All services covered by the contract.
My daughter, who it turned 18 years old 5 days before a zoom call with a company rep, was convinced that if she signed a contract then and there she would receive wonderful discounts on her services. She told me that the person on the Zoom call told her she could quit at any time. Of course there's no way to know what went on in the Zoom call because the company states that they have no transcript. She could have lied through her teeth to my daughter and we would have no proof. Bottom line, my daughter signed a contract and within a week received a bill for $2,000 that had already been charged to a new credit account that they had opened in her name. The credit company, fortiva, would not allow her to dispute the charge. The interest on the loan that she did not understand she was taking is over 20%. Ideal image told her that she had signed the contract and she was there for obligated to pay the $2,000 whether she received any treatments or not. Their sales tactics are slamming, making naive women think that if they don't sign that very second that they will lose a great deal. We are working to extradite My high school senior from this contract,
Desired outcome: Get out of the contract.
Hair removal
My daughter paid over $8,500 in January 2022 to get a full body hair removal. She was told she was the prime candidate as her skin is olive and she has dark coarse hair. She was also told that 80%-90% of hair would be removed during the treatment. Before her contract of 16 months expired, we raised concerns about there still being a lot of hair all over her body. We were told by two different facilities (one in KY and one in TN) that they would extend her contract at no extra cost. After the contract expired we were told by the customer service and corporate office that they don't do that and she could go for a touch up. We were told by multiple people at the KY office (nurses, sales people, and office people) that she would pay between $25-$40 per body part for a touch up if any hair returned after her treatment was complete. The treatment is not complete as she has so much hair still that one touch up would not make a difference. 80%-90% reduction did not happen as promised. We sent pictures and also went into the office to have them take pictures to send to corporate. We have talked to multiple people in the "corporate" office on the phone after sending the pictures who now state that the contract says the price was subject to change and as of Dec 2022 it will cost her between $50-$300 per body part. We did not receive any notification of the price being raised via phone, email, or mail. When I explained this on the phone they told me it was because we were still under contract in December when the prices were raised. We still have not received notification after the expiration. The corporate office estimated that a touch up for all the parts that still have hair would be $1,500 every session. She still needs multiple treatments. My daughter was 17 at the time of signing the contract and worked almost full time while in high school in order to pay for this treatment. I do have to state that all the employees working at the physical locations are super nice and helpful. The problem is corporate does not stand by their product and just keeps reiterating on the phone that we signed the contract, it is not 100% guaranteed, and we can pay to get a touch up.
Desired outcome: Ideal Image should finish treatments until hair is gone at no additional cost. The original price of $25-$40 a body part should be honored for touch ups in the future.
Laser hair removal
Daughter has been going to appointments for two plus years, hair still growing. No comments, phone calls, or emails from ideal image after many attempts to speak to someone regarding this issue. I do not want a refund, I want the service to be completed, basically when no more hair grows back, as promised.
Last appointment was in April, they said no more, daughter went to summer camp for 2 months, and came home with hair everywhere we had gotten treatment done over the past 2 years. I have called corporate June 2nd, 2023, I called the local office last week twice with no callback or response from the management.
Please help!

Desired outcome: No more hair! Continue to do laser treatments until the promised outcome is delivered.
Unused services
I had a consultation on June 29th, 2023. There was a promotion going on that was ending June 30th and the consultant Tammie Fleming was pressuring me to sign before the promotion was gone. I was sent paperwork rapidly and was uninformed about their policies which now I understand is a tactic they use to scam people. I have medical issues that won't allow me...

Hair never removed, only gone for short period of time after each treatment. Spoke to corporate multiple times about the lack of results, never got any satisfaction from them. Told the nurses almost every session that I still had a ton of hair, they would say "let me send these pictures to my area manage, they will follow up." never received any follow up. Treatment period 'over' even though my hair was never gone. Paid hundreds of dollars for 'touch ups.' Finally someone is taking my complaints seriously, and telling me they could have done double passes at all of my treatments, but never did. So instead of them doing what they could to rid my hair, they did the bare minimum, and now I'm paying money for 'touch ups' that are really a continuation of treatment since my hair was never removed. There was a time my hair grew back in a zig zag pattern, clearly because the tech missed that whole area. I could go on for hours on the issues I've had with Ideal Image.
