I am absolutely mortified and completely disappointed and outraged with my superstore experience. I spend nearly $500 on groceries and produce just to have everything go rotten the next day. You guys charge people a ridiculous about of money for produce that you know will spoil the next day. Now I am out of food and out of money, this is not fair at all and there needs to be a resolution.

Customer Service Real Canadian Superstore Sarnia
I am NOT impressed with your Real Canadian Superstore located on London Road in Sarnia On.
I have never seen such a SAD performance of customer service in a retail store in many years. Your staff all seem to be unhappy, wishing they were somewhere else other than there. When you ask questions and get a reply from your employee to the effect that your company store in nothing more than a "revolving door", that is VERY SAD!
Prices not on shelf labels, employees more interested in shopping for your online customers and unwilling to answer questions or tell you where something is located! If you do not want customers to shop in your store, please just put a sign at your entrances telling them to shop elsewhere!
What the hell happened to Loblaws? Did profits and ignorance take over courtesy and customer service?
The self checkout at this store reminds me of being in grade school having to raise my hand to ask for things.
The lady wandering around with plastic bags in her hand, none available at the self checkout? Is Loblaws going to go bankrupt by leaving them there for customers? Other grocery stores do not seem to have a problem with leaving bags at the self checkout. Is Loblaws special?
Perhaps you take time from your "ivory tower' to address this complaint.

Not mandating mask policy
I was shopping today and counted 8 adults not wearing any mask protection, not following distancing at all. One purposely stood directly beside me. When I went to check out someone pointed out to the cashier that their covid policy is very weak and she replied yes we gave up even trying to enforce it. This store is starting to be known as a covid spreader. I have changed my weekly shopping to tilbury just for this reason

On Aug 7 @ 7:45 pm I went to pick up my 3 items from the flashfood and was greeted by a young petite female who could not find one of my items and quietly told me they did not have it and I could request a refund. (Which I have never done)..so I asked her how I make that happen and she said go to the help menu on the app ..so I went there and she disappeared into a back room so when I needed some help I asked a young gentleman standing at the counter...he went to the back to call her back...again she answered my basic question and disappeared...I needed more help so I went over to another young female staff at the counter who was writing something and she also gave very little information..would not make eye contact...never put her pen down to engage...seemed totally un-interested in my problem but I persisted in completing the submission of my refund request...I may have gone through the process more than once because I have never done it before and it was so irritating that the staff showed NO interest in helping. I have never had any daytime staff disregard me in that way. I have grandchildren their age and don't like to stereo type but their service was grossly unfriendly and unhelpful.
Hopefully your grandchildren have to deal with a stuck up customer like you. You do realize that some people have religious reasons not to make eye contact right.

On July 29/2021 my wife purchased 3, nice looking, AAA striploin steaks at store #01573 in Edmonton, Alberta.
Without a doubt this was the toughest striploin I've ever eaten. There is no way this was "AAA". Shoe leather is more tender.
I've consumed Superstore beef on numerous occasions before, always with disappointment. As a result I vowed never to buy Superstore beef again. Unfortunately my wife forgot herself and bought the steaks.
Either Superstore beef buyers / cutters don't know what they're doing or they are doing it dishonestly. Maybe both.
I have never had a similar issue, not even close, with any of the other retailers (Costco, Save on Foods, Sobeys / Safeway).
Superstore does not belong in the beef business.
parking
I am writing as I have a issue with the moving of the handicap parking from beside the store at the kamloops store. The parking is now in the general parking area, the handicaped now need to traverse the driveway in front of the store to shop. Also many handicaped people have to use larger vehicles and the parking lanes are too narrow to safely navigate. There is room on the other side of the entrance for grocery pick up. If this continues I will no longer shop at your store and will be returning you credit card.

Last time I use self check out you have removed the bags because a few people did not pay the 5 cents So now you have to wait well the one person deals with the 8 other people to get a bag your a joke The family do not make enough you need the 5 cents. Maybe hire second person at self check out your saving / making money with less staff spend some of the money or learn from other better stores

I called to pick up my order at 2:05pm at 2:30pm my order was STILL not out to me. I watched 3 other orders come out. I called back AGAIN to ask where my order was. They said oh ya we'll be out soon. Finally after sitting for nearly an hour, my order was brought out. Was told they were too busy today.

I am 6 months pregnant and I was waiting in line for 20 minutes to make a payment for the purchases made at your store location, when a customer service employee named Pramila let one of her relative / friend slide by to make a payment without standing in line .When confronted very politely she was extremely rude and denied of this incident completely, while this happened right in front of my eyes .I want to make sure this complain is taken seriously .My family will think twice before shopping at this location again.

I got an email yesterday that I had redeemed 240, 000 points in Ajax, Ontario while I was sitting at my desk in Edmonton, Alberta. I called Superstore in Ontario and they said a card was used (I checked my account and that card is not attached to my account) and so they would not give the points back because it is their policy. I said it is impossible for me to have used that card but they will not return my points. Any other company would be reasonable about a customer being a victim of fraud would refund the $240.00. They will not respond except to say it is "their policy if a card is used"

This washroom in the confederation store is not up to par in accordance to the size of this store... Look at the pictures, one stall, and two urinals which half the time are ‘out of order'... Paper towel machine has been neglected for months... Doesn't work and/or "produce" paper towel... Customers have to do it on their own...In a store this size.. Time to move forward with washrooms like walmart has... Get your head in the game, and don't say "it's not affordable" you guys should have the best and safest washrooms in the country. I was in pop aisle and asked a clerk where i could find ginger beer.She said look in this aisle and walked away.She said as she walked away to go ask at service desk.i went to service desk and was told it was either in pop aisle or in Pharmacare aisle.The clerk called one person out back to check.No stock out back.Not able to check stock on computer to tell me if store carried any stock.

Click and collect
Hello, I am writing today to complain about the click and collect service. We used the service today because time was a critical issue. Our pick up time was slated for 430 to 5 and when I phoned at 5:10 to see why we hadn't received confirmation the order was not ready nor did the person we spoke to seem to realize that we can't even made an order. We received confirmation of the order at 11 AM and we're supposed to be able to pick up between 430 and five we received an email at 5:46 indicating substitutions. We had stopped using click and collect for a long period of time because of delays previously. I am writing today to see if waving the $5 fee is possible in addition to compensation maybe through PC points?
Desired outcome: To waive the five dollar fee and perhaps extra PC points. It really did mess up the whole day and compensation for time. We are as you can see very loyal superstore shoppers.

Rushing customers through the checkout
I was under the impression that the cashiers are supposed to wait until the person at the end has finished packing their groceries before ringing the next person through. It has happened on more than one occasion where I am still packing my groceries and the person behind me has their stuff already scanned through, and vice versa. It really does not help the situation when it's a pandemic and cashiers are rushing the customers through the checkout, ultimately not respecting social distancing. This has happened at the Superstore on 51 Ave and the store in Heritage Valley both in Edmonton.
Desired outcome: Tell your staff to not rush customers through the checkout line
