Frigidaire Dishwasher

I am a general contractor who builds 10+ homes a year. I purchased an extended warranty with Frigidaire for a dishwasher. We could never get the dishwasher to work brand new out the box. I called Frigidaire on July 3rd in request for a new unit as it was not working and had never even been used. They informed me that they cannot issue a new unit yet as they would have to go through a process of getting a repair tech on site. Of course we can only use who they are contracted with which are all 0 star company reviews and I could not even get them on the phone. The first repair contractors could not get out for a week and never showed. I made another call back and they scheduled with another company. This repair company could not get out for an addition week. (7/6/22) Once repair company showed he informed me the door lock system had an issue which he repaired onsite, he adjusted something on the mother board also. He then said we will have to order a part that he told me could be 1 week to 2 months. He also warned me about dealing with Frigidaire customer service and products and I now see why. (7/7/22) I called Frigidaire after the repair appointment to relay what the tech said on eta for the part. I spoke to a supervisor who ensured me that it was in stock and to wait yet another week for it to come in. They said it will be in within 7-10 business days and to call back for replacement unit request if not. (this documentation was no where to be found now on their end). It was day 9 (7/21/22) and still not part so I called yet again to speak to a supervisor who told me they could not pull up any tracking on the part and to reach out to the tech company. More run around. (7/21/22) I then called tech company and they informed me they cannot pull anything but the order number but Frigidaire should be able to track it. I called Frigidaire back yet again and they said the same exact thing - they could not find a tracking number but should be there by tomorrow end of business day and if not to call back tomorrow. (7/22/22) I called today as we still have not received the part. After the run around again and dealing with a cycle of being on hold for an hour and then disconnected I was able to get to a supervisor (reminder that each of these calls take about and hour to get through). On this call, now they magically were able to find a tracking number and confirm that the part was delivered yesterday and they will not replace the unit but rather wait and order a new part again! It has been a different story every single time I have called and no resolution. After all the people I have had to deal with on the phone I did not keep have names as I was expecting for it to be resolved on the first call and not have to be continuously calling. (7/22/22) The last call I spoke with a supervisor, Amber, and she was clueless about any previous conversation, that should have been documented in the notes, where I was told to call back after the 10 days and would be issued a new unit as it has now been three weeks. She stated that the unit does not fall under replacement unless there are three issues with it or not repairable. I mentioned the two repairs the tech did on site plus waiting on the part which would have made three?! She stated oh no it would have to be on three separate work orders these are all on one work order so it doesn't qualify. So I basically should have had him not repair them at the same time but to have him come out three different times to qualify getting a replacement unit. Every call has been a lie and run around with no solution with Frigidaire. I am now having to wait for ANOTHER part to ship out and then wait for the tech to come out to repair it. If that part does not solve the problem with the unit I am back to square one "that's all they can do." The client is already furious that a brand new dishwasher is already having several problem and does not even want it. I will for sure spread the word on the lack of customer service and organization within this company and will take the advise of the repair company to never deal with Frigidaire again if this does not get resolved. It has already been three weeks, we will have to wait for another part again and then wait again until the tech company can get out to try and repair. This could be an additional 3 more entire weeks to even possibly have a functioning dishwasher.

Desired outcome: Would either like a new unit or refund at this point. This issue has taken way too long to resolve and SEVERAL hours out of my work day for the last 3 weeks.

Terrible customer service and lie all the time, we have been dealing with them for the last 7 months, nothing resolved. Every time a new story, every time no records, few technicians came and sent the requests for replacement of our stove, but for some reason every time we proceed we are declined. Wasted hundred of hours already. Was so polite and patient with them, but after 7 months of the repeated cycle the put us through it just got us. We are fed up.

Frigidaire frigidaire side by side refrigerator

End of June,2022 the refrigerator started showing high temp light. Ice maker also not working. Took 3 weeks to get someone here to fix. They were supposed to come with correct part to fix but did not. Need to wait again for someone to come back to fix. Lost a ton of groceries. This fridge only 10 months old. Will be at least 6 weeks with no refrigerator and no compensation for loss of food or urgency to fix. Customer service not helpful. Could not get me in touch with a supervisor, kept saying they were in a meeting. Could not provide an email address for me to contact someone, only a PO Box address. This is unexceptable for such a large purchase. Would like it fixed and some compensation.

