On Dec.7, 2010 I went to store#11811 at 6222Winchester Rd I bought two net 10 phone cards a $50.00 and a $25.00. The air time pin# worked on the $50.00, but the $25.00 said the pin# is invalid. I keyed it in several times and it said the same thing. I went back to the store and the manager said there is nothing she can do. I went back to the store the same day at 8:40pm. I spent my LAST MONEY so my children can have phone service while I'm at work. All I want is another card.It's not my fault the card is no good. I don't want a refund just another card. That really hurt because that was my last money and I'm a single parent. I just hate when you spend your hard earned money on crap.I need that phone on to communicate with my children. They had the nerve to tell me they sorry. SORRY DON'T GET MY PHONE ON. Memphis have some really horrible stores they are always nasty, and the employees attitudes are nasty as well. Hire some people that value customers and their job!######&&&&

Checked out with3 items that came up to $4.25, I gave the cashier $20.00 he gave me .75 change and no receipt, I asked him where's my other change and my receipt, he stated I only gave him $5.00, I called the other cashier to come help me she was checking in the chip truck, I told her what the problem was she had him to recount the drawer, the first time he messed up the count so she had him to count it again she stated that the head Manager would be in at 4:00 PM and would check the camera. It was the Family Dollar store in Ferriday La. The store # is 00664.I will return to the store at 4:00pm when Manager comes in. Thank you Johnny Jordan phone # [protected]

There's a worker names Lisa out in uvalde tx family doller store she is very rud to the customers and always looks hung over and try asking for help and she just screams to us were the products are at and could not find it so we left this been happening alot every time she working we don't go to that store I got other family members same thing been happening

I went to Family Dollar on Thanksgiving Day.
A woman named Mary waited on me. She was rude and obnoxious! I go in this store a lot, and have never been treated so badly. I asked very nicely to get lease out my items in a bag, she snickered. So I placed them myself. Then my card for some reason didn't work, so she snickered again! I told her how sorry I was, that I had washed the card, but would go to my car and return with another.
When I ran back in the store, there were a few people behind me. I apologized to them and then I turned the use my card. The woman looked at me and then reached over my head and started waiting on the people behind me!
She did that to be hateful! She started talking out loud and saying, there ain't gonna be none of dat today. I was appalled! I asked her why she didn't either let me run my card, or check them out while waiting the 15 seconds it took me to go to my car? She laughed and snickered again. And said, you didn't expect me to let those people wait. I said, no, but you waited until I got back and went to use my card before you said or did anything.
Mind you, she is arguing with me! So I moved my stuff to the next counter, she followed me!😳 She kept on harassing me.
She kept talking loud, sipping on her Sonic drink, and she wasn't well kept. I found her very unprofessional and irate! I answered her back saying, you just need to leave me alone, but she chose to keep on talking. Rude, loud and obnoxious! When I got to the other register the you lady, Kimberly was very nice.
And I usually go to Kimberly, but her line was full she I went to the other line, boy do I regret that! I'm not sure how you handle your people, but she needs to be reprimanded.

I have quit going to Family Dollar before, because of the rudeness of the workers, but this is beyond rude, this was harassment.
In my opinion this was the rudest and Family Dollar employee has ever been. Let me say that At the same Location, Kimberly is a Joy!
I'll never go back until you all address this issue. I have a lot of family that feel bad he same. You may contact me if you wish.

I go to Family Dollar very often. I love the great deal especially the cards. But the outside is filthy. The glass is so gross and dirty. Cobwebs everywhere. Garbage, cigarette butts etc. I want to say something but know the employees living in a small community. But someone has to clean up the front. Bad first impressions. Thank you.i worked at Kinney Drugs for years. There was a company that came and clean the windows. Plus we had to sweep the front entry area. Anyway. I hope they clean it up soon.

Store on Mohican and Plank Road in Baton Rouge. My husband needed to cancel some items. Cashier needed the manager a man name Lindsey to do it. Mr. Lindsey took a long time to come and do it. When he came up front, he started laughing in the mexican cashiers face like it was a joke. We were ready to go and he too busy laughing and being rude to the cashier. I thought that mexican was gonna cry! Everytime I come in this store Lindsey flirt with me and other chicks. He stares at our buts and breasts and asks for cell numbers! He did the same thing when he worked at the Family Dollar in Delmont village! He always outside the store with different women hugged up. He got a wife and little girl that come up there and stay all day just hanging around in the store to see if he cheatin on her. She be mugging chicks in the store cause she think somebody want lindsey! He gone get reported for sexual harassment!