In addition, I had scheduled touch ups in November. This was cancelled, rescheduled for December. This was also cancelled, so I was forced to make an appointment in the new year (Jan 2023). There were new year prices which were about 50% higher than previously. So because they cancelled my appointments multiple times, I'm now coerced into paying more with the new prices. Never was I told about these new prices prior to my appointment.
Desired outcome: Money back, or continuation of treatment without paying touch up fees
Charging for a service I tried to immediately cancel after being pushed to sign up
Tried to cancel the after signing up bc the sales rep was weird about me reading the contract and said there wasn't really anything to worry about.. A woman named erin said I couldn't and blocked me from contacting ideal image corporate number, and then started charging Fortiva .The man i spoke with said I had to cancel within 3 days via email and it was impossible for me to blocked over the phone. Ashley pascal said there was no way to cancel. NO Services were rendered. I'm disgusted with how greedy and snakey this company is.
Desired outcome: Fortiva refuned
Coolsculpting
Purchased October 2022. Contract was valid for one year. I had 6 left of 18 purchased. They were marked as expired July 10, 2023. That was the date that prior purchases would have expired. I have been unable to schedule my last 6 appointments. I have called my local office, and they have no record of me calling before. They cannot get in touch with their "CNC agent," and despite being told I would get calls back, I have received no calls to my knowledge.
Desired outcome: Since I cannot schedule but two appointments, I will surely lose some of my sessions due to this snafu. I would like to receive additional time on my contract so that I can schedule and use the services that I purchased.
Someone called me about a week ago and said that my request to reinstate my remaining balance of purchases would be signed off on by a supervisor and completed in a day or two. I have heard back nothing and my coolsculpting remains unavailable.
No product or service rendered.
April 28, 2023, I called Ideal Image, to inquire about special pricing of Botox and Juvederm that popped up as advertisement on my iPad. Talked with a very rapid speaking, possibly foreign woman. I asked what her name was after she had gotten mine. She said it much too fast so I asked her to spell. I’m still unsure what she said or spelled. Sounded like “Basia”. My sole purpose for call was to inquire about the specials of the two products, Botox and Juvederm. She spoke over me, interrupting and avoiding my simple question. She next had me call her back so she could physically see my face on Zoom App. Number given [protected]. I thought it kind that she wanted us to see one another as we talked. I tried again, prices of……and again, as if I weren’t talking, she cut me off and said I had to try Ultherapy. 1st visit would be nose area and after that appointment, the Greensboro Office would schedule the next appointments needed. She held up a paper with special price of $999.00 but told me 1805.00. When I questioned, she said that the 999.00 was for something else. I asked what else, and she just talked over my finished words, again, non stop. Before giving her my card info, I made sure that nothing was being charged until I could research. She confirmed nothing to my card. Next Basia flashed pages of paperwork in front of me to sign. I was reading and she literally said standard process, not allowing me to read, and she signed for me. Next morn, 1805.00 to Ideal Image pending from checking. I thought, no biggy, I’ll drive to Greensboro location and get refund. I waited at front desk for atleast 5-10 minutes with staff walking about but not once was my presence acknowledged. No hello, no someone will be with you shortly, nothing. I felt invisible and embarrassed just standing at front desk. Finally, receptionist popped up and listened to my refund request but she shot me down “no refunds”. I explained no service had been rendered and I’d been told my card would not be run until after initial appointment. Again, she rudely stated “we do not give refunds”. I said fine, and told her I’d stop payment. She said too late, we have your card on file and it stays in your file indefinitely. I called my bank and had a brand new debit card with new number requested. It I was too late to stop pay. I had to go through this story then (and atleast 10 more times) to get new card and then I had to file a claim with my Bank, Capital One, to get money back. I did not get money back. Three weeks with no debit card and no checks to access my account. I am disabled, should not have made the initial call to Ideal Image, I’ve been rudely spoken to by the staff, and no service has ever been rendered. I simply want a refund of $1805.00. Please call text or email for my check account number to process refund.
