inaccurate prescription and price
Called and spoke with Kroger pharmacy associate around 9:15am on Sunday June 3rd, 2018. Kroger Rx employee stated 3 items ready with a monthly supply of $49ish. Asked again for specifics of price for the month. She advised of obvious price changes of the monthly supply. (Money was loaned to me because I'm in the last semester of my bachelors nursing program and will go on for my nurse practitioner). Picked up Rx around 1400 Sunday via drive-thru window paid the $49ish for the three monthly supply scripts. Around 1530 Sunday checked my bottles and the prescription I paid the $49 contained 6 pills, not a 30-day supply as stated prior. Called the pharmacist and she refused to honor the other 24 pills. (As if I was negligent for not checking their work). Advised her I spoke with someone in that dept at 9:15 am. She spoke with the employee and she denied the morning conversation and price quote. (If I wasn't given a price what was the point of calling, and how would I know how much money I needed to borrow). She spoke with the employee and she denied the morning conversation and quote. Pharmacist again refused to correct the issue, per her she believed the employee. Pharmacist left me with 2 option either bring the 6 pills back for a refund or pay the difference to get my prescription corrected. Photo of the incorrect script is provided below and home phone number is [protected]. I do request the quoted price to be honored and my monthly amount corrected. No one is responsible to double check the work behind the counters of drug stores. This is why we spend many weeks or years in specialized programs to provide proper information, adequate information, and hazardless information. As a healthcare provider and as someone who will have privileges to prescribe to her patients medications, as well as suggesting pharmacy suppliers such as Kroger pharmacy this is unacceptable. (You should be able to notice the inconsistency with the receipts and bottles).
management
Hello, I am proud to say that I am a dedicated Kroger shopper. I frequent the one in Hebron most often, The staff there is so nice and I say hi to many of them. Stephanie is wonderful, Sandy and Tony are both great!
My complaint comes from an incident I over heard when shopping on Sunday between a manager and an associate. The manager was having a conversation with this associate and I couldn't believe my ears. This manager called this associate an "Idiot"!
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I am a true believer of professionalism and respect...neither of which this manager possessed. How in the world is it ok for a manager representing a well known company to speak to someone in that manner, let alone on the business floor? I was applaud, I walked straight over and ask for both of their names. Joe is the "manager" and the young boy he was speaking to was named Brendan. Please tell me, that Kroger does not endorse such behavior! This boy was so embarrassed that he immediately left the store. I felt it necessary to bring this to your attention rather than expose such behavior to social and other types of media. Joe is NOT a good fit for his current position.
kroger frozen corn on the cob
I purchased your frozen corn on the cob the other day UPC 011110870780. I have always purchased Green Giant brand previously but since it was not carried in my Frys store I thought I would give this a try. This was a pure waste of $2.79. My husband will eat almost all corn, fresh or frozen but this product he took two bites and said, no more. This corn was tough, flavorless and tasted like it was just very old corn. I will have to find another store that carries Green Giant brand because I will never buy this again. This confirmed my suspicions about store brand food. It is just no where near up to par.
unethical behaviour
06/1/2018 the supervisor of click list (tamara grissom) had known for two weeks that I had lost my full time status and didn't bother to inform me. There was a discuss on vacation time with another co worker and I was informed then in front of other co workers. Very unprofessional. This same supervisor lets another co worker show up late every day and says its not her responsibility to do anything about it. It's his time. This same employee after showing up late goes to lunch after only being there an hour. There is a click list lead brandi evans that goes out to smoke when ever she wants and is not made to clock in or out. Like I said this is very unprofessional.. It has been brought to the supervisors attention with not a thing done about it.
several complaints lately
Dear customer service - kroger
I have never made a complaints about kroger and shop there several times a week for years until now.
(1) changes in location of products - very confusing to shoppers. I was in the store again yesterday; and really I heard 5-customer while in the store complaining about how dis-functional the store is now. It does not flow easy.