I was in store #11395 (Albany, GA).. the line was backed up and the 2nd register was finally opened. Myself and another gentleman stood in line for about 15min while the cashier (which I found out once it was my turn 15min later was the assistant manager) carried on a conversation and took his sweet time ringing the customer up while there were at least 8 to 10 people in line. I understand connecting with the customer but not at the cost of other paying customers. He didn't apologize for the wait nor did he say thank you after the sale. I've gone to this store since moving back to Albany but after this experience, I'll travel a little further for what I need.

I went in family dollar and started to ask random customers if they were a
Driver of a car who left their lights on. No one claimed they did. I approached the cashier who was training the young lady .I asked the employees, and the trainer if they drove the car. The trainer looked at me and said why kinda rude like I was interrupting her. She didnt even say thanks for asking or something of that nature. Not friendly at all. I know their probably tired
Or could have problems at home or anything to that effect. I don't want to be a trouble maker. But Mrs.Jessica(lightskin, 40 to 50 yrs. old ) was very short with me. Hope the trainee doesn't pick on being that way. I NEVER COMPLAIN over petty stuff but this one I couldnt ignore.THANK YOU! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

To whom it my concern, I Betty Dixon went into the Family Dollar at the plaza in Belle Glade Florida. I saw that the cheetos jumbo puffs had a sticker on them 2 for 5 dollars. I grabbed2 bags went to the chech out and the cashier charged me. 3.25 cent. I told her they were on sale 2 for 5. The cashier rang the bell but know one came. I walked to the back and called Milency Francois for assistance.I showed him the t ticket on the cheetos he looked at me and said oh the sale is over and you can't get it for that price. I asked him why you didn't take down the tag. Francois frown and said well you can't get it.I asked for the manager, he said he's not here. I said who's in charge Francois said the assistant manager in front. I walked up to ask the assistant manager Francois yelled out in front of a crowed store don't give it to her she can't get. I'm trying to talk to the manager but he's yelling she not getting it and walked away. Lovely Chalestin called Francois over and said that lady asking for costumer service to complain.he looked at Lovely and said I don't care who she called and he walked out the store down to the restaurant and got food on the clock. He was been very rude and disrespectful to me in front of lovely for her to be a manager.I did not raise my voice or disrespectful to him. Lovely should have put that young man in his place.

The family dollar on ehrinhaugh st in elizabeth city nc is the worst store I have ever been to! Your employees are rude and the return policy is screwed up! My sister was a manager for one of your stores so I know what your policies are! The manager is very rude and I have stopped shopping there because of it! I go to dollar general now!. Also I bought a pair of slippers there and they fell apart in a week! But because of tour manager I can't return them!?

Yesterday 11/30/2017 when I was in store located in Texarkana Texas on New Boston road I noticed the line back up and no one would help on the other occupied register. The young man Derrick was trying to help customers with coupons/price errors on a receipt. Instead of his manager Jessica helping she started to belittle him in front of the customers. This not the only day and I don't think it's right/fair that your managers belittle their coworkers especially if they're not giving a helping hand

I submitted this complaint on the family dollar website 11/12/2017 with no response from them yet.
My issue was On 11/11/17 I purchased Tide Simply 60 ounces for $4.95 and I had a Proctor and Gamble coupon for $1 off One Tide simply detergent 37 ounces or higher with expiration date 11/11/17. The coupon wouldn't scan so the cashier called the manager over to put it in manually and the pregnant manager did not know how to do it manually, so I could not use the coupon and get the $1 off... She told me that I had to talk to the store manager and he would be in the next day 11/12/17 However, when I went there, he was not scheduled to work and wouldn't come back until Monday 11/13/17. The manager that worked 11/11/17 at 3939 west Ogden Ave Chicago IL 60623 was not professional...because when I left out the store and came back in, she was talking to the other customers about our situation and it was none of their business. She was not helpful at all and appeared to not care that she couldn't help with my $1 off coupon.
I would love for the managers to know how to handle a coupon if it doesn't scan properly.

