suspending my account
I am contacting you because I think I have not been treated fairly.
On Oct 26th, my friend's account on Ebay was suspended. I was worried because he always used my laptop for checking his account.
We contacted Ebay and asked about it and if his suspending account will affect my account as well. the agent reassures us that my account is in good standing.
Yesterday I received an email from Ebay that mentioned my account has been suspended because it is related to another account that is suspended!
I am requesting your help for this matter. I have been honest with you,and I do not understand why I should be punished for another person's fault.
Legally wise,we are 2 different people and I am not responsible for his actions.

I bought a product from a seller Order Number [protected]
I bought Stella & Chewey dried cat food from a seller on ebay and I never received the packages totaling $93.60. I called UPS to confirm what happened to my package. UPS asked for the my tracking number, name and address and confirmed that these packages went to somebody else.. So the seller did not use my address in the order details of my purchase. He sent both packages to wrong names and addresses. UPS sent me emails showing the tracking number the seller gave me and the addresses they went to so I could prove to ebay that these packages did not go to me. I uploaded these emails for ebay. Ebay still agreed to let the seller keep my full purchase of $93.60. I got NOTHING BACK. This seller had negative feedback and had done the same to other buyers. I don't trust ebay anymore... I am a long time seller and buyer since 2004 with thousands of 100% ONLY feedback. It is shocking how unfair ebay has become. This is not the ebay I once knew...

