Family Dollar illegal working

I have been working for family dollar for a week now and i haven't. Got not one dime [f pay. I have been working with out paperwork. I have yet not signed not one paper but yet again the manager has not cared and wants me on the clock. I have a a law suit. I have called the family dollar 1-800 number but all i get is a hold. I want my pay and i want to report the GM in charge for drinking on the job its all in cameras. I want my money asap or my lawyer will be calling

Family Dollar did not honor advertised promotions, digital coupon offers, or paper coupons

On 10/28/17, Store Manager Tiffany was rude and made the shopping experience an unpleasant event. For example, I said "Hello" with a smile to her and she didn't even reciprocate the pleasantries. Also, she was dismissive when my coupons and the digital promotion did not work for items purchased per signs in the store and online weekly advertisement. Her inability and willingness to resolve the problem was handled with a "I don't care attitude". She said several times that it was nothing she could do to honor the advertised promotions or to honor the coupons I provided that were not scanning using the Family Dollar handheld scanning device. I was so annoyed by her attitude & the system and/or equipment problems, I left the store without purchasing a single item. Ironically enough, the same coupons she said did not scan at Family Dollar scanned with no problem at the Walgreens up the street in Alpharetta, GA. This was my first time in this store and my last. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!

Family Dollar rude mgr&employees

I went into store 2293 as I normally do.On 10/28/17 I proceeded to checkout Merica took my coupons and my items pulled her cell phone out and took a picture of my qs &the stuff I was purchasing.I asked why are you doing that? She said she has to.This is the 2nd time I've came into the store&they've taken pics and called whomever it is that they call.After the call she says we cnt take that.I said why? She said idk Deanna says we cant so we cant.I asked who is Deanna? If the items listed on the coupon are the items I've purchased&they ARE NOT EXPIRED you are supposed to honor my coupon.I said everytime some one comes in with coupons they start making there own rules up on wether or not they're gonna accept your coupons.I had my friend also go into the store to see if they would also do this and they did she said they took pics and called on the phone.She also said Deanna was not honoring her coupons.This was very poor customer service not only did she hold up the line of customers behind me but I had to wait exactly 30mins just to purchase 6 items that I had brought in coupons for.My coupons are up to date and I always get the items listed on the coupon.Ive been couponing for 5years& Ive NEVER had someone take pictures of my coupons and my items to send to a mgr.She gave no explanation when I asked why she did that.I was very upset&embarassed Ive told all of my friends on my couponing websites how rude and unprofessional the employees at this family dollar is&advised them NOT TO SHOP THERE.The store is ALWAYS CLUTTERED BOXES IN THE AISLES, Employess Talking about customers, chewing&popping gum, eating at the register, &on their cell phones.I live relatively close to this store but I rather drive the extra 15min for good customer service.This is horrible it seems more and more Family Dollars are becoming Rude, &Unprofessional.Also the prices are entirely way more than Walmart.I shop& coupon at Dollar Tree, Kroger, Walmart, & Meijers and they are all EXCELLENT customer friendly stores w/ great customer service.Family dollar used to be one of my favorites .

Family Dollar nika an ast. manger she says on e pawnee 3040 I believe address store #08457

Its 35 mins til close im shopping like always at family dollar said hi when i walked in im a regular so i was noticed.spoke and began shopping only went to get laundry soap n t.p. but seen discount jackets stopped locked seen 1 and put in carr got my list its 17tilclose im getting checked out the nice gentleman that was assiating me was talking to me and i didnt have a jacket with a tag on it and he quoted 10$ i agreed paid bill loafed n left.as im walking out at door i seen it was 15 not 10 i asked my husband who was taking laundry soap to truck to hand me nak jacket im gettin my $ bak well Nika not sure how to spell says right away " r i serious" i turned to ask what do yoy mean i just bought this and was not price i got told i wanna refund mind you she standing at the door tearing down box and saus well we have a policy no refunds at night.i say excuse me is there a sign saying so because he which i ment clerk said no problem.now ibstead of helping she insisted on arguing saying WEll its almost closed and not to mention i have to go around and use my key so i said well you couldve been there already and i told her no way to talk to a regular dam near everday customer like this.she kept ob saying well its been a long day and i dont care how im talking i juat now i dont have time for this and kept gpung and foung making me very angry amd upset.and the whole time she arguing not doing nothing .its total time 7til close i was in my vehicle goin home.now im 45yrs old been going day1 since they opened as well as my mom sister hubby.and we alk shop almost everyday you can rewind video see me all the tine.but now since family dollar wants to treat a regular like this im so upset been mad all evening not fair to be yelled at and talked so nasty to.i will not ever shop again at a family dollar and neither my family.dollar tree will now have our buisness.wish that on 10/29/2017 would rewind videos at 35mins til close.omg you will be disappointed.

