toaster and kettle

Underwear
Hi I buy my underwear from woolworths jt one.But I'm very disappointed of the quality of the underwear. I just put it on once then there is holes in there and it's not cheap at all.i bought a few panties but all of them the same bad quality. Very disappointed .And then your policy is that when you buy underwear you can't return it.So it very sad that I must spend monies on underwear that tare so quickly.
Woolworths complaint line
I have tried to make complaints to the complaint line many times so I decided to write to woolworth's head office as the complaint line does not help people. Well I have had no confirmation on the head office at bella vista that they have received it. I put a tracker on it and it went to the head office a week ago. The staff at woolworths obviously know complaints are not taken seriously aso they can do what they want.
Desired outcome: staff sacked at revesby for lying to police
Privacy breach
I have noticed that some Woolworths stores are now filming you at self serve registers. This is a breach of privacy. I am filmed whilst doing my shopping. Nowhere does it give me the choice to say NO. It is automatic. Where is this photographic information going? For what purpose is it being collected? and who is viewing it?
I am very concerned as to why the supermarket would feel that they have to film shoppers particularly without their permission. This is a massive breach of the privacy act. This information could end up in the wrong place that could adversely affect someone.
I think that the ACCC should be made aware of this information if it cannot be dealt with. I should be given the choice if I am photographed whilst doing my private shopping. In this case I am given no choice at all. This is not necessary and has nothing to do with the pandemic.
Desired outcome: To not photograph/film people at the register without permission whilst shopping or seek peoples approval before doing so. your stores
Woolworths seem to think they can do anything they want, even their complaint line does nothing to help customers but to hide woolworths negligence.

Goods / refund not received at woolworths kolonnade
On 04/09/2021 I went to Woolworths Kollonade (Montana) to buy some grocery for my kids breakfast and lunch box, well I went to cashier to pay and apparently the cashiers' system went offline after I swiped my card (R562.95) but I did receive a notification that shows that the transaction did go through, but she insisted that it did not go through, so I asked her to call the manager "Ignatius', the manager said he needs to call Absa just to confirm if the transaction did go through and yes the bank did confirm with him that the transaction did go through but IGNATIUS still refused to give me my goods, he said he is afraid that the transaction might reverse (I had to go home), but he promised to call me on Sunday to confirm with me but he never called, on Monday no phone call still, on Tuesday I tried to call them but their numbers did not go through then I called Woolworths customer care line for assistance and they also failed to go through to them but they said they will send the store email so they can contact me, hours later I then receive a call from Ignatius saying that they can't help me until I give them my bank statement as proof, I went and drew my bank statement and I sent to them via email, he never called me to confirm that he indeed received my statement, ok I called him and he did confirm that he received it, now that he sees that my transaction does reflect on my statement he now tells me that they still have to wait again for 7 working days more before they can help me, he told me the is nothing he can do to assist me he will have to talk to his manager then I asked him to tell his manager to at least give me a call so I can try to explain my situation, up until now am still waiting for the call, it feels like they don't care about their customers, I am so heartbroken and disappointed in their poor customer service, the pain of seeing my kids going to school without having breakfast and their desired lunch boxes it breaks my heart and its very unbearable... MY kids are now starving...
He even told me that after that 7 days he will require another statement and bank statements costs money that I do not have