Desired outcome: Refund of total amount paid, $1805.00, by certified check. I’d appreciate response and refund. Sincerely, Page Lawing [protected]
I never received any service yet ideal image wants to charge me
I had a consultation over zoom with Ideal Image on July 8th to receive treatment for hair removal. I was under the impression that I was signing up to see how much credit a bank would loan me, however later would I find out that I had been misinformed. I did get approved for the amount that I needed and scheduled an appointment, however since I'm in college and also need to help my mom with rent I decided it would not be what is financially best for me so I cancelled my first appointment and never went. About two weeks later it showed up that I owed money to a bank and was very confused since I never had went to an appointment. I guess when I did the consultation I signed a contract with Ideal Image and now even though I never want to an appointment I still need to pay for their services. I have called them and spoke with them and they do not want to help me which I do not think is right. They were very misleading over that zoom call and I would like for this issue to be resolved and I hope that no one else has to go through this.
Desired outcome: Refund
Scammers buyer beware
Ideal Image is a filthy greed driven company. They con you into signing up for a credit card without even having any services.
When you try to fix the issue they get this guy Ben who is in Customer Service to try to con you into getting services. They are the most slimy company I have ever heard of.
I had a Zoom call with a rep and she talked to me and did not explain fully what I was signing because I am not a Lawyer to understand all of the small print.
I am unfortunately one of thousands going through the same thing. It is all over TikTok how these people have been scammed the same as me. Charged for services never received.
Desired outcome: Charge removed because I did not and will not have any services done by a Company that is so deceitful.
Spa services
Membership contract was signed in March 2022 After the first free consultation in March(same day) I tried to book an appointment I was told that they were booked out for 3 months and membership does not roll over for each year. I had purchased quite are sessions under the assumptions I was going to be able to receiver services at least on a weekly basis. There are only 3 locations in NC. I spoke with a customer service rep the same day asking if I could cancel my membership due to this matter. The rep told me yes. I didn't think anything of it since she had my account pulled up and I assumed it was cancelled. For the next 4 months I was charged $425.25 and had not received one service. The last I was contacted for a appointment was in June when I was automatically scheduled and I was at work. not call to schedule. Since I am completing this on the computer I will have to screenshot my bank statements where they are charging me and I do not have an acct with them. Every time I get the money put back in my acct they call and it gets taken back out. Ideal Image are frauds and are promoting false advertisement.
Skincare products
I ordered skincare products from them and they were never delivered! Every time I call ideal image, they can see my order was placed but can’t give me an order number or any details regarding the order and shipment around it. They stole my $500. Do not order from this company, it is full of scammers! I have been calling over and over again with no luck!

These people are scammers and liars. Do not use them! they will take your money and then have a "nurse practitioner" diagnose you in a 5 min zoom call with whatever she wants so you only qualify for more expensive treatments and try to upsell you. Over a year ago I looked into ideal image because I wanted some Botox. I was talked into the membership by a sales lady who promised me results that turned out to not be possible via ultherapy. When I showed up to you appointments, the nurse was surprised I wanted ultherapy. I told her sales lady had told me it would correct jowls and she said that was not. I was ineligible for their laser treatment because of melasma, and I had previously been unsuccessful with laser hair removal because I am a blonde. The nurse felt bad for me and told me to try to get my money back. I did try. After several phone calls and complaints, customer service offered me a compromise. They would not let me out of the contract but they did give me a credit for Botox. They also promise me that I would not be auto enrolled. I used the credits, and at the appointment I even checked to make sure that I was not set up to auto enroll. I was assured again that I was not. I naively assumed they would honor that. The spring, I was auto enrolled and charged $300. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get the straightened out and have not received my money back. I finally disputed it with visa but I deal image claimed I had signed the contract and visa took their side.
Today I decided to call customer service one more time to see if I could get things sorted out before I appealed with Visa because it just seems like such a hassle. I talked to a customer service agent who went through my file and could see that there were several notes going back to May 16th of 2022 documenting my request to get out of this membership. However, the paperwork had never been finalized or processed. I asked if she could send me a screenshot of any of the notes and she said she could not and she reminded me that the call was being recorded.
Desired outcome: I just want the money I was charged for the auto enrollment. I haven't used ideal image this year. They lose nothing by giving me my money back.

