PC Richard & Son Invoice 5=1756591 $1373.20

A/C ordered through Jerry at Plainview, NY locations It took 10 days for PCR to finally order a replacement A/C after they insisted I needed a $25 survey to have one ordered. Next thing I know is that they can not procur a replacement unit and was refunded only $75 or my $100 deposit stating they could not refund the $25 for the survey of a unit they can not get. This is all during hot days in July which was very frustrating and unpleasant. I proceeded to get a replacement done without any survey or delays from another source. After many years and thousands of dollars spent at PCR I can no longer use the company. Unfortunately for PCR and fortunately for me there are other choices to obtain whatever they carry. This is all because they refused to refund a $25 deposit which I was originally told by the salesman was refundable. It was not my fault they could not find a replacement. The company is very petty and short sighted by not refunding the whole deposit. Also I would not recommend the saleman, Jerry, at the Plainview store if you are spending more than 5 dollars.

PC Richard & Son Service on Maytag Washing Machine

I purchased a Maytag Washing Machine from PC Richard in January Invoice #[protected]. Washer stopped agitating. Called for service in July. Had to wait two weeks. Service was performed on July 29. Washer has been fixed for exactly 8 days. Stopped agitating again. Called for service and now have to wait until August 17th. This is unacceptable to me. I expect service that's performed on a brand new machine to last more than 8 days and I expect to not have to wait to get someone here again. I'm a senior citizen and cannot take my laundry to the laundry mat. Having to go so long without a machine is not the service I have come to expect from PC Richards. Having a brand new machine break down so soon after purchase is not the quality I expect from Maytag either.

Desired outcome: Machine fixed ASAP.

PC Richard & Son Prolonged delivery

On May 30, 2021, my wife and I visited a PC Richard's, Store #72 located in Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. e were looking for a Wall Oven for our home. In the past year we purchased from the same store, a washer and dryer, a refrigerator, a stove top, and a dish washer. We seen a wall oven on line we liked from PC Richards and so we went. We unit we liked, was not on display in the store so we needed to order it. Our sales Counselor was Michael, 9599.
He showed us on his computer that four (4) units were coming in on July 7, 2021. One of the four was ours. July 7th, came and went no call from PC Richards. So, my wife and I went back to the store again. They told us the units were never delivered. The next date was August 6th, 2021. On August 5th, 2021, we received an email from PC Richards Delivery Reminder with our Invoice Number, saying the product listed below are scheduled for delivery to my address on August 6, 2021. At 3:05PM on August 5, 2021, we received a Text Message from PC Richards saying our order will be delivered on August 6, 2021. Around Noon on August 6th, we received a call from Michael, saying our order is due August 26, 2021. Bull!

We will send a registered letter to the Executive Office of PC Richards in Farmingdale, NY . to look into this matter. We are holding on to out Information forwarded to us from PC Richards, should we want to escalate this matter.

PC Richard & Son manager and installation

two dishwashers delivered. during install one cannot be put in because they need long hose. call manager of store and he says he will ensure getting the hose and have it resolved in 3 days. On third day I get different manager named Ralph, very dismissive. Tells me he doesn't know what hose so he can't do anything. I say pick up the dishwasher and he says fine and hangs up. Is this PC Richards? really? This is not my first purchase from them so I expect a little courtesy. However this may be my last purchase from them.

Desired outcome: Installation person with proper hose and install the dishwasher.

PC Richard & Son sales and delivery

07/21/21 at the bay plaza store##56, i brought a general electric range and a whirlpool refridgerator #invoice [protected] sales person Felix .while shopping i specified that the size and height to fit in the kitchen, the stove had no problem fitting in. however the refrigerator could not fit thru the door, i inford the sales person that it would not fit thru the door and he came to my apartment to check.he told me to come back to pick a smaller model, when i arrived at the store he told me they could get the fridge in they would take the door off. base on this i said okay and a ppointment was set and on that they had me sitting waiting for the delivery even after i called a couple of times to ask when is it comming .finally at 3pm they tell me the person delivering it called in sick.another appointment was set for 08/02/21 the delivery peron took the door off the hinges to get the fridge in the apartment then he had to take the doors off the refridgerator to get it in the kitchen. i would have never have purchase the item if i knew that would be the process.i also purschase a 55in tv and wall mount that same day# [protected] sold by the same sales person Felix . i went exchange the fix wallmount for a fullmotion mount .AT THIS TIME I ONLY WANT TO DEAL WITH THE MANAGER AND WHILE WAITING FOR THE EXCHANGE FELIX COMES OVER AND I TOLD HIM YOU SAIL I WOULD NOT HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING IT INTO MY APARTMENT HE TELLS ME I TOLD YOU WHEN YOU BROUGHT IT YOU MIGHT HAVE PROBLEM .I COULD'NT BELIVE HE SAID THAT WHEN ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND MENTION NUMEROUS TIMES ABOUT THE STOVE AND REFRIGERATOR HAD TO BE CERTAIN DIMENSIONS TO FIT . HE SALES PERSON WAS MORE FOCUS ON SELLING THE PRODUCTS THEN TAKING CARE OF THEE CUSTOMER.I WOULD HAVE A HARD MAKING ANY PURHASES IN THE FUTURE FROM P.C.RICKARD

