Refrigerator
purchased fridge in June 2022. After install the doors did not fit right, the water dispenser in the door did not operate, and the ice maker in the freezer part of the fridge did not work. A week or so later a Frigidaire repair man came to the house. He was able to get the water dispenser to work but needed to order door parts and a new ice maker. In the middle of August the temperature controller stopped working and our food started to freeze in the refrigerator. I adjusted the temp control up to 40 deg and the unit is now at 30 deg. And we still do not have the door parts or the ice make from more than a month ago.
I talked to the store people about a return and they said Frigidaire people had to authorize a return. They will not do that. They require a repair person verify the unit can not be repaired before they will do anything. The authorized repair people can squeeze me in in 2 weeks. So two weeks more of frozen food on a new unit. It used to be appliances, while not working as long as they used to, at least worked when new.
Desired outcome: I would like to be able to return the Refrigerator. I see nothing but trouble and for an almost $3000 unit I think I have the right to expect more.

I put in a claim and opened a warranty file to which they told me to send my ice machine to them. Which I did at MY cost! When it go to them, nobody was available to receive it so it was shipped back to me at MY cost again. NOBODY helps in this company. Their customer service or support will not let you speak to anyone above them to figure out what is going on. They won't give you an email to a manager to forward your issues seeking resolution since customer service and support are useless. I am extremely ill and to pay $180 for this ice machine that doesn't make ice and then to send it to them at the cost of $90 coming out of the pocket of a person that is not working because of illness is outrageous. My husband purchased this for me as a gift and I chose Frigidaire because I trusted the brand. Their team is incredibly dismissive, they don't care. Nobody will help you, they continually give you the run around and tell you to call back another day or when you call their [protected] #, your lucky if anyone answers, usually it says there is nobody available to serve you and hangs up. Save yourself the time and choose a different brand. I will NEVER purchase anything from FRIGIDAIRE or it's other brands again. So disgusted with this company!
Desired outcome: A new ice machine sent to me on YOUR cost and reimbursement for the costs that I am out for shipping it to you and it being shipped back to me because your staff wasn't there to receive it yet it was delivered during regular hours.

Bought refrigerator 6/21. In April of 2022 the ice maker quit working. Still under warranty so called repair place. Took a month to get a person out to look at it. They determined it was the board and needed replace. Waited over a month for the part to come and weeks to get it installed. Ice maker worked for maybe 3 weeks and quit again. This time it was under extended warranty. Called Frigidaire and they sent someone out within a couple days. The repairman said he thinks it is the heater which cannot be replaced because it is foamed in. He said he will have to replace the board again because they won't give me a new fridge unless I have had 3 service calls. He said he would let me know what he will do later that day. No call from him. I wait for 10 days and call Frigidaire and she says the repairman did not make any notes so she will put in a request to see what was going on. She said to call back in 2 days. This is terrible customer service. To pay thousands of dollars for a lemon that they will not replace because it has not had 3 repairs. I asked for headquarters number to talk to someone and she said she did not have that.
Desired outcome: A response and a new refrigerator.
Frigidaire Professional Appliances
We purchased all new Frigidaire Professional Appliances in 2016 and we have had nothing but continuous problems with all of them after the first year.
Refrigerator - Freezer ice maker rarely works properly and there is always a frozen leak that causes ice to stick together and makes a mess. The door ice and water dispenser is practically unusable as there is rarely any ice and very low water pressure. (It is not the filter or water line as they have all been checked/replaced)
Range - Oven Ignitor gave out after 2 years. The touch buttons to set the clock, etc don't work well. Words around the dials are wearing off. The Convection oven option has never worked from the very first time we tried it. Just recently we received an error code F-50 for the oven and the entire house filled with the smell of gas. Had to disconnect/reconnect the power to get it to finally work properly.
Microwave - The wiring harness that goes to the panel on the door had to have all wires repaired because they broke at the hinge area and weren't routed in a safe manner. The stainless steel panel next to the door became separated and had to be glued back into place.
Dishwasher - Have had to replace both the top and bottom rotating sprayers. Had to replace the entire control panel because the buttons stopped working due to water leakage (it is recently starting to happen again). The dishes will not dry anymore. The have to be hand dried or left in the racks with the door open for many hours to air dry.
We will never purchase Frigidaire appliances again!
Desired outcome: Everything repaired and/or replaced to fully functional working order free of charge.
Faulty Fridge, with no remediation even after 3 weeks
Highly Dissatisfied with the services. I have just got immensely harassed purchasing your product. Bought since July 27th and today is August 23, I have not been able to use the fridge as its not working. It was for our rental unit which we could not put on rent as the fridge was not working and we lost a month rent. who is going to compensate that? A repair guy was sent when we had complained about it and he agreed there is a problem with the Fridge, but never turned back. We called up the Customer care and got to know the part thats required to repair it is not available. We again call up for resolution and get an email that a return authorization will be sent to the store we bought it from. we reply to that email with the store address the same day, August 18. And till date the store has not got any email. i again called up your customer care and after 30 mins hold could finally speak to someone to know that the return authorization was sent to another store. why? Check your CANADA.BO mail box, when we had given the complete details about the store why did it go to another store email id. Pathetic! Why are we penalized? We need to call you customer care, we need to call your repair guys, we need to follow up with store to see if they got the authorization. All this because we bought your fridge?And on the top of it, the customer care agent that I talked to today, August 23rd, 10.30 should be fired if you want to retain customer satisfaction. She was least interested to hear to my issues and went on mute while I was talking and came back after 5 mins with uninterested 'Yesss Mammm". Let me know who are going to pay for my financial losses on not able to rent my property