(2) new system of giving you a digital meter to scan your groceries and placing in a bag yourself is not easy for older people. I was watching them friday and sunday trying to use these. Get rid of them please; long term it may save on employees but customers are going to get frustrated and go somewhere else. This is no customer service.
(3) so many self check out lines out in?
If you look at the number of people that used the self check out lines prior to putting in the 15-18 self check outs now. You will notice that people like to speak to the cashiers and ask questions sometime; if they don't then go to the self check out lines. Krogers is now shoving this down the consumers throats
After they have spent hours shopping in the store.
Make it a pleasure shopping for your products; not a job.
Check out publix the way they present.
Krogers was doing such a good job? What has changed; have you changed marketing people or what?
This is not being considerate to the consumer and makes me want to drive further to other stores now so I am not so frustrated.
(4) halo tangerines
What is going on? Every week I buy 2-bages of halos?
The last two weeks I have had to purchase "clemetine" tangerines and both times they were green and sourer?
Then I see a sign that you are no longer carrying domestic tangerines but imports.
Not a good thing kroger!
I think you guys are making mistakes trying to improve you bottom lines.
The gas points I receive are great and encourages me to buy more to get the gas points which I have been.
However, find myself going to limit going there now; just because of being frustrated.
I shop at 3-kroger stores in the rankin and madison county, mississippi areas.

Donald truett

bakery fresh goodness donuts
I purchased a package of Bakery Fresh Goodness Donuts on June 1, 2018 at the Thornton Rd Kroger Lithia Springs, Ga area...as I'm eating the donuts, I started to choke on something and it was some glass. I have been a valued customer for years and this could have caused serious harm to me and my small children... I feel the need for some compensation per this was your error.
I purchased a fresh package of Bakery Fresh Goodness Donuts on June 1, 2018 at Kroger in the Lithia Springs Ga area..Upon eating the donuts I began to choke on something..As I'm gagging, some glass was spit up the was inside of these donuts. I was also feeding these donuts to my younger children that could have been harmed as well. I have been a valuable customer for years and feel a compensation is substantial per this was no fault of mine.
pharmacy
Hi, I arrived at Kroger Pharmacy at 6pm the other day and got in line with two other people. The pharmacists then told me to get out of line because they were closed, despite continuing to serve the other customers in line. I was there to pick up my medication that usually takes 5 minutes. They were incredibly rude to not serve me while serving other customers that had been in line not a minute after me. I currently go to the Kroger Pharmacy in Richmond, KY. I believe that if they are still serving customers, they should still be accepting them until they are finished with the line, just like any other job. I hope this is talked about with your employees so they are not lazy and refuse to serve customers because it is a minute past closing.
check payment
I spent 2 hours shopping with about 20 minutes standing in line on Sunday 6-3-2018 at Kroger located at 5965 Hoover Road Grove City, Ohio 43123. I understand this is a busy time for the store and the wait in line was to long but understandable. I have paid by check at this location for my large grocery purchases the entire time I have shopped with Kroger (please check my purchase record/Kroger Card). Upon check out my check was not accepted and the store required another form of identification. I was the told they would "Suspend my order" and go to customer service and stand in line again to show my additional identification in order to make the purchase. I then asked to speak with a manager. The clerk did page a manager and the manager did not respond to speak to me. A manager did call the clerk and I was told there was nothing they could do to help me even after my request to speak to a manager. I then requested the entire order be cancelled and my check and coupons be returned. The clerk seemed to be baffled and wanted to know what they were to do with the items I had selected. I stated Kroger is refusing the sale that I am attempting purchase and want to force me to spend more time and inconvenience to complete the purchase. The clerk then stated he had deposited the coupons in locked drawer and only a manager could open the drawer. I then again stated I wanted the order cancelled and the return of my coupons. A "manager" was then called and responded. I again stated my concerns and was told this is a new company policy and she could not help me. My coupons were returned and my check was returned to me. I then left the store in total amazement as to my experience with Kroger.
I have made my current grocery purchases at Meijer located at 2811 London Groveport Road Grove City Ohio 43123 just minutes from your location.
