stackable washer and dryer combo
we have complained since june 7 that the ge washer does not work we have gotten no were with the gates store and today its june 18
Customer Service and Delivery Service
Never dealt with a company whom needed communication nor customer service training more than this one. We ordered a washing machine which was supposed to be delivered Friday June 4th. After not hearing anything by 4pm on the 4th we called since the store closes at 6. We were given several excuses about why it was not delivered and also told they cannot contact their drivers in the field. We were informed we would be called Saturday to see if they could deliver it then.
We never got a call back, so we called again on Saturday afternoon and were told the person whom was to deliver was off on that Saturday. We called the 1-800 today at around 5:45pm (June 7th) to cancel the order as we will buy one elsewhere and we're told they could not cancel because it was in route for delivery. According to tracking, it is NOT on a truck for delivery but PENDING delivery and tracking stated they would call to schedule delivery...
With minutes to spare before the store closes at 6pm, we called and we're told they would let "Mike" the delivery driver know Wednesday when he comes in that we canceled our order. This is pretty laughable for any business, not sure what the deal is in Abingdon, VA but some management could use a few fire logs under their chair. Now I am going to bet my order never gets cancelled and they try to deliver here without even so much as a phone call.
Desired outcome: Don't care, other business establishments who will be glad to take my money.
Service
we went into the store to apply for credit and the customer service attendant named Madison approached us really slow and weird. we ask if we could apply for a tv and she pointed at the little computer in the middle of the store. so we sat there and filled out the application and was approved . we had to almost go to the counter to get her attention again to tell her we finished it and was approved. to which she replied i already see that up here, then why did we have to walk up to the counter and tell her. then the manager Hector joined her in antagonizing us about what we might be able to do this whole time the manager Jackie is sitting in the office with the door wide open mind you. Hector and Madison says they will have her call us about what we can do the next day ... which is insulting our intelligence, in short they were nice and nasty at the same time. we left and called the 1 800 number ..shortly Jackie the manager called Justin Garnica back and apologized and wanted to make it right so he allowed her to ... then we get a call from Madison today the they wont be able to deliver the tv because they have no driver and they dont deliver in the rain... this is clearly her being disrespectful and nasty. i called the Tyler store and they say they have never heard of such a thing..how can we trust your customer service team if they are so hard to deal with and we havent even bought anything yet

Trespassing
I just want to inform you that your employees from the Cleveland, Texas location trespassed on my property today. I am only 7 days late and they have not tried to call me once, but instead went to my house today and opened my closed gate and walked onto my property. They are extremely luckily that my dogs didn't bite them. If my gate is closed that means you do not have the right to come onto my property. Once my account is paid off this will be the last time that I rent anything from your company and the next time they open my closed gate and come onto my property I will call the cops and file trespassing charges against them.
Haressment
The store i idea with came by my house to and woke me up from a sound sleep. I work nights and have ask them not to call or come by because of me sleeping. I, m only 5 days passed due and they know that i will alway pay my bill before the end of the month. I have been dealing with aarons for years and have never been harassed like this. Once my things are paid for i will never deal with them again. The delivery drivers delivered a sofa and chair set to me, I was giving some paperwork to sign that on the left hand side I could not read and I call the office on 78th state Ave to complain about I could not read it and that when I went to the store at first and apply for the furniture that paperwork was unreadable then and being a computer operator I informed them that they need to change the ink in the printer. I am explained this to the lady that was at work on 45/05/2021 at 6:08 that I could not read what I need to sign and that it did not make sense that the paperwork was unreadable. She stated that the the drivers could read it for me. I should not have to have someone read anything to me when I am in my right mind, have good sight and is very well educate where I can read what I am sign. She goes into while if you don't sign it they can not leave the furniture being rude: Until I had to snap on her about her rudeness and that the paperwork should of being print where it was readable. I have purchase a refrigerator from Aaron's Rental and I was also paying on the furniture set that I was willing to send back, got another one that I knew I would start over in payment. No problem my choice. But as a customer when I am stating that I disagree with some that is the company's fault I should not have to get ugly with some one who works for you about this. I am the customer and I deserve respect or I can take my money and business somewhere else. I deserve a legible document that I can read myself and not be treated like I am a person that can not read along with an apologize from her and the company. I did not catch this lady's name by I listed the date and time that I called.
Desired outcome: An apology from her and the company. She must not realize that there other companies that will appreciate my business because I have always made my payments.

