Very disrespectful and mean. I hunged up the phone and called again, thank goodness to Jazz and Bernadette, they helped me right away, took care of the issue RIGHT AWAY. I really appreciate these people who really helps and shows very good customer service. I love EBAY but I am not pleased and happy with how this SONJA represented you guys. I hope other customers didn't have to experience this.
Ebay's Fraudulent claims of Free Return Moneyback Guarantee.
Back in July of 2019, I made a good faith purchase in total of $153.07. The item listed was described as fully functional. Of course when I received the item, it was not as advertised. Even the photos they used didn't match. I immediately contacted the seller, for a refund. The seller told me to take it to Ebay... so I did. They told me that I have to pay for the return shipping, even though it is stated "Free Return Moneyback Guarantee". 51 days later, I still have the POS that was shipped to me, and I found the CEO on Twitter (Devin Wenig) talking trash about Amazon, so I publicly let him know the he and his company are frauds. An Ebay Rep by the name of "Ryan" noticed and contacted me on Twitter, and gave me the same busted form letter they gave me at the start. 51 days later, I'm still out over $150.

I sold an item and had a return requested by the buyer. The buyer returned a fraudulent item. Ebay has refused to refused to refund my money. As a first time seller on eBay, I sold a piece of autographed sports memorabilia. After receiving the item, the buyer asked to have it returned and be refunded his money. I agreed to this request, and issued the funds back to him upon receipt of the package. Upon closer examination of the item, I quickly realized that the signature appeared different and took the item in to be looked at by a person who specializes in authenticating signatures. After seeing the item compared with it's previous pictures. He quickly determined that it was fraudulent and that I had received a completely different item than the one I had sent. I quickly reached out to eBay to let them know that there had been a fraudulent return, and that I wanted to stop payment on the refund that I had issued the day before. Ebay told me that they would open a case, and I was assured that the funds would be placed on hold until eBay was able to make a determination on the case. Within two days, I was called and informed that eBay had ruled in my favor and that they would be taking action to issue a refund to my Paypal account. Since then, a month has passed - I have had 5-6 phone calls in which I was assured that eBay was still working to process my refund and that everything was still going as they had said it would. Each customer service representative has been quick to identify what the hold up was, and told me that they would be taking personal control of getting the refund issued to me as well as be updating me on the situation as it evolved. I am still yet to receive a phone call from one of their customer service representatives. Throughout these calls, the story has changed three times - the first story was that it was just a delay of the funds and that I should be seeing them credited back to my account within 5-7 days. The second was that they had accidentally allowed my refund to go through and they had also refunded the buyer (giving him double the amount of money, and the actual item itself) The third and final story that I was told for the first time on May 21st is that the case had actually never progressed past it's infancy due to the fact that I had "voluntarily" issued a refund to the buyer myself. They contended that due to this fact, they weren't liable for any of the issues that had occurred or responsible for distributing funds to either the buyer or the seller. Despite recordings of these calls that they very clearly have access to, they have continued to state that their customer service team isn't at fault for both directly lying to/misleading me about the ability to put funds on hold in the first place. As well as the 5 separate representatives that told me that everything was progressing towards resolution. As referenced above, a month has passed now. Closing my window to try to pursue any alternative routes to recoup my funds, and all I am being told at this point is that "there is nothing they can do." and that "I have no other options. To put the cherry on top - they have also now billed me for a final value fee of $88 for the sale of the item through their website. To clarify - they are charging a percentage for a sale that was canceled, that they acknowledged was fraudulent, and spent a month saying the I was in the right and was going to be reimbursed. Bringing my personal total of losses to just over $800 and the piece of memorabilia itself. And depending on which story they choose to go with - potentially giving the buyer (scammer) over $1, 500 and an item that was valued at over $700. This is the worst customer service experience I have EVER had with any company in any industry. They have continuously neglected to act in good faith and now they have begun to completely deny any responsibility for the "lost" funds. Due to the timing, I am forced to question whether this is just a case of poor customer service, or intentional negligence. As of today, I have begun pursuing legal resolution as well.

I sold my late husbands phone on Ebay. The buyer isaacimohi was not home when Royal Mail tried to deliver. I explained this to him, he was very rude and abusive telling me i had not sent item, when i had tracking evidence. Unfortunately, due ot my husband dying, i wasn't thinking straight and when he said he didn't want the phone i refunded his money (£78) as i presumed Royal Mail would return my item since it hadn't been delivered to him. When i went to check Royal Mail i found out that he collected the item AFTER getting my refund (!st May collection), I then contacted him again requesting payment, he refused and refused to send phone back. i cannot believe that Ebay allowed this person to behave in this manner and was NO help whatsoever, i received conflicting information from Ebay. one week i was told i would get a refund within 5-7 days and when i called 10 days later i was advised all i could do was contact trading standards.. i find the number of years i have been a member and the fraud this man has committed, YET you take HIS side. I am extremely disappointed and have to add i will never sell anything on Ebay, i will use it purely as a buying tool. My late husbands phone has been stolen by a SCAM artist and EBay do nothing.

