Family Dollar management treatment.

Hi, I'm an assistant manager from store #8019 and I wanted to file a report against another assistant manager I work with. Her name is Angelica. I've included two pictures, one detailing the incident via text as well as a formal picture of the schedule we were both supposed to be rigorously following. As for the incident itself, this took place approximately 2:00 PM on 7/72019. I was doing my shift from 6:30AM to 3PM when an hour before I was supposed to turn the shift over, my manager texted me telling me she would be late by an hour because she scheduled a hair appointment and the stylist was only half-way done. I told her I wasn't able to stay that long as I had other plans and when I explained to her that I never come late on her shifts (which by the way, has been a repeated offense almost EVERY time she's my relief), she responded in a completely unprofessional way as you can see in the messages. I've stayed despite reluctance, filed a complaint to my store manager, I've even went as far as talking to my district manager, even though I know (from past experience) they hardly lift a finger towards the issue which explains my coming here to resolve this. I want to additionally add onto the fact that while my Store Manager instructed me to keep it cordial once she arrived to finally relieve me, which I obliged, Angelica continuously made the work environment toxic by throwing sly, demeaning remarks on my way out as I handed her over the shift. I would truly appreciate it if something was done about this, as I don't think the way things are operating are either professional or okay to do at any workplace whatsoever. I understand I won't be able to leave early every time due to manager duties needing to be completed prior to leaving, but there's no reason for her to continuously arrive late for her shift while I always give her the decency of arriving on time to relieve her.

Family Dollar store manager need a serious adjustment

My complaint is I can't understand how can one human be so dam RUDE, The store Manager whom think in his head, that he owns the store at( #6458) 680 W Hallandale Beach, Fl 33009, because that what he also say. I this his name Antoine with Dreads. every time i goes in this store and he working is a nightmare for me my whole body cruls up, because of this dam uneducation person he is so unprofessional he yells at customers and his poor staff memeber I feel so sorry for them. he always smell like weed look high all the dam time I no because of my Medical professinal back ground to be honest he needs to be drug tested. because it no way for this man to be running anyone store as a manager. as long as that man is working in that store i will never shop at Family Dollar anymore because it is not fair for me to be a customer to drive across town to another Family Dollar to shop. No way I rather shop at Dollar General and my family member will not be spending my money nor there own money within Family Dollar as long as I live in the city of Hallandale Beach this store is Band from my site... We need respectful human being in our Community when we as hard working people spend our dam money that man needs to go too much complaint and no action is being done, sorry for any abusive words if that what you feel I'm just so fed up with the store manager attiude...

Family Dollar I am complaining about my boss

hi my name is ashley arias i am an employee(6483483#) at the family dollar located on fm 969, i have several complaints about my boss desire bleu. Friday 7/5/2019 i was scheduled to work i told her i couldnt come in, bu tprior to that i had asked her question about the pay period, we discussed it then she told me to come in and talk to her, i said ok but it wont be today which was friday 7/5/2019. As i walkin today 7/7/2019 my asm told me that desire had told her to tell me that once i came in send me because i never came in to talk to her, but not once did she(desire) tell me that i can not come in on my schedule day to work which is today. I find it funny and unprofessional for her to not tell me herself with her being the boss and all. My other complaint about is i had vacation time from June13-25, when i had asked my co worker via text to send me the schedule she(desire) had not put me on the schedule, when i saw desire on 6/25/2-19 she told me she had recieved complaints about my customer service, now her being the boss and all i expected her to tell me this before i went for vacation due to the fact that she told all my co workers about me not coming back without my knowledge. Now there is no reason nor does she have a right to speak about me amongst my co workers and tell themabout me not being an employee or not. She expects others to jump at her every beckon call when she steps out of the store to smoke her cigarettes multiple times, now to my knowledge what one of my co workers told me she knew about these customer complaints prior to me leaving for my vacation not only that every encounter i would have with a customer i would leave a note so that way she can know. I know for a fact that is not proper protocol i have been working for 15 years and not once have i ever had to deal with a boss who gossips about others employments without the actual employer being present, she is very unprofessional in many ways. I have gotten a second job and because of that she has only put me on for two days as if she wants to willingly quit, which im not going to do, if she wants to take the necessary steps as to do she she has to learn how to be a boss. I started there 4/24/2019 and I have proof of our messages if need be. Thank you for your time

Family Dollar customer service

I live in the Mishawaka, IN area, the store you have on 4th street is getting out of control . The manager is not costomer concious. Always have to ring a bell for service, smoking next to the door and the inability to shut up and take care of the growing line of customers. Shelves under stocked or lack thereof. The store is dirty and very cluttered. Customer service is not a priority.