Desired outcome: Fixed asap and compensation for loss of food and time dealing with this. Over and over needed to call customer service. Or a new one.

Frigidaire Room air conditioner FFTA1422U2

I purchased a room air conditioner from Amazon on 6/30/2019. It has run well previously, however it no longer cools and blows only hot air. I contacted your customer service department and filed a claim [protected]. Initially I was told a technician would be sent out to repair it. Then, I was told by several reps to expect my replacement unit to be shipped in 7-10 days. I was asked to submit the same documentation three separate times, to two different email addresses.

I received a denial of my claim because the Amazon purchase was shipped by a third-party seller, Sole Proprietors. Frigidaire claims the five year warranty received with the new unit I purchased is not valid because they are not an authorized dealer. Nowhere in you warranty is there an exclusion based on seller status. I contacted your reps again and was told by Sarah on 7/18/22 at 5:35 pm that "it does not make a difference who the seller was because you are under warranty". That was the end of my respectful contact with your customer service team.

I am at the end of my patience, in 94 degree heat with no air conditioner.

All warranties come with an implied warranty of fitness. I am aware that the cost of the warranty is build into the item price. I submitted my appliance registration at time of purchase which was not returned advising the warranty would be deemed invalid. I have been strung along for weeks with conflicting information and promises for assistance. Numerous times I have been disconnected and was told once "don't call us, you will be contacted".

I would prefer to avoid filing with small claims court. This is my final attempt to resolve this matter. I have a sales receipt from Amazon dated 6/30/2019 with no "AS IS" attached to it. This was a new appliance and has two years remaining on the manfacturer warranty. If you are not going to honor warranties, do not ship your appliances with unauthorized sellers! At the least, notify and advise customers they are purchasing without any warranty recourse.

Frigidaire Frigidaire 5 year sealed system warranty for compressor purchased

Purchased a frigidaire gallery refrigerator model # fg4h2272uf, on 2/28/2020, the inside drawers were defective, frigidaire replaces the unit around october 2020. Now that unit the compressor is faulty, extremely hot and can cause a fire, according to the technician. Frigidaire customer service is not standing behind there 5 year sealed system warranty, which is on the website and our store and technician told us about. Other brands have a 7 to 10 year warranty on there compressor. We have been without a refrigerator for over two weeks .

Desired outcome: PLEASE REFUND PURCHASE PRICE OF $2,200.00, SINCE WE WERE FORCED TO PURCHASE A NEW REFRIGERATOR.

Frigidaire Freezer and customer service

Good Afternoon,

I have reached out to customer support at least 3 times regarding a defective freezer (known issue) I purchased. The first time a tech was dispatched he diagnosed the problem. Didn’t hear anything after! Called customer support again and was told the part is on back order and have no idea when it will be in stock. We called a third time and was told you would expedite my claim to management to replace the unit and was guaranteed an answer within 10 business day via email. Haven’t heard anything since! Literally had the freezer for less than a month and it stopped working. It has now been sitting in my basement for over 2 months as a piece of scrap.

Frigidaire is running a scam operation. With false promises of resolving the issue within a certain amount of days and refuse to honor their one year factory warranty from the time of purchase. Frigidaire has left us no choice but to contact the Federal Trade Commissionand our State of New Jersey. Office of the Attorney General.

Desired outcome: Fix or replace the unit as soon as possible.

Frigidaire De-humidifier replacement: reference # [protected]

To whom it may concern:

What is the status of my replacement? I have been waiting since May 9, 2022 for this replacement. I have also submitted all paperwork "Thrice" and have spoken to 5 different Reps with the last one explaining in writing that I had purchased a unit, it went bad, then Lowes Replaced it, and that went bad. The paperwork I submitted was a canceled receipt since Lowes replace the item without cost. That's how they do the paperwork.

My claim was supposed to be elevated, but that was a month ago. Just called this morning again and was told they will forward my info to the Replacement Dept. What? that's where I've been sending all since May!

Talk about a RUNAROUND, HOW SAD!

Please see attached documents (Claim Form, Lowes Receipt).

The photo and receipt reflect the unit that was replaced by Lowes after my original crapped out after 1 year with same EC issue!

Due to the fact that this product was defect-ridden from the start and that it was discontinued for such, I see no reason to not be granted a replacement and and/or credit for my inconvenience and fire hazard, that which I was unaware of. Yikes. I have always depended on your products and have several. I hope that trust will not be abandoned in this situation.

