I have a 2013 Nissan Altima that I purchased 3 years ago. Just recently on January 22, 2018, I was on the highway going about 60-70 /MPH when my car began to shake and hesitate. I was able to merge all the way over to the off ramp when my car shut off. I was told that the CVT on the 2013 Nissan Altima's have a glitch and a piece that should have been recalled is still in my car. As I am traveling with my 4 year old you can image my rage knowing in the mist of rush hour traffic we could have been seriously hurt. I am now being told that I have to come up with $4, 000 to get this young car fixed that only has 96, 000 miles on it. This is not acceptable for any company to have happen to their cars. I am requesting assistance with this maintenance issue as I have read multiple reviews and complaints and see this is common in this vehicle. As a company, Nissan needs to recall this piece and fix these vehicles as most of them are used for families!
car negotiations
I just had the WORST car buying experience of my life at Reed Nissan on West Colonial in Orlando. I have purchased over 40 cars in my lifetime and I've had my share of good and bad experiences. I know what to expect. The managers interacted with would the most rude, disrespectful, and discourteous individuals I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have purchased Nissan vehicles from Sutherlin and Universal. They were both much better to deal with. The advertised deal brought me in and I knew there would be fine print which made the advertisement a little sketchy but regardless the last two managers I dealt with there there are not worth ANY DEAL.Avoid Reed Nissan!
nissan juke (2013) cvt transmission fault
I bought a 2013 model Nissan Juke Sport Pack A/T 1.6 at 2014 May from a local distributor Nissan in Istanbul with such an expectation and love. We really liked the design. Really enjoyed driving this car until now.
I also learned that my guarantee ended at 10 Jan 2017 which is should be 25ish May 2017 because I've received the car key from Distributor of Nissan at 27 May 2014, how is this even possible? If we looked what their told me, my guarantee ended after 2, 5 years which should be 3 year. What a luck i didnt get this fault in my 3 year guarantee period!
Today its 3, 5 years old and @36600Km. It has no crash or something else. Well cared car and most of the time was spent in car park. We didn't even smoke in it. All services done at official local distributor, even before reaching its normal km. I even bought all my insurances from same distributor. But today when i go to service to make yearly control, i've learned that CVT Transmission is needs a repair . Such an disappointment for us and we are very sad now. its cost simply too much.
I also learned that its not an user error. But it is not support by guarantee. We wrote to the Nissan HQ in Turkey but they rejected it. Its just passed 6 month and gave this much fault. Total cost of this service approx. 2100$(CVT is approx 1500$) if i repair everything including CVT Transmission.
Please consider our situation. That much fault is not normal for such an well cared, accident-free and low used, low km car. This repair also has no guarantee for not repeating same fault.
Due to this fault our cars market value decreased, I may be sell it to certain amount before this fault but know i need to pay for repair and have to decrease my market value of my car.
I would like to kindly ask that at least taking care of my CVT Transmission error as in guarantee and change/repair. I'm also ok with for paying workmanship.
the front bumper on my 2015 nissan rogue is coming off.
I just purchased a Nissan Rogue from Arrowhead Cadillac in Peoria, Arizona. The car was bought used and had a few hundred miles left of factory miles warranty left. We had to take the car in for some seal belt
sensor problem right after we bought it to the Nissan Dealer in Peoria
Arrowhead. We told the service advisor about the bumper coming off and he said some of the clips maybe broken. He told us Nissan will only fix body part problems only for the first 12000 miles it was not covered under
the warranty. Am I suppose to pay for defects on my Nissan because your
body parts on the Nissan start falling off after 12000 miles. I know of other Nissan owners that have had the same problem and had their bumper fall off while driving from Calif. I would like to see what can be done to fix my bumper before any damage is done. Please contact to see what can be
done to remedy this issue before I really hit the complaint lines.

