filthy store! 1028 us, highway, 27 s avon park fl
I don't write reviews or complaints on any stores. Does this store even have a Manager, and is there a District Manager that goes around checking stores under his/her District? It doesn't show that anyone really cares about this store, and most importantly Customers. The store's floors are filthy. Looks like it hasn't been mopped in a long while. There are dry black drippings of who knows what in front of the empty coolers. There are boxes throughout the isles empty and with merchandise that wouldn't fit on the shelves just left there. Why leave excess on the floor? Why not take it to the back. You have to look at the shelves. Nothing is faced, everything in disarray. Most of the shelves are empty. How does this store make money? The sidewalk in front of the store with trash. Put a trash can in front of the store! It's not my job to take fotos or videos of the store. Get someone down there to get this store to the highest standards so that we the customer can return. My wife and I, first time in this store and we were totally grossed out. Never to return.

Dollar Store #7013
Address: 425 W Baseline Rd, Tempe AZ [protected]
Compliant against Sales Associate: Jamie AND Manager/Supervisor: Corrie
Date:4/28/18
Time: 19:08
Transaction ID: [protected] [protected]
Associate Jamie didn't say any Hi or hello and NO Thank you and made faces and was rude. Didn't even look at us.
And when called the store manager Corrie, she said "Go Ahead and complaint and hung up"
Dollar Tree or any other store should screen employees for customer service before hiring.
That gives a Black Spot on Dollar Tree.
Thanks
customer service
Cashier/stocker she has an attitude. Everytime you go into the store she automatically has a look on her face when I enter with my mixed child. I went to go check out at the register and Nadine rang up my purchase, I paid for it. Then she handed my change. I looked in my hand to see there was pennies. I placed them on the counter for the next customer. She told me that they are not allowed to be there and I needed to take them. I was so pissed I threw them on the ground outside. Since when did it become a problem to help someone who may be less fortunate. I hate this store! This is the store located @ Orange Grove and pondella, fort Myers FL
work
cashiers
they are vague they do not want to do anything there is always only one box open the others sitting without doing anything and they are malgriadas must put more Hispanic in this store that they want to work because those who are only there are killing time and making money without doing nothing and also always this basia never have anything if not that they steal it they take it they have to investigate this store.
upper management (store 4412)
My son was hired at Dollar Tree. This was his first job. He enjoyed what he had to do at his job, stocking shelves. He is high functioning Autistic and liked doing something that was not stressful. The management is where my complaint is. My son had to come in at 6 am. The manager was always 15 mintutes late (he unlocked the door) and in turn, that makes my son 15 mintues late. My son still liked the job. When they asked if he would work the midnight shift, he said sure. This was to unload the truck. If the truck was not showing up, the manager NEVER called him. This happened on at least 4 occasions. My son would call and text him, but he never returned his phone call. The managers reasoning, "I don't really check my phone on my days off." My son did get sick and miss work. When he returned back, he ended up leaving early because of still not feeling well. He was told to come in the next day. When he did, while waiting in the car, the district manager had him unroll his window and told him he was fired. The district manager told my son, my autistic son, HE WAS FIRED THROUGH A WINDOW! My son was on sensory overload because of the rudeness of the district manager. He never sat my sun done, talked to him. Asked him what's going on. Just fired him and chewed him out on how he can't work a shift. Even though he would come to work and wait for 20 minutes because the manager would not let him know he did not have to work.
I am so fed up with this store. I will never go to a Dollar Tree again. I will never speak nice of the store because of how the upper management treats their employees.
I really hope upper management receives training how to properly act and treat their employees, especially those with a disability.
customer service/ open registers
When shopping ay the Dollar Tree in Marysville, WA, Store Number 4285 this evening (6:38 PM to be exact), there was only 1 Sales Associate and the Store Manager available for the vast amount of patrons in the store.