Frigidaire All there products

I worked for frigidaire they only care about the sales any service that needs to he done that is a lost to them. Frigidaire also blames there appliance break downs on there service contractors. Which then they bark at you in service schools how loyal the servicer needs to be towards frigidaire but frigidaire has no loyalty for there contractors instead of correcting a problem with the contractors they just fire them and replace them with a contractor that has none or very little experience on frigidaire products

I just purchased a Frigidaire side by side refrigerator. There is a strong odor of acetone coming from the frig that permeates everything that is placed in the frig. The odor is so bad that you can easily smell it in the living room. Complaints to the store where I purchased the appliance and to Frigidaire have elicited smart [censored] comments ( eg "did the repairman use a professional sniffer?") I have also been told it would take possibly 6 months to have a repairman check the appliance out. Would you want to have a refrigerator out of service for 6 months? Would you like all your food to smell like acetone?

Frigidaire Electric stove

New electric stove not working. Ask for help for repair request. Contacted multiple time no help at all. After conversation call center rep does not end phone so customer can not leave feedback. Instead call center rep transferred me to other century directory. Imagine you are without stove without cooking food for more than 1 week and still don't know how long does it take for repair.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator on 11/16/2021. Hadn't had it for 6 months before it started having issues. It would heat up and defrost the food on the freezer side as well as the refrigerator getting warm, also making a huge noise off and on. I called customer service and was told there was an ice maker recall so they would send me the ice maker and then I should schedule to have it replaced. 4 weeks later I finally received my ice maker replacement. I knew the issue of it heating up and then freezing the items in my refrigerator and was not related to the ice maker so I went ahead and called them back to send a service person. The service was scheduled out three weeks. Ugh! Loud refrigerator and I couldn't keep my food in the freezer because it would defrost for no reason. So I waited the three weeks and the repairman came and fixed the issue on July 6th, 2022 and installed the new ice maker. Woke up the next morning to water everywhere in my kitchen floor. Now the ice maker is leaking a lot of water out the door, No ice had been made, Called Frigidaire back and they said they couldn't get anyone out for a week, July 15th, 2022. All I want is my money back so I can get a decent refrigerator. They say they can't do that? When does the consumer have rights in these types situations? Frigidaire is junk and their customer service stinks as well. I will never buy another product from them again. Who can go for weeks with a crappy refrigerator that may or may not work?

Desired outcome: I just want a refund or a return authorization form so I can get a new refrigerator.

Frigidaire Brand new fridge not working, taking over a month to fix

We moved into a brand new house and that came with a Frigidaire refrigerator. Upon moving in we noticed the fridge was not dispensing water, was not making ice, and we could not remove the water filter.

We called figidaire customer support and spoke to someone who’s was barely helpful and insisted it was the way the fridge was installed that was the issue. Finally we convinced her that a tech is needed to review the issue. It then took 2 days to schedule a service visit, and then another 5 days for the tech to make it out. By this point, I already knew what the issue was, everything in our fridge was FROZEN even though we had the fridge set to 43f. So of course that froze the water lines inside the fridge.

Then the tech came and of course there was an issue with the board on the fridge and he said they cannot get the parts for at least 2 weeks.

So we are stuck with a broken fridge that is using sooo much electricity for 3 weeks and we cannot use any water or ice. Frigidaire support is lackluster, and the fact that a brand new fridge like this is damaged and they don’t care to fix it quickly is ridiculous.

On top of all of this, think of all the other possible components this could’ve damaged and the tech said Frigidaire would NEVER replace a fridge, just swap components, 1 month at time haha.

Never buying Frigidaire appliances again

Frigidaire Dishwasher

I bought a Frigidaire Dishwasher back in November of 2021. Our house was being renovated and we finally moved in May of 2022. We actually used our dishwasher one time! The dishwasher has not worked since. The service people were here a few times and still not working. We just had had an appointment two weeks ago for service and no one showed up not even a phone call. This past Friday another service person was to be here in the AM and canceled. I called Frigidaire help line again and we’re rude and no help what so ever! Now I just want them to take their dishwasher out of my house! I have bought this dishwasher in good faith with warranty and and nothing has been done to resolve this problem. From what I can tell Frigidaire does not stand behind their product. Their warranty means nothing!