My purchase was over $300.00 prior to coupons which in normal for my full grocery shopping (check records).
I have been told that these complaints strike on deaf ears and upper management does not read/nor care about them. This I find difficult to believe but I will see for myself.
If this is a "New Policy" your customer should have been notified in order give to consumer the option to continue the relationship with Kroger or find a new grocery store.in addition to not being informed of a policy change that directly affected how I've always shopped at your location, it's also very embarrassing to be arguing with your staff for the first time in twenty years.
I feel I've been loyal to a fault, even through your disaster of a remodel, however that loyalty wasn't matched by your staff today. Your business will survive, but not with my patronage.
A once loyal customer,
David J. Magaw

Restrooms @ kroger 800 monroe st, nashville, tn 37208
06/03/2018 8:30 am kroger experience. I spend thousands of dollars a month at this store.in all my traveling I have never experience a restroom in the condition as I did this morning. This store should be closed down by nashville metro for health codes violations for the conditions in the bathroom alone which is directly next to the produce department. I'm absolutely horrified by this experience. Additionally it wasn't just the men's room. The women's was equally disgusting as reported by my companion.
Desirable resolution would be to clean the bathrooms!
gas pumps
Arrived 9:50pm 5-31-18 @ 4407 central ave hot springs at, to fill gas using fuel points with several cars still at pumps but cashier at window says too late even with c/c purchase.when I asked what they close(thinking 10 but at least 9:55)she would only answer back ("you're fine")(what ever that means)so there goes my monthly points wasted.this has never happened in all the years since they've offered gas.
viva paper towel
I'm a frequent Shopper at Kroger and on May 31st I went to Kroger to purchase some items as usual. I had coupons with some of my items and the cashier would only let me use one when the coupons specifically said one coupon per item it did not say one coupon per purchase per day she had a very nasty attitude she snatched the bag out of my hand I ended up not getting my purchase because of her attitude which I think was really wrong it was at the Griffin Kroger and the cashiers name was helenia oh something of that nature. I'll try hard to follow the rules with my coupons but the way she treated me was downright rude and very unappreciative . I would like to see something done about this
imvu gift cards
You seem to have stopped carrying imvu gift cards, and I would really like to know why. I'm a little tired of my favorite things being discontinued by faceless corporate decisions. They were fast selling from what I saw because I often had to go to a different store. You seem to be pushing me toward another corporate store, say Wal-Mart?
I'm stubborn, but I can tell when my business is no longer valued. I think I will start doing my grocery shopping at Wal-Mart. Maybe they will put you out of business soon with my help convincing my friends.
thieving and theft
I, a currently employed employee of the Hinton Kroger store (743), in addition to several other employees, have observed and informed management of a fellow employee stealing large amounts of alcohol from our store. It has been over a week since we told them, and management has yet to take either legal or corporate action, both of which should be mandatory for such a happening. Some form of action needs to be taken because this it's ridiculous that a thief can work just as many hours as the rest of us after stealing hundreds of dollars of company products
customer service
On Sunday May 27 2018 at approximately 5:55 pm my daughter walked into the Applewood pay less in Anderson, indiana. She walked up to the courtesy desk and at that time there was no one in line and no one waiting. There was a woman about 45 years of age with short hair, fairly thin speaking with 2 other girls younger than her. One was black and one was white. And no one was wearing a name tag which seems to be the norm there. When my daughter walked up to the desk to conduct some business the 45 year old asked her if that was the way she was suppose to come up to the desk. She said and I quote " do you see that sign?" "what does it say?" Then she escorted my daughter to where the " entrance" sign was to show her the proper way. I didn't know it was the policy of kroger representatives to scold the customers for not following the little lines. Or that you would only be helped at the courtesy desk if you walked up to it in the proper way according to the person behind it. The rudeness of this person was intolerable. whatever happened to the customer is always right?. I have been a customer of pay less and then kroger for many years. My daughter is an easy going person but she is not a child. When she told me what this woman had done I was very angry because this had embarrassed her and hurt her feelings. I have found that in the past couple of years of going into the Applewood pay less that it's not just one who is rude and abusive to the customers but many who work there. Since these people are representatives of Kroger I will hold kroger responsible for their behavior because it's in their training when they 're hired. I'm sure you have cameras in the store and since you've been given the date and time you should have no problem pulling the footage up. If this is the kind of people that kroger is hiring I won't be shopping there anymore. This woman should be fired for her hostile and abusive behavior toward a customer. She is only going to get kroger sued for emotional damage. What she did was completely unecessary. If something isn't done about her I'm going to write a letter to the corporate office maybe someone there will be more interested. Thank you for reading this.
