On oct 9th 2021 at around 730pm I stood in line for 20 minutes while a redhead employee stood at the front door talking to some friends. There was at least 3 other people behind me waiting to check out. The cashier named Patrick was at the front too. Once Patrick was ready to check me out he was rude. My daughter was playing with a Halloween rat that was on the front desk and he took it from her and said" don't touch that!" I said "What did you say?" And then I told him to ring my stuff up and that we all have been waiting since the employees want to stand around and talk all day. Patrick says that was his manager and not to talk about his manager that way. I told him I don't care and he needs to ring my stuff up so I can check out. Once I was done both staff members were yelling at the next person in line. I also donated here before and the people are so rude. Goodwill is suppose to be a thrift store and there prices are ridiculous. I wont be donating here ever again, nor will I shop at a goodwill. VOA is way better.

Customer service, conduct of business and professionalism
This evening my fiancee, my brother in law and myself entered the store and started shopping when I noticed a few of the employees repeatedly circling my fiancee (who may have been a little dirty from his hard day at work) and my brother in law (who was recently in an accident that caused severe burns and lesions on his face and arms) then a security check was requested of the isles we were shopping in...I then noticed more employees starring and whispering about my brother in law and fiancee...which eventually irritated my brother in law to the point of asking a lady by the name of Angelina if she had an issue that he could help her with since she was following him and clearly interested in the same things he was looking at...she acted surprised and asked him if he had a question or needed help with something he said no respectfully and asked her why she kept following him around the store and she said she was simply doing her job but she wasn't following anyone else of harassing anyone else in the store... He then met me and my fiancee in the next isle (she also followed) at that point she asked my brother in law to leave the store which my fiancee tried to intervene and be respectful to the lady and ask what the issue was when she started being rude and told him they both needed to leave the store (for no reason other than asking why they were being followed or starred at and talked about) which I then asked her why she felt this way or what we did wrong and she stated we just needed to leave the store immediately or she would call the police...so we left our cart and began to walk down the isle towards the doors of the store while everyone in the store was now watching and the employees were pointing and snickering at us...I'm still unaware of her reasoning or the stores reason for harassing us tonight but it was embarrassing and unprofessional of the employees and I'm appalled by the way we were treated this evening because we we're shopping just like everyone else in the store but treated like criminals or something based on the way my fiancee was dressed and the injury's on my brother inlaws face...I thought goodwill industries based they're entire company values on helping people and not judging people by the way they look or how they're dressed or mental capability.

Hi my name is Mazin Odisho I go by Mike I live in southern California town called EL Cajon for the last 5 years i been buying items from GoodWill store in EL Cajon and spend a lot of money there i can prove it cause always I use my credit card I always ask for lower price if i see items is over priced cause i buy and sale since i lost my job cause of pandemic 2 weeks ago i was visiting GoodWill in EL Cajon and there was an item was missing price many time it happened but one employee and i been told he is manger asked him to prices that item he came back with item priced but i did not looked at item cause he told me it was $4.95 and said its fair price i believe i heard that he said $4.95 but when i get to Register she told me to pay $12.95 and i was surprised cause I thought i heard $4.95 so i went back looking for him and saw he and mention that time maybe he said $12.95 but i heard it $ 4, 95 it could be mistakenly heard it that but he went crazy should in the store keep saying don't do that time i wont accept it i keep telling i could heard you wrong but he did not give me chance to explain what so ever keep shouting and he did say if you keep doing that is if I always do that dont come back here anymore i left took off and kept away for 2 weeks game back today 10/5.2021 and he talk to other lady manger and she was worse then him cause my side of been costumer was not important to her so she tell me dont come back to this store anymore and i keep explaining but she careless to listen really was embarrassing moment but they have no right to do that and i never ever had argument with any person over there I hope you contact me and fix them issue i will in my side to call batter office of better business bureau and office of consumer affairs and complain there and I have cousin he work in News paper news columnist in San Diego to writ how those employees are taken advantage if been mangers I know your office don't care as long there is money coming to your pocket but remember cause if us we donated i did that a lot and buying in same time make your company bigger and stronger anyway my information are

very rude to myself and employee
one of your team members named lisa was very rude to me and my family I will not set foot in that store again .we also witnessed her being very belittling to one of her own team members . I believe her name was linda or malinda, it was very unprofessional and caused income loss due to other people leaving the store beside myself and my family. This past Monday (09-13-21) I stopped at the Goodwill Store in Morristown Tn to purchase a Panasonic SA-EN26 Micro Compact Audio System AM/FM Stereo Radio CD Player that I had seen on Saturday 09-11-21. I was at Goodwill when the store opened at 9:00AM. I put the Panasonic Radio/Audio System in my cart and continued shopping. The more than rude cashier woman approached me and took the Panasonic Radio out of my cart and said the Radio has already been sold! The cashier woman then put the radio into the cart of a man that she apparently knew very well. I then went to pay for the other items (Ball Canning Jars) and the guy that had the supposed already paid for Panasonic Radio was in front of me and then paid for the Panasonic Radio. So, I then realized that the Panasonic Radio had not already been "sold". I mentioned to the cash register woman that the Panasonic Radio that she had so very rudely snatched from my cart had not actually already been sold/purchased like she had told me. She said that she had told the person the previous Saturday that she would sell the Panasonic Radio to him on Monday when it would be 25% off with the senior discount!
It is now more than obvious to me that the employees at the Goodwill Store in Morristown sometimes and possibly often "mistreats" some of their customers and shows "favortism" to other customers that they either know or are possibly related to.
To the cashier woman that cheated me I simply suggest that if you are going to hold an item for a special customer then simply put the item behind the counter so other customers will not see that item. "Grabbing items out of customers carts is not the appropriate way to behave".
Shame, shame and shame again on the Goodwill Employee that so very rudely behaved/behaves in the manner that I have explained above.
Desired outcome: The Goodwill Employees need to be better trained!