Purchased this product January 2020, January 2022 ice maker quit pulled out the bin augur was frozen over. called tech replaced Stepper Valve? now 3 months ago chirping beeping noise and my freezer is not working at all and still no ice. This is my 2nd Gallery In 2016 I bought whole kitchen suite of gallery. That refrigerator went out after 1.5 yrs. this is not a good model for Frigidaire. The repair man came out today says will get warranty replacement for the Stepper valve. But not confident this will solve the problem, he was saying shouldn't go out maybe pressure in line?
Desired outcome: I would like Frigidaire to replace the unit with a new one. There is no reason for these to fail. I don't believe they are doing any research on why the products are failing consumers. I see similar issues on many forums

I purchased the refrigerator on 7/28/2021.On 7/8/2022 we came home from vacation to find that the motor isn't running and it's starting to get warm. Monday we call and get an appointment for Thursday with Whiteman Appliance. They come with no tools just a small screwdriver and pushed up a hole and said that the defroster timer needed reset but no diagnostic as to why but the motor did come on. It worked for a week we then went away for a few days and came home the freezer was frozen and the refrigerator was 55 degrees . We call Monday and get an appointment for Friday. Wednesday Whiteman Appliances calls and said they canceled the appointment as the fixed the problem because it worked for a week and they wont come to fix it without a special ticket. I get the ticket but have to wait another week. The next week they call and cancel again as they are all sick. At this point I had enough and called a local repairman who came the next day with tools. Found that the defroster switch Whiteman reset was defective so all that did was let the refrigerator come on till it froze up. Not to mention the lost food and inconvenience of living out of a cooler for a month I feel I should be able to submit the bill once the part comes in and it's completely fixed. I would also suggest you reconsider your relationship with Whiteman Appliance as they are destroying your reputation. Thank you

During July-August 2022 we noticed water leaking in our cellar by sink/dishwasher drain. We found drain not plugged found what appeared to be a leak in discharge hose (coupling was cracked). New hose arrived still leaking.
Upon further investigation there was a hole in the plastic tub. The element was warped down on 2 corners causing the plastic to burn through.
Desired outcome: They need to investigate this could have burned our home down