2009 maxima
I recently took my maxima to Tupelo, Ms Nissan dealership for a dead miss in my car! They done a whole fuel system cleaning & replaced spark plugs charging me $264! Called me and said my car was ready! The very next day it starting back doing the same thing! I called them back, they said bring it back and they were very sorry!
Well they told me that they wouldn't keep my car 4 days this time, but will get it taken care of! Well this time they keep it 5 days telling me it would probably b best I would just get something else, because my cam gear was sticking not allowing my car to advance to my other gears! They asked me how much do I care for my car cause it would be $1800 dollars to fix it! They recommend me to talk 2 a salesman and see what it was worth! I said NO, I will jus come pick my car up, n would like to be refunded for my $264 dollars, because all that they done I told them I had already had done! I told them my car is in that same condition when I brought it to a supposedly be a professional dealership and your not going to refund my money? They said NO! It was best I trade it!

2011 nissan rogue cvt transmission defect
After a phone call to Nissan, I was told to take my 2011 Nissan rogue with 50000 miles with cvt transmission problem to the dealership for diagnosing the problem and they built a case number on that. When I contacted the Nissan and told them about the diagnostic problem that was found by the dealer, they said that they will get back with me in a day. after two days waiting, I got a phone call that they can not do the work. They know they have lots of problem and issues with this defect design cvt transmissions, even the service tech at the dealership admitted they are having issues with that, but Nissan is refusing to deal with it. Why would they tell you to take the car to their dealership and build a case and make you wait for three days and then refuse to fix it. Are they blind to see how many complaints are there on internet about their transmissions or are they simply trying to ignore them and get away with it.
I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue and my transmission went out at 42k miles and now 3 years later it needs to be replaced at 111k miles. Was not covered by warranty because I'm 2 months out of warranty. I'm not happy with Nissan at all. This is crazy my car should need a 3rd transmission at 111K miles!
I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue as well and the CVT went out.
questionable practice -
I went to Nissan Auto Repair on Marsh Road in East Rochester NY. I called in advance and showed up to drop my vehicle off for repair that morning. I advised the Service Manager that the check engine light was on and the car needed to be inspected and would not pass until that was cleared. Some how that translated to let's inspect the car that we already know will fail and remove her inspection sticker then after we do a diagnostic that is inconclusive charge her for all and she can pick it up and figure it out. Ultimately they did not charge me for the diagnostic they charged me for the inspection they should not have completed after I expressed my anger.
When I went to pick it up the culprit that caused the issue was no where to be found. There was no apology from this crew - Only a snarky 'have a nice day' as I stormed out. I completed a survey expressing my concerns and called and left a message for the manager and there was never a call back. Curious if a male would have experienced the same level of service. Would a male's service request been dismissed as easily ? I sincerely doubt it
wheel assembly
My entire wheel came off my car while driving on the highway. This was the most scariest night of my life trying to maintain control of my vehicle. The tire flew off in Front of me with the wheel bearing included. How can Nissan make a part that causes an entire wheel to come off the car. This was very dangerous for me and could have caused me to lose my life. I have went on a few forums for Nissan and have seen this has happened on many cars manufactured by Nissan. I am very unhappy with my situation and now I have to await an adjuster to see if the impact to the ground cause my axle to bend or break. I hope to hear a reply back with Nissan, because this is unacceptable quality.
online pizza ordering
I ordered 8 pizzas on November 8th at 3:27 pm for it to be delivered on November 9th at 11:30 am. At 11:45 am I started calling [protected] to see about when the pizza would be delivered. I was put on this crazy dialer for 20 minutes then transferred to only be disconnected. Then I called back and was transferred again only to set on hold for 5 minutes and 42 seconds to be disconnected again. After the 3rd time of this happening I called another store to see if that manager would help me. I had 21 people very hungry at this point. The manager of another location was able to make the pizza but we had to pick them up in 20 minutes. The store does not deliver to my location. We all had a 1:00 pm meeting and by the pizza actually got here we only had 20 minutes to eat and get to our meeting. This kind of service can not happen. We order a lot of pizza from your company and to received this kind of service is unacceptable. I will be voicing my concerns on your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I am attaching my email confirmation of an order I never received.
Sincerely a customer who will think twice before I ordered from Pizza Hut again.
nıssan car problem
My name is Erhan Kaplan.I am from Kocaeli -Turkey. I am writing this e-mail to inform you about my problem with the car which I bought from your agent in Kocaeli, Turkey.
I bought a Nissan Qasqai from Yilmaz Oto (Nissan Oto Agent in Kocaeli) in 2012. It was 1.6 motors and black adition model. I have had all the maintenance done in Nissan-authorized maintenance department up until now . I began to hear some strange noises from transmission mechanism of my Qasqai in September, 2017. I immediately took my car to the authorized maintenance service in Kocaeli. They told me that the problem was in transmission mechanism and when I searched about the origin of this problem, a many maintenance department expressed that it was manufacturing defect. I asked Yilmaz Oto for compensation of my incorrectly-manufactured car. However, they rejected my request as the warranty period has expired. The only thing they offered me was to buy a new car with its new price which was so surely unacceptable as they offered so low price for my current car.So they did not help me with my problem. When I bought this car I had chosen Nissan because I thought I would not have any problem with a Japanese-made car.
I would like you to help me with this problem.
Yours sincerely,

