I went into my local kroger to shop I stood at the deli and was totally ignored after getting the attention of a young man in the back cleaning up he contacted a young lady with a very bad attitude, I went to the service desk and reported her to management an older guy came to assist me, although he was willing to cut the sandwich meat himself he never washed his hands!!! I left and went to publix and spent my money there.

Good Morning; Just want to say that I went on Monday the 11th, 2019 to Kroger Store #439 in Fort Worth Tx 76116. Read full review of Krogernetwork outage
On Saturday Feb. 9th between 12-2pm I was shopping at the Krogers in Harrison Ohio. I had not been been there very long and the lights flashed that appeared there was a power outage but they quickly came back on. This happened a second and same outcome with a quick flash and back on. The store manager did not announce anything over the speaker so everyone in the store continued to shop. I had been in the store for about 1-1 1/2 hours and was about halfway thru my shopping list when an announcement came over the speaker. A store representative stated that the store was closing and everyone would need to bring their cart up to the front and exit the store. My daughter who was shopping with me asked a manager what happened and he stated their network was down and it could be 20 mins or up to 8 hours before it would be restored.
I spent an hour or more of my time in addition driving there to fill my basket with produce, meat ect. and then just leaving without my groceries. As a result I had to spend another afternoon today grocery shopping again.
I was very upset and nothing was said to those shoppers as they will ushered out of the store only than "We apologize"
pharmacy
Hi, I called in (2) Rx on 1/29 and they still were not ready on 2/5. The lady working the pharmacy, drive thru on 2/5 ~5:30p acted like I was the problem for questioning why they weren't ready after so many days and i'm about ready to transfer all Rx away from Kroger or back to the Monroe, MI store where they are more friendly and work faster (there are...

customer service
I appreciate Kroger, I really do. The prices are affordable and near home. But one thing Kroger has to do is remain professional. ...Treat all customers the same. When a customer that happens to be a former employee comes in, DO NOT USE THAT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BUMBARD THEM WITH PERSONAL QUESTIONS. Questions like where do you work? Where do you live? Did...

My family has been shopping at the Richmond Hill, Ga.31324 location since the day it opened and for the most part have always enjoyed shopping here. We purchase all of our groceries, prescriptions and fuel here.
Lately we feel that the level of service we have come to expect has gone down considerably.
1st-Your rain check policy in this store is not known to every customer service person. About 2 weeks, I requested a rain check and was told by Teresa that rain checks are only issued on the last day of your weekly sale and that I could check back daily for the item I want or come on the last day for a rain check. Why even offer rain checks if it is to be so inconvenient and difficult to obtain one. She told me it is because some customers take advantage of this by purchasing the items and also getting rain checks. I agree this is wrong, but I did not do this!
2nd-My wife came to your store on Sunday Jan.20th @ about 8:15Pm and decided to use the self scanner system. She took her time and finished up @ about 10:00Pm, when she went to check out, Sheila simply snatched the scanner from my wife and said, the cut-off to self scan is @ 9:00Pm, WOW! This left my wife in tears after spending all this time scanning and organizing, just to be so rudely halted. Fortunately another cashier noticed this and offered to help scan everything. My wife actually had to bag her own groceries that night (this is pretty common). I feel like maybe a storewide announcement may have been a good idea.
We can shop anywhere but we chose Kroger. I don't like being treated as if I am trying to get over or as if I'm some kind of nuisance. I would like to know that when we come to your store, our business is appreciated. I know not everything will always be perfect but lately it has not been good at all.

