Family Dollar return

I recently visited your Porter, Texas location on July 17, 2019 at 5:22 p.m. to make an exchange on some diapers that my husband had bought. He had purchased the wrong ones. I was then told by the manager on duty that I would not be able to exchange for a different brand, given I did not have a receipt with me. He then that he could not exchange the product due to the fact that he would be going against cooperate if he exhanged the product and did not want to get in trouble or have to explain why he did it. I was highly upset at the fact that I couldn't exchange what was recently purchased. Therefore I had to purchase once again more diapers, that was not in budget to buy, but needed.

Family Dollar manager

So, I was at Family Dollar the manager Wendy was ringing me up and I bought 5.00 washing powders and gave her 20.00. She is looking in my wallet on the counter and said do you have anything smaller and I said yea but I need change for the laundromat and she said everybody is giving her 20s and I need to go to the atm to get change which, makes no sense cause the atm gives 20s and I was purchasing an item which was 5 dollars. She said something about putting a sign up. Take small bills. Also, the woman behind me was seeing how rude she was to me and Wendy told her oh she comes in here regularly so it's ok if she talks to me that way. I left a couple days later I went In there again cause I always liked Family Dollar until her rudeness. When I went to the register again all I had was a 20 cause I got them from the bank atm. I bought what I needed and she again says to be 20s what's up with these 20s. Now I am giving her a 20 to purchase my items so why is she so rude to just me. That's twice. It's not a 100 it's a 20. Now a few months back, she overcharged me for an item 50 cents. I have 6 kids every penny counts to me. Well instead, she said it's lot of paperwork for me to do over 50 over 50 cents so she reached in her purse and gave me the 50 cents. Thats when sbe started being so rude to me. After that I went to a job interview with her but she didn't like me so I didn't get the job. I did get a job at dollar General but they only worked me 5 hours a week so I am looking for something better. Thanks I just wanted you to know how rude she is to me...

Family Dollar refused service!!

I walk into the store, two workers were standing at the register, one of the young ladies (jeaneal) started I have to leave my purse at the register, I asked her my personal purse, she said yes, I proceeded to shop, she replies WE will not check you out for your items if you don't leave your bag at the register! I asked her was she refusing to service me! She replied yes if you don't leave your bag! I told her this is my purse, not a bag! She replied the sign on the door states leave all big bags and purses at the register! I told her I will not leave my personal purse at the register, I can see if I had a backpack or a Duffel bag, I have a cross purse, I came into this store on yesterday with this same purse, shopped with no problems! Now today it's a problem! She started she's only doing what her manager told her to do! I have worked in retail for 17 years in three different states, I have never been treated in such a manner! I was refused service because of my purse! This is discrimination! no one should be refused service because of their personal belongings! This issue needs to be resolved! I was overcharged a few nights ago I'm a couple things I came into the store today and I spoke with a woman named Mandy to show her the mistake on my receipt and all she told me was that it was already done and there's nothing that she can do about it I was overcharged about $9 if I can please get a return phone call I would really appreciate it my phone number is [protected]

Family Dollar items in wrong spot and overcharging of items as well as rude customer service

This store is a complete mess! Shelves are empty and aisles are full of boxes that need to be put away. Items are put away in the wrong spot and them you are charges incorrectly for items. When you bring it to the employees attention all they say is it's in the wrong spot but I didn't do it . They don't refund the difference they just say it's in the wrong spot . I will not ever return to this store. It's a shame this store has gone down hill so bad! I

Family Dollar employee stealing my purchased items

On July 10, 2019, I had another theft from my grocery bag from the employee on duty b/tw 3:00 PM & 4:00 PM. She is petite with gray hair. I feel as if I am a Target for her theft. The week before, I had my uncle watch her closely; no theft. Yesterday, I forgot to check my bags. So, she stole my TastyKake doughnuts by not giving me that shopping bag. This is her 2nd theft from me. One month ago, she stole my Hershey's Chocolate syrup. Please stop her theft! Thanks.

The shopping bag carousel at the Front cash register of this Madison, GA Family Dollar store is at the far side. If you're petite in height, you cannot see over it. My advice to all customers is that besides asking, "Is that everything?", double check your shopping bags before leaving the parking lot of this store, and at any store (even when using U-scan to purchase items by yourself). For, it is rather difficult for cashiers to miss large-sized purchased items remaining in the shopping bag carousel.