back window glass in a 2017 nissan centra
We bought a 2017 Nissan Centra. During driving in the night (dark conditions), the back window glass scatters the lights from the headlights of the cars behind, causing vision problems. When I drive the car during night, I saw two "big poles made of headlights" from the headlights of the car behind in the rear mirror (up diver's seat). When there are many cars behind you on highway in night, there are all the headlights in the rear mirror, it is hard for you to see the cars behind you.
2013 nissan rogue
I am very unhappy with the way you handled my case. First and foremost, Nissan of Van Nuys replaced the rear transfer case on our 2013 Nissan AFTER they had "diagnosed" it to needing new tires, Your "certified" nissan dealer Service dept misdiagnosed my car, trying to sell me 4 new tires instead of fixing the broken component in my car. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs for them to assist me in fixing our vehicle. We were under warranty when Nissan of Van Nuys replaced our transfer case; after this replacement our car has not been the same; it shakes severely when you brake on the freeway, the steering wheel shakes, and there is a large vibration sound coming when you accelerate. These issues aren't normal, there is something significantly wrong with our car. Nissan of Van Nuys and Nissan of Mission Hills FAILED to properly inspect my vehicle, they cant simply drive it around the block to diagnose a problem that occurs on the freeway. Neither dealer has given the proper inspection or taken my service issues seriously. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs for their department to hold these service people at dealers accountable of their mistakes and their lack of proper inspection and diagnoses. If my car is giving me serious mechanical problems on the freeway how in the world would they be able to diagnose the problem by taking it merely around the block? Nissan has the HORRIBLE customer service, Nissan has a HORRIBLE service department, and Nissan is just a flat out HORRIBLE owner experience. I cant get the either dealer to properly inspect my vehicle to fix the major issues we are facing. Please Help.

@woipinleong, Car brokers are illegal in Malaysia. Nissan Tan Chong only recognize their own sales advisor as a person who can sell new Nissan cars. You have no right to complain.
2015 nissan rogue sv stock # 17519a
After spending 2 hours at Elite Nissan of Bergenfield and agreed with a 2015 Nissan Rogue SV stock # 17519A for $17, 490 in all cash, the price increased for cleaning of the car for $750. After I told them to remove the price that I do not want the car cleaned, they refused to remove the cleaning price. The salesperson is nice. But I've never seen a manager who can scam a customer like this. I hope the owner takes this into consideration and fire the manager in charge of the dealership.
nissan rogue 2011
Nissan Extended the CVT Warranty for these vehicles up to 2010, what about people who would fall under this extended warranty with a 2011 Nissan Rouge. I am now out of pocket $3600 for a new CVT unit. Obviously They never fixed the problems with the CVT in vehicles after 2010. Not uncommon from what I have been seeing online about this problem, many consumers with a 2011 Nissan Rouge have been experiencing CVT failures.
nissan turkey
Dear sir, i am an owner of a 2011 model Nissan Micra in Turkey. As i am the first owner all the services are made by the Authorized Service Center of Nissan. İ guess on the date of first periodic service i told them there is something wrong with CVT but they said it is normal.
1-2 months ago suddenly the transmission light turned on on the dashboard. As i went to the service they told me that it is a failure in the transmission and it needs to be repaired or changed. But we all know that it is a mistake of Nissan itself. And we have several cases in Turkey about the CVT transmission in the same models of Nissan. So normally Nissan Turkey must have replaced my Transmission with a new one. But they did not!
So i went on repairing it. They sent my CVT transmission from Antalya to İstanbul for repair. As i ask them about my CVT they said it is lost in Cargo!
Please advise...

