Somebody else's bank account associated with my etsy store
I opened a Sellers store on Etsy on Wednesday, 7/27/22. It was a day after that I noticed that a strangers bank account was listed under account information. In order to update deposit bank account information I need to be able to enter the entire bank account number. I obviously can not provide Etsy with this information bc it is not my account. I have made $540 in sales and I believe this has all been deposited in this other persons account. I have scoured the internet for a phone number to contact Etsy and I have not been able to find one. I have left an email on their support services page every other day since I realized this problem. Their site states that someone will get back to you within 1-2 days to answer your inquiry. To date I have not heard back from an Etsy representative. I have invested a lot of my time preparing to open this Etsy store as well as financial resources; buying shipping materials as well as the print costs associated with filling the orders I have already had come in. I have not seen any of my money profited. I am at a loss for how to proceed as they are not getting back to me to resolve this issue. I am deeply frustrated at this point and do not know if I need to contact an attorney. I obviously would like to avoid this as that will accrue added expenses. Desired outcome: to have an Etsy representative get back in touch with me, preferably by phone and help me change the bank account information to reflect my bank account number and then see the money from my sales deposited into my account.

The company through Etsy, we ordered from is Henry and Hannah. They finally told us to file a case, however, not knowing much about electronics, and being in our mid 70's, we cannot still figure out how to do just that. We have no cell phone anyway. I pray no one else out there has the problems we have had trying to clear this matter up. $29.21 may sound like a little to some, but it's alot of money to us. Please consider returning that refund to us.

After several direct attempts, CraftboxByFarrukh appears to have been one of those worst-case examples of what buyers complain about on Etsy. A seller with no intent of delivering a product. Judging by the seller rating, it appears that some transactions were honored, but just as many were not. I must have been one of those that fell in just as things were going bad. It is a shame that buyers as well as Etsy are taken advantage of when it comes to physical products by what amounts to theft.
Hopefully Etsy has some kind of means keep a seller from setting up shops under another name or reporting them to the authorities should they attempt to, but I know the reality of that is not likely.
Oh well, chalk it up to one of life's lessons. Buyer beware.

Hi, I ordered a tea cup from Oriarm. Transaction ID [protected] (photos of the dispatch notice attached). Today I received a package from Oriarm in the mail. I have received two packets of tea leaves from Oriarm instead of the item I ordered (photo of the tea I received attached). If I am unable to have the item I ordered could I have a refund please? I don’t want the tea. It’s not an acceptable substitute. The item I ordered was supposed to be a gift.

A dress I ordered
I bought a dress that I need for a wedding and it is too long based off the measurements. I contacted the seller and let them know and I sent them images too of the dress how long it is on. I asked them to please reach out to me several times so I can send back and exchange. I have a wedding September 2nd 2022 and I need this issue to be resolved. I paid so much money for this dress that I need.

Permanent Suspension over an Etsy error
08/11/2022.
I follow all policies at Etsy. Even so, my organic mattress pad was flagged as being disallowed. It was an error, as I see that mattress pads are regularly sold on Etsy and their representative told me mattress pads were allowed. It happened a few times and I had tried to reach Etsy to clarify that a mattress pad is not a mattress. Finding a contact at Etsy is very hard, and I was never told in what way any item was in violation. I eventually was told that the mattress pads are allowed and mattresses are not. So I had no mattresses. This is an Etsy error, as they seem to have mistook a mattress pad for a mattress. Notice pic, this is a thin pad to put on a mattress when it is not over 3".
I have been permanently suspended so my only source of income is gone and I am stuck with a bunch of raw materials I cannot sell. Additionally I had just begun a campaign, which cost my over $800 to advertise my Etsy shop to the 30,000 previous customers I had from my organic business, prior to joining Etsy. Is this how Etsy treats its legitimate US sellers? Forcing me to bankruptcy?
I am a 5 star seller with a large customer base on Etsy.
Desired outcome: I simply want the ability to sell on Etsy and a clear defining of what is allowed and what is not so I can abide by the rules. If something is not allowed, I need an email telling me why so that changes can be made.