I received a broken item from a sloppy seller. I let the seller know. I filed NEGATIVE feedback for the seller. The seller started sending me nasty, rude remarks, but on her site claimed she was not able to make me happy.
I look back today and find out on feedback she never received my negative? Wiped off her site? Ebay took the side of this nasty seller, and never sent me an email letting me know they were taking off my NEGATIVE?

What a complete nightmare! Today I wake up and got 6 different notices like as if they sent me the wrong notice! They have suspended my eBay account and limited my paypal account said I have to wait 180 days to recover the money within the account.

bad handling of order never received
I Ordered sunglasses from from a shop on eBay located in the US to China, they were shipped via DHL.
I input the full address in Chinese including my phone number.
For some reason DHL claimed I refused the order but they never contacted me and refused to provide proof.
Ebay didn't accept my dispute and don't allow me to respond to their messages.
I was very dissapointed not to receive the order for over a month. Not even that but eBay weren't willing to hear me out.
This is my first order from eBay and was a terrible experience. This never happened with any other ecommerce platform.
I have had a very similar situation with a sell from the US Sneakar. Fed Ex to deliver - absolutely no communication. But there was a tracking history. I was home when they said they delivered. No one came to the door or anything. I saw no truck that morning. eBay said seller had shown delivery history so case closed. Too bad so sad. No accountability whatsoever. Really disappointed in eBay nowadays.

