I have just noticed that You (Opodo) has taken money from my credit card twice. The 1st one is £59.99 taken on 7th Dec 2023, and the 2nd one is £69.99 on 7th Dec 2024. Altogether you took £129.98 from my credit card.
I called you twice and you said it is the annual subscription for Opodo prime that I opted for when I made a travel booking back on 7 Nov 2023 for the travel to Barcelona. You said I was given one month free trial, and subscription fee was taken from the credit card that was used for the travel booking because no cancellation took place after one month free trial.
I am complaining about you taking money from my credit card for this Opodo prime subscription. I believe this is a fraud for the following reasons and request you to refund me £129.98 that you took from my credit card without my authorisation.
1. 1st one. You took £59.99 on 7th Dec 2023 for Opodo prime subscription. I do not believe I have given you authorisation to take money from my credit card for the Opodo Prime subscription. To be honest, I had never realised you took £59.99 from my credit card until two weeks ago when I checked my credit card records. I have never used Opodo again since my booking travel to Barcelona on 7th Dec 2023. I request you to refund me £59.99 that you took on 7th Dec 2023 for the Opodo prime subscription.
2. 2nd one. you took £69.99 from my credit card on 7th Dec 2024 for Prime subscription renewal. you did not inform me of the renewal and just took money from my credit card without my authorisation. This is fraud. I request you to refund me £69.99, and terminate my Opodo prime immediately.
Thank you and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
