salad bar
I have a large family. One of the things that we all looked forward to was the 1/2 off salad bar price on Saturdays. Imagine my surprise when I checked out yesterday (8.3.19) and didn't receive my 1/2 off. The check out person said, "Yep, no more 1/2 off salad bar on Saturdays."...seriously ? (There was no signage saying otherwise, either.) . We spend on average $900/month for groceries at Jewel. I can only imagine that it was hugely successful and Jewel thought they were losing money. BRING IT BACK ! I very rarely go to the grocery store on Saturday and that was what brought me in and because I am writing this, it could be something that will stop me from purchasing at such frequency.

The liquor manager at 34th & King Drive admitted to smoking marijuana which is against company policy. Melvin is constantly being heard in the aisles talking out loud and being rude being disrespectful calling customers "fat [censored]" & "[censored]" Melvin the liquor manager need to make sure he is not heard in aisle being rude and disrespectful calling customers names.

There is a manager who works at jewel osco located on 9400 s. Ashland Chicago ik 60620. Her name is Cynthia. She is very rude and nasty talking. She talk to the baggers as if they are nothing. There was a bagger named scymone and she told her if you don't want to work you should just quit and that girl was sick. I seen it in her face but she still came to work. That was not right of Cynthia to tell that young lady that.

I am contacting you today because eof a road safety issue. At aproximatly 11:15 cst trailer# 131329 was driving aggressively and using shoulder to pass traffic on eastbound 290 near st Charles rd. in illinois. As a truck driver myself this is a safety concern for me and others on the road. I usally try to give drivers the benefit of the doubt to truck drivers but not when its this blatant.

deli cooked and warm chicken tenders
I purchased 16 warm chicken tenders from the deli today around 4:15p.
I brought them home for dinner.
They were dry as a bone, hard to swallow.
We were quite disappointed, but didn't have time to go back for a replacement.
I just wanted to provide feedback so this doesn't happen to someone.
The cost was around $16.00.
The chicken was so dry and hard to eat.
I don't typically shop at Jewel, but went there especially for warm chicken tenders.

I have been shopping at jewel for many years and have always been happy with my experience until recently. Why don't they have enough staff? Jewel has 1 older lady running the customer assistance desk, working on a cash register and being the only one who can sell alcohol! Everyone else in in high school and this is on a saturday night.
Total bs and then ya have to wait 20 minutes in line!

I bought popcorn on 7/8/19 when I went to serve it to my children and I noticed that the Best Buy date was 1/19/2018. I'm so disgusted by this and I don't understand how an item can be that old & have a current sale sticker on it. There were multiple boxes on the shelf at eye level. This was actually one of several expired items that I picked up on my shopping trip. It's so disappointing that so many expired items are all over the entire store. It's stressful shopping with kids and having to check every single date during your shopping trip. But I have to say year and a half old popcorn is the worst I've experienced and I don't believe I'll be returning.

I visited the Jewel- Os o on E 87th street in Chicago, intersection of 87th and Lafayette. I entered the location went to the Deli and waited my turn. When my turn came, I ordered the 12 piece meal and it came with three sides! Asked for the American potato salad, Tator babies, and coleslaw. The associate stated that they were out of Original/American potato salad and offered Granny or Grandma Potato salad and he allowed me to taste it. It was not what my taste bud enjoyed! I was then asked by a female associate if I wanted some Macaroni and I turned it down. I then asked for thé Ceasar salad and was told I couldnt have that side! I asked for a Manager and while I waited, the associates were waiting on other customers. Thé Manager called back and informed the associates that I could have the Ceasar salad. It was now my turn again, but, I was skipped over. I informed the male associate that I was next. Thé associate reminded me that I was waiting for the Manager, and I reminded him of what yhe female associate told him about what the Manager said, and he said I still had to wait. I'm upset now. I raised my voice and aaid you gotta bw kidding me. Are you punishing me or something. He Said I dont have to do that and were not going to so this. I asked, Do what? He started gesturing with his hand and was ignoring me, but, the customer he was about to wait on, told him to wait on me. By then, I felt bad for asking for a substitué side and didnt want the chicken dinner or the Cold cuts, cause, I was going to order that too! I felt like the male was getting aggressive when he was waving his hand. I also didnt appreciate the how the Male associate purposely ignored me! I always shop there, and I've never had a problem with the associates. This was Rare and Petty. I made a Manger by the name of Dreka aware of it. She listened and then gave me a Phone number, but, did not give me his name. I did not see a name tag., Nor, I could not wait, and this is why I'm writing! shouldnt have to go thru something like that. It's simple and its Sad when associates act Stubborn or Petty, and even Malicious, about Food People are Paying for.

