Family Dollar everything

Last night I was shopping at the Family Dollar at 174 Southfield Rd. Score Michigan. Store #08692. When I walked in I was overwhelmed with a pungent odor. It smelled like a mixture of garbage and urine. I was looking at some cloth baskets. They were all chewed up on the shelves. I grabbed 1 to look at and several mice jumped out at me. I screamed because I was not expecting this. I couldn't make the purchases I needed. The bags of dog food were chewed open and moving. I've never been more disgusted in my life. I have very bad health and this scare didn't help. I will not be going back to that store. I liked it at 1 time because it was close to where I'm staying. I do like Family Dollar., but this was an awful experience.

02-23-2018 @ 15:01:12 I made a huge purchase at the Family Dollar #07012. Realized I purchased 2 of same items after I got home and also realized an item didn't get clipped with my smart coupon once home. So this morning, 02-24-2018 @ 11:30 am with my granddaughters I took the oxi clean to return for $3.95 and I had bottle of Gain liquid softener for $4.75 that I wanted to use my Smart coupon that got missed. The manager wouldn't return my items. Was giving me a really hard time in front of my girls . Kept telling me I used smart coupon to get deal n it wouldn't give it back to me but she would not even ring it up on register to show me. Then was telling me that Family Dollar isn't suppose to even take back stuff like that .. And she was pointing to my laundry soap & softener saying it was name brand items. The line was full behind me &I was getting very frustrated for wanting to get back $3.95 and $2.00 smart coupon..after spending $71

Family Dollar customer service

I came to store at 11:30 am today to do and exchange for a blow-dryer I bought a week ago. The blow-dryer was in original packaging and I had original receipt. The manager insist that only could exchange for same product. I called customer service and after spending 1:45 mins on hold a very kind gentleman came on line and asked to speak to manager after maybe a 5 min conversation the customer service representative told me that he could do a store credit for me, gave me an incident number wich is# 6268400 and hung up. I went to register to do the transaction and manager tells me she is waiting on her regional manager to authorize transaction. Needless to say, i've been in store for over 3 hours and now i'm on hold with customer service again for another 2 hour hold. Do not visit this store in winter park the employees are horrible the customer service in unacceptable.

Family Dollar a manager in alpine tx

There is a new manger that has been there for a few months now. I just witnessed her talking down to an employee by the name of Rafael Diego. This young man was the only person I saw Working during the whole Thanksgiving holiday when everyone else was gone I asked this lady her name and she wouldn't give it to me I did however get her to give me the district managers name Rebecca. This Rebecca was not around to help during Thanksgiving. I just Wanted to make you aware that they tend to make clicks and fire the hard working people. I will be writing to the local newspaper as well. Something needs to be done about these people.

Family Dollar false advertisement

Would not honor sale posted. Said he has no control to override prices! Store #11865. Savannah, GA. Mgr Mr. Almond. Fix this please. It rang up buy one get one free, but in store sign said brown or black tags 30% off. The signs were put up on Feb 8th, 2018 and I was in the store Feb 20th, 2018. Mr Almond said it was all controlled by corporate. What a joke.

Family Dollar interiors design washcloths & bath towels. poor management

Could someone please give me a call regarding clarification of Interiors Design bath and hand towels. The ad that is running from Feb. 19th thru Feb. 25th. was not honored at (3) different FD stores that I visited. Management was very Rude when I and staff tried to get a better understanding. This was at the 1st store. I had already sent 50.00 there. The next 2 stores had the same problem. They could not or would not change or override, said that this would flag the system. I was greatly disappointed! I'm in your store at least 3 times a month. Please, please, please how can this be rectified. I'm sure that I was not the only customer that was disappointed the day o Feb. 20th 2018. I was prepared to send another 40.00 to 50.00 on the towels alone. My name is, Marva Zackery Lewis. Family Dollar poor customer service and organization