I purchased this from Lowes on 11/17/2019. The "element on" flashes after the left element is turned on then turned off. Is this a fire hazard. Why should I pay a tech $500-800 to repair a defective range that was sold this way. This has been happening for about 6 months. I contacted Frigidaire and their only solution was to have me pay for the repair. The Frigidaire did not provide any recall or safety information even though I asked this information twice. Frigidaire refrigerator water filter
I ordered a water filter online on July 20, 2022. It arrived a few days later as an Electrolux filter. After running several gallons of water, the water had a chemical taste, not pure, it is a defective filter. I contacted a customer service person and explained my problem. After holding on for a very long time, I spoke to someone and they shipped me another Electrolux filter. After filtering several gallons of water again, the second filter is also defected. Now before I can get my money refunded to me I have to return both filters to you. Fine, but why do I have to pay the shiping fees. I cannot afford to buy another filter until I get a refund from the purchase of your defective filters. I order through you because I pay less then if I purchase a filter from Lowes or Home Depot. Now I have to buy bottled water which is another expense. Not fair, I have enough life problems to have to deal with on an ongoing basic and having to deal with this situation that is not my fault. My top shelf inside refrigerator and two bin draws are are broken. The plastic is so fragile. Not meant to with stand normal use. I called for replacement parts, i was quoted well over a five hundred dollars. I have never bought anything but fridgidare appliances. I will never again after this phone call. Replacement of AC Unit
I bought a portable 14,000 btu Frigidaire AC unit for my trailer July 6, 2022. After setting for 24 hours, I plugged it in and it worked great considering it was about 110 degree in Tucson. The next day I traveled about 70 miles and sit up camp. When I plugged it in to cool the trailer all it would do is pump out very hot air. I let it sit for 3 hours and tried it again, nothing but hot air. Not camping out tonight.
The next day after cleaning thing up from our ride. I got back in the trailer and turned the AC unit on and guess what? It kicked out cold air. Two times since I got back from that night out it kicked out hot air but after unplugging and then plugging it back in it works just fine.
In the meantime, I contacted Wayfair about the problem they told me to contact Frigidaire. Started a trouble call with Frigidaire owned by Electrolux on July 12, 2022. The first customer care rep told me they will replace my current AC unit. COOL!
I asked her what I was supposed to do with the AC unit I have? She said, “trash it”. Three days later I got an email from an automated unit telling me that the replacement would be quicker if I returned my unit first. DUH?
I waited three days and called Frigidaire again.
I told this customer care rep the story up to this point and she said I would have to return it when the AC store brings me a new unit and installs the new one they would take the old unit.?
All their messages said I needed to wait 7 to 10 working days before anything would happen. SO, on August 1st, 15 working days later, I called again.
This customer care rep said, “You need to take it back to the store you bought it from and exchange it with them.”
WAYFAIR. I need a box and associated packing material.

I purchased this dishwasher on April 13, 2022 and it was delivered on April 22, 2022. I have been in touch with Frigidaire numerous times (I have kept a detailed log) and have had a repairman, of their choosing, here three times. The dishwasher has never worked and, for some reason, nobody seems competent to diagnose the problem. Frigidaire has sent the wrong parts two times...the first box had parts for a refrigerator and dryer...nothing for my dishwasher. The second delivery was a bracket (?). The second repairman told me he thought the unit had been dropped as there were loose parts rattling around. On at least two separate occasions, the correct parts were ordered but not delivered. Enough is enough. The customer service reps are friendly but entirely useless.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund or a new dishwasher.
Ice maker recall
On 6/16/2022 I received a recall notice for the Ice Maker in our Frigidaire Professional refrigerator.
On 6/16/2022 pm submitted order for replacement part that would take approximately 2-4 weeks.
On 7/13/2022 received an email stating replacement ice maker had shipped. I then had to schedule the service appointment on-line for 7/19/2022 for 8:00am-12:00pm time slot.
On 7/19/2022 waited, waited, waited, waited! At 11:45am started calling the service phone number.
At 1:45pm received an automated call stating the service technician would arrive in approximately 45 minutes.
When the service tech arrived, he was very "cold and acted very flustered" that I was not told to empty the freezer drawer. I told him, if I knew it was the ice maker in the LOWER drawer, I WOULD HAVE EMPTIED IT!
I hurriedly grabbed a cardboard box and emptied the freezer drawer!
The service tech. asked for the replacement part and took the freezer drawer apart. Within 30 minutes (+-) he was done.
Several days later, I noticed a thunking noise when I went to close the freezer drawer. I bent down and noticed that the ice maker was hanging down and hitting on the inside top drawer in the freezer compartment.
I told my husband that we will not be using the freezer drawer until I can get a service rep to fix the problem. Of course, this happens on a Friday after 5pm and Frigidaire service phone number is no good!
On 8/1/2022 8:04am, I started calling the service number - was on hold for 24 minutes. I then called again - on hold for 28 minutes!
I decided to try my luck on-line and "Chat" with a service rep.- stupid me!
That was an HOUR !
I was told that " There is no substantial resolution that they were able to provide and to call the Frigidaire service center.
On 8/1/2022 at 10:25 am I Googled Frigidaire Certified Service and went on their website to book a service appointment.
I HAD TO PRE-PAY for the service appointment - $99.50!

