I have just been to richards bay game in the inkwazi board walk. Specifically to go buy the nescafe coffee that is on special for 1 day only to be told they never received stock so what must they do ... if they didn't get stock they cant sell it. Surely this is misleading as it is advertised all over south africa .how do you propose to sort this Issue out?
Desired outcome: I would like tk buy the stock at thw advertised price of R69.99 for nescafe assorted coffees
Damaged fridge replacement
I bought a fridge at GAME online shopping and delivered damaged. I logged a query for about a month now and I have not received my replacement fridge and I paid the amount cash. I keep calling them every morning and they tell me my matter has been escalated and will give me an update which they never do. I am without a fridge that I bought a month ago now and get bad service from GAME. I am pretty sure to never shop at GAME online ever again!
Desired outcome: A full refund ASAP so I can buy a fridge somewhere else.
TV hisense 58 inch
Good day
On the 20 June 2022 13h14, I bought TV set 58 cm Hisense R7999.00 from GAME KING WILLIAM'S TOWN, they do their procedure to check the TV set is on and I saw it the TV set was on. The shop helper took the TV set to the car, then he asked whether they told me about the front or the back for loading purposes and I told him no then he loaded the TV set into the car.
On the 21st June when the TV set is taken out from the box for wall mounting, then we saw the TV set had crack (right hand side).
Immediately we took back to GAME SHOP and we explained and they dont want to listen and we requested a cctv camera/ footage to the Store Manager from 1st point to the last point so that we happy about their decision. Also I dont understand because this crack is in the right hand and the TV set is protected with white cushion.
The store manager denied to show us the footage. We ended up leaving the TV set in the shop and the till slip is with me. Also they say it my fault.

Faulty Asus Core I3 Laptop and 2 months downtime...
I bought a brand new Asus Intel Core I3 Laptop from Game Richards Bay on 15.03.2022 for R6999.
The laptop came with 7 days trial of Microsoft Office.
After the Office had expired, i installed Microsoft Office using my existing account.
After installation, the laptop then came on, the the screen would remain blank (left it for 10 minutes and there was no response).
So on the 18.04.2022, i took that laptop in to Game Richards Bay, they tested it and confirmed that the laptop was faulty and then sent it to Durban (Rectron) to be fixed.
After a month, i received a message that the laptop was ready to be picked up...
So i went in, and the report stated that there are alot of apps running in the background that causes the laptop to be slow...So they updated the Os and BIOS and sent it back. (i did not install any apps besides Microsoft Office)
When we switched it on, the laptop came on and worked, but it refused to shut down by clicking the windows icon and shutdown. The laptop could only be switched off by holding down the on/off switch.
So they called the repairer and booked in the laptop again.
Its now 2 months after the first book in... and i have not heard from them...
I have paid for a computer that i have not used... And the store refuses to refund or replace...
So don't buy anything from Game, unless you have a minimum of 2 months to wait if something goes wrong...
Rather buy from a company that has better after sales service or can check these issues in store...

Fraud at game store welkom
Fraud was committed inside game store Welkom, seemingly by game store employees.
My sister forgot her game store card after purchase, she left her store card at the cashier, later on she noticed a transaction on her card, 10 minutes after the store had closed, she had already left the store at 16h16+-, the card was used at around 17h40, the following day again around 1pm the card was used at the very same store, she alerted the store, she was informed that the card was indeed left at the store and it was handed over to the supervisor, so the question is, how is it that the card that was given to the supervisor was being used in the store.
There were so many misleading statement given, including that my sister should not open a case at SAPS as nothing will come out of the case, now she is required to pay for a gas heater she did not purchase and another item amount to about R450, The Management is sitting and hoping the matter goes away and no finality is forthcoming, it is now 4th week.
It looks like its not the first time these type of incident takes place, hence why an employee of your chain store can say "nothing will happen if the case is opened" , i guess i will also write to Ipid to force the police to do their job, i will be writing to consumer protection as well, i will not let go until the matter is resolved. I have already put it on Hello Peter, i will continue to post on any platform available.

I bought a phone at game kathu (samsung a03 core) at it is not working properly.
On Thursday 02nd June 2022, I bought a phone at Game Kathu Northern Province, SAMSUNG A03 Core, IMEI number [protected] for R1700. I work in Hotazel hance I bought the phone in Kathu for my daughter in Pretoria. My daughter started using the phone on Sunday 5th June after inserting a screen protector. My daughter then realized that the phone settings are not working. I was back in the Northern Cape by then. I asked my daughter to take the phone to GAME Menlyn since I left the slip at home, GAME Menlyn said they cannot fix the phone because a lot of people complained about having a problem from setting on that phone so they removed it off their shelf and now since they don't have it there there is nothing they can do to help my daughter. My problem is that I have taken this phone on credit at GAME and I must pay for something that is not working. I cannot do that!
Desired outcome: I want a working phone from GAME!
Service
I've had a problem with a bicycle I bought in the store, i had to return the bicycle after two days of purchase and then every 7-8 days i had to return the bike to be fixed. I explained to the manager in the bicycle section that I need the bicycle replaced with a new one because I cannot be coming to the store for the same thing over and over again.
I've always had great service in store and with my previous bikes I've never had this problem. Please attend to this as I have been patiently waiting for two weeks now again for communication and nothing has been done.