The Sales Associate Virginia was very pleasant, especially considering the circumstances! The Store Manager on the other hand was the complete opposite. I say this because I walked over to him after waiting in line already for at (the very least) 5 minutes where he happened to be at the register furthest from the door in front of his office and seemed to be completely oblivious to the very long line which had formed (I was the 9th customer in line with customers getting in line behind us which were climbingthe number of paying patrons to approximately 20 (and continuing to grow). When i approached the Manager I politely informed him thathe had customers all the way half down the aisle. He told me that he'd step up as soon as he was finished with his "project". He never stepped in to assist the customers who (I must admit) were beginning to grumble. My request was completely ignored. We stood in line for (again, at the very LEAST) 15 minutes. Of course, my shopping basket was full and had spent a significant amount of time choosing the products I wanted to purchase, therefore instead of leaving the store due to the lack of service I opted to wait.
Virginia was awesome! She remained calm, professional and showed her gratitude of us sticking it out and continuing with our purchases. The Manager's attitude and complete lack of customer service was absolutely appalling. This was the worst shopping experience I've ever encountered at any Dollar Tree EVER. I happen to be a big fan of your stores and have shopped with you in many different cities and states. I will be surprised if my complaint is the only one you'll recieve about this particular store. I hope that you may congratulate Virginia ob her terrific performance and that the Manager is spoken to. Had this been my first visit to one of your stores it may well have been my last. Just because I (and hundreds of thousands others) enjoy your store prices we shouldn't be treated as less than I would've been treated at had I preferred to shop with Rite Aid or another large chain.
Also, it is my hope that you will take this letter seriously and perhaps put this stores Manager through some type of customer service and communication trainings.
Thank you for reading this.
Best Regards
Christina L Bennett
The store is always a mess
Today I went into the Clifton park store as I often do and every single time I go there it is nearly impossible to get to anything I am going there for. They have carts loaded with merchandise to be stocked, I went into this store for specific items and walked out with Nothing! Every thing I wanted I could not get too, the store is always a mess and while there the manager Cindy took a phone call and not in her office she was standing near the registers and it was clear the call was about the mess the store was in because this manager was actually yelling at this customer and after the call she made it clear to her clerks that she has been dealing with complete idiots today and that she had numerous complaints about the mess. I have attached some photos. I get that they have to stock shelves but no one in the store was doing anything about it and they had 1 register open with employees standing around with the manager talking about customers. I HAD all I could do from approaching this manager as I was afraid she would tell at me. I will not make any other trips to this store, it is a complete mess and poor customer service. Something needs to be done about this store
I have been in many of your stores and never have I seen a mess like this.
manager of store #2451 in picayune, ms
I was shopping in Store #2451 at 231 Frontage Road in Picayune, MS on Sunday 4/22 at about 1 p.m. There were six people in line, all with buggies full, with only cashier open, who was doing her best, but shecalled out for another cash register to be opened. The other lady who was working there was obviously ignoring her, so after several minutes, I called out in my loud (but polite voice), "We need another cashier up here". The other lady did come and open a second register. After I checked out and was loading my purchases into my car, that second lady followed me out to my car to reprimand me for calling out for another cashier. She said that she was the store manager and was on an important phone call. I advised her, having worked in retail myself, that your customers come first and that her own cashier had called out for help and she ignored her. I informed her that my shadow would never grace her store's doorway again and that she needed a class in customer service (I averaged $50 in purchases every weekend).
dollar tree rose hill, washington
I had the worst experience three days ago when I stop by at Dollar Tree five minutes till 9. Before I went their I checked online at what time they closed because off course I don't want to be their five minutes to closing time. So I checked and it said they closed at 10pm. I got their five till 9pm. Three minutes went by and they made the announcement they where closed already that we needed to take are items to the register. So I was only getting some napkins as I was gathering the paper towels. This guy came up to my face literally and said the store is closed! You need to get out. And I said excuse me? He said you need to ge our now the store is closed! And we got in an argument because I thought he was a homeless his aspect was so horrible. He literally looked like a homeless. After the argument I went to the register and their was someone before me which was still in the store getting more stuff. I waited 10min to get ringed up. How do they want me to leave he store if nobody is helping me. The worst experience and I really hope this person get a working its not the right way to ask someone to leave. As I was leaving people where trying to get in because of course online it said they closed at 10pm.
