Delivery of refrigerator and dishwasher [protected]
Re: Refrigerator delivery, order # WP [protected]
Refrigerator arrived, and delivery person said he was going to leave it on my driveway. I told him I requested pickup of the old refrigerator, and he said "Home Depot does this all the time".
He told me he wasn't "trained or licensed" to take the old one, and refused to take it. He left it in the middle of my kitchen floor, with the water to the ice maker still hooked up. He told me that if I got the refrigerator to the driveway, he would stop by and pick it up later - but left me no way to contact him. He spent ten minutes on the phone with his store, but "forgot" to tell them about my problem.
Before he left, he told me I should call the HD Service Desk in Cottonwood, and talk to Brent or Mike, and they might be able to coordinate something. I spent over one hour on the phone, calling the customer service number, and the general store number. I was rerouted every time to a voicemail box that was full. Finally, I called the Pro desk; the lady said she told Mike or Brent I was on the phone, and what it was about, but he never picked up. She took a message, but no one ever called me.
I then texted 38698 on the How Was Your Delivery? card. I told them my problem, and received a text telling me to call the Pro Referral Team at [protected]. I called, let them know my problem, and asked whether they had any deliveries in my area in the next few days to take away my old refrigerator. Her reply was, "we have people who deliver, not people who pick up". Stupid.
I did call the National Customer Service number also, and she told me that I did Not request pick up of the old appliance, so HD will do nothing to help me. I guess while I was shopping and changed refrigerators, I neglected to click the pick up old appliance box a second time.
I'm a widow in my 70's, but went online to learn how to cut the copper piping, fit on an endcap, while have shut off the cold water. Asking my friends to help, I found a young man to take the old one to the dump for $100.
I have always bought from Home Depot, but really regretted it this time.
Re: Dishwasher delivery, Order W897532615
Delivery was fine, they didn't care about the refrigerator issue and offered no assistance. My only complaint is that when I pointed out that they had chipped off a piece of laminate next to the dishwasher (1"x 1.5"), one guy asked me if I had some glue. I said yes, I do; and he quickly replied "well, just glue it back on then". What a condescending Jerk (don't know his name but it was Not Josiah, who was very nice). I had to go to the store to purchase some natural plastic wood filler to try to blend in the edges. But yes, I signed the contract saying there was no damage because the men were standing over me intensely.
Those delivery men were from the HD store in Mesa, AZ
Desired outcome: I would like an apology. Please consider compensating me for the $20 in tools and plastic wood or the $100 in refrigerator disposal. Next time I call Best Buy.
I cannot open the dishwasher using the handle. It is jammed into the space. I remember the installer bending and forcing the prongs on top to lie down so that the washer would fit; however, the front won't close or open without jamming it.
Also, the door on the front won't open completely. It springs up, tilting the entire dishwasher rack at a 45 degree angle.
Installer forced the dishwasher into the opening, chipping the laminate on the right side.
Life-time guaranteed flooring
Home Depot 10/14/17 Order number [protected]
I purchased luxury vinyl flooring with a lifetime guarantee by Mohock. The flooring has failed in my kitchen and bathroom.
I have been communicating with Home Depot in Cottonwood., AZ since June 14, 2022. I spoke with Mike Schrandt at that time.
Since then, the floor has been inspected by flooring installer. They have reported back to Home Depot.
I emailed Mike Schrandt on August 23 and Sept. 8 with no response.
I Called Mike Schrandt on Sept. 12, 22, 23.
I spoke with Bruce on Sept 22 & 23.
I spoke with Bruce on Oct.10
I spoke with manager Josh Fraizer on Sept. 29 at 11:20 am
I spoke with manager Robert on Oct 28
I spoke with manager Josh Fraizer on Nov. 4 at 11:56
No movement forward has been made to resolve my flooring problem.
Desired outcome: I would like my floors repaired.
Damaged washer
I purchased a washer, dryer, and stove during a holiday special this year. Unfortunately due to the past couple of years construction back logs and delays it was not opened until ready to install. Upon opening found that the washer was badly damaged even though there was no damage to the outside of box it was in. Obviously damaged before packaging. Went to...

