pharmacy and general store now..
You are failing filling rx correctly. Not showing correct refill. Not telling me rx is ready. Have to call prescribe to re-prescribe. Have to be on hold for one hour for various general or pharmacy or manager or anyone... 1 person at the store only.. She sounds like a child. I keep being on hold. You do not seem to be a quality company anymore. You change. Now you say I have to keep adding to the complaint here as I continue to hold and you are taking up my whole life and minutes... I still have not proof my rx is ready... No text like you always send me. Blah blah blah store 169...
receipt
To whom it may concern,
I have gone to cvs a few times this month, both retail side and pharmacy. Upon getting my receipt I realized that my receipt was pretty long, I thought it was a bit of a waste of paper but I see you want to give your customers coupons. Today however, I went to the pharmacy and the receipt got even longer and i'm talking ridiculously long. 5'3 to be exact. I've attached a photo and I just think that with this enverionmental crisis going on. This receipt is pretty wasteful and makes cvs seem very unaware of their carbon footprint.
Sincerely,
Concerned customer
the phone in refill request for medications.
The pharmacy changed to a new phone in refill request about 3 months ago. This new system had not worked properly since being implemented. After using the system and then going to pick up your meds, staff say no record of refill request. They admit to on-going complaints re: to above but have not done anything to resolve the problem. This is a inconvenience...

This pharmacy has lost my son's scrips on multiple occasions. We are even reassured by various pharmacy employees that something would be filled and then the do not fill it. It is absolutely crazy. I don't understand how it can be run this poorly... We waste so much time trying to make sure something would get filled. We have had to have our doctor call I...

On Saturday, November 2, 2019 @ 7:22 p.m., I went to the above CVS location (Store #: 6054) with my mother to purchase a couple of items. When we arrived at the register (Register #02/Cashier #: 1766795) that was assigned to Jake, he rang up our items. My mother was going to pay for the items using her OTC card. I realized that some of the items my mother...

Call today to get my prescriptions filled and was treated very rude. The 2 woman I spoke to were very rude. They told me my 1 medication only had a 30 day fill, which I need to have a 90 day fill as this is how my insurance pays. She said for me to contact my doctor to expedite request for 90 days faster. Kept telling her if they could contact my doctor...

I have been a loyal customer of CVS pharmacy for over 15 years. I moved from MA to CA about 4 years ago and have been with this one CVS location the whole tiime. Since switching to this pharmacy I have had trouble getting one particular prescription almost every month. I have been on this medication the entire time. My doctor sends in the prescription and the pharmacist says they have not received it. It is sent in multiple times and then I'm told it needs to be sent a different way or they need verbal confirmation. My doctor's office always responds, but somehow there is a disconnect in the pharmacy and I eventually have to get a paper prescription, waiting up to over a week without medication. It is always approved from my doctor and other doctors in the case of a drug interaction.
Yesterday ( Sat. November 2, 2019)I called in a refill for my Librax prescription. My CVS bottle says I have one refill remaining. The automated message said " your prescription needs approval from your doctor and will be filled by Wednesday ". This was not acceptable to me because I was out of medication. Without this medication my symptoms worsen exponentially. I spoke with the pharmacist in person who pulled up my chart and says that I have no more refills. That is not what the automated response said. If I had not asked about it I would have been waiting 5 days without medication and not understanding why. I told the pharmacist that my bottle says I have one refill remaining. The pharmacist said that controlled substances can only have 3 months of refills. If that is true why does the bottle say I have a refill? How is someone supposed to know this policy?
Also when I saw my doctor last month he submitted a new prescription with 5 refills. This is evidently not in your system. Again a problem that I was completely unaware of.
Now I have to wait until Monday and get a paper prescription from my doctor and bring it in.
I have been told by CVS staff that I cannot call in a refill for a controlled substance before it is due so what do I need to do to not run out of medication ?
If your store has policies about refilling certain medications why aren't you sharing that policy with your customers?
I would appreciate a response with your refill policy in detail so that I can understand what needs to be done prior to getting my prescription.
Thank you
Jennifer Sharkey

11/2/2019 Today I went to pick up a prescription, which I assumed was one of my usual ones. When I got home and took it out of the bag, I saw it was something I told them to remove from my account over six months ago! I took this stuff back and they refused to refund my money, telling me they couldn't take it back, that the dr. Called it in! Not only could...

I drop a prescription refill off yesterday(Thurs 10/31). I told the young man at the window no rush, it's not due for refill until tomorrow, Friday(11/1). I log into my account at the website this morning @ 11. The status says call in for refill. I thought that odd since I gave instructions to the guy previously. So I waited until 1PM, and checked again...

I have never been so angry! I went to my regular cvs store in cedartown, they were out of my pain medicine. Stated it would be 2 weeks before they had it back in (out of forms). I asked them where I could get them filled. I then tried walmart, they wouldn't fill because I use cvs! I called the cedartown store back for some help she the told me to go to cvs on maple street in rome ga. I drove 20+ miles to cvs in rome. Cvs there wouldn't fill my scripts because my doctor is "out of town"! That is just crazy! I finally ended up driving another 30+ miles to go back to the town where my doctors are (cartersville, ga)! They filled them, finally!
I do not understand the issue with narcotic meds, if u have the multi-security paper and a id why couldn't any cvs fill my meds?! I'm in your computer system, they can see the last date filled an that I fill them every month! This doesn't make sense! A normal trip to my pharmacy took over 2 hours and 60+ miles out of my way!
If you take these type meds for years, you cannot do without them! Not only would you be in withdrawals but could possibly die! I think your rules need to be rethought for people who actually do not abuse their meds!
I have pain med script for over 3 years now .Cvs on bankhead hwy.Carrollton ga.Told me were out of meds and could
not order untill monday because new pharmacy manager wouldnt be in untill 8am missing man from manufacture
who gets in earlyer .Today is thursday. Was told meds wouldnt be available untill next wednesday or thursday. Also
couldnt tell me where i could script filled in one of their other stores but to have dr. send script to other pharmacy.

Around 11am-12pm I tried to purchase a bottle of alcoholic wine on November 1st 2019. The cashier accepted my ID which was completely valid. She was about to continue the purchase when she made a very rude mocking face. I became slightly annoyed and told her that "I cannot help that I look young." She replied that she could refuse service to me and I asked...

I had 2 prescriptions for my mother through hospice. I was told they needed more time -15 min. 20 min later, they called my name only to tell me they could only fill one. I went into CVS on Cloverdale to return some items, (a wrist brace, a black ace bandage roll, and a set of magnetic eyelashes) and to get change for a $5 bill, which I had all of the items in a little white bag. Been with cvs pharmacy for many many years, I have never been treated so unprofessionally or rudely. I hate complainers!!!, but can't let this one go. That this person is allowed to behave the way she did to a customer...

This is not the first time I have had an issue with filling my prescriptions. However, this most recent time is a huge ball drop on their part. I had a corneal debridement on my left eye on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Misinformed and unhelpful staff; especially the heavy set Caucasian male with the dyed hair. Dr. Orest kozicky's office sent a 3 month prescription for Polyethylene glycol 3350 NF powder to this pharmacy on 10/21. The reason that I like CVS is because I have always had such great customer service with everyone there. They have all gone above and beyond to give me the best prices checking all the good RX and just going above and beyond.