Family Dollar store manager

The store manager Antionette at the Banning family dollar location was very rude (1481 W Ramsey St
Banning, CA 92220 United States). She didn't acknowledge any customers in the store and when she was ringing up customers was sighing and rolling her eyes. I placed my money on the counter as I do at all stores and she threw my change back. The customer behind me said oh I guess you didn't want to come to work today. Her response was not when I have rude customers. I said ma'am how am I being rude. She said money goes in my hand not the counter so if you want to be rude I'll be rude. The customer behind me said I don't feel like she did anything wrong and she said well I do so I treat people how I want. I told her I would be reported the situation and she said go ahead.

Family Dollar employees and how I was humiliated

I have tried 4 different telephone numbers for approx 3 hrs now. Yesterday I was treated so awful an humiliated at the borden, indiana family dollar store. I was there for only 2 items, but any way I stood up at register for a good limit of time one big dirty lady out front smoking and the other was out front also but on the phone. A young man was inside but stocking shelves an helping other customers. So I asked the ladies out front to run my stuff through register. Oh no im finishing my cigarette first of all, an the other acted as if she didn't even here me so I said it again I need help... We ended up having words, I was very angry an upset. I will never go in that store an i'm from here in borden an i'm going to do all I can to have something done to that store, the people working there don't want to be working there everyone can tell. It awful the way the way the v store v is v ran! I know so many people who say they are done with that store because of the employees...

Family Dollar unorganized and many failures

I am speaking on behalf of my husband who currently is an assistant manager for almost a year now. I don't understand how, as a company failed to keep your customers and employees updated without saying a word, leaving everyone hanging for 3 weeks after your store gets shut down due to pests, insects, etc. Not only the store has those problems, but other issues of the A/C unit not working, hiring lazy people to fix it when it hasn't been fixed yet properly, having theft problems, your freezers broke and you expect the managers to do all the work? they are there to do their jobs, not fixing your store because the company fails and doesn't want to. My husband and employees are very dedicated and hard workers who deserve better! I am disgusted on how you treat your employees! It's no wonder Family Dollar stores are shutting down.

Family Dollar re: customer svc

I shopped at Family Dollar, Store #11837, 11815 E. 8 Mile Rd, Warren, MI at 3:28 PM, 06/26/2019. Here are my issues:

1. Was it ok to sit my groceries on the counter close to the door where my things interfered with the other employee doing her job, and where someone can maybe take what little I had?

2. Yes I completely read the Cash Back screen but I wanted to do another amount. I pressed $0.00. I asked the cashier could I go back and change. She replied after I saw her out of the corner of my eye, roll her eyes, "Hit cancel." I asked, "The red button." I think she mumbled "Yes." Of course what happens...it went through as a charge. Her response, "Oh, guess not. It went through." I just said "Thank you, " and left. So you are smarter then me on your employers card machine, but I didn't get cash back? Oh, and I forgot to mention she was smiling, and polite to the Caucasian man/employee/Vendor, that was stocking right next to me, as I left the store. Guess he had not been there in awhile and she wanted to catch up. Guess I was the wrong color.

3. I noticed as two Caucasian men (I'm going to guess District Managers), left the store, she was polite and smiled to them as one replied "Teamwork makes the dream work!" Then she graciously turned to me, stopped smiling and gave me "resting [censored] face." I guess I wasn't the right color...again. Which happens to be the same as hers. A strong, beautiful, African American woman.

Unfortunately I don't have a car, so I will have to patronize your location again. I am just thankful I don't have to spend all of my hard earned dollars there. You see I too work Customer Service. So all her faces and moments, I have been reprimanded for in the past. I guess this is my pay back.