Items bought online. Paid for in full. Never received either the items. I appealed, but still refusing refund.
I bought two Items on the same morning of the 6th September 2022. The Items purchased were similar parts, but from two different sellers. I paid in full plus import taxes and shipping which totalled to GBP142.24/ item. I received a tracking number. Started tracking the items, and on the tracking info it stated the items would be delivered between the 23rd - 27th September. To this date 26th October 2022 I have not received any of the two Items. I have written to eBay in 4 letters regarding not receiving the Items. The one Item they said they would refund me on, of which they have, but the other item they are stating it has been delivered. I have appealed the case stating they are not refunding me the GBP142.24 pounds. The 9th October 2022 I wrote to the eBay Legal Department, stating that I have not received my Item which is a Nissan Micra 1,2 Petrol Electronic Power Steering Column with OEM Part # JJ001-000505A. My Order # [protected]. Case # [protected]. Amount Paid GBP142,24 pounds. I have asked them to furnish me with the Shipping Companies, The Physical Address the Item was delivered, and for the copy of the receiving documentation with the recipients signature. The eBay Legal Department Have still not replied to me. Today 26th October 2022 I wrote to the eBay customer care and the agent replied to me stating I am not going to be refunded my monies. Please I would like any type of assistance regarding who to take my situation to so that I can be refunded my monies or receive my Item I purchased but have not received. Selling and customer service.
I ordered and paid on June 12, 2022 on eBay for a package (order n° [protected]) that I still have not received on October 21, 2022, more than four months later.
The seller never gave me explanations nor replied to my four messages concerning this matter. The seller did not refund my purchase either.
I contacted many times eBay customer service, but so far with no results at all.
I have underlined below several problems concerning my order that should be corrected by eBay as they may be repeated with other customers :
• Problem # 1, tracking information : According to the “tracking details” provided on eBay, my parcel was paid for on June 12, 2022, then shipped on June 17, 2022. No other information is listed after that date such as : posting/collection in China, arrival at outward office of exchange in China, dispatch from outward office of exchange in China, item presented to import Customs in New Caledonia, item returned from import Customs in New Caledonia, processing at delivery Post Office in New Caledonia, final delivery to me.
According to eBay’s "selling practice policies” :
“Providing tracking details for items you've sold is an industry standard and something that your buyers expect. Tracking data lets buyers know where their item is throughout the shipping process, and can be critical in cases where the buyer claims they didn't receive an item. Learn more about uploading tracking information.
What to do :
Upload accurate tracking details
Upload tracking details within your specified handling time
Mark the item as 'Shipped' in My eBay or Seller Hub once it has been sent
What not to do :
Upload information other than valid tracking in the tracking field, including tracking not associated with the transaction
Upload tracking information later than the handling time window promised in your listing”.
So, it is obvious that these policies were not followed by the seller, who did not provide any accurate and updated details of the tracking. Nobody knows where is the item now.
• Problem # 2, communication : According to eBay practices, the seller must :
“Respond promptly to any questions during the bidding or buying process, as well as after the item has been purchased
Communicate professionally, including emails
Be responsive to any buyer concerns or problems”.
In this case, the seller never responded to my four messages of October 10, October 13, October 14 and October 20.
• Problem #3, seller rating : Seller claims to be a “Top Rated Seller, Crazy Fashion Shop is one of eBay's most reputable sellers. Consistently delivers outstanding customer service”.
According to Ebay, top rated seller is “providing an exceptional quality of customer service”.
In reality, the seller is not providing an exceptional quality of customer service, as evidenced by all his negative feedbacks attached, which note in particular his failure to respond to messages from the buyers, or, on several occasions, the non-receipt of his packages.
• Problem #4 : money back guarantee : According to eBay, I cannot ask a refund as the 30 days delay after the estimated delivery of the item, on August 24, 2022, is passed.
This answer is neither accurate nor satisfactory because eBay asked me to allow to the seller additional time for the delivery of the package, due to the congestion of shipments by post office.
EBay are therefore responsible if I have not requested the refund within 30 days after August 24, 2022.
• Problem #5 : eBay “customer service”: I sent several messages to eBay "customer service", each time, a different person answered me, even during the same day.
This is too many people at different times to solve efficiently the same issue. Each person has not enough commitment to study the file sufficiently.
The fact is that all these persons did not solve my issue at all. Worse, they gave me contradictory answers.
Thus, Gaichuingam, from eBay “customer service”, said to me :
“to resolve this issue, I would recommend you to contact the seller via registered email address (not from eBay messages). A copy of conversation is always sent to user's registered email address. You can reply to that conversation (seller) if you had earlier with seller via registered email address with eBay”.
As this registered email address is not available on eBay, nor on internet, I asked eBay “customer service” to give it to me.
Parnoy from eBay “customer service” then answered to me :
“I would also like to share that we are not authorized to share the personal information of our customers to any other customer due the GDPR policy. However if the seller wish to refund and they are facing issue in the process, then you can ask them to contact us, we will guide them accordingly”.
It therefore turns out that the instructions given by eBay "customer service" are disavowed by the service itself, these instructions are obviously not appropriate.
It is also obvious that this seller can do whatever he wants on eBay : he would refund me if he “wishes” to. He should actually be required to do so by eBay.
Your “customer service” is therefore more of a “seller service”.
• Conclusions :
1) I ordered and paid on June 12, 2022 on eBay for a package that I still have not received on October 21, 2022, more than four months later, I was supposed to receive this package by the end of August 2022 ;
2) There is no tracking information at all concerning my order since June 17, 2022 ;
3) The seller never gave me explanations nor replied to my four messages concerning this matter ;
4) The seller did not refund my purchase either. Order paid on internet, but never received and never refunded is called in law “internet scam” ;
5) The seller has dishonest and impolite practices because eBay policies are not strictly followed by eBay.
Please note I will continue to send messages to the seller and to eBay until I get my refund.

Customer service
Bought a ring from a seller and it is too big to enjoy or wear. The ring cost me $460.00 and the seller refuses to refund. Ebay sides with the seller and hides my right to leave feedback. Ebay chooses to HIDE the dissatisfied feedback so seller can continue selling under the pretense that all his customers are satisfied which is a big LIE. Ebay is acting biased and showing difference while discriminating as to who can leave feedback and who can't. Ebay customer service told me my feedback was hidden by Ebay. Ebay needs to delete the feedback option if it is only for specific people and not all.
Desired outcome: Refund or be able to leave feedback to warn potential customers.
My Ebay account was cancelled by Ebay
Ebay talks about the online bidder was not paid so I am a risk to their online community so they permanently closed my account. The item I purchased was for a by now price, not an online bidding price. I included pictures that show this item was paid upfront. Are you able to tell me how you can justify permanently closing my account for making a purchase? I did receive the item I purchased and I am happy with the product.