Family Dollar illegal use of residential road by family dollar 18-wheel semi-trailer trucks

We live on a residential road (N Friendship Rd) in Paducah, KY. It is located between New Holt Road and Alben Barkley Dr. There is road construction underway on Hinckleville Rd which is the one of the main DESIGNATED truck routes in our area. N Friendship is a narrow two-lane road with no shoulder, and only enough room for passenger vehicles to approach/pass safely and, as such, commercial trucks are essentially in our front yard. In the past several days, including today, (7/8/19 @ approximately 8:35am), your drivers have been using our residential street as a detour. We have spoken with the KY State DOT officials who have informed us that, because N Friendship is not a DESIGNATED truck route and is not on any truck route maps, it is illegal for 18-wheel semi-tractor trucks to use this road. We have been in contact with the McCracken County Sheriff as well as the Kentucky DOT and have received their reassurance that they will post officers on this road in order to enforce DOT regulations regarding the illegal use of this road by 18-wheel trucks and will begin issuing citations. We respectfully request that you inform/advise your drivers to respect our neighborhood and roads and to use officially designated trucking roads. We are sympathetic to the frustration experienced by your drivers when they have to wait in traffic but we are also experiencing a nearly quadruple increase in our regular road traffic without the added stress of illegal 18-wheeler traffic as well. Please note that this activity only began after road construction began on Hinckleville Rd. Thank you for your kind consideration in taking steps to rectify this unsafe and illegal situation.

Family Dollar management treatment.

Hi, I'm an assistant manager from store #8019 and I wanted to file a report against another assistant manager I work with. Her name is Angelica. I've included two pictures, one detailing the incident via text as well as a formal picture of the schedule we were both supposed to be rigorously following. As for the incident itself, this took place approximately 2:00 PM on 7/72019. I was doing my shift from 6:30AM to 3PM when an hour before I was supposed to turn the shift over, my manager texted me telling me she would be late by an hour because she scheduled a hair appointment and the stylist was only half-way done. I told her I wasn't able to stay that long as I had other plans and when I explained to her that I never come late on her shifts (which by the way, has been a repeated offense almost EVERY time she's my relief), she responded in a completely unprofessional way as you can see in the messages. I've stayed despite reluctance, filed a complaint to my store manager, I've even went as far as talking to my district manager, even though I know (from past experience) they hardly lift a finger towards the issue which explains my coming here to resolve this. I want to additionally add onto the fact that while my Store Manager instructed me to keep it cordial once she arrived to finally relieve me, which I obliged, Angelica continuously made the work environment toxic by throwing sly, demeaning remarks on my way out as I handed her over the shift. I would truly appreciate it if something was done about this, as I don't think the way things are operating are either professional or okay to do at any workplace whatsoever. I understand I won't be able to leave early every time due to manager duties needing to be completed prior to leaving, but there's no reason for her to continuously arrive late for her shift while I always give her the decency of arriving on time to relieve her.

Family Dollar store manager need a serious adjustment

My complaint is I can't understand how can one human be so dam RUDE, The store Manager whom think in his head, that he owns the store at( #6458) 680 W Hallandale Beach, Fl 33009, because that what he also say. I this his name Antoine with Dreads. every time i goes in this store and he working is a nightmare for me my whole body cruls up, because of this dam uneducation person he is so unprofessional he yells at customers and his poor staff memeber I feel so sorry for them. he always smell like weed look high all the dam time I no because of my Medical professinal back ground to be honest he needs to be drug tested. because it no way for this man to be running anyone store as a manager. as long as that man is working in that store i will never shop at Family Dollar anymore because it is not fair for me to be a customer to drive across town to another Family Dollar to shop. No way I rather shop at Dollar General and my family member will not be spending my money nor there own money within Family Dollar as long as I live in the city of Hallandale Beach this store is Band from my site... Family Dollar I am complaining about my boss

hi my name is ashley arias i am an employee(6483483#) at the family dollar located on fm 969, i have several complaints about my boss desire bleu. Friday 7/5/2019 i was scheduled to work i told her i couldnt come in, bu tprior to that i had asked her question about the pay period, we discussed it then she told me to come in and talk to her, i said ok but it wont be today which was friday 7/5/2019. As i walkin today 7/7/2019 my asm told me that desire had told her to tell me that once i came in send me because i never came in to talk to her, but not once did she(desire) tell me that i can not come in on my schedule day to work which is today. I find it funny and unprofessional for her to not tell me herself with her being the boss and all. My other complaint about is i had vacation time from June13-25, when i had asked my co worker via text to send me the schedule she(desire) had not put me on the schedule, when i saw desire on 6/25/2-19 she told me she had recieved complaints about my customer service, now her being the boss and all i expected her to tell me this before i went for vacation due to the fact that she told all my co workers about me not coming back without my knowledge. Now there is no reason nor does she have a right to speak about me amongst my co workers and tell themabout me not being an employee or not. She expects others to jump at her every beckon call when she steps out of the store to smoke her cigarettes multiple times, now to my knowledge what one of my co workers told me she knew about these customer complaints prior to me leaving for my vacation not only that every encounter i would have with a customer i would leave a note so that way she can know. I know for a fact that is not proper protocol i have been working for 15 years and not once have i ever had to deal with a boss who gossips about others employments without the actual employer being present, she is very unprofessional in many ways. I have gotten a second job and because of that she has only put me on for two days as if she wants to willingly quit, which im not going to do, if she wants to take the necessary steps as to do she she has to learn how to be a boss. I started there 4/24/2019 and I have proof of our messages if need be. Thank you for your time