Family Dollar discrimination

I was told I couldn't shop unless I leave my purse at the front door. Out of 12 consumers I was the only one stop. I was embarrassed, humiliated, a discriminated against. I was the only black person in the store everyone else was mexican. A white consumer spoke up and said "why are you picking on her when there are 5 or more purses in the dam store... Treat everyone fair...Not cool". He left then I asked your employee for his name... He wrote down the wrong name. The store manager gave me his right legal name. I have been a very valuable consumer of yours for over 10 years. I am calling my attorney... Very bad for business. I have a video of your store. There are no signs stating we cant where a particular purse in your store.

Family Dollar manager worker security.

I when to store #06788 today their was a sign that said buy two candies of $5 and get one free.I ask the security guard and he said yes, then she said because it was over so why was the sign still there I even took it to them and the supervisor 1209392 didn't want to hear it.You have an addict as a security and people working that are very disrespectful

Family Dollar digital coupon

I just left store 7747. You have a digital coupon advertised for Febreeze One, buy 2 get $4.00 off. The coupon was not available and I had to stand in line twice (once to return the items) as your store would not honor what they have advertised. The cashiers were not helpful and had " oh well" attitudes. I'm extremely disappointed in Family Dollar brand as this is not the kind of service I expect to receive.

Family Dollar digital coupons and digital ads not being meet!

I recently went to the Family Dollar in Lester Square which is located in Sophia West Virginia. I had the digital ads from the app and the cashier said they could not meet them because they did not have those ads in the store. The guy did not ask me anything about my digital coupons which any other store that has Digital Coupons asks to see if you have any to use that day. And when I made a comment after checking out that I did have digital coupons instead of doing what other Family Dollar employees have done which was grabbing the receipts and redoing it so my $20 worth of coupons would have been used he treated me like I was stupid and gave me an attitude because I said I wanted to do a refund because I wasn't getting those items if I could not use my coupons. And one of the items I had a coupon for her that it was also on sale at Dollar General he gave me an attitude about. And today the 28th my boyfriend went into the same Family Dollar with the digital ad for the Charmin Essentials at $4.95 was told that it was regular price because they did not have the weekly ad that he had. In this ad stated that it was good until the 31st of October so not all of your family dollars are honoring your app they are pretty much running the store how they want. I don't shop at Family Dollar as much as I would like to because every time I do there is a problem with the customer being treated like they don't know what they're talking about and it seems to be the consensus of most of the people in my area that I have talked to. Which is why you are losing business to Dollar General which I foresee not being good for you since most of the stores in this area of closed down since they have moved a Walmart closer. I've even heard people say if they're going to be treated like that they might as well go to Walmart at least the products are better.

Is it possible that some of these coupons are for participating locations only? I did notice that it said quantities are limited on the ad.

Family Dollar being ban because my daughter has mental illness

Was at family Dollar in warrensburg ny the other day my child has severe mental illness and she went into a manic episode .she tried returning phone and could not but after they told her come back Monday she went outside and went in manic episode .I had to have clerk dile 911 to have her taken to hospital where she was admitted and sent to another hospital. Now I understand that it might upset people to see what was going on but with her mental illness it can come at any moment I her mother was ban from going to the store as well as my mentally I'll child . I feel like I was discriminated because my child is mentally I'll and I even apologize to the store for what had happened but people don't understand mental I'll people don't always know what they are doing . So I don't think I should of been banned I understand they may not want my child there no more but you can't control when a pearson has a manic episode it can come anytime with her mental illness

Family Dollar smart coupon

Hello. I wanted to use the smart up on the in one of your stores, I typed in my phone number and asked the cashier if I need to push the green button to apply my coupons and he said that I just have to write in my phone number in. I go over my receipt later and see that none of the coupons were applied when mainly I but the things that I had coupons on. Can I do anything to try and get those savings the didn't apply?