I just called your representatives to voice my complaint that you relisted 19 of my expired items, and charged me .35 per item. I had no intention of reliating these as ' list til sold'. To make matters worse, you then relisted another five items using my May, 'free listings'. You have some balls. Then, the representative told me that I could have avoided this situation by 'ending sale' a few minutes before the time of the listings. That's your advice? What a ducking joke. I am joining many others who are letting their items expire, and will be off of eBay. I am not here to make money for you. While I am at it, the shake-down of charging a percentage fee of the shipping charges is theft. I recently passed on a 12.35 shipping fee, which cost me 12.50. refunding on fake gold rings
I think there are serious problems at ebay when regular, dispute and appeal representatives cannot follow up or follow through on their own recommendation(s) and promises to get a refund on a fake gold rings sold to me and my son in December and arriving in January 2019.
My son and I purchased at least 60 gold rings from our respective store names at the time, yesteryear09 and earldube_0. When we started receiving them in January they did not look real. So I did an acid assay for 10K and 14K on them as well as soaked them in white vinegar for 24 hours which showed them to be fake gold leaving dark spots, tarnish and loss of gold. I did not know which of the 5 sellers sent which items to us as they all looked similar sent in envelopes with Chinese writing I did not know who sent what. So in order to know who sent which ring, disputes were filed as not received, and these sellers responded that they did send the ring(s) identifying them in their response and I was able to determine who sent what. I noted what I had done to determine which seller sold me what ring and noted all of this new information under each submitted dispute. I also noted that I was not sure now if it mattered that they were filed as not received instead of not as described and got no reply. 30 days go by and I'm told that because I did not ask eBay to step in and help me all of them were closed. Then after eBay read everything in my dispute, they reopened all of the cases and told me I needed to refile all of them as not as described and not to worry because we would get our refunds. So I took pictures and uploaded them to each dispute with an explanation again of what had taken place and why I was resubmitting them not as described. It took me 3 days to get this done. Then 30 days go by and they are all closed because we did not ask eBay to step in and help. I called eBay again and told them what had occurred and we were told not to worry; not that we had to call eBay again and ask them to step in to help. We had already did that and followed eBay's instructions. They were re-opened again and 30 days later we finally started receiving our refunds on items that were paid for and not as described or never received. I asked about the other disputes that were filed and why they were not accepted. I had to talk to disputes and ultimately a person by the name of Ray, a supervisor, who said he would personally re-submit all of the claims that were closed in error and I do not have to worry about anything. I should get the remainder of our refunds within 30 days. Well, wouldn't you know that all but 7 were not reimbursed to us. I explained all of this to an escalations supervisor who said they would help me with all the remaining un-reimbursed claims; those that were not yet refunded back to us were re-opened, and again I was told not to worry Ms. Dube. In 30 days if the seller does not respond you will get your refund. 30 days goes by and I am refunded everything except 4 rings on my son's account that was changed to OUR store in January findingutreasures, and 3 rings on my account yesteryear09 that is in business with my son on findingutreasures now. With Cody's help in Escalations these 4 rings were again resubmitted for a refund this time if the seller did not respond in 5 days to return the items for a refund we would get our money back. He did not respond and Cody called me back as promised with a refund on 3 of the 4 rings. He could not tell me why the fourth ring did not refund and transferred me to Appeals where I spoke with Smairalen who diligently worked on this until she found out the root cause, Case SR1-[protected]. Now I feel like everything is finally over and we received our refunds due. Smairalen will call me to let me know when to expect a refund for this item.
But then I got 3 emails sent to my yesteryear09 account, stating that 3 cases have been closed in March with no explanation, who was awarded what, what the amount is, nothing. I was perplexed as to which 3 cases these could be. So I click on SEE RETURN DETAILS and there is ID information from 1 but none of them at all recorded with any additional information as in all of the other disputes I continually updated and re-submitted the past 4 months. Here are the 3 items:
1) JEWELRY 3.29 CARAT NATURAL GARNET 14KT SOLID WHITE GOLD RINGS SIZE 8.5# has been closed, Seller Gerald Zimmerman.
2) 3.95ct Brilliant Cut Natural Pick Diamond Solid 14 KT Yellow Gold Rings 9# has been closed, Seller Gerald Zimmerman.
3) [protected] Natural Antique 3.23Carat Yellow Sapphire Rings In 14kt Solid Yellow Gold 9# has been closed, Seller cameromaul0.
I called eBay today, April 4th and spoke first to Rhodora in Escalations, who's supervisor Dee, was too busy to speak to me and asked Rhodora to tell me to file for a refund from PayPal. In other words, don't bother me, and have someone else take care of your problem. So I called back and got Ria, asked to speak with her supervisor, Mark who would not even let me speak or explain what happened. He denied everything I was trying to explain to him. I finally had to ask if he was going to let me talk because I'm a customer who is calling to get help. He said he's not going to let me explain and only take what's written on the email as truth. I replied that I would just continue my BBB complaint and include his name and his response to me in the complaint. He said he didn't care what I did. I told Mark to go to hell and hung up. I didn't tell him what I really wanted him to know about his unprofessionalism and rude behavior.
So now I am in April 2019 still trying to get a refund on 3 rings purchased from yesteryear09 account and am no further ahead after calling for 4 months, and am just now finding out that there is a possibility that these 3 items on this account were never followed up by anyone and just left in suspension for 4 months receiving closure in March 2019?
When is ebay going to take responsibility or honor their own buyer guarantee that if an item is not as described the buyer will receive a full refund? Instead my refund is prlonged month after month after month, with errors performed by multiple various representatives from ebay's general help, escalations and appeals that I am still sitting here typing yet another complaint because ebay will not do their job or acknowledge that they have a platform to follow so these kinds of problems keep occurring?!
I want my refunds on these 7 items 4 months ago. I am not going to start another process with paypal because ebay can't be responsible, ethical or professional.

ebay store fees being used to charge people more
ebay just changed its policy changing all fixed price listings to good till canceled in so doing so, they can charge more to ebay store dealers, and not give sellers the ability to not renew the add when ebay says, giving no choice whether i relist or not and no notice that this was done until it has happened, i want ebay to remove this policy or face a possible class action lawsuit for changing terms of service while in a contract.
I am with you. The 'new' policy of automatically relisting your expired items, and charging you a fee to relist is a total rip-off. Apparently, in a effort to bolster falling revenue from actual sales, eBay has opted to squeeze more fees from increasingly angered sellers. I shared this issue today with a dis-interested eBay customer service representative during an hour long phone call. I just discovered the option to renew on 30 days was changed to GTC. This not only removes choice, but creates an additional burden to sellers with many listings as now we must watch and cancel before GTC kicks in. This coupled with taking a % of postage charged for the "buyers" benefit while keeping said cost is getting ridiculous. I'm actively seeking an alternative to ebay and need advice from other sellers.

As per my order placed on March 6, 2019, via prepaid VISA card transaction, Item number : 202608532750, I have received the below communication notifying me that the seller is not anymore on ebay and the item no longer exists.
Having already tried to contact the not anymore existenting seller (impossible to do via your ebay system)
I am left with no choice but to contact you directly.
Please note that the phone numbers on the ebay section help & contacts are not displayed and that the service is now closed. No email contact details are provided either.
My questions are therefore,
Is the item arriving as scheduled ?
If not, when will I have a refund for the non existing/missing item?