service
I've called several people about problems with the store manager being rude and disrespectful to her employees and costumers and nothing has ever been done about her the store is ridiculous and how she is with costumers is awful just want people to know how she truly is she thinks she better than everyone in the store belittles everybody like they dont know how to do there job... she has her head cashier living with her and always give her the most hours and all they extra ones when there available I think this is no way to treat people or run a store something needs to be done about her
a cashier.
Well I have shop d at plenty of dollar trees in Tennessee and Florida and always had a friendly cashier that was extremely nice. Well I moved to Detroit and stared shopping at the Dollar tree located at 6138 West Vernor Hwy. There are several friendly nice cashier's there but there is a certain one lady that is always rude. Everytime I go through her line she always has an attitude and it's not just to me either. A few days a go my son went through her line with his friend and she was very rude. Well today my 5 yes old child went through her line since no one else was in line and she walked over alittle and this cashier kept saying to my child are you in line or not really rude. Well my child was .06 cents short and this cashier handed her 1.00 back not giving me time to give her the change. The guy behind her handed her the .06 cents and we didn't even get a thank you come back. For goodness sakes the customer was a child. I'm sick and tired of this rude lady. I'm at the point of stop shopping at Dollar Tree period and I shop there several times a week but I can take my business elsewhere where.
discrimination, harassment, false accusations
It was my fourth time coming back to Dollar Tree, i was told the district manager didn't like that, for whatever reason, i was targeted for termination, always being spoken to for something, for example my manager said the pants i was wearing were not uniform, i had worked for the company previously 3 other seperate times, i also have seen and currently see present employees even managers wearing the same pants i was, what my manager claimed, was not in the handbook or a policy, i was told to complete unrealiztic tasks that i was punished for when they did not get completed. I never received my annual 10 cents raise, every other time i worked there i never receieved an increase of pay, was always paid $7.35 an hour, and had to first go around looking, find, and buy my own uniform shirt because they do not give you one, OR you could pay for a cheaply made overpriced one.
I am complaining about a very rude cashier
She threw my money at me and told me to get out of the store she works at the153 dollar tree and her name is bobbi i just hope that my complaints can be heard she was quite rude to the customers behind me as well please do something about her i would hate to stop going to the dollar tree in Hixson i want my experience of my family and friends to be nice and sweet but i felt hostility towards me
manager
I am a 60 year old diabetic man. I have shopped at the Dollar Tree location on Missouri Av in Clearwater Florida since it opened. Today I was shopping (approx. $50.00) for frozen food, cleaners, and glassware. I while I was shopping, I needed to go to the restroom, as I have at this store many times over the years. Today the restroom was locked. I went to the front of the store to request the key and was told the manager no longer allowed customers to use the bathroom. I asked to speak to the manager, but he was no available. I was forced to abandon my buggy full of frozen food and leave the store. I was forced to go two doors down to use a public restroom. Once there I was forced to clean myself where I had soiled my paints, then return home to shower and change clothes.
I drove across town to another Dollar Tree store to make my purchases. Guess what, they have a clean public restroom. I am VERY upset over this thoughtless decision your store manager made. Please note that I intend to share this story with my AARP and Facebook friends. Largo is populated by a vast majority of retirees like myself ( on medication that doesn't allow them a lot of time to spare when they need to relieve themselves. I have never been forced to soil myself and I find this to be very discriminatory to older Americans. 🤬
I look forward to your response.

my backpack was stolen from the are where they check in bags!!!