PC Richard & Son LG Fridge - Just 4 years new...

Called on Monday, 7/19 because my fridge stopped working over the weekend. A service appointment was set up for Thursday, 7/22. The repair tech came in, laid on the floor and listened to the fridge. He got up and said the compressor is working, you need a control board, a fan assembly and two other supporting parts. He never removed a cover to check if there was a bad relay, shorted wire, or anything. Okay, they know their job...I assume. Then he says, parts aren't available...you'll hear from us when parts come in. Finally get an email stating parts are not due in until 8/2. This is two weeks the fridge will be inoperable. Ok, I start calling to see if we can speed up the parts / next service call, but no success. I got hung up on twice, one rep named Mohamed said he has no time to talk to me because he has another customer on the line. Complete waste of time trying to get anywhere with the PC Richards trained robots. I was always a loyal, I mean LOYAL PC Richards customer. I will never purchase from them again, and I'm spreading the word. They DO NOT stand behind what they sell. Their service department is a joke and if I had called a local appliance repair, my fridge would be working the same day. I paid for an extended warranty but realize now I'm at their mercy because they control the process. I expect a fridge to be repaired very quickly and not in 2 going on 3 weeks. Disgusted & disappointed.

PC Richard & Son Washing machine delivery guys did a horrible job and left damages

They brought in the new washing machine. While unscrewing the old washing machine from the bottom (storage box), they broke the holder pieces. They refused to instal the new one because they claimed it would not hold with the broken holder pieces. They were the ones that broken it in the first place. Why is it my fault? I don't understand. They were supposed to instal it themselves.

PC Richard & Son LG refrigerator

I purchased and expensive lg refrigerator on July 2020 and also purchased extra insurance on July 14th I had a service appt for TEC to come and see my mug ref rig he was here for 2 minutes and I was told that I needed a new compressor that same evening, I received a text that the compressor was received but I was told they could not get a TEC here til the following week so now we are looking at 2 1/2 weeks without a refrigerator. Well guess what, the tech never showed on July 21st. I called just serve the adv he will Ben here, he never showed this is the worst company. I have 2 kids and my 84 yr old on insulin I have lost 2 miles of insulin worth 300 a piece who is going to reimburse me and I have been ordering out for 2 weeks who will rein burse oin nthat alson. First serv no was [protected] 2nd appt serv no was [protected]. I need some here today oir I wil be calling heading to myoyur corp office and ncalling my state attorney general.

PC Richard & Son Microwave Install

I purchased a microwave on 12/22/20 and had it installed on 12/23/20.
In July 0f 2021, we noticed water leaking down our backsplash tile around the microwave. Called a plumber who inspected the area, along with the upstairs plumbing, including toilette removal to inspect seals, etc...The wall behind the microwave was then opened up to determine the source of the leak. Well, there was the microwave hardware, clearly showing the installers drilled not one hole, but TWO holes into the pipe, and patched/epoxied them. The plumbers and myself could not believe it. The installers never mentioned to me that a pipe was drilled into TWICE and patched up. Well naturally, the epoxy wore out over time resulting in ruined backsplash tile, a big hole in my wall and pipe/wall repair and expenses. PC Richards invoice clearly states, "Over the Range Microwave Oven includes : Securing of support mount to studs in rear wall. ...Not a PIPE!

PC Richard & Son Customer Service at Yonkers Store

As a customer that has previously done business with PC Richards I felt I was not treated well the sales person as well as the front service desk did not make my experience a pleasant one, from return to purchasing a new washer for my infirmed mother. invoice #[protected]. Sales staff was not helpful at all to be able to buy a new machine 7/3/21

Desired outcome: To purchase a new washing machine or if unable to utilize store credit to buy something else.