Etsy deactivated all my hand made led listing but allowing other sellers to remain untouched and continue to sell their led battery operated product.
I'm a seller on Etsy, and they removed all my handmade led products because they use batteries, but they did not remove the other seller's led products that used the same batteries as mine. I just woke up one morning, and they said I violated Etsy policy, and it took them months to tell me it was because my product used batteries. I was heated. I asked why the other sellers are selling their led battery-operated product, and they claim they don't target sellers, and their system will say who to remove. Now I'm stuck with all these parts, tools, and products and lost a lot of income. Etsy is biased from small sellers to the larger sellers and will not punish any of the larger sellers for violating their new June 5, 2022 rules. I don't even sell or include the batteries with my product. I even received an email from Etsy reinstating my listing, then they removed them all a month later, which was very frustrating and confusing. What am I supposed to do with all these parts and supplies now? All the shipping material I had stored up?- I have submitted all documents that I had to make for all my product.
Desired outcome: Removed all the other seller-led battery-operated products and or reinstated hand-made led products. larger sellers that bring Etsy 1000s of money daily are able to remain untouched while the little seller like me are targeted and removed
Removal of items in my store
Etsy have removed 4 of my best selling organic shampoos and conditioners for the following reason - not once TWICE this week.
"Etsy prohibits the sale of hazardous substances, including (but not limited to) lip and eye cosmetic products containing Henna and/or Mehndi, and all products containing Kohl. "
I do not sell cosmetics, nether lip or eye products either. If a human being actulally LOOKED at the items, they would see I sell hair care only.
Also they were quick to shut down my biggest selling items. however other sellers who moving ober 10k units of the SAME item are still selling. Also there are vendors selling GALLON buckets of carcinogenic skin bleach and they have not removed them either. And theyve been selling for YEARS. Etsy has not removed them, nor the mass produced made in China "Handmade" items that sell 100,000 units plus through Etsy. Can you please reinstate my items, this is my only source of income. By the time Etsy take their cut of the profits I am left with less that 200 USD per month, So please live up to the ethos of the platform. Handmade in small batches by small sellers, like me.

My account getting wrongfully suspended
I have been wrongfully accused of selling items not handmade by me. Which is not true. All the items I've sold were all handmade by me. I don't know who keeps banning my accounts, especially if it is a bot or a machine doing the banning for Etsy you need to fix them. Etsy is my way to make passive income to make money to help pay my rent, and you guys are taking that away from me. I should sue you people for doing this to me. Please reinstate my account, and I get banned right after I got 4 sales in the same month. And there is no way to contact a real Etsy representative for a solution. You abandoned customer support. Esty is profiting from people selling used underwear to used sexual toys. These items are used and it's against their policy. There's thousands upon thousands. Some girls are selling underwear from having been worn a week to having there periods. This is absolutely disgusting. I reported many and they are still up.

Etsy terminated my account alleging a violation of a policy that allows other sellers.
Etsy permanently canceled my shop, but I just did what others sellers do without a problem on Etsy. Please see the attached images. They shows other sellers offers on Etsy.
I was already making sales and fast delivery and I was very happy when they cancel me, however, look at the attached photos. Why am I cancelled? Etsy must explain the difference with the other vendors I attached.
They ask me that they are not going to answer anymore. It is that I did not commit any violation because my products are not included in the prohibited list, as evidenced by these two images of other sellers who do offer similar products and Etsy allows them.
I have argued with them and they claim that they have told me three times about the violation. But the point is that it is not a violation of their prohibited products, so all three times it has been unfair. The proof is that they allow the sale of these images to other sellers but they cancel my account for offering even less explicit photos than those offered there.
Obviously, the only explanation for Etsy's actions on me is that Etsy is not interested in sellers of Hispanic origin in their store, so it could be a problem of racial discrimination by Etsy.

This has happened to me too. It is confusing. My items are not listed on policies as not being allowed. Etsy thinks my mattress pads are mattresses and other sellers sell similar items without issue. They don't tell you what you are in violation of when they remove an item. So all you can do is guess.
Why would you throw the race card in, I have a multi cultural family so I do know about racism but what does that have to do with inappropriate pictures for sale... trust me I'm no prude but they are allowed to decide what is and what isn't appropriate for THEIR site..because others have it just means they weren't caught yet..

what i think is the reason is that someone who doesn't like your work for some reason decided to report you for it. based off their own rules they couldn't just ignore the reports for some reason and acted upon it [maybe just to stop them from getting reports against you]. i do hope you get this resolved.

Appears suspending accounts is a common thing with Etsy, yet people that sale adult sex toys seem to stay on forever! It seem’s they wait until they see your items are in transit, then closed your account and keep your earning’s for months! You would think since being a member since 2012 that if their is a violation, etsy would just remove that violation snd not the entire account. I've stuck by etsy through good and bad of increasing everything from fees to shipping. And now my account with 4.83 stars is gone. It's so super sad because when you talk to customer service about items listed they claim no violation. However Etsy and customer service are not on the same page. Then to put matters worst now that my account is inactive I have to wait 6 months to get the rest of my money. Their are people on here that has designer faux leather and still up. I recreated pouches( this was the last item I put up) with making my own items to sell and now I'm permanently done. Etsy picks on small businesses and pick and choose who can sell what. It's designer items all over this site and these people still sell.
