Family Dollar electronics

I bought a $5 power bank from the family Dollar in Marion, Ohio yesterday June 13th, 2019. I had to go to a funeral and forgot my charger at home 2 hours away. I used the cord for my car charger and it worked. Got home after a long hard day and tried to use the power bank and it didn't work. Thought maybe it just needed to charge but when I plugged it into my charger I realized it had a spot that's supposed to light up when it's in use but the light wasn't turning on. Needless to say it never worked so I tried to return it today in my hometown and they don't sell them so they wouldn't return it cus there is a no return policy on electronics. Since when can I not get my money back or a different item even, if my merchandise never worked? How am I supposed to test a product before buying it? What if it was a sound bar or any other more expensive electronic item that can't be tested before it's bought? I will never buy electronics at family Dollar again cus they pretty much just screwed me out of 5 dollars. All I wanted was a replacement and all the stores anywhere near me are so understaffed that they have numerous empty shelves and multiple carts filled with boxes of merchandise that will sit in the aisles for days before being put away. Something needs to change cus this is not customer service that's for sure.

For your information the store has been understaffed for months and I will never buy electronics or anything else from there from now on... Thanks for the comment and thanks for making it that much easier to not shop there ever again. Just lost business and the thousands of dollars a year I spend there.

TO WHO IT MAY CONCERN:

I am very unhappy by the way I and others were treat at Family Dollar, my family and I have been shopping at Family Dollar Stores for a number of years, I'm not sure if the associate (Pam) was having a bad day or what but I do know that yesterday she was VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL to customers at the store, I witnessed 5 individuals walking out without buying items, some left the items on the counter and some had items in their cart and just left them there and walked out! Ms pam was at the register and walked away to the back of the store chatting with another associate, we stood in line for more than 10 minutes while she remained in the back socializing, I spoke up and said, Hello can we get some service and she just started going off the deep in! In short, not sure what her issues are but if she's not disciplined, I WILL BE sharing my horrible experience with others on SOCIAL MEDIA!
From a business perspective, I don't think you all want that coverage, For the record,
I am a Highly Decorated Veteran and Fayetteville NC is a Strong Military Community,

Family Dollar the manual labor that's going on in store 5633

I recently visit the store 5633, and I over heard the associates talking about how they don't have enough employee working here, because the District Manager refuse to hire more people. I also over heard that his name is Zafar, and that he's don't allow the associates to have any time off, anytime they request any time off it gets denied because they don't have no other workers, they're working with only 4 associates and you have managers that's working doubles on an everyday base, and they get no lunch breaks not even a 15 minute break. They working over 6 hours and can't have no breaks. That is illegal to have any associate working without having a days off or taking any breaks. This is very wrong on so many levels. Something needs to be done ASAP. Manual labor is illegal in any state.

Family Dollar service

I was at the store on Utica and main in Buffalo, Ny at 830pm. The staff member from family dollar Ezelsqo Was very Rude and nasty to my son and forced him to take all of his money out of his pockets. My son was harassed an he goes there all the time earlier in the day time with me. I decide not to go in the store today because i was not feeling well but I handed my child some money to get snacks for school. An my poor child was racially profiled. I hope he does not need counseling for this. I came in the store to find out what the problem was because my child came to my car frantic. The store associate would not tell me what was going and what was the reason for his actions. My child is only 12 years old he does not deserve to be treated this way I want him fired. An also he was walking up to me as if he was going to attack me.

Themre999 Your acting as if racism isn’t a thing and that you were at the store when this happened . If you make my child take all his money out his pockets and scare him then yes I am going to say something and ask why that happened. You shouldn’t have to go through that when your go to your local store that your a regular at.

I purchased a 18in grill on 06/07/19. The grill was defective and missing some parts. I went into the store on 06/10/19 to return and the employee named sharice was there when I purchased the grills. She then stated I couldn't return it. She said that I had to wait for the store manager. I have my receipt. She was nasty and said well come back at 1.