Today I had to buy a second jar because the one before was full of clumps and globs which I had to filter I stood around waiting for the paint manager and finally gave up and paid for the second jar. The young man who mixed my color said they had to throw out some jars the other day because they had been frozen I’m pretty sure I got one of those jars because I asked him to look at the paint before mixing to make sure it looked smooth.
Desired outcome: Would have liked a discount for the clumps that I had to strain out because it made me have to buy another jar for what I lost. And I was so frustrated when checking out I left my receipt at check out.
Plywood
I ordered 3 sheets of plywood on-line and was quoted a delivery charge of $8.99. I received an email on the day of the scheduled delivery saying that the items were too big for delivery. I contacted their rep and was told that in order get delivery I would have to pay a flat bed delivery cost of $75.00. Despite confirmation of my order and charging my credit card, they were unwilling to honor their web site quote. The customer service rep's only remedy was "I'm sorry." That did nothing to solve my problem. Home Depot should have honored their quote.
Desired outcome: Home Depot should pay me for the additional delivery cost ($75.00-$8.99) and compensate me for my inconvenience. Company employees/agents should have the interest and ability to solve customer problems.

To whom it may concern,
I have called everyone to finish the job that Home Depot started in August of 2022. I am a landlord that is waiting for the kitchen to be finished for it s tenants. I have patiently waited until now, though I have called everyone including Ted Decker's office to complain that Home Depot makes an appointment and then never shows up. I am not a rich woman, I have no other income then rent on this one little apartment, and I will lose it if Home Depot does not replace the door cabinets, in which they measured correctly but were manufactured incorrectly. the official assured me that they would be ready within two weeks. We still have nothing after calling every week, booking four appointments and no one ever shows up.
Desired outcome: I would like my cabinet doors replaced and reimbursed if I lose income from my rental.
Dishwasher
I am doing a complaint because when I got the dishwasher the people that installed it saw a dent and they reported it to customer service and they asked me do I want a discount or a replacement and I said discount so then they said they will send me the discount but they never did I called them they said call Samsung I called Samsung they said to call home depot and at the end I did not get either the discount or a replacement.
stove delivery not shown up twice

Military Discount
In 1972 I was 17 years old and joined the Navy to serve our Country. I was not drafted. Both my Father and Mother served this Great Nation in WWII. My 2 older Brothers served in the Vietnam conflict as well. Retiring now at 67 I find that with The Extremely High prices of building goods we would appreciate a little relief as we build and better our home while we still can Do It ourselves. I have for decades used Home Depot for both my business and personnel purchases in just about every category they sell.
Now there are showing there true Colors when with their supposed Military discount Limits Annual savings and excludes Building Materials which have most of us in this day and age scrambling to find at reasonable prices. It is beyond me that they will not compete with their across the street competitors and provide us Veterans with modest savings as Lowes does without question.
Desired outcome: change military discount Limits.