I made a mistake in buying a new Frigidaire refrigerator. It was a piece of junk made in Mexico. I'm sure some from there are good, but it is obvious that they have no quality control. My refrigerator had a high side leak from the condensing coil to the metering device. Never did work well and died the 3th of July. It was the 5th before I could get anything started.
I called " customer service" which is in the Philippines . Only problem is some of their " service reps" had chickens and rosters making a hell of a lot noise and made it impossible to understand them. They had no way to transfer the call to the US.
I kept getting " GOMO". " We are trying to find someone to service in your area". This did not things better. Finally, after a MONTH, they got a tech guy to fix it.
I have a freezer, another fridge by these idiots and will not buy anything else again.
I lost over $350 in kosher meat and condiments.
Desired outcome: Since it took so long to get " service" and it was a piece of junk in the first place, I want the one year warranty to start the 27th of July, 2022.

I purchased an new in box Frigidaire side by side refrigerator on April 7 2022 from American Freight in North Charleston, SC. I waited to install it until renovations were completed on my kitchen on May 15. The refrigerator ran fine for 3 weeks and quit cooling on both the freezer side and the refrigerator side. I called American Freight and they told me to put in a service ticket with Frigidaire, which I did immediately. Frigidaire sent a repairman on June 14th who stated that the compressor was bad but that he had to call Frigidaires service department and discuss it with them. He called me back and said that they were ordering a main board and an inverter for it. I called Corbetts weekly to find out the status of the parts and they said that they couldn't get one of the parts. I called Frigidaire back and requested they replace the refrigerator. This basically constitutes replacing everything but the casing of the refrigerator. I told him just to have them replace it, that I was not going to sit waiting for parts they may or may not have to throw at it in hopes that it will work. I didn't hear back from them at all with the exception of the email of his service receipt. I called them again today and they said again that they would not replace it.