On 06/30/2019, I shopped at 7530 S Stony Island like I been doing for over 25 years, but within this time-frame, I have notice a huge different with customer service and the lack of support from the supervisor. On the day mention above, I spent over 200.00 dollars in the store. I left the store and got home and proceeded to put away my groceries, but noticed some of the item were missing. I return to the store with my receipt and stood there for over 30 minutes waiting for security to come back. It took so long, I asked the cashier to call for the supervisor. When the supervisor came he treated me like a common criminal and like I stole the items because the police was there as well.

this is about osco drug prescription refill service
I have not been getting a phone call telling me my prescription is ready for pick up at Osco drug The druggist has been calling to tell me a refill is ready. This is a very important feature of your drugstore refill service I was told it's working on cell phones but not on landline's what is the reason for this can you please fix thank you. If this issue is not fixed I may be forced to take my business elsewhere and I hope many other people feel that way too some people do get sick without medication they are prescribed it must be taken every day around the same time

In our most recent local Jewel advertisement prices are effective Wednesday June 26 through Thursday July 4th. In the Liquor Values section (bottom right of the page) it indicated you could save $30 on the purchase of 2 bottles 1.75 Ltr of Kettle One Vodka with mail-in-rebate. Specially it illustrated the per bottle cost was $32.99 less the $15.00 MFR Mail-In Rebate resulted in a final price of $17.99 each. I stopped in the Jewel at 2501 Schaumburg Road on Saturday afternoon (6/29/19) to purchase the two bottles of Kettle One as outlined in the ad. I went to the customer service desk and asked for the rebate form. The lady at the counter didn't seem to know anything about it but she looked and couldn't any rebate form. I showed her the ad to show her what I was looking for was current and valid. She then called the liquor department and after several minutes they told her they didn't have any rebate forms. The lady at the counter (who was very nice) said there was nothing she could do for me. She said if I stopped by tomorrow (Sunday) and asked for the Liquor Department manager perhaps he could do something. Unfortunately we are scheduled to be out of town and I am unable to stop back to see what the Liquor Manager might be able to do. It is extremely disappointing to not be able to take advantage of this rebate because no one knows where the forms are or when they might get them. I would respectively suggest that you not advertise sales that you are unable to honor and transact.

On various occasion I've been embarrassed and humulated by the meat department manager. On the first occasion I asked him where can I find the crab legs that are on sale. He ignored me and I asked him again, he looked at me with a mean look and said "over there" and pointed towards the wall. After searching for them I again asked him if he can PLEASE tell me where they were he looked at me again and said [censored] over there. I felt embarrassed and left the store. The second time was early morning and no one was at the meat department but him. I was looking for Brats and had no choice but to ask him. So I asked him if he can point me to the direction of the brats. He looked and me and ignored me and continue to stack meat. I asked him again please where are your brats he looked at me and said are you blind. Again I left the store embarrassed and very upset. I decided to go back into the store and get some important groceries. When I reached the cashier I was in tears. I told her my situation and she said, "yeah we get alot of complaints about him". The third and final time was today. I was looking ribs that are on sale and temporarily moved 1 package out the way to reach one that was behind it. He came by me grabbed the package and said "WHAT THE [censored]" and slammed the ribs down. I feel as a consumer and valued customer to the store I shouldn't have to feel threaten and humuliated by your employee especially a manager. Honestly, I felt scared and threaten by this man. He needs a bad anger management and customer service training. Needless to say I left the store in tears. This store is located on Lewis Street in Waukegan Illinois.

Store is selling pies that have been expired for over 1 year. Manager was rude when returning item. I went back to the frozen pie section and noticed more expired pies. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she just rolled her eyes and said that it happened before. How many other items are expired and being sold by this store? In my last order I had wanted 1lb. of fresh cod. It was delivered but upon opening, the next day, it was bad. It smelled horrible and therefore, unusable.