Thank You

unable to process transaction
went to pickup prescription which cost $12.20 had $10.00 in cash and tried to use personal check for $2.20 difference Money was in the account and didn't understand why I was denied access Customer representative said this wasn't the first time it has happened to their customers. Very embarrassing and stressful Have dealt there for years and this is first time happened.
need to furnish a reason for denial
Went to Kroger in Forney, spent a long time shopping for groceries. Loved the store until came time to pay for my items. I stand in line a long time, then when its my turn I had to use a pin for my debit card which I don't know d/t never using a pin. I then wrote a check for the amount and it was declined. The cashier asked me to move out of line and call the 800 # for a check writing service which keeps information about consumers and sell this information to merchants to let them know if you are trustworthy of writing checks or not. According to this check service I was not even though my bank account says different. I was on the phone for a good 30 minutes in which I had to ask the manager to get his supervisor several times. He finally did and the nice lady ran my check again and it was again declined. Why does Kroger require a pin for your debit card when nobody else does. I don't think it was handled the way it should have been. I went home after waiting without any groceries. I will never shop at Kroger again and anybody who asks I will tell them what happened. Im going to complain to the consumer report and federal trade commission to get to the bottom of this. Im 60 years old and do not deserve this treatment. what happened to the customer is always right. Weve come a long way. Not happy.
not receiving the 25 cent discount at the kroger gas station even though I have the kroger credit card
I have had a Kroger credit card for months. However, it says on the pump that I was supposed to get 25 cents off at the pump for a year, and this is not happening. Why did I get the card? For this discount.
No one at the pump knows what to do to help. The employee in the store said they are not trained well enough to help the customer at the gas station. This is not fair. I certainly believed the ad on the pump but actually, in this case, it is false advertising.
I have a Kroger credit card because I believed the sign at the pump that says I will get 25 cents off a gallon at the pump, but this is not happening, and the people who work at the gas station do not know why.
This is false advertising!
Also happening to me. I received a letter from Kroger and USBank saying I would get the $.25 extra. I scan, I use the reward of 100 points. I get whatever amount I chose and no extra $.25. Not sure what I am doing “wrong” and like you found, no workers have a clue. It seems like we are being lied to.
pharmacy
On Jan 11, 2019, I requested that my insulin prescription be transferred from Kro 527 (Bellevue, TN) to Kro 843 (BelleMeade). I got a text later that day from BelleMeade Kroger, saying they had a new prescription from my provider and if I wanted it to be fill, to call and confirm. I called, and nobody knew about why I was sent that message, 2 people saying nothing is here for you. I ran completely out of insulin on Jan 16. I called and the Tech said she would get it filled and I could pick it up around 7pm. When I got there, they said my prescription had expired, and I needed to call my Dr's emergency line to get more. The pharmacy was closing at 8pm and I couldn't get in touch with my Dr before they closed. SOMEONE should have let me know that my prescription was expired and I wasn't going to get it before I completely ran out.
employee complaint (reported to union but no response)
Over the past six months or so, I have noticed several adverse changes to kroger's management that have been of concern to me. I have been reluctant to bring them up (as well as several of my coworkers) due to fear of retaliation, but I now need to formally express my concerns because things have not improved after verbally expressing my concerns. I believe...
Read full review of Krogerpick up vs delivery service
I started out using your pick up service but changed to delivery not too long ago because my husband had major surgery & I needed all the help I could get & time I could save. At pick ups I used my coupons but upon my first delivery, the instacart shopper apologized & said that they could not take my coupons. Who knew!?!
I also had a reward check for $25 she could not take (makes sense on the check it was from & payable to kroger.)
This all may seem like simple logic to you, but I don't work at a grocery store nor have I studied the way coupons are utilized/transacted... I bet there's a very good reason why things from your end have to be done this way. But... Just to make sure... I called after that delivery, hoping the information from instancart was wrong because I use quite a few coupons - I actually need the savings & if I really couldn't use paper coupons on deliveries I would need to rethink delivery service & go back to pick up or shopping myself.
I hate grocery shopping & boy was I happy when the representative I spoke to at kroger said that instancart was wrong - that they could, in fact, take paper coupons. It was no real loss that first time because I would've only saved a few dollars &, the check could be used anytime.
Today, I thought it would be wise to just double check on that information because I had almost $20 in savings with paper coupons & if I was told different than before I wasn't going to give up that amount of savings. I called to get a back up "yes" (better 2 people telling me the coupons could be used) before I placed my large order.
Today I called kroger & spoke to "carolyn" (number on the website where I was ordering) & I said "carolyn I want to verify the policy on using paper coupons for delivery because i've had 2 different answers... One from kroger & one from instagram." I told her the story & she assured me that yes I can use my coupons on deliveries. She said the last person that delivered was wrong & that, the kroger rep was right & she emphatically said yes you can use your paper coupons..."I asked her name & if she was positive." I told her I did have a $25 gift card & I realized that I could not use that but I did not want to place my order for delivery if I could not use the coupons because I did not want to lose almost $20 in savings. She said "absolutely they will take them & they will also take the gift card."
So... What are we going to do about all these issues... One after another?
Obviously instancart & kroger are not on the same page & your representatives are apparently the party in the wrong?! I am paying you... Kroger... You're getting my money & at this point i've lost quite a bit.
Both women who delivered to my home were delightful, caring, friendly, & they seem to know their jobs & are very conscientious. Today (meagan felt awful about this but she couldn't do anything about it.) I didn't take this out on her & I told her the story. This was not the first time she's heard this same story!
Today, I ordered almost $200 worth of groceries & expected to use my $25 gift card & the paper coupons. I can always use the gift card, but I purchased items because I had coupons & was told absolutely they would be accepted but this time it's quite a bit more than the last.
I don't know if you value my business but look me up with my plus card or whatever, & take a look at how often I shop & how much I spend in in your stores. Life is busy, problems are frustrating & my time is limited. I'm okay with mistakes but I did my due diligence & double checked on the information I had & was told yes they must take your coupons & your "check/gift card" not just once but twice!
I am the only caretaker for my husband. I'm 64 years old & if something has to be done, taken care of... I'm the one who has to do it. I don't have this kind of time or money to waste. I pay extra for service because its supposed to save me time & energy! These experiences with (not instancart) but with kroger are frustrating, stressful, expensive, & major time wasters!
How about stepping up & correcting this - I know you're a giant & making money is your business... But must it be done in a way that causes individuals like myself to go through all this nonsense?
I live on the westside of cincinnati - parts of it are seedy & parts are middle class. We have a wal-mart (with the highest crime rate of all the wal-marts in the u.S.) & there's an aldi & a target. The kroger store that is closest to me makes me want to scream! There's no assistance, the self checkout lines are ridiculous... It's a lucky day if there are 2 human cashiers but well... No, because the food in your cart could spoil before you get out of the store!
Then what...? I stand there thinking about leaving my cart but then again... Stuck! I've spend lot of time shopping & if I leave, at some point in the near future, i'll have to come back & do it again.
I'm ranting - & this time you're it! I apologize if you're just as frustrated working there as I am with being a customer.
Customer service has generally become a oxymoron - everyone I talk to agrees. I held out hope for amazon & kroger & lands end - too bad lands end doesn't sell groceries because they are the lone ranger when it comes to customer service these days.
If I were you & I read this email I would laugh. I know... I know. But i'm not nuts... I'm a fairly normal person who has ran out of patience. I choose not to remain meek & mild right now because this is insanity...
It's like that movie years ago with the famous line, "i'm mad as hell & i'm not going to take it anymore!"
Make it right, kroger... I've heard this & other stories anyone & everyone when this subject comes up.
If this is actually instancart rather than kroger, please respond so I can chew out the right person/place/entity! I don't want this book to go to waste...
Btw this is the third time i've sent this terribly long message. The first time it went to instancart - the second time I sent it through the link... Now i'm sending it via email...
Is someone going to respond &/or do anything about this mess?
Thank you...