Heritage mills cork flooring and lack of follow-through
Heritage Mills cork flooring product was purchased from Home Depot store. I got reassurance from the Home Depot associate that these floors were indeed refinish a bowl. There is also a guarantee listed with the product re the floor being able to be refinished once.
After having several flooring refinishers turned away out of fear of the floor disintegrating, I approached Home Depot service desk and talked with Haley who made a call to Heritage Mills and stated there would be follow up. A store manager approached us and also agreed there would be follow-through. They agreed that the contract shows these floors should be able to be refinished. After Home Depot couldn't find the invoice number, I provided this local service desk with the requested copy of the credit card transaction..
At this point I have sent several emails to my local Home Depot service desk and I am getting no response. These floors are currently unacceptable and I do need these remedied quickly.
Sincerely,
Bethany Dwinnell
Desired outcome: Flooring that can be refinished as per promised by this product
Delivery, customer service, ppliances, management
I’m writing this review on behalf of my parents. A few weeks ago, my parents’ washing machine broke and my mother decided to upgrade both the washer and dryer, so she ordered the LG Washtower to be delivered this past Saturday 10/22/22. She received a call on Friday night as expected, and was informed the delivery window for the washtower would be sometime between 12:30 and 4:30 in the afternoon. In order to make space and comply with Home Depot’s guidelines for delivery and installation, my father and I removed the old washer and dryer ourselves, taking out a window and removing the laundry room/bathroom door from its hinges to eliminate any potential obstructions in preparation for the next day. My parents waited all afternoon for the Washtower to be delivered, but when no one had shown up with the delivery by 5:00 on Saturday, my mother contacted the customer service line. She waited on hold for the better part of an hour before she was told that they had no explanation as to why my parents’ delivery hadn’t occurred, but that they could reschedule for Monday. Both of my parents work full time, which was why my mother made sure she could schedule their delivery on a weekend. She was advised that Home Depot doesn’t make deliveries on Sundays, so she would need to wait until the following weekend. At this point, my parents had removed both the broken washing machine and the working dryer, as well as a window and a door, and made one of the bathrooms in their home unusable. They live in a rural area ~30 mins from civilization, so to speak, so they don’t have access to a laundromat or dry cleaner. After my mother hung up with customer service, she checked the tracking number for her delivery again and in the time since she ended the call with Home Depot, someone had updated the tracking status to state that they had attempted the delivery, but no one was available to receive it. My parents cancelled their entire day to wait for this delivery, and they have cameras out front monitoring the driveway. No deliveries were attempted. A delivery truck didn’t even drive down the road that day. My mother called back, very upset, and was told by customer service that they have no idea why the tracking status was changed and they can’t get ahold of anyone from the delivery department in order to ask them. Since HD doesn’t allow returns, the best they could tell my mother was that AFTER the delivery does occur, they can credit her $150. They said in the meantime, they would pass the information regarding her failed delivery onto a man named Frank, who was described only as the “General Manager”. Customer service stated Frank would contact my mother within 24 hours, which would be a little after 6:00pm EST on Sunday 10/23. Anticipating that Frank probably doesn’t work on Sunday, my mother assumed he wouldn’t call until Monday. Well, Tuesday evening rolled around and Frank STILL hadn’t called. My mother called customer service back, which they had advised her to do if she didn’t receive a call, and the person she spoke with had no idea which Frank she was told she could expect a call from, and why. After ANOTHER long explanation about the situation, she was told Frank is the Delivery GM and customer service stated he would absolutely be calling today. Guess who STILL hasn’t called?
My father was a contractor for many years and has been a loyal Home Depot customer for decades. He built several of our houses when I was growing up, including the one my parents still live in, and he shopped almost exclusively at Home Depot for those projects. I’ve never left a negative review for anything before, but honestly I feel tempted to write a dozen of them just to recount this terrible experience. I will be posting this on their website as well, but in the event it gets taken down, I want it to be accessible for other potential customers so I will also be reposting this to other sites. DO NOT buy appliances from Home Depot. Give your money to a business that actually deserves it. I don’t even know how it’s legal for them to lie and deceive customers this way while still stating they won’t offer refunds. An offer of $150 upon completion of a delivery that THEY FAILED to make happen is insulting at this point, and doesn’t even begin to cover the inconveniences my parents have suffered because of this. If someone from Home Depot is reading this - FIX THIS, and do better.

Spoke to Maria. She wouldn't give me any other details about herself. I'm trying to prevent a fraudulent account. Someone is trying but hasn't been successful yet. I'm trying to stop it and get the hard inquiry off my credit. Nobody has been able to help. She gave me another number to call. Ive been transferred at least 3 times. When I asked for her name she seemed more willing to help. Instead left me on hold. It hung up on me after 22minutes. My name is John. [protected]
Desired outcome: I'd like to have the inquiry taken off my credit report and get the information from the application to try and aid some sort of authority to catch this fraudster.