I am a general contractor who builds 10+ homes a year. I purchased an extended warranty with Frigidaire for a dishwasher. We could never get the dishwasher to work brand new out the box. I called Frigidaire on July 3rd in request for a new unit as it was not working and had never even been used. They informed me that they cannot issue a new unit yet as they would have to go through a process of getting a repair tech on site. Of course we can only use who they are contracted with which are all 0 star company reviews and I could not even get them on the phone. The first repair contractors could not get out for a week and never showed. I made another call back and they scheduled with another company. This repair company could not get out for an addition week. (7/6/22) Once repair company showed he informed me the door lock system had an issue which he repaired onsite, he adjusted something on the mother board also. He then said we will have to order a part that he told me could be 1 week to 2 months. He also warned me about dealing with Frigidaire customer service and products and I now see why. (7/7/22) I called Frigidaire after the repair appointment to relay what the tech said on eta for the part. I spoke to a supervisor who ensured me that it was in stock and to wait yet another week for it to come in. They said it will be in within 7-10 business days and to call back for replacement unit request if not. (this documentation was no where to be found now on their end). It was day 9 (7/21/22) and still not part so I called yet again to speak to a supervisor who told me they could not pull up any tracking on the part and to reach out to the tech company. More run around. (7/21/22) I then called tech company and they informed me they cannot pull anything but the order number but Frigidaire should be able to track it. I called Frigidaire back yet again and they said the same exact thing - they could not find a tracking number but should be there by tomorrow end of business day and if not to call back tomorrow. (7/22/22) I called today as we still have not received the part. After the run around again and dealing with a cycle of being on hold for an hour and then disconnected I was able to get to a supervisor (reminder that each of these calls take about and hour to get through). On this call, now they magically were able to find a tracking number and confirm that the part was delivered yesterday and they will not replace the unit but rather wait and order a new part again! It has been a different story every single time I have called and no resolution. After all the people I have had to deal with on the phone I did not keep have names as I was expecting for it to be resolved on the first call and not have to be continuously calling. (7/22/22) The last call I spoke with a supervisor, Amber, and she was clueless about any previous conversation, that should have been documented in the notes, where I was told to call back after the 10 days and would be issued a new unit as it has now been three weeks. She stated that the unit does not fall under replacement unless there are three issues with it or not repairable. I mentioned the two repairs the tech did on site plus waiting on the part which would have made three?! She stated oh no it would have to be on three separate work orders these are all on one work order so it doesn't qualify. So I basically should have had him not repair them at the same time but to have him come out three different times to qualify getting a replacement unit. Every call has been a lie and run around with no solution with Frigidaire. I am now having to wait for ANOTHER part to ship out and then wait for the tech to come out to repair it. If that part does not solve the problem with the unit I am back to square one "that's all they can do." The client is already furious that a brand new dishwasher is already having several problem and does not even want it. I will for sure spread the word on the lack of customer service and organization within this company and will take the advise of the repair company to never deal with Frigidaire again if this does not get resolved. It has already been three weeks, we will have to wait for another part again and then wait again until the tech company can get out to try and repair. This could be an additional 3 more entire weeks to even possibly have a functioning dishwasher.
Desired outcome: Would either like a new unit or refund at this point. This issue has taken way too long to resolve and SEVERAL hours out of my work day for the last 3 weeks.
Terrible customer service and lie all the time, we have been dealing with them for the last 7 months, nothing resolved. Every time a new story, every time no records, few technicians came and sent the requests for replacement of our stove, but for some reason every time we proceed we are declined. Wasted hundred of hours already. Was so polite and patient with them, but after 7 months of the repeated cycle the put us through it just got us. We are fed up.

End of June,2022 the refrigerator started showing high temp light. Ice maker also not working. Took 3 weeks to get someone here to fix. They were supposed to come with correct part to fix but did not. Need to wait again for someone to come back to fix. Lost a ton of groceries. This fridge only 10 months old. Will be at least 6 weeks with no refrigerator and no compensation for loss of food or urgency to fix. Customer service not helpful. Could not get me in touch with a supervisor, kept saying they were in a meeting. Could not provide an email address for me to contact someone, only a PO Box address. This is unexceptable for such a large purchase. Would like it fixed and some compensation.
Desired outcome: Fixed asap and compensation for loss of food and time dealing with this. Over and over needed to call customer service. Or a new one.
Room air conditioner FFTA1422U2
I purchased a room air conditioner from Amazon on 6/30/2019. It has run well previously, however it no longer cools and blows only hot air. I contacted your customer service department and filed a claim [protected]. Initially I was told a technician would be sent out to repair it. Then, I was told by several reps to expect my replacement unit to be shipped in 7-10 days. I was asked to submit the same documentation three separate times, to two different email addresses.
I received a denial of my claim because the Amazon purchase was shipped by a third-party seller, Sole Proprietors. Frigidaire claims the five year warranty received with the new unit I purchased is not valid because they are not an authorized dealer. Nowhere in you warranty is there an exclusion based on seller status. I contacted your reps again and was told by Sarah on 7/18/22 at 5:35 pm that "it does not make a difference who the seller was because you are under warranty". That was the end of my respectful contact with your customer service team.
I am at the end of my patience, in 94 degree heat with no air conditioner.
All warranties come with an implied warranty of fitness. I am aware that the cost of the warranty is build into the item price. I submitted my appliance registration at time of purchase which was not returned advising the warranty would be deemed invalid. I have been strung along for weeks with conflicting information and promises for assistance. Numerous times I have been disconnected and was told once "don't call us, you will be contacted".
I would prefer to avoid filing with small claims court. This is my final attempt to resolve this matter. I have a sales receipt from Amazon dated 6/30/2019 with no "AS IS" attached to it. This was a new appliance and has two years remaining on the manfacturer warranty. If you are not going to honor warranties, do not ship your appliances with unauthorized sellers! At the least, notify and advise customers they are purchasing without any warranty recourse.