food/deli department
Denise...I when To The Deli Department for Lunch today...I ordered a lunchplate...As I began to eat it I noticed something in my throat, So I regerertated this object, it was metal...There it was a stapler in the food...This could have cause damage to my throat lineing, ..or any other organs. I did notify the Manager and verbally file a complaint with her immetately.
customer service
The last several times I have gone to get a Western Union from customer service at the Kroger on Holmes Avenue and Michigan Street in Indiana in the city of Indianapolis their customer service is closed when it should be open if they're that short staff they need to train more people to work at customer service it is absolute bull that I can't go and get a Western Union right down the street from my house when I have an emergency and nobody else can get any kind of customer service half the time what is wrong with them I want the number for corporate so that I can let them know that they're not running that store correctly
unhelpful store manager - 9025 highway 64, tn 38002
I had purchased a wok which after one use was totally destroyed and rusted. I had lost my receipt but I had paid for it with my Kroger card and American Express. When I returned it a week later the customer service tried for 20 minutes to get into the computer to find the receipt but computer was "too slow". She was courteous and helpful. She called the store Manger Mr. Wilson for help. He told her that it could not be done and never bothered to come down from his throne to try to help in the situation. They could have easily found the receipt using my Kroger card or American Express card. The product was still on sale and I even picked one up from their shelf for them to scan in case they needed the bar code.
I gave up on $20 and moved on since Mr. Wilson could not be bothered to help his customers.
Lousy customer service on the Manager's part.

officer saylor
I had a terrible experience at Krogers in Surrey Square in Norwood, OH. My friend Danny Hodge was stopped by Officer Saylor after purchasing a package of meat and seasoning salt on May 29, 2018 around 10pm. She proceeded to follow Danny to my car and called the Norwood police. She claims she did not accuse him of stealing. In the presence of Norwood Police and other customers and staff, she rewinded the tape on the register in the presence of Norwood Police which proved that he did not steal his items. She proceeded to still talk to Danny until the Norwood Officer allowed us to leave. Employee Robin told Saylor that she trusted me (Lauren White) because she had seen me before and that I usually dressed nicely. This experience caused Danny and I to have anxiety. This is not my only negative experience with Krogers this year. Earlier this year, the Krogers on Kenard Avenue allowed someone to return a $530.00 that I purchased for my rent. I still have not received a refund after several months. I am looking for Kroger to rectify both of these situations expeditiously. Please contact me at [protected] or by email at Lauren.[protected]@gmail.com. A link to my Facebook reaction: https://www.facebook.com/ministerlauren.white/videos/1891655130866477/
I was told that the Manager was not on duty and had left at 10pm. They would not provide a receipt for the purchased items. I was not given the General Manager Amanda’s full name because her employee’s claimed not to know it.

An employee refused to let me into the store. I said what it's only 1154 and he then told me that the registers were shut down.. I could clearly see people at the self checkout machines so I told him that and that's when he said. "the manager wasn't accepting any more customers."
I just got off work and I couldn't grab my groceries.
There was a girl that was walking up to the door at the same time both of us were turned away.

Side note:
I've been in there when they announced over the intercom the store is closed. I always look at my iphone and it is always 5-6 minutes until midnight. This is something relatively new and has been occurring regularly for the past month or so.
I work late at night so i'm in there late at night. For someone to turn away a customer before the store is even closed is quite ridiculous.