Desired outcome: I want this machine taken out of my house reimbursed !

Frigidaire Refrigerator freezer frss26a, side by side

We purchased this from A J Madison to replace a similar model purchased in 1996 that served us well. The new one, which appears almost identical, arrived and we were disappointed for the following reasons:

It is advertised as Stainless Steel, like our old one BUT it is not stainless steel, it is stainless steel “Finish”, steel with a flash chrome brushed appearance. It came with six mounts for shelves but only 5 shelves, two of which are drawers. it lacks any meat deli drawer, which we bought elsewhere. The light is very unappealing as it only illuminates the top shelf while to old on was mounted in the back so we could clearly see all the shelves/drawers. This unit is 1/2 cubic feet smaller, and it is very noticeable when storing bottles. The old one had a can dispenser for soft drinks - not this one! The old one had a removable drip tray under the door ice and water dispensers that could be cleaned. Not this one! The new one has four freezer shelf/drawer but only 1 drawer and 2 shelves. The old one had two drawers and three shelves and the back mounted light, this one is dark. In our opinion this is vastly inferior to what we purchased years ago and is markedly of less quality and utility. Before you buy online be sure to go and see the product locally!

Desired outcome: How about a meat/deli drawer even as an option? We would purchase this.

Frigidaire Electric Stove

Within 6 months of purchase after using the cleaning mode, the oven would not work. Covered by warranty, so replacement included 4 burners on top which the technician noticed showed signs of going so he replaced those, and the thermostat in oven. The thermostat went again 3 more times. My contact with the customer service department of Frigidaire was horrible. CS was provided by staff in the Phillipines where a language barrier was evident by wrong information recorded and shared back with me after the call. I contacted the North Carolina number for Electrolux and asked for a US customer service representative, he said absolutely and I ended back in Philippines!

I am now stuck with an oven that doesn't work. They gave me 40% off the purchase of a new Frigidaire stove. I said to the CS representative, "Really? Do you think I would purchase another stove from this company?"

Don't buy Frigidaire...such a sorry state of affairs when you pay $1000 for a new stove that doesn't work in 18 months.

Desired outcome: Full refund on the stove without requirement to purchase same brand.

Frigidaire Refrigerator

I purchased a refrigerator in October 2021 in November 2021 I started having problems with the ice maker. A technician was sent out and the technician the back wall was iced and he ask to remove everything from the freezer he let the back freezer unthaw and he said the water that goes into the ice maker was going all over the place causing a wall which means the water wasn’t reaching the maker. He then proceeded to put foil around the water carrier. That worked for about two weeks and I had to call Fridgedaire again. Again they sent a technician out and this time he ordered an icemaker which took about a week and a half to arrive. When he finally came after a week and a half he installed it a month later I got an indicator came on the refrigerator high temperature. I called Fridgedaire again they sent out another technician technician . The technician could not figure out what the issue was. So what he did decide to tell me is if there’s anything in front of the vent which I was not it stops the flow but he could not figure out why we had a hi temperature indicator Come on. Now today I called Fridgedaire because for the past week or icemaker is not producing ice again. Candy the supervisor information told me that I need to order another icemaker I told Candy we’ve been through this already I don’t understand why can’t they replaced my fridge raider this is a major Purchase an appliance we’ve had nothing but trouble with this fridge raider from the first month I purchased it and nobody has been able to replace it or fix it I’ve had three Fridgedaire’s and this is the only one I had issues with

Frigidaire Placed a warranty claim with Frigidaire and received confirmation of claim. But no follow up.

Placed a warranty claim with Frigidaire and received an email notice of receipt of the claim. Then nothing. Had to call back again and resubmit. Still nothing. Tried contacting email of individual that helped after first submission - no response. There appears to be no way of following up on this than to restart the process each time. Frustrating and time consuming.

This is for a dehumidifier that stopped working properly after about 1 1/2 years and has a 2 year warranty.

Desired outcome: I want them to honor the warranty of either a repair of the product or replacement.