Cancellation of uber order
I placed an order for 2bags x 1.50kg 2 in 1 Cat Food + a nox of catfood in jelly, via Ubereats on 05 June 2022, at about 10:20
Whilst tracking the progress, and Uber advised that the order was cancelled.
I called the store, Westwood Game, and was advised that the order is still at the store. The lady then screamed for the supervisor, Razia, and then informed me that the Uber driver cancelled the order. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and the call was transferred, to ring unanswered for 5 minutes and then terminated on their side.
I call the store and asked to speak to the manager. The lady then advises me that they are out of stock. I, again, asked to speak to the Manager, call is transferred and rings unanswered, then is terminated.
I then called the Customer Care number, and am advised that they are not able to provide me with a contact number for the Manager.
This would explain the poor performance of Game as a company based on poor customer services, no manners, no respect, and no response.
Desired outcome: I want an explanation for this behaviour and conduct. If the company can't read my mind, then perhaps the company needs to revisit its policies and customer service.
My son bought an electric grass cutter on 01 March 2021 at game Phalaborwa which malfunctions in January 2022.
Before month end January he went to the shop to report and he was told to bring proof of purchase and the bar code on the box which he did. since that he is not getting a proper response. He was told to recall the person who assisted him on the day he went to the shop. I believe that they are playing games with him so that the warrantee can expire. please assist. Awaiting delivery of goods - Lack of Service
This is now beyond ridiculous, I placed my order on the 02nd May 2022, and when confirmed it was stated that the goods would be delivered by 09th May. When I checked to see where order was I found that it had FAILED. I enquired to be told 3 days later that the order was on its way and had included the Courier tracking slip which to my dismay stated deliver in Cape Town when I am actually in Johannesburg. Well, as you can imagine I did not receive my goods, I then kept tracking and to find that the goods would be delivered on the 14th - naturally, I have been waiting as I have nothing better to do and no delivery…. so I track again and the next tracking says delivery for today 16th and what can I say NO DELIVERY…
Not to mention that I don’t even get a response back from the service agent… who should in fact have followed up to ensure that parcel was delivered.
This order should now be levied a 100% discount, I am busy putting everything in storage and this has caused a major delay for me… this one of the most disgusting services I have come across in a long time.
Delivery eventually arrives on the 18th May, only to find that 3 of the items are broken, I immediately notify customer service and am told that I must take photo's of the damaged goods and send to them, I do so twice. I am then told that they have to get authorisation to collect the goods... days are ticking by - authorisation received 25th May. Now I need to advise physical address...hello where did you send the goods to before - nonetheless I give my address, again twice (please note here; they cannot deliver 3 new items and collect the damaged goods at the same time - so customer must just continuing waiting)... and waiting and I am still waiting to date 30th May for collection of the damaged goods and will have wait who knows how long for the delivery of my replacement goods.
IT IS JUST SHOCKING THAT RETAILERS CAN GET A WAY WITH THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I believe if retailers had to refund their customer's for their staff incompetency's there would never be customer satisfaction issues.
Desired outcome: I should be refunded my full amount for the sheer stress that I have been put under - especially after notifying all and sundry how urgent this was.

Place on-line order on the 07thMay 2022 and promised to get the order on the 13thMay 2022, nothing was delivered nor communicated. On the 23 I sent a what's app message and gt the following reference number 1340154 an a rude consult called me a said the product is out of stock , I told him that it's available it's even still on the advrt he dropped the phone on me. Today I went on line got that the product is still avail on Mall of the South, Mall of Africa and Bloemfontein mall I sent an what's app and there was no reply. I need those bottles ASAP.

I made an online purchase of a TV stand on the 25th of April 2022, order number: [protected]...the system reflected that I will get my product on the 2nd of May 2022 but I didn't get it on that day...I did countless follow ups after that but all I was told was "you will get your order tomorrow sir". It's been 30 days now and there's still no delivery attempt...I tried to cancel the order because I grew tired of waiting and still i couldn't be helped on that also...all I got was an email with a link of the website for the courier company in charge of my order and I've noticed that there hasn't been any movement or update on my product since the 7th of May 2022. I am really not happy with this it's infuriating really and what's worse is that all my efforts were useless hence no one could really help me they always told me the same thing. This is bad customer service.