I just left the family Dollar on peters Creek parkway in Winston-Salem NC. I called before I came to the store to make sure that I could get cash back. Clerk said yes. Go to store to make transaction, she said she had given out all her cash, she could not do it for me. I called store back to speak to manager, of course he put me on hold gave me a bogus number to call I would most definitely like to speak to someone and I will be calling news 2 for consumer reports! I went into the store in Carthage like I normally do a few times per week. I am usually greeted by the entire staff and everyone is usually working and helping the clients. There is a young lady named Laurie (Lori?) that has worked there for some time now and she is so rude and unpleasant every time I go in there. She is always using profanity and either sitting on the register counter or standing on something near the counter. I have heard several managers ask her to not to this and that and she will mumble under her breath loudly in front of customers. This particular day the manager on duty came to assist her while he was assisting another client in the store. He helped her and then said something disrespectful to him in front of a line of customers. I looked at her very rudely and said Wow. Really? And she just kind of shrugged like she didnt care. I have told her before that she is very rude and she needs to watch her language when customers are in the store especially while children and her Elders are in the store. Its very unprofessional for her to do this as well as a lack of respect to us the customers. I mentioned this to a store manager before and they said they would speak to her. I was l already skeptical going into the store because its been robbed twice in the last month or so. There are plenty of people who would love to have her job that she does not appreciate. I was shocked when i heard the fowl language spewing out of her mouth in front of customers. I went and found the manager and told him how disgusted i was and that i would be calling corporate because she keeps disregarding the customers. I never see her working. I see the managers and the CSR's. She is either outside smoking or on her phone. I was in there a few months ago and asked her to service the people in line because she was on the phone. A young lady was a manager at that time, African American. I told the manager at that time how rude she was right in front of her and how disgusted i was with her behavior. Now enough is enough. She needs to respect the store and its patrons. I am a loyal customer and i deserve respect and i demand it. Especially when i am in the store with my children. I plan on speaking to the District manager when he visits the store. I informed the manager that i would return, me and my husband to speak to him. The store has did a total 360 with the new management and staff. its bigger and cleaner and the managers are very pleasant. A you man named Cory always helps me when I am in there and another guy named Gary helps my children when they come in. The 2 managers are always very helpful and help my mother out when she comes in. I believe in having positive energy in all surrounds and businesses. Please address this matter. I dont want to have to travel to another store just so that my children and mother dont have to deal with that garbage.

I purchased a pregnancy test went home used and it didn't work I then came back to store and the manager said I couldn't get a different one if it has been used I then said how do you know if it doesn't work if you don't use it she gave me attitude and didn't want to respond I said hello I'm talking to you I just asked a question she yelled and said I just told you what I said I asked for her corporate number she took 10 minutes to get it then she came out and threw it down on the belt I asked her what was her name and she yelled to me Stella I said can you put it on the paper she told me no and ran off talking trash I been on the phone with corporate for a hour now and still no answer yet this is ridiculous and bad service I will not be back to family dollar I rather spend more money with Walgreen's

Falsely being accused if stealing, being followed out of. The store and being told to. Lift up his. Shirt!.
We was also threatened and told not to come back that we are all trespassed?!
When she was asked for corporate number I was told no, good luck finding on my own.
We then called the police and. Was Told to contact corporate offices, that this may be. A. Civil suit.
Will be waiting to hear from someone. And will keep trying.

I went to the mandan family dollar at 4:15 pm Nov 29 and proceeded to try to purchase pop that was marked 3 for 10 I got up to the till and it rang up at 4.75 when I tried to get the manager to fix it she started agruing with me stating that it was not her fault nor her problem. She continued to get mad and kicked me out of the store I go there everyday for my grocery needs... I spend 50 dollars or more each time I go to your store. Almost every time I go there the sale items I attempt to get are "marked wrong". Which 99 percent of the time they won't fix the issue. I'm a very loyal customer and love your products, but I don't think I will be shopping with your chain anymore due to the blatant rudeness of your managment.