Something similar happened to me. I had just purchased the vehicle and within a month the air conditioner went out, however they did replace the product. But since then i've had multiple problems with the vehicle and i have to keep taking it back to the service department.

options contract for dealer financing
On August 5, 2017, we went to Dublin Nissan at Dublin, CA and bought a 2017 Rogue SUV. The Finance Manager gave us an options contract for dealer financing at 4.99% for 72 months. This allowed us to take delivery of the car with the understanding of securing owner financing within five days. On August 6, I applied to Bank of America Auto Financing dept to a loan for the purchase price of the car $33168. I got a letter of approval 48 months at 2.84% from Bank of America on August 7, 2017. Per advice of the BofA loan officer, I went to see the dealership on August 8, 2017. The finance manager told me he cannot take the letter of approval, he needs a check from BofA. On August 8, I talked to the BofA Loan Officer and asked for a check. The loan officer told me that BofA works with the dealership and BofA will send the check to dealership. At my request, the loan officer made a call to the dealership and talked to the management of the Dublin Dealership. I was told that everything has been worked out with the dealership. Next day on August 9, I went to the dealership to see the finance manager. He said everything has been taken care.
Several days later, I got a statement from BofA that my loan terms are 4.99% for 72 months instead of 2.84% for 48 months. I was surprised to note that loan terms have been changed by the dealership without my knowledge. I talked to BofA loan officer, and he told me that he cannot do anything as this point.
My complaints are as follows:
1. The deceptive practice of options contract where the dealership placed the loan at a higher interest rate causing more interest payments.
2. Inadequate disclosure of the options contract.
3. No resolution from the dealership about my complaint.

The Ft. Wayne, IN dealer is running a con. They said if they could not make a deal
They would give you a free oil change. Be there twice on this deal and only laughed at me when the deal could not be made. No oil change...
Contacted Nissan Consumer affairs about this, was told that because dealer is an independent business nothing they could do. It seems Nissan is in on this con job. I filed a complaint with BBB. Dealer lied in there response to BBB. Again, Nissan corp
Condoned this action. Have had 3 Nissans. No more Nissans. Beware of this worthless company!
cvt transmission
I have a Nissan Rogue 2013 with 118, 000 miles on it and I am being told I have to replace the CVT and get a cooling kit. This became apparent when traveling this past weekend my car would not accelerate and the rpm's would not go above 2. So I was traveling down the highway going no faster than 65 and falling much slower when I would try to get up a hill. I had no idea what was going on. Upon research I see that this is not the first time this happened. Long history of unacceptable CVT longevity. Why would a company continue to use something that has proven it is not up to standards and if there is a helpful remedy, as the cooling kit, why not install it to begin with. I have taken my car to the same Nissan service department since I got it regularly and no one said anything about replacing the fluid or anything else to prevent this from happening. Nor did the check engine light come on and I have had my car in the shop when that has happen for only a leaf laying on something. Very upset with the cost and the inconvenience. I was thinking about trading my car for a Pathfinder but now I have second thoughts. Guess I should have done more homework before purchasing a Nissan.
Hi Jane I have 2014 Nissan Sentra SV with around 94000 miles on it and about 3 weeks ago I started having the same problem with the car it wouldn't accelerate until the RPM was between the 2 an 3 mark I ended up sending the car back to the dealership I purchased it from since I only have had this car 3 months I was told it's the Transmission on the car and I to pay 1500 of the 3000 for the transmission I'm really considering a law suit on Nissan because they no about the problem an not doing anything about it