To Home Depot customer service,
We are writing in regard to an online order reference number [protected].
We ordered this bathtub for my 90-year-old mother and ever since we received it, it has been problematic. You can find attached pictures where you can see the tub is defective and dangerous as the parts are coming apart. This was ordered online on 09/01/20. It was delivered in mid or late December but unfortunately due to COVID at its peak everything was delayed and due to government restrictions most construction was on hold. Then Our contractor delayed the home construction by nearly over a year for COVID and other supply delays. When we approached a few other professional licensed plumbers who tried to work it, found out the hot water mixing valve was not working on the tub motor. For months we were chasing your customer support office, after a long haul with different customer service reps. and being pushed around, last Year October one Home Depot rep at Strandherd store in Barrhaven was kind enough to order that part from Ella. We finally received the part and eventually it was installed to get the tub going. However, with all that was going on we were out of the initial return warranty time by the time we moved into the home and found out that the tub was defective.
Initial chaos started when on the first attempt of use the side wall popped out. The snap out sound nearly gave my mother a panic attack.
Secondly the door didn’t close properly and my poor mother who was already in a shock sadly fell in towards the tub when she tried to get in it. Since then, she is so scared of it that she has never attempted to use it the second time. My poor mother goes down to the basement with her stick to shower as she doesn’t trust this tub. A stressful ordeal not only for her, but also for both my husband and me - we are both seniors ourselves and it was a big investment for us as well.
Since past two years we had three or four different plumbers come in to take a look at it to see if it can be fixed, especially the back, but to no avail.
We are a long-time (30+ Years) customer of Home Depot have always made all our major construction purchases for our last five houses from there. We have gone into your store twice to see if anything can be done to help but they insist that since it was an online purchase there are no options for us.
We are severely disappointed that we were not provided quality goods nor good service. We are therefore requesting that you return this item and refund us the money back as it is a hefty amount to be ignored. After sales support is extremely important for a customer and not something We as a consumer wish to be forced to dispute.
Please contact me by email or phone 647–986–3499 to discuss arrangements.
Thank you sincerely for your understanding. Your prompt action will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Narjis & Ashfaq Zaidi

Desired outcome: Please return the bathtub and kindly refund us the money so that we can install a new shower stall for her.

I ordered a refrigerator on September 28. After 5 attempts for delivery, I canceled the order, and I still have no refrigerator. after I placed my order, they asked what time I would like delivery. Because I work, I asked for the 4 pm-7.30 pm window. The first time for delivery, the delivery team call me at 9 am, to say they were on the way. I explained that I asked for a late delivery, and the driver said, he saw my request for a late delivery but didn't know why they were scheduled to come out early. I had to wait for the next morning to reschedule. I was told the refrigerator had to be returned to the warehouse and rescanned. Then I could reschedule. The next available date was some days later. It's never the next day or two. Every time I made a delivery appointment, it was the same outcome. Different delivery time than I had requested. I changed my schedule at work, so I could be home, then they change the time from what I requested. I did firn out one thing regarding the delivery. Because my address was close to the warehouse, their GPS was scheduling my delivery first. How crazy is this that they can't bypass a GPS> What did they do before there was one? I then took off a half day from work, so I could be home for morning delivery. 8 am-12 pm delivery. No show. I went to work, after 12 pm. At about 12.30 pm they called saying they would be making the delivery in about 20 minutes. I was at work. Now it's been almost a month without a refrigerator. I made one last attempt for delivery, which would have been 10/26/22. I was going to be off from work on this day. Something was added at work, so I would have to work, and they couldn't change the time. I decided to cancel the order. When I called [protected], which I have called so many times, (I know it by memory), I told the customer service agent, I wanted to cancel, and she said "OK". That was it. I don't know what I expected, but she was so nonchalant about it, I guess this happens to many other people. as of today, I still don't have a refrigerator. I do have to say, that when I called the 800 number over the weeks, there were other service agents who tried to help, with rescheduling the delivery. But they said, once they made the appointment, it was dispatch who was responsible. Dispatch had called me, to see about one of the delivery attempts, but they couldn't help at that time. They could never redeliver the refrigerator later in the day.
When I think about all the Home Depot employees I spoke to about this order, it's crazy. I even called the store on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd, to see if they could help. It is the closest to my house. I spoke to the manager Sherice, who tried to help, but explained because it wasn't bought at that store, she couldn't do anything.
When I canceled the refrigerator, I was told it would take up to 10 days to get my credit. Home Depot took the money right away, now I have to wait to get my money back. I took off from work for a total of 9 hours, to be home for the delivery. I will not get that money back, or my refrigerator.
Buying this online was a bad experience. I could never recommend Home Depot to anyone for anything. I will go to Loew's from now on. Thank you.
Figure out how to make a delivery without a GPS. Offer a refrigerator to me at a discount, and a delivery time that is good for me, not them.
Desired outcome: Figure out how to make a delivery without a GPS. Offer a refrigerator to me at a discount, and a delivery time that is good for me.
This was a horrible experience. I could feel the frustration as I was reading. For all the slick commercials, where everything goes smoothly and the customer is sooooo happy, that must be in Disney Land because in real life, Home Depot doesn't come close.
Yes, Lowes is the better choice. I hop you have your refrigerator by now. Best to you.