Rude/short with me cashier
I was shopping at your West Bend, WI. store and the cashier was rude & very short with me! She asked me if I wanted to round up and I explained that I no longer do that as it is a pain not to get my items bagged for me! She responded twice to me quite rudely all I need is a yes or no answer.
Then pushed the items back at me and gave me my receipt and said nothing so I said what no Thank You?
She stood there and said nothing and I said seriously no Thank You? She then said Goodbye. I did tell an older clerk about this who I think is an charge person and she said send a complaint to corporate. So here it is: Store # 00022 Assoc. 129853 Date: 9-9-2021

Rude Employees at Donation Center

My wife and I have lived in the Youngstown area since 2007, We have donated thousands of dollars in good used clothing, small appliances, etc. to Goodwill. However, the way I was treated on 08/25/2021 at the Boardman OH donation center, I will not be returning.
I arrived at 12:30 with 9 large bags and 3 boxes mostly clothing. I got out of the truck and lowered the tailgate; shopping carts were lined up in front so I started putting bags in the carts. A young man pulled the first cart I filled to the side and began going through the bags. He didn't acknowledge me or offer to help so I thought common courtesy wasn't important. The young man removed a tarp and exercise pad from one of our donated bags and motioned to a man that appeared to be in charge, he mumbled something to the man, the man took the tarp and told the young man to throw the exercise pad in the garbage. After I unloaded the bags and boxes I said to the young man "I'm going to need a receipt" he stared at me for a few seconds and said "not if you are going to ask for one like that" we stared at one another for a few seconds more, I said "am I going to get one?" I walked toward the entrance to receiving where I had gotten receipts before, the other man came rushing toward me with his hand held in a stop motion and said "you can't come in here, stay behind the yellow poles" I said "I need a receipt" the man brought me a pre-signed blank receipt, I turned to leave, the man said sarcastically "your welcome". I left without any farther interaction. Those were my last donations to Goodwill.
I understand Goodwill has covid restrictions and rules in place and things are done differently, I did not see any signs nor was anyone wearing masks (myself included).

Hello Goodwill, Cindy the Cashier said Goodwill will not take American Express cards. I asked why and she snipped "I don't know this is not my business!." She never answered my question. I asked her name and to see her badge name and she refused. I didn't know at that time that her name would be on the receipt. Thank you for normally giving courteous customer service.

She woke up my cranky 18 month old son woke him up my now screaming baby she said for now on you do this okay or u cant bring him here l then proceeds to tell me i'm not allowed to put my purse in the cart. I have to keep it on my shoulder I was mad I bounced she stopped me at the door people I was there not 5 minutes apparantly my son's blanket looked to new for her and my jacket was with him so she argued that I stole the jacket or the blanket cuz why would I put both in his carseat with him.. I looked at her like she had lost her marbles she was looking at him she seen the blanket and my jacket I was like she is just messing with me cuz she can instead of acting crazy being rude or loosing my marbles I gave a huge fake smile calmly grabbed my son my already owning jacket and his ultimate favorite blanket that I cam in with! Goodwill sherman texas, we are due to get paid this Friday 6th, and was told we wasn't going to because the lady that signs the checks is on vacation. We live pay check to pay check n it's not right to do this, this is poor business or is it because special needs n handicap people work there they feel they can do us this way. I am pretty sure that what they are doing is illegal. They have to pay you on time. If she pays rent I am sure the landlord would not accept the excuse I could not pay my rent because I was on vacation. Nor would she accept the excuse. I have always enjoyed the benefits of shopping and donating to Goodwill Industries.
Today, 7.19.21, in the Brunswick ga store my safety was threatened by an irrate customer... who said"[censored], I'll cut you" several times, in between the profanity she was yelling at me.
I asked the associate on duty to call management...
in my opinion, he did not handle the situation correctly. I left the store (ready to call 911) as she was allowed to remain in the store.
I feel there should be managerial training implemented for just this type situation.
Unfortunately, I will not shop in that store again.

While looking at pillows and large bags I noticed on the wall piles of mold and mildew. The store is in same shopping center as Redners and behind the car dealer. It used to be Franks Nursery and Crafts. The mold is all over the wall on the left side of the dressing rooms. I couldn't believe my eyes. If this isn't enough in formation I could always contact Baltimore County Health Department
Service complaint
The manager thread the harvester road and Saint Charles Missouri location accused me of taken an item from another customer's cart in front of many other customers. I spoke with another employee and asked her three times if an item was available that was on the floor I did not take any items out of any carts. Your managers accusation was inappropriate and improperly handled please look into the quality of your management at this location. I frequent this occasion one to two times a week for the past several years except during the pandemic however I will not be spending any more of my money at Goodwill what a shame.