PC Richard & Son Refrigerator

I'm a customer for many years, Of PC Richard's. 6/27/21 I called about my stove and Samsung fridge..freezer not freezing my food and the center grill on my Samsung stove doesn't light .
6/30/21 service man came, I was told nothing wrong with freezer. I explained the computer doesn't work once in a while it goes on...mainly stays off.
Stove was checked he told me people never use the center grill, it's a big job, I can just lite it with a match.
I explained I'm not comfortable doing this, after discussing it's not right.the part is being ordered, repairs for the stove 7/8/21..my freezer still not working, 7/1/21 I placed another call to service department I asked to combine appointments, I was told yes, just they never confirmed fridge repair..
Besides the fact what about of groceries I disregarded all the money I lost, and a holiday weekend, Service told me go to PCRichards store purchase a small refrigerator pay for it, and I will be reimbursed .. until I get mine repaired .
Definitely very unprofessional way to do business.

0n monday this week we purchased a washer my boy friend was never told is was he when i came home and saw he i called store and told them i did not want it .i was told we have only sell he nothing else by paul i called spoke to jose was told okay when we took back we were told only credit no returns no matter what i will be calling better buisness beaura also trouble shooter eye wittness news no one ever called me back we were told if we dont like anything else to bad this is not standing behind your products why was i told this is not trial time if i never used it never plugged it in please call me susan barnhart [protected] thankyou

I purchased a Frigidaire 5, 000 BTU window air conditioner in July 2018. The unit comes with a Free one year Manufacturer's repair service warranty, in effect from the date of original purchase. PC Richard & Son Refrigerator

I order a LG refrigerator to delivery to my address. The installation personal arrive at my address. He told me that my refrigerator copper lines need to be replaced, I replaced the copper line already. He keep saying that it need to be replaced, I told him no, He wanted to charge to replaced the copper line again. He wented downstairs to my basement to find the connection to the copper line. He ripped the upper basement panel to find the connection copper line. I told him what are you doing? You do not need to ripped the upper basement panel. Who is responsible for ripping upper basement panel. Is PC Richard going to pay for my damaged? I was so upset I told him to get my house. I took pictures of the damage upper basement panel. I would never deal with PC Richard again.

PC Richard & Son Samsung washing machine

I purchased a Samsung washing machine in 2018. It is not working, and I have been given the run around with your service department for 2 weeks now, if not longer. They are not honoring my service contract that expires in 2023. I have not been able to wash clothes for 2 weeks in a pandemic. I have a chronic medical condition and they are leaving me hanging, yet they took my money for the warranty when I purchased the Samsung front loader washing machine.

The store has been no help! All they tell me is that at their level there is nothing they can do but email the service department. That's ridiculous! No one is attempting to help me at all.

Are these the qualities that your company was built on? Jerking customers around and then ignoring them for valid service calls on products that you sell? Not to mention a warranty that I was charged for that is not properly being honored. It is clear that PC Richards and Sons do not give a damn about the customers except for getting our money and selling us contracts that no one honors.

If I do not get some assistance with my washing machine, I'm going to the Attorney General of CT and all the social medial and news outlets I can find to let them know what kind of company this is. I will also stand outside the store with a sign telling all customers how they can expect to be treated once they make their purchase.

PC Richard & Son Subzero refrigerator

When my current sub-zero refrigerator broke I ordered a new one from P.C.Richard. I was told they were out of stock but placed my order and bought a Whirlpool scratch and dent to use in the meantime. I received a delivery date in April for the subzero and a call the day before to confirm delivery. Meanwhile the Whirlpool did not seem cold so I called service. The evening before my delivery I was told the subzero was not on the truck and they didn't know when I would get it.

The repair man for the whirlpool said it was working right and had to order parts. He advised me to throw out the food which was in there as the meat started to thaw among other things going bad.

I called the store and said since the refrigerator was only 1 month old I didn't want a repair but a replacement, which they did.

My new scheduled date for the sub zero was today, May 25th. I emptied my freezer and refrigerator.

The truck arrived around noon and the driver said this is a four man job. There were only two sent. He made a call and said he was told to have lunch and they would try and get me 2 more men and call me back. I never received a call. I called customer service after waiting 3 hours and was told it was the stores problem but she would relate the problem to the store and have them call me back..

I finally got a call back, and will have to wait 3 more days to get it redelivered. this is a big inconvenience as most of my food is at a neighbors house and I am using a college refrigerator that I borrowed. We are seniors in our 80's and this isn't easy.

I feel P.C.Richard should compensate us in some way for all this inconvenience.