Listing tool
The listing tool that we are now forced to use as sellers DOES NOT WORK. I change the shipping cost for every item, as they are all different, and the pulldown that is supposed to give me that option DOES NOT WORK. I have called eBay for 4 days since I was forced to start the new listing tool, and nothing has changed. The IT department is untouchable, and unresponsive, and extremely frustrating. Sellers are the ones earning their pay. They owe me an explanation, and need to take time to FIX THE PROBLEM THEY CREATED.

I made a recent purchase on eBay of Solution Finish Black Plastic Vinyl Trim Restorer. The product came to me in a bottle with a broken cap so the liquid was all over the inside of the box.
In trying to complete my claim with the customer service people via chat (there is no phone number, and they don't do email... Talk about insulating yourself from your customer base...) I was instructed to put my address in so I could go further in the process... The system would not take my address... The same address that was used to ship the goods to me... So I was roadblocked and could get no further. The customer service staff on chat was virtually useless.
I have never had such an unpleasant experience. I will never buy anything on eBay ever again!

Om the 17th of sept. 2022 I won a bid on ebay I use gift cards that I have purchased along with my debeit card to pay for my purchase. My money was taken off the gift cards but not my debit card so I had ebay call me because you can not call them. When the got in touch with me I was told that my gift cards were under investigation and I needed to show proof of ownership of the cards. So I went back to the stores where I purchased the gift cards from. There was a total of 5 gift cards. Two for $20, one for $100 one for $50 and one for $134. I could only get the booking managers to give me a riceipt for 3 of the cards because I could not remeber the correct date and time of two of the cards which the stores need in order to pull up the transaction. So I sent ebay the three receipts that I got from the store. Two receipts were fo $200 and one was for $134. Ebay emailed me and say that they cant determine my onwership of the cards so they are keeping the my money. I cant afford to just brush off $684 dollars like its nothing I need some help..
Desired outcome: i would like all my money back or at the least my money for the three receits that i provided. they could be return back on my gift cards or however they can get it back to me

eBay lcoking my account for no reason, then making themselves uncontactable, then refusing to resolve my issue.
eBay decided, without contacting me to confirm, that my account "may have been accessed by a third party" and put a "temporary" restriction on my account. There is no message in my eBay messages other than those telling me that I don't need to do anything if the person who accessed from another device is me. As it was I did not. But my account remains locked for weeks. The e-mail contact options on the site are all non-functional and so are the telephonic contact options. The only way to contact customer service was to post on Facebook, but all they did was (a) give me numbers to phone the northern hemisphere (and yes I am using eBay.com deliberately because their is nothing of interest to me locally), which do not work (b) refer me to the site to leave my e-mail address which simply does not get responded to no matter how many times I leave my e-mail address. When I asked them why they cant simply pick up the phone and get their "security specialists" to contact me (to fix the fake problem that eBay created for no known reason) they were unable to do even that. This has to be the worse customer service ever known in the history of mankind!
Desired outcome: Unlock my account and eBay to fix their contact options. If I had a real problem how would I contact eBay???
Being paid for selling an item
eBay is trying to force me to give them my checking account information to be able to be paid for an item I sold on eBay. My complaint is simple. If it is the case that I must give eBay my checking account/Bank information befor I can get paid, then I should not have been allowed to list/sell an item until I had done so. eBay allowed me to list and sell an item without forcing me to fill out my banking information and when I went to get paid, that's when I was told/forced into filling out my banking information if I wanted to get paid.
I asked for an alternative way to get paid because I was and am unwilling to trust eBay with my banking information and I was told that I had to go through my state to get paid. I asked just what and whom do I cantact for that to happen and was told it would happen automatically in two or three years. I said to close my account and the reply was you can't close your account with money on the books. I said then cut me a check and close my account.
Well, there it is! Now, my money is stuck in eBay for two or three years with no other way to retrieve it unless I give all my banking information allowing eBay to put and take from my personal account.
I gave them my PayPal card information and my debit card information linked to my checking account but that wasn't enough, they demand all my bank information. No way will I do that, there is no reason they cannot give me my money through the PayPal or my bank card.