Where to start. This company is a complete scam and employees have expressed the same and have quit. I signed up for cool sculpting for $3000. There were pictures of results and although I was excited for a change I was hesitant to sign up because for me as a substitute teacher I make very little and wasn’t sure I should spend money on this. The gal on the phone convinced (manipulated) me to buy a package with a bonus cool tone. I started in Sept 22 and followed their 90 day between treatments plan and after the third and final treatment in spring of 23 I called customer service balling because I paid so much money for no results. Customer service told me results are different for everyone. If the sales gal had told me that I may not see results I wouldn’t have signed up. I was so hopeful as I work so hard to stay in shape but had tummy issues from having kids I could not get rid of and age plays a factor now too. No support from the facility people or customer service. The cool tone did nothing either. This is a total scam. I felt lied to and then had no help when I explained there were no changes. Awful company. How can people look themselves in the mirror and be proud of scamming people. I want my money back! This way I won’t continue to feel guilty for paying for something that was a fraudulent claim. What a joke. Shame on this company. I’d happily join a class action lawsuit.
Desired outcome: I want my money back $3000 plus tax
Ideal image
I was excited to finally get coolsculpting done and was told I had a lifetime guarantee. I paid $4,000 for six treatments for my lower abdomen and I figured it would be all worth it and was much cheaper than a tummy tuck. 6 treatments had passed and I did the follow up consultation to look at the before and after pictures which turned out to be WORSE than...
Read full review of Ideal ImageAvoid Ideal Image at All Costs: My Disappointing Experience with Cosmetic Procedures
I saved up for a whole year to treat myself to some cosmetic procedures at Ideal Image, but unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal. I decided to get fillers on my cheeks, but after the treatment, I saw no results. When I went back to the clinic, they told me that my skin or cheeks must not have taken the fillers, and there was nothing they could do about it. I was devastated, and begged them to help me, but they simply said sorry and refused to make it right.
To make matters worse, I also got Botox injections, but the results were weak and only lasted for about 60 days. I was extremely disappointed, and when I asked to speak with corporate, I was told that they would get back to me, but I never heard from them. The store manager at the Ideal in Zona Rosa, Kansas City, told me that they couldn't do anything about my concerns, and I was left in tears, feeling like I had wasted all my hard-earned money.
I would strongly advise anyone considering cosmetic procedures to avoid Ideal Image at all costs. They are scammers who will talk you into anything just to make a sale, and they don't care about their customers at all. In fact, I and other women have noticed that the employees are saving part of syringes that are purchased by clients and using them for their personal use or for profit. This is a clear breach of trust, and it's no wonder that Ideal Image has such a bad reputation among many people.
To add insult to injury, after being locked into a membership, they changed the price of their Botox injections in the middle of the agreement without notifying me. This is an extreme breach of contract, and they had no explanation other than "sorry." I cannot express how much I despise this place and the grief that they have caused me personally.
In conclusion, I would never recommend Ideal Image to anyone, not at this location, not at the Westport location, and not at any of their other locations. They are highly overpriced, and their services are subpar at best. If you're looking for cosmetic procedures, I would suggest looking elsewhere and doing your research to find a reputable clinic that truly cares about its customers.
Disappointing Experience with Ideal Image: Lack of Expertise and Communication
I had a really bad experience with Ideal Image. I first went to their location in New Mexico and was disappointed to find that there were too many bosses and not enough nurses. I only spoke to one lady who didn't seem to know what she was doing. After my treatment, I went home and washed my face, but I didn't see any improvement for a whole week.
I then transferred to their location in Tucson, where they started me at the lowest setting. I had paid a lot of money for a package that included my whole face, neck, front and back, but it ended up being worse than before. I had to shave and pluck, which caused a rash and cystic acne above, below, and on the sides of my face and neck. It was so bad that I had to use my whole year's worth of touchups, but it still didn't help.
I tried to contact someone about my concerns, but no one ever answered my questions. I was told that a nurse was going to be sent down to New Mexico because they were having problems, but the same thing happened in Tucson. They got my money, but I got nothing out of it.
Now that I'm older, I still have black hair and have to shave, which causes even more cystic acne and ingrown hairs. It's really painful and hurts a lot. I have pictures and documents that show what it's doing to my face and body, and I will share them with anyone who wants to see.
Overall, I would not recommend Ideal Image to anyone. They took my money and didn't deliver on their promises. The lack of communication and expertise was really disappointing.
