refunding on fake gold rings
I think there are serious problems at ebay when regular, dispute and appeal representatives cannot follow up or follow through on their own recommendation(s) and promises to get a refund on a fake gold rings sold to me and my son in December and arriving in January 2019.
My son and I purchased at least 60 gold rings from our respective store names at the time, yesteryear09 and earldube_0. When we started receiving them in January they did not look real. So I did an acid assay for 10K and 14K on them as well as soaked them in white vinegar for 24 hours which showed them to be fake gold leaving dark spots, tarnish and loss of gold. I did not know which of the 5 sellers sent which items to us as they all looked similar sent in envelopes with Chinese writing I did not know who sent what. So in order to know who sent which ring, disputes were filed as not received, and these sellers responded that they did send the ring(s) identifying them in their response and I was able to determine who sent what. I noted what I had done to determine which seller sold me what ring and noted all of this new information under each submitted dispute. I also noted that I was not sure now if it mattered that they were filed as not received instead of not as described and got no reply. 30 days go by and I'm told that because I did not ask eBay to step in and help me all of them were closed. Then after eBay read everything in my dispute, they reopened all of the cases and told me I needed to refile all of them as not as described and not to worry because we would get our refunds. So I took pictures and uploaded them to each dispute with an explanation again of what had taken place and why I was resubmitting them not as described. It took me 3 days to get this done. Then 30 days go by and they are all closed because we did not ask eBay to step in and help. I called eBay again and told them what had occurred and we were told not to worry; not that we had to call eBay again and ask them to step in to help. We had already did that and followed eBay's instructions. They were re-opened again and 30 days later we finally started receiving our refunds on items that were paid for and not as described or never received. I asked about the other disputes that were filed and why they were not accepted. I had to talk to disputes and ultimately a person by the name of Ray, a supervisor, who said he would personally re-submit all of the claims that were closed in error and I do not have to worry about anything. I should get the remainder of our refunds within 30 days. Well, wouldn't you know that all but 7 were not reimbursed to us. I explained all of this to an escalations supervisor who said they would help me with all the remaining un-reimbursed claims; those that were not yet refunded back to us were re-opened, and again I was told not to worry Ms. Dube. In 30 days if the seller does not respond you will get your refund. 30 days goes by and I am refunded everything except 4 rings on my son's account that was changed to OUR store in January findingutreasures, and 3 rings on my account yesteryear09 that is in business with my son on findingutreasures now. With Cody's help in Escalations these 4 rings were again resubmitted for a refund this time if the seller did not respond in 5 days to return the items for a refund we would get our money back. He did not respond and Cody called me back as promised with a refund on 3 of the 4 rings. He could not tell me why the fourth ring did not refund and transferred me to Appeals where I spoke with Smairalen who diligently worked on this until she found out the root cause, Case SR1-[protected]. Now I feel like everything is finally over and we received our refunds due. Smairalen will call me to let me know when to expect a refund for this item.
But then I got 3 emails sent to my yesteryear09 account, stating that 3 cases have been closed in March with no explanation, who was awarded what, what the amount is, nothing. I was perplexed as to which 3 cases these could be. So I click on SEE RETURN DETAILS and there is ID information from 1 but none of them at all recorded with any additional information as in all of the other disputes I continually updated and re-submitted the past 4 months. Here are the 3 items:
1) JEWELRY 3.29 CARAT NATURAL GARNET 14KT SOLID WHITE GOLD RINGS SIZE 8.5# has been closed, Seller Gerald Zimmerman.
2) 3.95ct Brilliant Cut Natural Pick Diamond Solid 14 KT Yellow Gold Rings 9# has been closed, Seller Gerald Zimmerman.
3) [protected] Natural Antique 3.23Carat Yellow Sapphire Rings In 14kt Solid Yellow Gold 9# has been closed, Seller cameromaul0.
I called eBay today, April 4th and spoke first to Rhodora in Escalations, who's supervisor Dee, was too busy to speak to me and asked Rhodora to tell me to file for a refund from PayPal. In other words, don't bother me, and have someone else take care of your problem. So I called back and got Ria, asked to speak with her supervisor, Mark who would not even let me speak or explain what happened. He denied everything I was trying to explain to him. I finally had to ask if he was going to let me talk because I'm a customer who is calling to get help. He said he's not going to let me explain and only take what's written on the email as truth. I replied that I would just continue my BBB complaint and include his name and his response to me in the complaint. He said he didn't care what I did. I told Mark to go to hell and hung up. I didn't tell him what I really wanted him to know about his unprofessionalism and rude behavior.
So now I am in April 2019 still trying to get a refund on 3 rings purchased from yesteryear09 account and am no further ahead after calling for 4 months, and am just now finding out that there is a possibility that these 3 items on this account were never followed up by anyone and just left in suspension for 4 months receiving closure in March 2019?
When is ebay going to take responsibility or honor their own buyer guarantee that if an item is not as described the buyer will receive a full refund? Instead my refund is prlonged month after month after month, with errors performed by multiple various representatives from ebay's general help, escalations and appeals that I am still sitting here typing yet another complaint because ebay will not do their job or acknowledge that they have a platform to follow so these kinds of problems keep occurring?!
I want my refunds on these 7 items 4 months ago. I am not going to start another process with paypal because ebay can't be responsible, ethical or professional.