I am a seller of over 20 years, with a stealer record. I’ve asked for this disingenuous *Neutral* feedback to be removed from my profile, I was told its was against your policy to do so, this is completely ridiculous. I’m not asking for anything outrageous or unheard of, so please remove this at once. The buyer has been disingenuous and dishonest (and kept the item at the same time) Over the last 20 years I’ve seen sellers’ rights stripped away on eBay, with things like eBay forced retunes, sellers no longer having the ability to leave feedback on buyers, not to mention your various funding procedures. I don’t think asking to remove some unjust feedback is ridiculous. I am seriously thinking of taking both of my eBay stores offline.

I ordered 6 shirt that were supposed to be 5X. When I recieved the order the shirt are labeled as 5X but are really small maybe 2X. I setup a return and it said I am responsible for the shipment cost to return. I called customer service and was told I have to pay this. This wrong that the seller can sell items which are NOT the size it claims to be. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTIZING !
After talking to a supervisor who told me I had to pay but offered me a $5 coupon for future purchase. I now can no longer contact anyone at this number [protected] as it cuts me off. E-Bay is allowing sellers to sell items that do not meet what they advertize, so youy are allowing FALSE ADVERTIZEMENT.

I bought a Chrome motorcycle battery on Ebay August 2021, the main reason I purchased their battery was because it came witha 2 year warranty, at least according to their ad? The battery dies completely about 6 months later, I then contacted Chrome battery, and pai $ 6.95 for shipping for a replacement battery.
After taking over an hour replacing the second battery, it too lasted about 6 months . I contacted Chrome once again, they stated they do not have a warranty on their replacement battery? Which made no sense at all, nor was this policy posted on the Ebay purchasing website. The only thing posted was the 2 year warranty? When I brought this up to them, they tried stating there must be something wrong with my bike? But I bought another motorcycle battery and it is charging and working fine. This is misleading, fraudulent, and unethical. They then stated there battery policies are on the phamlet you get after you buy the battery?

I ordered the Magic Magnetic Curtain Door Net Screen which was delivered by Evri on Thursday, 18 August at 11.01. I was out, the delivery person took a picture and told me that the parcel was left at my front door. When I was home, the parcel was missing. There was a note left claiming that the parcel was left at the side gate. I checked the side gate. There was also no parcel. In the note, it precisely states that 3 attempts for delivery are available. I am very disappointed not only for the money that I lost, also (1) I don't have the item to use when I need it most; (2) the courier did not try to reach me on my mobile to ensure the item is left in a safe place; and (3) the courier fails to make 2 other attempts to redeliver as it states in their notes. Even Royal Mail will leave a note for me to make arrangements to redeliver. Apparently, Evri fails to complete its mission. Adding to that, I dont have an explanation why the parcel had gone missing nor any suggestions for improvement except apologies which is not helpful. Evri needs to improve the quality of the delivery personnel and ensure its protocol is closely followed. The purpose of having courier is to ensure the parcel reaches the recipient safely - more reliable than ordinary mail. Apparently, this does not apply to my case. This really reduce my confidence and interest in further purchasing from eBay as there is no way that one can ensure the safe arrival of the merchandise. Where is the point and the fun of purchasing online whilst the arrival of the merchandise cannot be guaranteed. Thank you.