I placed an order online on the 29th of April 2022 and payment was made the very same day. My order number is [protected]. When I put through my order Game had stock to take my money. To date 24th May 2022 I have not received my order, yet when I phone other branches or the call center and ask for them to check stock, they tell me that there is 39 in stock at the warehouse in Pinetown. Please follow up on my order. The online person in your gateway branch says that the head office is making them look bad. Is this true.
Game Online After Sales Service
I purchased a fridge from game Online on 20th March 2019, Order #[protected].
3 years later I want to submit a warranty claim. DEFY sent out a techie and confirmed the appliance is unrepairable, but still under warranty, a replacement is possible. I never received an invoice, and since they upgraded their online platform, I am unable to see any of my historic orders, even recent ones. I am thus unable to get an invoice for the fridge as well.
I have been trying for 2 weeks to get an invoice via the support desk, they are unable to help with no resolution in sight. No feedback, no effort to try and resolve. I phone literally every day, nada.
I am stuck with a broken fridge, and Game is unwilling to help.

For years now, its a problem with wanting to buy anything there, prices are always wromg or stock is not at their price tags or there is no prices at stock to be found, have to walk to the other end of the shop to scan for a price but the scanner hardly ever works, and if it doesn't work staff tells you to go stand in a que just to get a price in a item, wasting time because there is never more than 2 tills open out of the 15 tills in the shop so having to stand i a que for half a hour just to get a single price on a item,
Desired outcome: Correct prices to be put on all items being sold at the store, so it can make it more enjoyable to shop there

I put through an order on the 28th of April and payment was made the very same day. My order number is [protected]. The incredible thing is that when I put through my order Game had enough stock to take my money. I waited and got the first order on 03rd May 2022. I had been checking the status of the DSTV explora and it kept saying ORDER HAS BEEN CONFIRMED for the long time.
After multiple messages & emails on Game's live chat and not getting a response, I spoke to Sinovuyo on the 9th May 2022, she advised that the order was cancelled due to availability of stock. I am absolutely not impressed. After so many days, they finally decided to cancel my order because of the product being unavailable. Did Game not do stock taking and know they have no stock so they should not take my money. Now they are giving me excuses to refund my money. They have given me 3-5 days and 7 - 14 working days to refund. Mind you their staff must be well trained because they have lies coming out of their mouths and have answers for everything. I spoke to agents on their chat and their Facebook page and all I hear is lies after lies. I was advised the refund is with the finance department over a week ago. It is still there and some senior team is working on the refund. Now I work in the financial institution and I know how the banking systems work. It is impossible to process for so long. Are they still placing notice on an investment where all their victim's money are placed. They are not providing feedback, almost feels like I am borrowing money from Game but this is my money.
Game has been in possession of my money since 28th of April and they are acting like a shady uncle who borrows money and never returns it. I am tired of all the lies, I want what is owed to me. They are absolutely pathetic. I am never going to use their services again and will encourage others not to do it too.
Absolutely disgusted.

When you call the customer care line then you are told they will get back to you before the end of that day but, they never do! I think that there is something going on with this company as they do not care about taking your money and making you wait for the items you have paid for!What is going on here? Poor customer service
On 23 April 2022 I purchased a walking ring for my sister's child. The child is 7 months old and it states that the walking ring is suitable for 6 months and older. On Friday 29 April 2022 and incident occurred where as the baby got stuck in the walking ring and we were unable to remove him from the walking ring and had to cut the seat in order for us to remove him. On Monday 2 May 2022 we visited Paarl Branch to advise of the incident. When we came into the store to the customer service the consultant advised that she needs to inform the manager. The manager never came to assist and just gave a message that due to us cutting the walking ring we will not be refunded. We understood but requested to speak to the manager. So the manager, Rene Arendse came to us and without even greeting she just said that we will not refund you because the baby is too big (without even seeing the baby). My sister told her we understand that we will not be able to be refunded but she needs to bring this under the attention of the manufacturer and she said she also have a 2 year old child, whom she bought the exact walking ring for and nothing ever happened to her child, my sister's child is too big. So my sister told her it is not about her child or my sister's child but a next child might get seriously injured. And she said well her child is absolutely fine so there is nothing wrong with the walking ring. My sister then requested her for Head Office's number and she said that the consultant who assisted us (who in the meantime attended to a different customer) will provide us with Head Office's number and she turned around and left. We stood there for almost 10 minutes and I realized but this is unacceptable why could Rene, The Manger not give us the number and I went to the inside of the store to go look for her. When I went to go look for her she was busy discussing this incident with 2 more staff members and the TV appliances area. One of the staff members response to her was "Nou wat wil sy nou he moet jy nou vir hulle doen" in a very sarcastic manner. So I told Rene that I need the number of Head Office and she told me that she do not know the number of Head Office I should go wait till the consultant is done with the customers to give me the number. I asked her to please get the number from someone because I cannot wait any longer for a number that she can also give to me and she told me but there isn't anyone else who can provide me with the number. At just stage is was very angry to say the least and I asked her what type of manager she is who do not know the number of Head office and she said she just don't know the number and I told her so why can't she get me the number and she said because I need to wait at customer service for the number. I am sooooo dissapointed in the pathetic service received and is in the process of closing my game account as soon as possible.

I brought the skull candy earphones from Game in Richards Bay in February. It's May and the earphones are giving me a problem. I tried to return it but they said they don't do earphones returns, apparently i listen to high music regardless of the two year warranty the earphones possess