Family Dollar I am complaining about.. two sales representative behavior at store #6423

On the 24th of June, 2019 at about 9:08pm, I went to store #[protected] W. Morse, Chicago, IL) to buy chips for my son. After my son picked his favorite chips but also picked candle that I refused to pay for because the money on me was not enough. I asked the sales boy that attended to me to return the scanned chips as my son wish to take the candle.
I simply just told him to now scan the candle that I do not want the chips anymore. The sales rep started laughing mocking me and later called other sales rep. with hair braid (both black Americans) and subsequently joined the other laughing and mocking me. In my own view, what ever that might be wrong if there is they should be mocking or rather laughed at customers who by their buying power sustained employees pay/salaries.
I hope this should be treated as a matter of urgency as this attitude might goes beyond what we might imagine.

Family Dollar management problem

I worked at the family dollar in holly lake ranch, tx near hawkins, tx and I understand an employee should always give 2 weeks notice when leaving a job. Due to the circumstances I did not do so. The head manager misty, would stay In the bathroom for longer than 30 minutes at a time multiple times on her shift, at least the ones I worked with her. Later I had found out that she was using hard illegal drugs specifically dope, while in the bathroom and I personally have zero tolerance for it due to my childhood. Because I quit, she marked me non-rehirable. Im not trying to gain employment again I just want to see if anything can be done about drug use on the job. No drug testing was even done when I got hired even though it says in the new hire info that its a requirement. If you have any questions or anything please do not hesitate to contact me.

Family Dollar employee jaleesa in the wadley ga store

I was in the store in wadley ga at 60 butts St wadley ga 30477 and the cashier named Jaleesa cursed me out all because I asked why they want open up another register because the store was getting full and she cursed me out so bad I felt so bad and literally cried something needs to be done about this because if you don't know how to talk to people's then I believe you shouldn't work anywhere that's dealing with being in customer service where you will have to deal with other people. If you don't know how to talk to people then you need to get your employees in line and they don't need to be in that damn job. Family Dollar accusation of theft in front of several customers in the store

I was looking for a specific jar that I have recently brought from one location which I had brought the remaining jars so I traveled to the next location to see if they had any and they did not have that particular jar which are called Mason jars.. I was told they got those particular jars due to spring or summer on occasion and that they we're on clearance because of that.. while checking this particular location as I seen some different jars in which I was interested in purchasing but the price was far more than I budgeted for I told the cashier I didn't want the jars so he took the jars and as I started to leave the alarm went off in which the cashier said to me I need to come back in the store I could not leave and I said why he said cause of the alarm..I said the alarm going off has nothing to do with me so as I proceeded to walk out the door the cashier had ran to make his way to the door in which I was standing to stop me from leaving saying he's going to call the cops and I said go ahead y'all have cameras to see I didn't take anything thing out the store in which he repeated to me I need to get back in the store I couldn't leave so at that point the store manager had come also to the front of the store as I am emptying out my purse to show proof that I did not steal anything out of the store as I also showed that I had lots of cash on me. The store manager apologized and said it's okay as I grabbed my phone to record the cashier that accused me of this act of stealing and than said to me how location is a location that is known for people stealing which has a high theft rate and again I said what does that have to do with me.. I was so embarrassed OMG even the customers could not believe the way I was treated..the cashier really embarrassed me and I am really not okay with going into a family dollars location without someone else with me . I am very embarrassed about the situation and hurt that he could accuse me of something he did not see me do or in the act of doing..

Family Dollar poor management

I have recently been into your store in Sturgis Michigan, store number 3056. And I have witnessed the following: Whenever one of the cashiers punches in the manager quickly count's their register and runs off of the cashiers register and I have heard the cashier ask why are they doing that and the manager says that they are allowed to do whatever she wants to and they also close the store 10 minutes early and whenever a customer goes in the managers gets rude with them. Their is also trash in front of the back door, the young manager spends her entire shift in the break room. And the old manager puts everyone down and spends a lot of time outside smoking and the third manager spends a lot of time checking her cell phone

Family Dollar accused of stealing and personal property searched

I was at the store in snow hill, nc and it was the worst visit I have ever had and I will not go back and I will make sure I tell all my friends and family so they will never to go there too. The [censored] manager Mary, accused me of stealing in front of the other customers... when i didn't.. all I was doing was shopping around inside with some friends and stuff for me but after that I will never go there again.. and I did not appreciate being disrespected and she didn't say sorry after she found out I didn't steal anything.