ebay store fees being used to charge people more
ebay just changed its policy changing all fixed price listings to good till canceled in so doing so, they can charge more to ebay store dealers, and not give sellers the ability to not renew the add when ebay says, giving no choice whether i relist or not and no notice that this was done until it has happened, i want ebay to remove this policy or face a possible class action lawsuit for changing terms of service while in a contract.
I am with you. The 'new' policy of automatically relisting your expired items, and charging you a fee to relist is a total rip-off. Apparently, in a effort to bolster falling revenue from actual sales, eBay has opted to squeeze more fees from increasingly angered sellers. I shared this issue today with a dis-interested eBay customer service representative during an hour long phone call. By the way, eBay phone reps have no authority to solve anything, and continually refer to hidden supervisors in the background... you know, kind of lo, e the Wizard of Oz.
I just discovered the option to renew on 30 days was changed to GTC. This not only removes choice, but creates an additional burden to sellers with many listings as now we must watch and cancel before GTC kicks in. This coupled with taking a % of postage charged for the "buyers" benefit while keeping said cost is getting ridiculous. I'm actively seeking an alternative to ebay and need advice from other sellers.

My name is Edgar and I am a veteran who got home 2 years ago after a long tour in Iraq. I was racially profiled on eBay and I was kicked off their platform for doing nothing illegal while i was trying to find a new engine for one of my old cars to buy from a member. eBay would not help me or answer any questions other than telling me i am suspicious. This is not fair and unfair treatment that i cannot use eBay which is monopolized the market on finding used goods for sale at a good price.
Never in my life have i felt so singled out.

I ordered some toothbrushes and did not receive them and my email went unanswered. I tried to contact the seller again and saw that s/he is no longer a registered user. I tried to contact them again but the window pooped up that said there is a problem and go back a page. I realize that there is not a lot of money involved, but if this person is charge 200 + people $3.00 each, then this is fraud.

Ebay linweipqq Chinese Seller Scam Untrustworthy Negative Feedback
This Chinese seller really got some nerves.
To start with, the item wasn't as described and I have requested to send it back.
We have mutually agreed that once they received the item, they will refund the cost of the item including the return postage cost. Things change when the item reach in China.
I ‘ve return the item with Royal Mail track and signed and keep the seller update with tracking number and proof of postage
This seller never bother (Or don't want) to check the item and the post tried to deliver the item for 5 days or more but no answer. (The post leave the card for pick up ofc)
I've contacted the seller for this, and only replied after repeated chasing.
1 minute after replying ‘hi, sorry, we not Have received it, we will go to post Office ask them, many thanks ‘, The seller has opened case and ask Ebay to help in, and 15 min after that the case was CLOSED AND RESOLVED and I will not be refunded!
To my surprise, what's kind of lies the seller telling ebay and what kind of gullible customer service who handled this matter without checking fact and evidence with both seller and buyer. (in this case seller only)
Its been almost 2 months dealing with this, my case was closed in 30 min!
I have go all to way to make this right with a lot and patience and time wasted as they did not reply and need to be chased. I don't even gave them a neutral and negative feedback as I think its only fair for both parties until this is resolved.
It was very frustrating, confusing and disturbing and of course I have appealed for this matter to look at again.
Fortunately, someone is a bit smarter from Ebay customer service look at it, and eventually I was refunded for item and now waiting for Paypal to refund the return postage cost.