the manager at customer service
I had went to customer service at Kroger on James Campbell Boulevard Columbia Tennessee 38401 to cash a check which I do every single week sometimes twice a week where the person working the cash register was extremely and very rude and hateful with a very bad attitude told me she would not cash my check so I ask to speak to a manager when then proceeded to tell me she was the manager wouldn't nobody do anything for me for me to leave and not come back that they will not be cashing my check now they cash my check every single week for the last 2 years I was very disappointed and at all with the way I was treated I will never be back to Kroger again
kroger brand seltzer water
I went to open a can of your seltzer water - Cranberry Lime Flavor and it exploded out of the top last month. The noise was so loud that I had ringing in my ears for the rest of the day. I thought that a bomb went off and felt lucky that my newborn just happened to be in my husbands arms instead of my own at the time. I regularly drink seltzer water of various brands and this has never happened to me. I am seriously afraid to purchase any more of this product made by Kroger.
Kroger resolved my issue. Got back to me regarding my fuel points after I emailed their executive team and began posting negative reviews. Thank you Kroger for hearing me and giving me my points.
I did not receive my 4x fuel points with purchase. Customer service has been awful. Finally, they have just stopped responding to me.
pineapple tidbits
I Beverly Slater still trying to reach out to whom I need to about purchasing a package of pineapple tidbits and a roach leg was in container I was eating from. Here is a couple of people whom I have spoke with on the issue Katherine B. Knox, Shelby Riley, Kristal Howard, Teresa Dickerson and sent email to Rodney McMullen CEO of Kroger and I don't think any have took the issue serious at all but I will continue until I reach the person I need too speak with. I was informed to send leg to Pacific Coast Producers/Travelers to view it broke as I was putting into container so I still have other part once viewed Pamela Mee called me and said it look like a stem from product I did inform her at that time it is a piece of roach leg and the company need to get another viewer because I am sueing for $20 Hundred Thousand Dollars for having roach leg in food I purchased. This message really goes to Kroger company where I bought product and Kroger can contact Pacific Coast Producers who viewed roach leg and said it was a piece of stem by Pamela Mee.

parking
I visit your store weekly. Up to four times a week. I have lived in my house nearby for over 20 years and always parked in the same spot. I can not park there now because of the 8 empty (always empty) spaces for your pull up service. Why do I have to walk through the rain and sleet to park far away to give the space to no one. This chaps my arse everytime I go there now and as a result I will likely change where I shop. #makethe employeeswalk further. They are getting paid while I am giving you my pay stub...today.

lack of shopping baskets at entry
Today, 12/29/18, 1:30 pm, AGAIN despite numerous requests there are no shopping baskets at the far West entrance.
