Your Customer Service and C-Suite
I had a simple request. Copies of 2 receipts > 3 months old. Talked to and emailed 800-go-beyond 6-8 times and spoke to supervisors. Standard answer was "you'll have them in 24-48 hours. Nothing ever happened. Called the C-suite 5 times already (Mr. Tritton's assistant 3X and Gregg Melnick 2X and Lynda Markoe 1X. NO response. In my opinion Bed Bath & Beyond has the wort customer service and the most uncaring C-suite of any company I have ever dealt with in my life.

I purchased this item last January from Bed Bath and Beyond.
After about one month the knifes started to rust.
I sent an email to their customer service department but I never received a reply.
Called several times but it was impossible to go through.
I was on hold forever and I could never speak to a rep.
When I was finally able to talk to them was past more than their 3 months return policy, and they refused to exchange or credit my account.
The knifes are totally rusted, unfortunately I need to throw them away.
I bought so many items from BBB since last December. I thought at least they will be loyal to a good customer.
Desired outcome: Refund or exchange for a better Zwilling knife set.
Expired product date
I am a retiree with no means of transportation. I have been ordering multiple boxes of Timothy's Donut Blend K-cup coffee pods online for probably about a year. With each delivery I check each box and have found at least one of the boxes has an expired best-before date. I then have had to go through the tiresome and inconvenient process of returning and replacement the defective item.
Today I took delivery of my most recent order (CAN7180903037) and on opening the package found that each of the four boxes in the order had an expired best-before date and am livid that I have to go through the same return/replacerment process as with each of my previous orders.
Not only am I annoyed and inconvenienced by these oversights on the part of the employees processing the orders but the company is likely losing money with each order.
Desired outcome: Apology and partial compensation for my repeated inconvenience.
Clothes steamer order
I ordered a clothes steamer on apr 30, 2022. I did not get recieve a confrimation, my order disappeared, had to csll several times cause no one could take my information, after repeating multiple times. I have to call several times. I was told it was processed don't know why.

Salt crystal lamps
I needed some "battery operated salt crystal lamps." I have purchased three plug-in ones from Bed Bath & Beyond in the past, but needed battery operated this time around I typed in battery operated salt crystal lamps, and came upon Bed Bath & Beyond with pictures of them, which I purchased. I have moved; therefore, I kept the lamps in their boxes until I unpacked other items. Once I got around to opening the boxes for the salt lamps, I found that they are NOT battery operated, but plug in. I bought them under the guise of my search, as battery operated. I immediately called Bed Bath & Beyond Customer Service and spoke with someone, who told me to box them up, print a return label he emailed to me, and return them to a UPS store. I told him I never even took one out of the box, because once I opened the lid, I saw the plug — so they were still new in the boxes. I took the time to print off the return label, find a larger box to put the two, smaller boxes in, drive to the UPS store, and return them. Well today, I get a box, open it up, and there are the two same lamps. There was a note in the bill of lading, highlighting that the return was attempted 60 days past the date of purchase, and being "electrics," they wouldn't take it. So why did the guy in Customer Service tell me to go through all those motions to return them? It's not like I'm a serial returner or something. It was just an honest time gap that happened, because I was moving. I swear the lack of customer service/customer satisfaction for something as simple as this is absurd. So with a new house, comes new purchases: linens, towels, kitchen gadgets, decor, etc. — I will not be purchasing any of those things from Bed Bath & Beyond. As a (once) loyal, good customer, I am angry that they said they were going to make an exception, made me go to the trouble of sending them back, and then just had them plopped back on my doorstep.
Desired outcome: All I wanted was to return the lamps -- new, still in original packaging, never used, to get a store credit
Home delivery purchase a nightmare!
Ordered a $900 headboard with platform bed showing a delivery within 7 days. No delivery. Customer service seems to be outsourced out of the country. They only know "buzz words" such as "Rest assured" and never resolve any issue, just repeat what you say, do nothing and even argue with you. No regular agent will help you with a home delivery item and a "specialist" has to call or email you within 36 hours. The "specialist" is a guy named AJ in his home with all the home sounds going on. Finally after a few days told First order was canceled by warehouse so must order again. Website shows customer canceled order though. Order again two weeks into process and then crickets. Then item suddenly delivered via FedEx Ground, not home delivery, with no warning and it is a previously damaged item as smashed box corner was patched up with cardboard. Inside the leg was broken off and leather torn in that corner. When you call to initiate return not only did the regular BBB agent but also the home delivery guy tells you that you are lying and that item is still being processed and can not be there! WHAT?! Then when the guy finally believes you that item is there he still wants to just come up with a story that this item was going to someone else, delivered by mistake and your order still in process. Takes almost a week to get damaged item off my front porch. Once again crickets for 12 days and still no bed. You can't get a US agent to help you and they have ZERO idea where your order and when it will be shipped. Factual Negative reviews you try to post on BBB website are kicked back as do not follow their guidelines. I still do not have the item ordered almost 2 months ago. SAVE YOURSELF HUGE AMOUNTS OF FRUSTRATION and just purchase large ticket items anywhere else but at BBB. This place is only good for in store purchases.