Day after making purchase Ebay sent message saying I would not get item and be issued a refund within 48 hours. 10 days later called customer service and told would be refunded in 2 days. Why did Ebay lie to me in their message and only issued refund because I called customer service. Customer service told me Ebay just reached a decision on my purchase but knew day after money was withdrawn from my bank account I would not get item.
They are pathological liars. This is what happens when you farm calls out to third world countries that could care less about customers. overstock selling through ebay; "luxury cotton sateen" sheets
The sheets arer different from what is described. They are thin and will not last long. They are not sateen.
I always wash new fabric items. These came out of the washer looking like they had been in use for years.
To return them, Overstock wants them in new or unuse condition. So much the better to scam another customer!

I purchased an item from ebay thru bidding on 01/11/2019 and later noticed that the item comes from china and it would take 2 months to reach. Before item was shipped I contacted seller and cancelled the order, but instead of refunding full price seller returned only actual cost and not shipping.
For this I contacted ebay on 01/14/2019 and spoke to CSR named "Rena", wherein she promised ebay would return the shipping charge of 2.99$ and that return has been initiated, but since I did not receive any confirmation the next day I contacted customer service center again and spoke to "Sam" who also confirmed that "Rena" has initiated a refund of $2.99 and it would be posted in to my account in 3-4 business days. I waited for more than 10 days and on 01/25/2019 when I reached ebay again wherein the CSR connected to escalation team where in one gentleman by name "Ryan" spoke and made this comment "ebay CSR do not know the process and may have made a false promise which ebay may not be able to keep up. We cannot issue a refund" When I told him it was your team that confirmed/ promised he told again we cannot issue refund for promise given by CSR.
I TOLD HIM to cancel my account and also that I would post about my experience on social networking site for which he responded that's fine and you can do as your wish. That's why I am posting this first on the customer site and I will continue to post the conversation in social platform as well.

I was interested in buying an item, but wanted to find out about shipping prior to placing the order. The screen indicated to proceed to checkout for shipping information. When I did proceed, it tells me that I have purchased the item and cannot cancel the order. I did not purchase the item. They keep sending invoices. I have contacted the seller and ebay but heard nothing. The item is showing up in my shipping cart. I will not be paying and will never purchase or sell anything on ebay again.

This is not the way that this on-line internet auction is supposed to work and yet she claimed nothing could be done. I told her I wanted it resolved by my obtaining this jacket in any way that EBay could arrange it in order to uphold the integrity of the process. This is the fourth vendor from which I have "purchased" the Hoover Carpet Cleaner model #FH50900. I began in October, 2018 and the last order was on Dec. 15th. I am so upset that your vendors advertise the same product over and over again and then, when they don't come, eventually refund my money with no explanation. FOUR VENDORS! The last one was Sean Hamilton, Invoice ID: EBAY35809012731. The one before was from claytonammo_3 - he also refunded my money. Another was from us-plaza who was polite but couldn't fill my request and refunded my money. The first (I believe) was from elite_warehouses who stated that when they checked the product it wasn't in good condition.
That's FOUR DIFFERENT VENDORS WHO FRAUDULENTLY ADVERTISED THIS SAME PRODUCT!
And I STILL do not have a carpet cleaner! I must state here that I am not out any money, but I definitely feel that I have been scammed out of a lot of time and futile worrying!

I purchased (3) iphone 6 plus leather case cover from ec-case on ebay. I paid on the Oct 26, 2018 and they mailed out to me on the Oct 27, 2018. AND THAT IS FINAL. I CONTACT EBAY CUSTOMER AND THE SIDE OF THE SELLER. THE SELLER AGREED AND SENT ME COPY OF MY PAYMENT. BUT THE EBAY IS KEEP ON saying something to explain to not stop creating false comment on my account.
REMARKS: this is strongly not recommended. I as a customer felt humiliated and assaulted because this act is to put customer as a thief which is not correct. I felt like Ebay is putting customer in a political situation or oppressing customer when thing doesn't went smooth on their side. I sincerely hope they will change it, otherwise, EBAY is going to turn out into a SCAM site in the next couple of years. Bad comment keep on coming.
Please delete the wrong information in customer account which they felt embarrass and neglected if they have called for assistance. They are really slow on this. Perhaps they have to re-organize and have a meeting regarding customer care and or the normal good standard of a online company.