I was in the Parma, Idaho location on Monday February 19th around 3:15 with my two small children. I live in Parma and frequent this store at least once a week. as soon as I walked in the door there was a customer that I know waiting at the register, she said she had been standing, waiting for a while and if I saw the cashier to tell her there was a customer waiting. I walked down the main first aisle and seen the manager om the far wall by the toilet paper and said "Excuse me ma'am, there is a customer waiting" Im not sure her response but didn't look like she rushed to help the customer. I then try to maneuver my way through the store but there are stacks of things in most aisles that my cart wont fit through, all the while trying to keep my son close to me because things are perched like they may fall at anytime. (I know the truck was there because I couldn't pull into the parking lot from the side, which was no big deal) the door to the warehouse part is propped open and loud music was blaring. I finish my shopping and go to the register. There are two men waiting in line. They say they have been waiting a while. I stood in line behind them for probably 5 minutes thinking someone will at least check since that should be their job. the man in front of me was old so i take my kids back through the store trying to find the lady i saw earlier. I cant find her so I went to the door that was open. I ask the girl (Kayla) back there if we can get some help since there was a line and had been waiting, she said ' the lady on the other side of the store will help you." I said " i've got a cart full and two little kids, can you either get her or come help us please"(i did not want to have to drag the kids back through the maze) she said "nope" and turned away super rudely I went back up to the front and told the men there waiting that she was way rude and would not help I left my cart where it was and left the store. I can not believe the poor customer service from them ... i have been in there before and waited awhile too, and also been treated poorly. It seems the employees do not care about the customers or the store. It is usually dirty and the workers do not seem to be doing anything. I totally understand being busy or whatnot but this was ridiculous. We are a small town, if customers are treated like crap they will not come to your business. this was the last straw for me, my kids and i will not be returning.

Family Dollar unethical behaviour

I took my mother in law to family dollar store #00511 today 02/19/18. We walked in and the music was blasting lyrics that had expletive language. There was only one line open and it was down the isle.There were a few workers there but no one open another line to get the customers out of there. The cashier was dressed in her uniform but had on a hat, not sure of the policy with that but I have never seen that in any other family dollar that I have visisted. The overall store appearance was clutter. I should not have to take my mother in law to another store in another area to be serviced with some respect. I usually don't make any complaints but this store was so out of order that I had to take the time to report it.
I look forward to hearing from you and your plans for this store.

Family Dollar store is dirty inside & out clutter with merchandise in isles

I'm a new employee started 2/7/18 and I'm not one to complain but the 1st day at work I was on the register on my own and by myself. The manager was out on the floor. No training at all and was told I was a manager at one time (9 years ago) it should be easy. Very frustrating and nervous. We didn't have bags and I was using trash liners for the groceries. When I got to work that day the trash can outside was overflowing and was like that til today, that was over a week ago. Two days later we got robbed. We count our money out in front of everyone in the store, which I don't think that's safe to do, but ok. Now that we got robbed we are told to lock the doors at 9pm and let customers in and out and with one cashier having to do that is hard. Merchandise all out on the floor on carts and buggies. At closing time the assistant manager or manager makes the deposit to take to the bank, which to me is also unsafe. I've sent pictures to show you what I'm talking about. I'm still not sure if I want to quit or not. Thank you.

Family Dollar cleanliness of the store on the outside in the parking lot grounds

I recently shopped at a Family Dollar on Sunday February 18th at 5 p.m.

The location is store number 11063.
The address is 23005 Miles Road, Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44128.

The outside parking lot area was filled with trash. The situation was outright deplorable! The trash can was filled and overflowing which is probably a large part of the reason why trash was everywhere! Trash receptacles need to be emptied regularly so that this place doesn't look like a community dumpster.

I was ashamed at the horrible image this store and it's alright terrible appearance makes for the community. The staff there should see this and they should pick up the trash. It's a miserable reflection. I mean, come on...really?