Discriminatory action by store employee
My spouse and I recently shopped at this location (STORE# [protected] N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33306) on Saturday, April 9, 2022. As a relations specialist for a global corporation for over 19 years, I was appalled with our interaction with the cashier, Helen. Our initial approach to the checkout area was greeted by a leering face lacking anything resembling customer service. In fact, she did not speak or acknowledge us, and her eyes spoke of an individual who is all too comfortable with discriminating against people of race, sexual orientation, etc. She grabbed our product, cashed us out, tossed the item in a bag and onto the counter. Additionally, she shoved the receipt towards us without saying a word. With that being said, this behavior was reprehensible, and no individual deserves to be treated in this manner. It is highly likely that we are not the first customers to experience this attempted degradation by Helen. I implore Bed Bath & Beyond to fully research and address this individual. They are a damaging representation of what your company stands for and thus should be mitigated in all haste. At the very least we are deserving of an apology for Helen's behavior. I gave Helen one star because no star review was allowed. If you're ever shopping at this location, please avoid Helen at all costs.

I was at the BBB in Clive, Iowa on 3/2/22 around 2:30 PM. I witnessed a female employee, berate the young man at the cash register, for making an error on a return he processed. She was yelling at him, at the register for all customers to hear and witness. It was an exercise in humiliation for that young man. With jobs so plentiful these days, I hope that young man quit. It was so inappropriate. There has to be an office she could have taken him to, and a better manner of correcting him. Since the pandemic, I rarely go out and shop. This incident, will be my last time at BBB. With Amazon selling all things BBB, I would think you would value the in store service more than that.

Refund
I bought a product in september 2021 and the product fell apart after 1 wash. I then called bbb to explain the situation and I was told that I would receive a refund for the item. Well a month later and still no refund. I then call again and I was told that they never received the item and I said that the last agent never said to return it and I never received anything on how to return it. I then return the item and now I am being told that it is beyond the time to return it. I informed them that their agent messed up and never told me to return the item or how to return it. So now here it is february 2022 and I am still fighting for my refund.

Therapedic TENCEL Temperature Perfection Queen Mattress Pad
We purchased this new mattress pad on Feb.5,2022 ,Order CAN3883874252.
We noticed several dirt/grease streaks thru out the top.
My wife said, I like the Product, and I think I can wash these out.(COVID PRECAUTIONS).
She removed the tags and confidently tried to clean off these strains," with no success."
With upcoming Hip Surgery, we need this cover now, and installed it on our Bed.
We do not want to dismantle it from the Bed now due to current health conditions.
We do not want to return this product at this time, but we are not happy with living with this clean(but Stained) Pad on our bed.
Is it possible to send us a new (unstained) pad.