As long as you keep your receipt, take your items back to return them. Have the cashier cash you out for the return amount. Re-purchase your items, type in your phone number, hit the green button on the pin pad afterwards. Let the cashier hit total. Ask and make sure the coupons you have clipped came off. Then you can cash out for your purchase. It is a process to do, but if you want to save then its what has to be done. Just be sure that you have the coupons clipped and that what you get matches what the coupon states. If the coupons don't come off when total is hit the cashier can't over ride any of the coupons since it all goes through the app.

Family Dollar cashier/ employee

I went into the Family Dollar store in Capon Bridge, WV on Tuesday October 17th, 2017 to purchase some tobacco/cigarette rolling tubes on my way back from my sons' doctors appointment. I'm sure the cashier saw me walk into the store. Right after I entered she went to a nearby aisle ( which she could see her register from) and started stocking the shelf. I waited on her patiently for a while and eventually thought that maybe she didn't see me walk in, so I rang the bell which was sitting on the counter. She came over to the register and as soon as I told her what I wanted to purchase, she immediately got an attitude saying that she couldn't sell them to me because there was a man just in there trying to purchase the same thing and that I was just trying to buy them for him. I responded back that I was purchasing them for myself and that I smoke. She retorted back in a very ignorant attitude that she didn't have to sell them to me, wasn't going to and that was her right. She wrote down a number for me to call and said that if they said that I could purchase them that she would gladly sell them to me. My cell phone doesn't have service in that area of Capon Bridge so I couldn't call the number she gave me. I calmly left the store although I was very upset. I entered the store by myself, not with anyone else so I don't see how she can claim that I was with anyone. Just because I walked in right after someone else did and was trying to purchase the same product that they were trying to buy is not proof positive that I was trying to buy it for them. I was actually telling her the truth when I said that I was purchasing them for myself and that I smoked. It's not my fault or responsibility that someone else tried to purchase something and she wouldn't sell it to them and I shouldn't be punished or held accountable for it. I am of age to buy tobacco products and I had my ID on me at the time so she shouldn't of had any reason to refuse selling them to me. I ended up having to go out of my way to another store past my house when I could have just went home instead (if she would have sold the tubes to me). That store lost a customer and my business because I will never go there or purchase anything from there again. Her attitude was very unprofessional and very unacceptable. I feel that she should be the one punished in some sort of way for making false accusations against customers and for treating them so disrespectfully.

Family Dollar assistant manager/ employee

I've always enjoyed my experience at Family dollar in Anderson, Indiana (205 E 14th St.) but this past month has been horrible and intense because of a particular staff memeber. I believe she is the New Assistant Manager. This is my second time witnessing her attitude towards customers. Not just any customers but African American males. I don't think she realizes that her negativity affects everyone in the store, especially customers. I hope that this matter will be taking care of ASAP!

Family Dollar 8690 family dollar store memphis, tn

You all are putting customers at risk with a dangerous store manager male name Jonathan to operate this company running this nasty and unprofessional business. My mother and I witnessed this manager run after and attack customers for family dollar product not his items. He can get killed or customers and employees are at risk daily. The store is a wreck since a professional and harded dedicated manager got fired for wrongful termination. This store is the community pride but not by who is operating this store. The district manager Tracy seems to accept this horrible store with freight everywhere. We couldn't shop or get down the aisles. I went to this store at 8:33 p.m. on 10.25.2017 and store was locked. The lady name Kimberly stated she the manager and said we are closed. This location doesn't close till 10 p.m. and my mother needed several products one being meds. The young lady stated to police guy we are closed sick of these ([censor] I am trying to go home). They where playing loud music not to company standards. So you all close this store on a daily record for employees I watched this night go to B 52 liquor store down the street. I will let my love ones no Family Dollar will NOT receive our business and friends. I am very sadden after this happened. This store always open up LATE and close early. You have a unconsiderate district manager knowing that this store is closing early and opening late. The other manager lady used to run this store professional and clean. Now district manager they name call Tracy doesn't care bout your business. This has been reported to her and nothing has been done, because its still happening. So I am emailing corporate because you guys have lost to faithful shoppers for this unacceptable behavior and people u shouldn't have working for you all. I am so hurt and will NOT be shopping at Family Dollar!