I live in Lubbock TX. We have been customers for many years. In June, we will be paying off our furniture and I can't wait for that to happen and will never buy from you again. You some very rude people working for you guys and the one I am mostly complaining about is named Emilo. I could almost swear they all stand in line and take turns calling when you miss a payment I get at least 15 calls a day. The account is under my husbands name Jesus Tijerina. He had a stroke 2 years ago and can't speak very well and when people can't understand him he gets upset so I speak for him when this happens and I am the one who makes the payments for him. I called the office last week and spoke to a man named Manuel and told him that we had our pipes burst and now we have to replace them and the well because of the freeze we had in Feb. We are out of water so we have to buy bottled water till we can fix the well. I told him I would pay him as soon as we could and he was ok with that and that if after I have the money to pay for the well I would try to gather more money and pay them off ASAP and he said he would work with me. Well some day last week this Emilo called my husband and asked to speak to me and my husband told him I was sleeping and he said he needed his money ASAP so my husband told him that I am the one in charge of paying it and Emilo went as far as to tell my husband that I was doing a really bad job of doing it! That was uncalled for. My husband got upset and hung up on him then Emilo calls me back and leaves me a message for me to call him ASAP and he told me that my husband hung up on him, I called the office to get his last name but they wouldn't give it to me which I think is dumb because they have their cards on the table with their manes on them! My husband to so upset I thought he was going to have another stroke and I had to give him some meds to calm him down. This man has been rude to me in the past, so my question is how are you going to fix this problem. Like I said come June we will be paid off if not sooner and I will post on social about your store.

Billing
I was told my accounts would be paid off in March when I called in January. I noticed the took money out of my account this month of April, I called them the gentleman said it was a computer error it would be put back in. I checked my account today it was not back in plus they took more money out for another item that I was told was paid off. Last month they took no money for it, I asked way I was told it was extended but he could not give me a reason why. The fact that it wasn't taken out in March could not be explained either.

I have rented and payed off multiple times for 13 yrs. On 11/4/2020 I fell at work and broke my back. I was off work from then til present . The money I was making was reduced by half. I was made aware by a manager of a store that I have Aaron's club benefits that would help me with up to $1000 toward my back payments .. I filed the paperwork that they needed and jumped through all there hoops. (time to wait)... I thought that everything was going to be alright from what I had been told. All right the wait was over.
I received a phone call saying that I was not employed for 6 months prior to my accident! I have worked all my life. Now the (BS) is that I had changed jobs and there was a 2 week gap. The reason for the gap was that I thought that I had Contracted the corona virus. I did what the government and local authorities said to do! So my thoughts on this bs is send the bill to China.

This is the most unprofessional people i met in my life i need someone to contact me i want to file a complaint on two store i been dealing with...These people think they dictact someones life the store managers are the worst. Where is the district manager
delivery
I requested a laptop/tablet to be delivered on Feb 4th, and no one from the store contacted me to update me that the delivery has been goofed up for Feb 4th, today and said it would be delivered tomorrow Feb 5th.
I only found out by calling them at their store location number on 10740 Atlantic Blvd Jacksonville FL 32225 at [protected].
I spoke with Kathryn at the store before that delivery botch up call happened. She assured me the delivery was 4-7 pm tonight and I asked her if she can confirm if the laptop/tablet was on the delveriy truck and she never gave a firm answer to me but to say the delivery is tonight.
Around 6:30pm I called Kathryn at the store to check on the eta status of tonight's delivery and she then told me there was a botch up on the delivery. I questioned her repeatedly on why she didn't bother to tell me that earlier when I asked to confirm if the laptop/tablet was on the delivery or not. She made her excuses of oh I only type in the information. Unacceptable because had she took the time to look into for me on the first phone call earlier I could have made arrangements for my girlfriend or I to pick it up. This laptop/tablet was for my girlfriend feb 4th as I have her listed on as an authorized user. Kathryn hung up on me when I demanded answers on why this happened?
I called the store again to get a resolutiont to have them deliver it personally to me to rectify the mistake and spoke with Jose and he hung up on me.
I called the store again to get a resolution and spoke with Lorenzo and he only offered to stay till 7:30 while it was already 7pm to ask me to pick me it up but that was too short of a window to do it. Lorenzo kept arguing and talking over me as I wanted to ask him to wait a little longer as I was trying to get my girlfriend to pick it up since she was closer than me and I would be late getting there so my girlfriend Emily the authorized user on the acocunt for the laptop/tablet could pick it up, but Lorenzo kept talking over me and said he was not part of this issue lol are u kidding me ? He then hung up on me.
All of the interacations were of a defensive, unprofessionoal, unaccountable for the store's mistake and not just a huge inconvenience but professionally unacceptable. They represent Aaraons in a very bad customer service experience. I have no confidence in Aarons delivery practices of being timely and relable to the cusomter too.

PS4/ bad customer service
I was never called about my delivery time. So once I contacted the storE. Only then I was given a time for delivery. Which they still never delivered so I then contacted the store asking if I could come get it as I was driving to the store, I was then placed on hold as I parked and seen the manager just standing there. When I walked in they were all standing behind the desk with no mask on and saying that they were trying to find someone to deliver the ps4. I would just like a refund which I was not able to get since the store was about to close and they had counted the drawer. Which confuses me because the door wasn't locked and I was still able to come in.