On friday april 13, 2018 around 2pm, I was in dollar tree in ne washington dc area.
I check my backpack in with the gentleman at the door he gave me a clothes pin with a number on it. I proceeded to shop around, I got to the cashier paid for my things went to get my bag from the gentleman and he could not find it. He went to talk to the "manager" that was on duty at the time and then she told me I have to wait on the "district manager". So as we my 3 year old grandson and my 13 year old daughter are waiting for like 15-20, then the "manger" comes back out the office to tell me that the "district manager" is stuck in traffic I can wait or come back. Yes I chose to leave to take the kids home and I got home around 4pm and call the police to report my things was stolen but to find out that the store "manger" should have called and made a report while I was there. I then call the store and by this time i'm talking to the dm, not to mention that the dm told me the guy came back empty handed and mention that his girl has the wrong bag and he was there to get his bag! No that he needs his bag! And yes the dm gave him his bag back on the note of knowing that 1 he don't have my bag in return for his bag.
From 4/13/18 to now its 4/24/2018 I have been calling...

I finally spoke with him on friday 4/20/18 about 3:30 and he was suppose to call the police to make a report and call me back with the report number.
Like I said it is tuesday april 24, 2018 and I have not heard anything form no one! Not the corporate office, dm, nor the police
I am very up set do to the fact that my persons was in the dollar tree hands and they allow someone else to take bag and they have
No remorse nor concern at all

employee
I went shopping at my regular dollar tree in CA. I had a cart full of items that matched my coupons. I got up to the register and the cashier was super rude called me names. Said comments like "can you not read fime print" the coupon said 1 per transaction. It never said 1 per day so I asked him if he could show me the policy where it said 1 per day. He refused to show me the policy and told me that if I didnt pay for the rest of my stuff (stuff I didn't get to use coupons for) that he would have the manager kick me put permanently. Is there anything you can do? I spent over 100$ and I had coupons for everything
unethical employee behaviour
On April 20, 2018 at around 2 o'clock I went to shop at the Dollar Tree Store in Taos, New Mexico. While checking out with my purchases I was approached by an employee by the name of Mylinda Concha who told me that I was not supposed to be in the store and that I had to leave. I then proceeded to pay for my items when she proceeded to scold me in front of other customers and employees. I then told her that I had never been told to stay out of the store or or did anything to be told to stay out of the store. She continued to argue with me stating that I should I should take care of all my kids. I then started to leave when my cashier told me to contact their manager on Monday because the incident was totally uncalled for and she had no reason to leave her register to argue with me. If you look on your store camera you will find that I did nothing wrong .
workers/store
I am a regular customer at this store in covington tennessee store number is 00543. I have been coming to this store for sometime and this store has went down hill I am about to the point I am going to start shopping at another dollar tree because one has gotten so bad with employees not in right uniform. On their phones while on the clock. The restrooms are one of the nasty places in there! I seriously don't think anyone cleans them. I think if your an employee of the dollar tree you should be in proper uniform and not wearing hats unless it is a work hat. I went into the store a couple of times and there was this young white guy that looked to me to be on some kind of drugs or drunk. The store it's self isn't clean 98%of the time you have some workers that are working then others that are just standing around doing nothing. 98%of the employees has earphones in while working. I was in this store again saturday around 11:00 or 11:30 on 4-21-18 and there a young white guy just standing around all I could get was the first couple letters of his name it was jo. So if you could please address these issues it would be greatly approximated.
cashier
I saw a cashier standing and asked her if her register was open since her ligh was on but she was looking outside. She didn't respond, so I started unloading my buggy, then she said kind of under her breath, "no I'm just standing here for no reason" so I said "what?" And she looked at me and said "what?" Very very rudely. After that only thing she said was "30.70" also very rudely. People like that do not need to work as cashiers, but be somewhere where they don't interact with people. This is the Sevierville, Tn store #2911 and her name is Cierra, well at least that's what on my receipt.