Family Dollar return

My daughter is 9 months pregnant, we had a baby shower. She got two packs of kidget diapers. My grandson, her son was highly allergic to them. We just wanted to return them and pay the difference and get luvs. None of your stores are letting us do it. What are we supposed to do with these diapers that she don't want to put on her new baby girl. I don't understand we wasn't trying to get money. All we wanted to do was exchange and pay the difference. You don't realize how up set this has made her or me. We also received a pack of receiving blankets. That were blue. We didn't even try to take them back. She is a single mom and it's not fair. I think it would have been just plan rude to ask your guess for a receipt.

Family Dollar workers

I always shop at Family Dollar store #05353 In Dixie Inn Louisiana, today I went in to pick up on some things. First they had a sign on the door saying no bags, next when I went to play for my things I had a hundred dollar bill, this new lady told me I can't change that I just got here so I ask where was the assistance manger she never went to get her to see if she can get some change for the hundred. I have been shopping there every since it opening up. She put my things on the counter and said no bags if you don't have bags can you please give your customers a box or something to put there things in. This store have a new manager, and a new cashier that don't need to be working for this company. Can you please put someone in charge that knows how to talk, and treat there customers? We as customers spend to much money in Family Dollar to be treated like that. I have been shopping there so long I know who the employees is. I would love to continue shopping there, but if you'll don't fix this problem you will be lossng all your customers.

Family Dollar defective product/manager had no customer service skill

Purchase cleaning supplies left the store picked up bags off the seat to bring inside notice an strong odor and that all my bags plus seats were wet took the things that were intact inside all except one bag which was full of wasting liquid immediately taking the defective good back spoke to cashier who informed manger located on 1450 ne 123st who immediately said i left the store with it .then turn around and then said the bag not broken .smh wondering what is the world coming to when your spending your hard earned money and not receiving product you payed for nor customer service

Family Dollar jello strawberry gelatin

under neath the price was .75 cents a box, , i grabbed 3, when it rang up at $1.00 a box i said something to cashier, she said oh well i will let him know later, , well that was on the 19th of oct, yesterday i stopped in for one other item and jello still said .75 for the strawberry, , so i went and took a picture of it on my phone.. they do not want to make anything right, , had trouble with workers in the same store 8-10 years ago just recently started going back, , , i guess bad decision. i am keeping both, so mad thinking of talking to a lawyer as receipt is dated and picture on phone dated as when taken. Family Dollar trash

Sirs, I work in a small town for a local museum. You recently built a new store directly across the alley way from us. Since the store opened we have noticed excessive amounts of trash in front of and behind our business. Recently the Family Dollar store was asked to mow the 7-8 ft tall weeds that were on their side of the alley. They hired someone to mow, but the person did not pick up the trash beforehand and mowed all of the trash with the weeds, so now all of that trash is blowing all over our downtown area! This is unsightly! We take pride in our establishment as well as our community and we just ask that your businesses keep their areas clean and maintained. We have volunteers in our community that go out and pick up trash weekly. I know they would appreciate that everyone take care of their own areas as to not add to their work. Thank you.

Family Dollar i'm complaining about customer service

I just left family dollar here on almonster blvd in New Orleans la The time to open is 7 I got there about 7:30 am and the store was still closed because the lady said no cashier was there but Two people where in there sitting around doin nothing that's crazy and I had to go 20 minutes out my way for a Store, just terrible and I'm sure she was a manager and getting paid to do nothing