A round January 23, 2021 A Aaron's Man came to my house he was in an Aaron's truck he knock on my door, I could not open the door all the way cause I have had the covid 19 and now my husband has it. the man said ok yes mama. he got back in his truck, two days later I had a woman from Aaron's to contact me and I told her that I had talk to the guy who came by and explain to him that My husband has covid and I had to take him to the hospital. On the 28, of January a store manger called and I told him what was going on with us being sick with the covid-19 the manger said I'm sorry to her that but his payment is 20 days behind, I ask him will he give me until tomorrow January 29, 2021 to talk with my husband because I don't have excess to his account, and as soon as I talk to him I will call back to try and make a payment, he said ok that fine. the next thing I new about an hour later I went to my bathroom and look out of my window and seen an Aaron big truck park on the side of my house no one came to my door or left any paper or nothing on the door. On January 29, I call the store to try and make a payment and ask to speak to the store manger The lady who answered the phone said that he was not in and that she would have him to give me a call back, then she said hold on o hear he is. When he came to the phone I explain to him who I was and ask why did he send someone by house and they sat in the truck. he said because they came by to pick up the merchandise, I ask him why didn't anyone knock on the door or leave a note or something, he then begin to raise his voice, and said that he has been nice to us and that I was telling a lie, I ask him to calm down. and he went on to say that I was not sick because I wasn't sick On December 28, 2020 that I came by the store and I told him that wasn't true and he ask me what's the name of the hospital were my husband was being treated at I told him that was private, he started saying things to me and I said some things back to him. and hung up the phone then ten minutes later their was a knock at my door ring my door bell A white man with a beard knocking on my door ringing my door bell saying I here with the sheriff department to pick up the merchandise open the door Mrs Oliver It took me a while to walk to my kitchen because I have bad knees I stood there in my kitchen window looking at him he was driving a Orange mustang. he had on a dark blue shirt he then walk around the back and started knock on the back door. I had a weapon in my hand just incase he tried to bust in my house Now I Mrs Jamie Oliver have health issues and is a mental health patient, I started to call the police on him because he was threatening me while he was knocking on my door. Terrible unprofessional customer service from manager named Ron at 3411 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo NY location
Your store manager, at the Buffalo NY location on Bailey Avenue was very rude & extremely unprofessional. He became very combative with me concerning a payment that was made on this past Saturday, 1/16/21. I spoke w/an employee named "LaNeal" or "Oneal" who assisted me over the phone w/making a confirmed payment amt of 257.70. The payment was due on Friday 1/15/21, however by the time I thought of making the payment the store had already closed for the day. I went online to make the payment but the late fee amt was already assessed. Therefore, I called & spoke w/the above mentioned employee & he confirmed w/me over the phone the payment late fee would be waived & processed to my understanding, the payment of 257.70 minus the late fee amt. The employee LaNeal stated verbally the payment amt of 257.70 & when asked about a receipt he said one would be sent to my email address. The very next day I checked my bank acct & realized I had been charged the late fee which I was told would be waived for the months payment. The late fee amt has been previously waived for me with no issues so I was amazed at how the manager acted when I expressed to him I had spoken w/another employee on Sunday, 1/17/21 named Manzi or Manzy & he said he would leave a note for the manager, Ron to have him void the payment on Monday, 1/18/21 & all I would need to do is remake the payment once I see the funds have been returned to my acct. I checked my bank acct today & noticed the payment of 282.38 was still reflected on my acct. I immediately called the store & the employee (LaNeal) answered phone. He right away apologized for his error w/the payment he processed & further said he wasn't paying attention & in error the 282.38 was processed instead of the agreed or confirmed amount of 257.70. LaNeal said Ron hadn't taken care of the error yet but assured me it would be done before end of day. As the day went on I decided to callbck to make sure the error would be corrected this day & Ron answered & to my disbelief he all but called me a liar. He said the employee adamantly told me the amt I would be paying is the original amt of 282.38 & that is absolutely not true! I know what was expressed & agreed upon; otherwise I would' of made the payment online instead of contacting the office & I've spoken w/two different employees in regards to my concern. If it was agreed upon to make a payment of 282.38 why am I calling to confirm the late fee waiver? I felt something was apparently wrong w/the manager he sounded very unstable. Had he been drinking on drugs or what? I've never experienced such disregard for customer satisfaction or regard. I was treated very disrespectfully & I am amazed. I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER, NO REASON TO BE TREATED THE WAY YOUR MANAGER TREATED ME. I AM APPALLED & IT WILLL BE PUBLICLY BROUGHT TO LIGHT.

Matress
I bought a mattress from the location on Little York, put some money down and it was later delivered. Two months after I bought it I decided to take off the protective cover and found that the mattress was torn and had wear and tear marks all over. I called the store and the store manager argued that the contract stated it was pre-owned. I looked over the contract and it clearly states the condition of the mattress was supposed to be new, and called her back. She still argued that it was not, so I decided to to tell her I wanted to return the mattress and wanted a refund to which she got loud and said that wasn't possible. Overall I received horrible customer service and I find that it is unfair the mistake was not made on my end and it still wasn't resolved. The store manager lied when I made the purchase and that was unethical. I'm very unhappy with Aaron's and the way they treat their customers so I will be posting on all my social media platforms about this terrible experience as well as the racist manager that talked to me as if I didn't understand because of my ethnicity.
Desired outcome: I would simply like a refund.
