We have been doing our investigation to get to the route cause of our sad and emotional incident. Herewith some brief explanation as to why we require your assistance/intervention:
Hubby has had the game account for over 7 years and this never happened. Hubby lost his card 2 years ago and no fraud happened on the account on the 29th december we made a new card at game store east rand mall
A game employee shared hubby's profile with the criminal syndicate
My Game credit card was cloned on the 10th January 2023 and stole R15 000 from the account (case has been reported to Game, they are busy with investigation)
How can someone use the account without having the card present or not knowing the pin or how can a cashier even process a sale without verifying the owner of the account?
My Hubby's Telkom number stopped working on the 9th January 2023, without any reason.
We then called Telkom call centre to find out what the issue is with the number, and all they could say is "the number is still active" but a sim swop was done.
Obviously, the sim swop was done so that hubby could not receive any SMS's that money is being stolen from his account.
We then went to East Rand Mall Telkom in Boksburg on Friday 20 January 2022 to investigate who did the sim swop on Hubby's behalf according to Telkom, no one can do a sim swop without a Valid ID card/book or fingerprint which leaves us no choice but to ask who the employee was that did a sim swop without the owner being present we were directed to East Gate Mall Telkom where they have indicated the employee who committed the identity theft was working we then went to east gate mall, and were told this specific employee was transferred to Chris Hani Mall Telkom in Vosloorus we did not go there as for individuals like us it is a very dangerous area to enter without police force
We would like to know how this could have happened that one employee can steal a customer identity and commit fraud on behalf of the customer
We have been advised to open a case at the police station, which we will still do during this week
Identity has been stolen and money
Question is, is this only a syndicate that commits these fraudulent activities?
How many more customers are at risk losing their identities and money because of dishonest employees?
Please advise how this will be resolved/attended to?
We would like to meet and be involved in how this will be resolved.
Desired outcome: my money back, and the employee taken to task that committed the identity theft and account fraud.
PLEASE! can u open Game Stores at Ficksburg around Free State, we have only Beares and Lewis Furniture's, there's lots of spaces around town. Please that's only my complain...
Game Stores have lots of things electric appliances, food and many more beautiful things.

I can't not believe I'm seeing this. Exactly same to happen to me on the 25 February 2023, I did not take notices of it when, my cell phone was giving problems. I only saw yesterday when I check my game statement that tthere was transactions made on my account on the 14 March 2023. I am in disbelieve how the person was able to make 2 transactions on my card. I will be able to understand 1 transaction then you will see that it's not the customer, then you block the card, but who did the store let the fraudster myake 2 transaction without seeing that it was not me. Also believe that it is an inside job, because they have all my details and my cellphone number, and they were able to block my simcard. If something things like this already happen, why did Game store / RCS not put stronger security in place.

Same thing see my complain. Bought once as a new customer within 2 week everything changed. I bought once directly from Game the same day I activated. This is straight forward inside job