We were shopping at the store in Avondale, Az. at 10060 W. McDowell Rd. Went in to purchase a towel mat for our bathroom and found the mat. When we were shopping, my wife needed to use the restroom and was told that the restroom was not "public". Not sure what she meant, so we put the mat back and went next door to DSW and used their restroom. Looked around DSW for a bit and decided not to return to the BBB and give this store our business. Amazing why your stores are hurting.

Refund never posted to credit card and I threw away receipt
On 10/26/2021 I purchased electric fireplace from bed bath & beyond. Total amount was $1621.45. The item arrived damaged and as per policy I requested to have this item returned. Even though I was eligible for fedex pickup which I requested multiple times but did not get any pickup, I was forced to make a store return. 11/10/2021 - My BF and my son had to take 3 very large boxes to our local bed bath and beyond store for a return. Address: 24450 Village Walk Pl, Murrieta, CA 92562. Manager was assisting them and it was impossible for them not to be seen by everyone since what they were carrying was gigantic and required multiple employees assistance to process the refund. Bed bath and beyond did provide a return receipt that I unfortunately did not keep. I have never experienced an issue where a refund did not post and when cleaning the next day, I threw the receipt out. 11/19/2021 - After seeing that no refund has posted to my American Express card, I got concerned and called the local store. I was told there is nothing they can do for me, the refund was processed and I would have to call my credit card. 11/19/2021 - I submitted dispute to Wells Fargo and provided all needed information. Dispute # [protected] 12/26/2021 - I received notice from Wells Fargo that my dispute is closed and that I am responsible for the charge due to not having evidence. There is nothing else they can do for me and my only action is to work this out with bed bath and beyond. Which I already tried and was told to contact my credit card company.
I am hereby asking for assistance in receiving credit that is owed to me. Bed bath and beyond has video cameras and I can provide an approximate time as well as pictures of my BF and my son. It is impossible not to identify them on camera simply due to the size of the boxes and the amount of them not to mention see other associates on camera assisting. You can clearly see my BF left without the item.

I purchased this navage nasal cleaner and they said it would be delivered same day. So I waited only to not receive my package. So I tried to contact them only to be placed on hold for almost two hours online. When the online chat did not work I tried to contact them on the phone only to be told it would be about another hour on hold. So when I finally got some one on the phone she was rude and kept interrupting me every time I would try to say something. Credit Card charged but product not delivered & was cancelled by BBB
I placed an order on 12/5/21 to be sent to a friend's address. Since I had not heard from them, I checked the BBB site to see when it was delivered only to find out that the order was cancelled. BBB either cancelled the wrong order, they just cancelled my order by mistake. I called BBB 3 times. First call I was disconnected. Second call I was put on hold for 42 minutes only to be told that it was a problem with MY credit card. I called my credit card company & they stated they did NOT deny the order. Third call to BBB was over an hour and a half in length & I was not provided with a satisfactory answer as to why my order was cancelled, yet my card was charged $238.45 AND the item was NOT delivered on 12/7/21. I was told by BBB that the charge would be removed within 3 to 5 business days from the date it was ordered & its now 12/12/21 & the charge remains on my credit card. I was also told that I, NOT BBB, would have to call my credit card company to correct this & reverse the charge because the order was cancelled. How was my credit card to know the order was cancelled? They said my name was flagged because the credit card information or address was inaccurate. Now, I MUST wait 48 hours to have my name removed from a "do not honor" list so I can place an order again. AND, I just happened to order another item on BBB on 12/12/21 only to find out that they will NOT honor THIS ONE as well. I checked my credit card info, address, & pertinent info on BBB site & all was correct. I also sent emails to BBB HELP/CHAT, with no results. BBB reference # [protected]
Desired outcome: Provide me with a satisfactory reason for cancelling my order. If reordered in 48 hours, after my name is cleared, make sure the products are shipped before Christmas.