Frigidaire Room air conditioner

Purchased a/c from Amazon 8/16/2021 and registered the product registration. I initially had problem with fan stopped running. Did troubleshoot which worked. Summer came to end and against my better judgement I kept it for this season. Fan stopped twice in 2 days, evening of 2nd day fan would not run at all. I contacted customer service on 5/16 and they sent me instructions which I followed. Received an email 5/23 that my documents were clear enough. I resent my email the same day. I have been calling each week for update and C.S. On 6/14/22 I called again and Meryl assured me that she will make my case a priority.

Called for update on 6/23 and am now told it's in corporates hands.

I am a senior citizen living in a 2nd floor apt that has no shade. I have health issues and it is getting hotter.

Please will someone contact me regarding my complaint

Frigidaire side by side frig with icemaker

I bought a Frigidaire side by side Nov 2020. In August 2021 where the ice comes out of the frig, the covering fell off. I am a single person who hardly uses this feature. Called for service at Frigidaire because its was still under warranty, he came, he fixed it. But it did not look fixed right. I should have called and complained and I didn't. I just decided to not use the outside to get ice... fast forward May 2022. it is out of warranty and there is water dripping from this opening. Of course when I call its going to cost me. Even though I feel like it wasn't fixed correctly the first time. Called someone else to look at it. They told me it was a factory default and I needed to contact the company. They don't want to fix it. They showed me where there is a gap in the seal and other things I didn't notice. These are pictures of the repair work that was done on the seal.

Desired outcome: I want to side door that the ice maker is on replaced for free. Or at the very least give me the door and I will pay someone who wants to replace it. I don't have a lot of confidence in your service department.

Frigidaire 2 year old frigidaire professional full fridge needs $1700 in repairs.

There is no excuse for a product to last 2 years only. We paid $1700 for the fridge and now it's going to be $[protected] to repair it! It's also already discontinued, so can not get a new one. Repair man the minute he saw the fridge just shook his head and said "oh no". He has been repairing this fridge all over town. He also said that the company doesn't care and will not do anything about it. It started freezing foods, then the temp would go too high and cause it to alert, then it would seem like it cool, but the temp was 57, then it would go back to 38 degrees and the food would be warm. Can't fix it with anything but original parts, so I guess I'll have to pay $1700/2 yrs? It's built in with the full freezer, so unless I buy two whole new units (not fridgidaire, thank you) I'm stuck.

Desired outcome: Stand by your product and pay for this repair!! You know it's a bad product, or bad parts, Maybe a recall should be put out, and replace the fridge with your newer model, that is, if that is any good....

Frigidaire Frigidaire induction stove burner

We purchased our home through Angle Builders located in Kingman, AZ. Per Angle Builders, we ordered a Frigidaire stove, Whirlpool microwave and a Bosch dishwasher from Attwoods Appliances located at 2389 Airway Ave, Kingman, AZ. The phone number is [protected]. We also ordered a Whirlpool refrigerator and GE washer and dryer.

On March 10, 2021, we had all the appliances installed in our new home.

At the time of purchasing these appliances, we were NEVER told that the stove was a 2018 model. After talking to a representative of Frigidaire in April 2022, we were then informed of that fact. If we were told that the stove was 3 years old, we would NEVER have purchased it. This was a well-kept secret.

In December 2021, the right front burner stopped working, Frigidaire was called out to fix it. The following appointments were set up:

January 13, 2022, between 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

February 7, 2022, between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

February 24, 2022, between 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

March 17, 2022, between 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

April 4, 2022, between 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

April 21, 2022, between 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

May 2, 2022, between 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

May 20, 2022, between 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

This is a total of 8 times, the stove has been serviced by Frigidaire, but all failed.

After the first service call, each serviceman ordered part(s) to fix the stove for the next appointment. The following parts were ordered:

1 - Element Assembly

1 - Generator Assembly Y, C

3 - Overlay, Control, Blac

4 - Controller, Elec

1 - Cooler Fan

This is a total of 10 parts, but again, all attempts to fix the problem failed.

We paid $1199.00 for this stove and want a stove that works. This stove does not work!

Frigidaire is telling us that the stove is out of warranty, but it was never fixed while in warranty.

Please help us get this issue resolved.

Frigidaire Frigidaire counter top french door refrigerator

Two year old refrigerator has broken hinge on top right door, seals ineffective, water filter won't come out for replacement, ice and water door function no longer working.

Repairman managed to secure door temporarily, cannot get the old water filter out to put new one in, so ice and water maker won't work any more.

There is water condensation and ice on back wall of fridge - just awful.