I would really appreciate it, for the sake of the community, if you would address this cleanliness issue. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Winfred Hardin

Family Dollar tractor trailers parking overnight in the store parking lot

There was only 1 tractor trailer parking in the store parking lot over night, so now there are 3 different tractor trailers parking overnight and also are not family dollar trucks! The wives or friends are coming to the lot and picking the truck drivers up and sometimes they are left there for 2 or 3 days and then friends or who ever bring them back to the truck for them to go back to work! The neighbors are really tired of the noise these big trucks are making and even the coke, pepsi, and family dollar tractor trailer truck have to keep backing forward and back just to be able to deliver products to the store! Other stores do not allow these big trucks a place for overnight parking and they put up signs that say no overnight truck parking or you will be towed! This store is located on Valleydale road in charlotte, N.C. 28214 These trucks are a big nuisance and should be made to park else where because soon there will be more trucks cause it is a free place for them to park! Please take care of this and put up some signs so they will go somewhere else! All of the neighbors are tired of all the noise from these overnight parkers and we Thank You very much! By the way there is 1 truck parked over there now! wonder how long he will be there?

Family Dollar rude manager

There were 2 cashers open. One had approximately 7 or 8 customers the other had 1, so I did what any customer would do, I went to the one that had one. Well that's when the Manager reprimanded me and told me to go to the end of the other line, no explanation. I then realized she was delegating the other customers that were waiting in the other long line, one at a time, to the other register. That was absolutely fine, but they should have already been directed over there before other customers walk up that Dont realize what is going on. She made me feel very bad in front of the other customers, and came outside when I left, and wasn't giving me "friendly looks". Almost felt like " Who does she think she is anyway" I'm not a complainer, I have never written a complaint about anyone, ever. I'm a retired nurse, I worked with people all my life, and I've never had a complaint about me. But that made me feel so bad I will never go back to this store.

I walked around the store looking for a box of foam ear plugs. As I didn't see any - I asked a gentleman working there - if the store carried ear plugs? He pointed across the store with his finger - (not escorting me over) - and said "they are in the electronics department". (electronic dept didn't make sense to me - but he works there). I looked at the display case for a few minutes and still did not see what I was looking for: (a simple box of foam ear plugs). The store telephone rang and I believe I heard the salesman say his name was shawn. (a short black fellow). So he walks by and again - I say - sir - I don't see the ear plugs. He raised his voice to me and said "everything in front of your face is ear plugs!" (I was quite aghast that an employee would speak to a guest that way) {it's right in front of your face}... To which I replied - well no - skittles are right in front of my face - not ear plugs. So finally he comes over - showing me ear buds - showing me things with wires (I honest to god don't think he knows what plain wireless foam ear plugs are). There are none in the electronics department I can tell you that. I was so frustrated I walked out and let him know I would be filing a complaint.

Family Dollar manager

I'm shock applaud and dismayed that the manager of this store callled me a [censor] cause I ask her was she the manager she was at the cash register using profanity the whole staff except lady in the back... The whole staff except one lady is foul and should not have a job there.. I know it's in a black neighborhood so you guys might don't care but I would never go back into that store and spend another dollar because of how yall allow your employee to act and to talk to customers.. You need to do something before someone gets hurt... That's not the way to keep that store open do something fast cause that's not good at all.. Pissed customer

Family Dollar falsely accused of shoplifting

The manager of that store falsely accused me of shoplifting there. Telling me that I look like someone else and was banned from that store because of that. I asked to see a copy of the police report and to see the pictures from the surveillance camera. It was not produced. I have the right by usa constitution to confront my accuser in a court of law. Usca amendment #14 gives me the right of due process of the law of an accuser. And according to the 14 th amend that right was violated.

With absolute respect, a business has the ability to place a "do not trespass" upon you without ever going to court. It's only when violated when you are charged.