FRUSTRATION! My order was to be delivered Thursday the 20th October but the team went to the wrong address. Once again supposed to be delivered on Friday but they forgot to load it on the truck. So here is today, Saturday, 22nd. Once again the idiots at the warehouse FORGOT to load it onto the truck! Now they want me to reschedule for next week! I have just called in and cancelled this $1800 order! BTW...this similar thing happened to me 3 years ago when I ordered a dishwasher! Someone needs a stern talking to! I am sorry but in done with Home Depot! Going to Lowes to order the same thing now! Bye
James G PaULY
Desired outcome: Refund!!!!
Wow! The incompetence is scary! I had to give up on them a while ago. In store shopping is a clown school, no one knows anything, can't help you with product comparison, and the item you want is always out of stock even though they said it was in stock on the website. And, of course, an orange apron wearer can't help you because, they don't know anything, so you are back to square one.
I am shopping at Lowes now, I can't deal with Home Depot.
Appliance installation problem for dryer
We had a dryer purchased and installed by Home Depot 2/27/21 on customer order number [protected] to Philip McManus 13322 SE Linden Lane Portland OR 97222 model # 45499. This week the dryer failed to provide adequate heat to dry clothes. This morning my husband (Mr. McManus) pulled the paperwork we were given and followed the instructions for verifying the dryer prior to calling for repair. In doing so he found the instructions had not been followed by the installer provided by Home Depot and that the hosing on the unit was installed incorrectly and had caused the hosing to crimp and become an issue. He then called Home Depot and was told that since it was no longer under the one year warranty they are not responsible for the repair and there was nothing they can do. We can order a repair but will have to pay for it. Since this was caused solely by the installer provided by Home Depot not following the directions we are not facing 2 issues: 1 the dryer does not work properly and 2 we are facing a leaking natural gas issue caused by the crimping. We need this taken care of immediately and will be notifying the BBB of the problem and risks caused us.
This is copy of information I tried to send on line to Home Depot Customer service this morning trying to get this corrected before the gas leak causes us an explosion.
Desired outcome: Repair of crimped hosing or a new dryer. A 1 year warranty for the part/s. Done as soon as possible to avoid explosion. We have only one shut off valve that we know of causing a concern over the leak from the dryer hose.
Lg refrigerator
Ice maker has broke for the 6th time and unit qualifies for no lemon buyback but they continue to try to send out the same service company that will not due report required for buy back. They are aware that A and E service will not due report but continue to send them out so they do not have to due buy back. The fridge was purchased in June 2020 and it is the same issue over and over.
Desired outcome: Buy back
Can no longer sign on to my account
Cannot login to my HD online account. Did not receive verification code via email after many attempts Contacted customer support and tech support they could not resolve issue. I am not blocking HD email. Cannot place order even as guest. Have been ordering from other sellers. Home Depot has locked me out of current ordering and past files. No call back to help or resolve this matter.
Desired outcome: If your still in business online reopen my account so I can access.
Kitchen Remodel
There seems to be some confusion on our part, we thought all the measurements were done back in June with a laser. Why are they doing them again? Your people came and did it. We are getting the impression that nobody really cares about our concerns as we have been transferred around to different people. Due to vacations and or just out of the office for extended periods. Some of the confusion comes from an email we received that said to plan on the job taking between 3 to 5 days. Then the following week would have been the counters. We were told the materials were ordered at the same time then it would be 2 weeks Also why now are we just hearing from the outside installers, and they said it could be about another month?! Also, one of the drawers' sticks and we were supposed to have a tray in front of the sink the installer said he would let someone know so that it could be fixed. When can we except that to happen? Then there is the cracked pipe under the sink do we have to wait a month to have that fixed. Are the counter people also doing the plumbing for the new sink or is that someone different
Sincerely Stan Lewallen
Desired outcome: Would like to get an answer to our questions and just how much longer is this going to take