Family Dollar I left a backpack at the front counter as instructed by the employee

I am very upset I had 30.00. Cash a phone and a record from 1972. Still in the plastic. I would demand that I am compensated for my loss. At least the money and the phone. My # is [protected] my name is Joshua. I have a recorded phone call of the employee admitting that the bag was in the store office. It now is gone. Family Dollar employment

To all you managers at a Family Dollar I have a question for you is it proper for a store manager at Family Dollar to fill out all your employment forms without you being present or knowing they're filling them out ? and is it proper for them to ask you a picture for a picture of your Social Security card to their personal cell phone? is it proper to have an employee do the training almost two weeks after hire and not want to pay them to do the computer training you expect them to go in on their day off and just do it spend an hour or two hours whatever it takes to do the whole computer training process when you first supposed to be getting a job? I also would like to know if employees are able to work at a store and then have their paperwork done a couple of days later? I would like to also know how many of you managers walk around your stores in socks putting away stock?

Family Dollar messy store

hi yes i was at your store in Hammond Indiana this morning the address is 147 sibley st the store was a mess they had junk every where all the shelf's were unorganized they were pile of boxes in front of the toilet paper section there were u boats in certain isles and u couldn't walk through just a big mess that does not look good for business i will hire some better people to run that store so u can have better control and make the store look neater

Family Dollar a assistant manager

I walked into the new family dollar in derby ct. And I over heard the assistant manager and cashier talking about me saying she has alot of balls coming In here after she was fired. First off I was let go because I it was a temporary job and I am free to shop at any store I want to. I shouldn't be treated this way as a customer. Family Dollar employee and overall store complaint

I visited the Family Dollar store on Ralph David Abernathy in Atlanta on 6/1/2019 between the time of 8:45pm and 9:00pm. The first thing is there were people right in front of the door with things they were trying to sell me before I could even go inside. Someone selling cakes and pies out fo their car trunk. Also someone else selling music cd's and dvd movies. Once I was inside Im looking for a shopping cart and there was only one. Some guy who was there doing some cleaning had just got that cart andwas putting his cleaning supplies in it so I asked him if I could use the cart and he told me he needed it so he could clean up and I said to him I am a customer and I need the cart to shop and he says yeah but I have to clean up and I state again I am a customer. Reluctantly he game me the cart. As I am shopping a female employee comes from the back and ask the cashier for a cart and she says we only have 2 and as Im shopping Im leaning on the cart and the female employee say "oh I see one but she is leaning on it" and I say to her I am leaning on because Im using it. As Im shopping there are 2 to 3 carts around the store filled with merchandise. This was a very aweful place to visit form the very beginning that I got out of my car. The staff was rude and they were allowing customers to be approached by people outside of the store. There was a lot of activity outside the front door that would make someone feel unsafe. I feel I picked the wrong Family Dollar that night. I shop at this chain on a regular basis and have never had to do a complaint but this store needs some attention from someone upwards of store management.

Family Dollar management, customer service, prices, store appearance, and lack of shopping carts.

I go to the Family Dollar store at 2410 Hickman road, Des Moines, Iowa 50310. I shop there for the convenience and low prices. The past several times that I have shopped there have been very discerning. The appearance of the store has been in disarray with unpacked boxes throughout the store with bare shelves. There has no carts available for use and when I have asked for one I was told maybe I could find one outside or there isn't one of the 3 they have free for use. I am disabled and this is a huge problem for me to where I have to shop elsewhere. The appearance of some employees is unprofessional and lacking in customer service skills. An example is when I bought a gallon of milk, was refused a bag and told by the associate that I didn't need one and they were short on bags. Lastly, some of the items are advertised one price and ring up a different price. When asked why I was charged a different price I was told that they are working on getting the correct price on the shelf.

Family Dollar manager

The manager Melody is in something, she's rude n the customer service she provided is nothing. This Dollar Store is I close proximity to Kroger's And Other Shops, for OlderPatrons as well.