Family Dollar family dollar robert lee

Family Dollar is our shopping store we moved here a year ago. Family Dollar was real organised and we weren't cheated of our money. It's not the first time since this new Manager came in. Over charged. I bought a propane exchange for $20.00, and top and bottom gown for $16.00, and a 3 pack gain dish liquid for $5.00 and a 12 pack budlight beer for $13.50. Without tax it is, $54.50 I was charged $71.21. I notice even when they got them marked down they end up charging us regular price. They r rude. All freezers r empty and nasty.

Family Dollar employee husband harassing customers

I shop at my family Dollar in Valley station ky on dixie hwy pretty much everyday. I generally will run in to grab a gallon of milk or catfood, etc. Because I live right across the street and it's convenient for me. This evening around 7pm I went in with my granddaughter and her little friend to purchase a replacement iPhone charger and paper plates, a poster board, and a few other items. I was followed by a employees husband who does represent family Dollar and who is not employed by family Dollar. After I choose my charger and placed in in my grocery cart, he proceeded to rudely tell meI have to take the charger up to the counter beforeI can continue getting my items. I was confused because the chargers are all around the store at various end caps. Not behind the counter or even close to the counter. I told him ok that's fine and carried it up. I then got the rest of my purchases and went to pay. I complained to the cashier while u was paying telling her (the wife of the man who followed me) this whole situation was uncomfortable and strange. She told me that's how it is and don't come back if I don't like the way she runs "her" store

Family Dollar cleanliness of outside of store

The Family Dollar on the corner of 30th and Mithoffer in Indianapolis IN is a trash dump! The Managers if that store should be ashamed of themselves! I will keep calling and complaining until someone finally takes care of the outside of this store ! Trash is everywhere and no one seems to care ! I will not shop there and will spread the word! It is making this area look worse ! Clean up your store inside and out !

Family Dollar customer service

My name is Deborah Davis I has been a regular customer at my neighborhood family dollar store 6344. Today I went to purchase some Tide and it was on the shelf for $5.75. I went to the cashier and my total was more that I expected it to be. Store Manager John was the cashier he said that the Tide was $9.75, I then said to him there is a sign the said $5.75 come let me show you. I got irritated and we walked to see the sign. He then said it was in the wrong place, which is not the customers problem or fault. I said but the sign says $5.75 he cuts me off and said it in the wrong place and you want it or you don't. he sais he is tried people wanted something for nothing as he raises his voice at me. I said to cancel my purchase and leave the store I turn around to get a phone number for a manager and he says I am the manager I said is there someone over you he says NO! As his raises he voice at me. He yell at me saying to get out of the store! I have been coming in that store for more that 10 years and have never been spoken to with such disrespect. No customer should be spoken to in that manner. I work for a hospital in Charleston and when I come in with my scrubs on he attitude is nicer. Today I was dressed down and he treats me like I was stealing. There was a store full of people and I was very embarrassed.

Family Dollar Manager Jay at 5525 w division

On 07/08/18 when to 5525 W Division and I believe her name is Jay she the manager from this location I ask her if she sell I phone changers, she was sitting down by the register on her phone, when I ask her about the charger she still didn't even make any eye contact and said is over there with a attitude, I ask we're over there and she didn't reply so I told her every time I come in to this location she had a mean attitude tour me, she reply I don't [censor]ing care, why the [censor] you keep coming to this store, I reply WOW, Then she said( don't [censor] with me when am pregnant.) Not sure if she racist because am Hispanic or she doesn't like me, am a regular customer at this location for more then 5 years and never had this issue until this year. Other employees at this location are friendly but this girl name (Jay) is no good for this industry or position this is not the first time she does this to me. Did she forgot who make her Paycheck? The guest are the one who make their check if she pregnant and doesn't want to deal with guest, then she shouldn't being working at all. I am a general manager from a restaurant at downtown location. I didn't know family dollars treat the guest this way. I will be making a complaint for racist. And i will never come back to this location, i will let all my friends and family about this location...
