Shop on Saturdays, knowing that stores are stocked for influx of customers.
Went to purchase bag of radishes the past 2 Saturdays and was told they did not receive shipment. Went to another branch and low and behold they had on shelf and boxful on their pallet. What gives? Some stores are not entitled to products?
Stinky Rotten Potatoes
I'm writing to inform you about the horrible potatoes you have at the Rochdale Superstore. 2 weeks ago my husband and I went shopping there. We could not get out of that area fast enough the smell was atrocious. I've complained to the produce manager. They just laugh. This is not acceptable. It is a filthy disgusting shame. There are a lot of qualified individuals who I am sure can order Great Potatoes.
Desired outcome: Get a produce manager who orders good quality potatoes .
Disgusting bathroom
The smell of urine is so strong.
It's been like this for a while. I'm a frequent shopper. They're in a state of disrepair and have been for a while.
A food store with bathrooms like this should be closed.
This will be posted publicly, maybe that will get things fixed, cleaned.
How can this not be important to a food retailer?

I have completely stopped shopping there and will not be back. The staff is rude, unhelpful and unfriendly. Ignorant with customers and announcements cannot be understood. I was a regular shopper in Duncan BC but upon moving to Surrey BC I have decided to only shop at Costco in Langley. You have permanently lost my business.

No products
During covid I have been ordering online and having groceries delivered by instacart. What the hell is with superstore? They never have any stock. Even chosen replacements are not available. Today was the worst! Out of an $80 order I received a dozen eggs, one tomato and a bag of lettuce totaling $13. On top of that they charge higher prices online that in the store.
A total waste of my time and the shopper's. Won't be shopping there again.
Desired outcome: Maybe some idea as to why they never have any stock. It doesn't matter what day of the week
Gift cards
SuperStore sold me two $50 Gift Cards. When my sister to whom I'd sent them at Christmas tried to use them a Superstore grunt DAMAGED them and then claimed they were «empty». So The heirs of billionaire Galen Weston just made another $100 the apparently desperately needed by STEALING it from me. Way to go pirates!
Their so-called «Customer Service» phone line announces: ««closed, call back during «normal business hours» »» but doesn't even have the sense to state the time zone.
[censored]ty, criminal treatment from one of Canada's richest families.
Desired outcome: I want my $100 back.
Water refill station
Since COVID started the water refill station at the Nanaimo store has been "Out of Service".
Well all the other grocery stores have theirs up and running...
I do the majority of my shopping at RCS (which is a 5 minute drive for me) and now I have to drive and extra 20 to 30 minutes to another store to fill my water jugs.
I'd like to know RCS does not have the water refill station up and running.
We get told to shop "local"! Can't any more local than 5 minutes.

My husband and I both love coconuts. on Thanksgiving night we bough a coconut from superstore, it smelled awful and when we peeled it, it was completely corrupted.We were really frustrated by that. Unfortunately today my husband bought another coconut and it was corrupted again. It seems that we pay just for nothing. I hope there will be a good answer for this problem.

I have got sour Organic Meadows whipping creme twice in a row now. Now I suppose I am expected to go back a third time, and spend more money on transportation not to mention the food lost when the sour cream ruined it. Superstore at Don mills & Eglinton
2021/09/17 Rod Costa (on the recipe ) Person that deal with the complait at the time was South Asian Man.
I am a regular shopper at this location. This time while waitng there ws already two customer, one was babgging her things, the other was just finshed paying.
As I was waitng the cashier rudely told me to put my things on the runner.
I replay to her okay, and started to put my items down. I told the cashier I do have few items to price match. She than repeated back to me again in very short tone. I replied "Yes"
When I wanted to show the price matching item on my phone I put it slighly around the Shield with only my hand to show it because it was small print on the flyer.
She then again very rudely told me go back behind the shield.
By now I was angry at just how rude she was to me. I told her be nice, don't be so rude and speak nice. I told her how she didn't care to distance the customers before hand now she was so concerned that my hand was aroung the shield.
I told her that and its not right she talk to customer like that. She then told me take my stuff and go somewhere eles after I waited all this time.
I had this lady before and she is very short with me then as well. I felt she was so polite to the cocasian woman before me and myself being Asian felt she just didnt give me the same courtesy.
Living in Canada with all this different nationalities, I find it disheartening for one immigrant to another she talks to her customer like this and thinks its okay.
I also find that when she went and got her manager and I expalined what had occurred, He never apologized for her rudeness nor gave any kind of resolution for this incident.
I feel completely insulted twice.
I will never go to this store again.
Your company just don't have any value system for your customer, its like we have to thank you to spend our money in your store.
PS: The cashier was I believe form Middle East ( Afghanistan ) possibly .
She wore glasses and bleached blone hair with roots showing.
I am Korean, if you ever visit Korean grocery store you will see how they speak and treat customer, this is somehting you can teach your staff.
What happen to customer is everything.
Totally disappointed.

I am absolutely mortified and completely disappointed and outraged with my superstore experience. I spend nearly $500 on groceries and produce just to have everything go rotten the next day. You guys charge people a ridiculous about of money for produce that you know will spoil the next day. Now I am out of food and out of money, this is not fair at all and there needs to be a resolution.

I am NOT impressed with your Real Canadian Superstore located on London Road in Sarnia On.
I have never seen such a SAD performance of customer service in a retail store in many years. Your staff all seem to be unhappy, wishing they were somewhere else other than there. When you ask questions and get a reply from your employee to the effect that your company store in nothing more than a "revolving door", that is VERY SAD!
Prices not on shelf labels, employees more interested in shopping for your online customers and unwilling to answer questions or tell you where something is located! If you do not want customers to shop in your store, please just put a sign at your entrances telling them to shop elsewhere!
What the hell happened to Loblaws? Did profits and ignorance take over courtesy and customer service?
The self checkout at this store reminds me of being in grade school having to raise my hand to ask for things.
The lady wandering around with plastic bags in her hand, none available at the self checkout? Is Loblaws going to go bankrupt by leaving them there for customers? Other grocery stores do not seem to have a problem with leaving bags at the self checkout. Is Loblaws special?
Perhaps you take time from your "ivory tower' to address this complaint.

Not mandating mask policy
I was shopping today and counted 8 adults not wearing any mask protection, not following distancing at all. One purposely stood directly beside me. When I went to check out someone pointed out to the cashier that their covid policy is very weak and she replied yes we gave up even trying to enforce it. This store is starting to be known as a covid spreader. I have changed my weekly shopping to tilbury just for this reason

On Aug 7 @ 7:45 pm I went to pick up my 3 items from the flashfood and was greeted by a young petite female who could not find one of my items and quietly told me they did not have it and I could request a refund. (Which I have never done)..so I asked her how I make that happen and she said go to the help menu on the app ..so I went there and she disappeared into a back room so when I needed some help I asked a young gentleman standing at the counter...he went to the back to call her back...again she answered my basic question and disappeared...I needed more help so I went over to another young female staff at the counter who was writing something and she also gave very little information..would not make eye contact...never put her pen down to engage...seemed totally un-interested in my problem but I persisted in completing the submission of my refund request...I may have gone through the process more than once because I have never done it before and it was so irritating that the staff showed NO interest in helping. I have never had any daytime staff disregard me in that way. I have grandchildren their age and don't like to stereo type but their service was grossly unfriendly and unhelpful.
Hopefully your grandchildren have to deal with a stuck up customer like you. You do realize that some people have religious reasons not to make eye contact right.
