rude and bad behaviour at soshanguve crossing shoprite liquor
On the 16th of December 2019 i went to shoprite liquor at Crossing Mall in soshanguve, when i was paying to a cashier for the products that i just bought. i asked her to put them in a plastic and she replied saying she don't want to, i must do it myself because she is not a packer she is a cashier . the other cashier on the other side said to her this customer doesn't know how to beg (referring to me) my heart sank as a person who started working in a retail shop environment which says you can pack for a customer . the attitude i got from these cashiers was very disappointing as i'm the shoprite customer for a long time . please can the shoprite manager contact me : [protected]

I always enjoy shopping at my local Checkers, but I was disgusted yesterday when I went to buy fresh paninis from the store bakery. There were flies all over the freshly baked produce and the staff didn't seem concerned at all. I promised myself never ever to purchase anything from that bakery again. Please bring this under the attention of the store management concerned.

This is the second time I have purchased Jungle Oats and I have needed to return it to the shop.
Today I opened the box and it is full of maggots and flies.
I'm returning it to Shoprite in Newlands but need Tiger Brands to take responsibility for these goods as well. This is a health Hazzard and totally unacceptable. .
The process of replacement that these shops have do not deal with the issue of products being produced that do not meet health standards. This is a clear indication that there is a lack of quality control when it comes to mass production. Not many people are by the means of logging complaints so how many other customers have received goods in a state like this.

Hi, on the 9th november 2019 I went to buy a brown bread at atlantis shoprite... I asked them to cut my bread. They told me I must what because the employees in the bakery was busy doing their work. I was standing there for more than a half hour, and I was on my way to work...
It was 10:15 am, I came late that day, and I had to sign a warning for late coming...
The bakery supervisor came in screamed at me telling I just had to wait until her employees is done with their work.
I told i'm standing here for more than a half hour, she just kept on yelling and screaming at me... I went to the manager and explained to her that i'm waiting for more than a half hour for my bread to be cut... While I was talking to the manager, the supervisor, jessica storm, kept on talking to me as if i'm not human...
She than went with me to the bakery, and told her workers to cut my bread to also said I can just wait and refused to cut my bread. Than I had to wait for another 15 minutes for my bread to be cut...

I purchase at the Northern Paarl store daily and today just past 2pm I was paying my goods at till number 4. While I was standing there the cashier was having a lovely conversation with the lady packing the bags. While she was talking she mentioned the words 'white people' far over 10 times. I understand a bit of Xhosa as I have worked with Xhosa speaking people for years. It is my understanding that they were having a conversation about what white people purchase.I paid and asked to speak to Mr Myberg the manager. I explained what happened and he told me that he doesn't understand the language so he will only be able to tell them never to do it again. Really? I worked in reatail over 10 years of my life and when staff sit and talk about another race they just get asked not to? This is very concerning. I can see why this has probably become the norm for these employees because they just get a slap on the wrist. Your cashiers are the face of you business. That store has so much potential but with everything I have witnessee today.. I am utterly disgusted. I hope policies and procedures are followed and that these employees rather pack boxes in the store room where nobody can hear what they talk about.

Shoprite Phuthaditjhaba is always slow with its system, today I been to get Telkom Knockout tickets which were forseen to be available by 12 pm today(25 October 2019), my brother and I took few minutes explaining to the cashier that we need tickets for the mentioned soccer match. She seemed so ignorant and not caring band after about 15 minutes she told us that her system is not showing that particular game, we came back an hour later, the situation bwas still appalling, she even told us to go to Pick n Pay or another Shoprite which is far from where we were. I believe shoprite to be a big parastatal entity, which should not stuhgle with such issues bas the net, especially if it services as many people as the Phuthaditjhaba branch, you can check the numbers, how much the branch makes a day. It is beyond irritating

On the 25 of July 2019 Cashier1 at Tonga Shoprite refused to pack my grocery and gave me attitude thus humiliating me in the process while i was there to use my money, 21 September2019 i wanted a large box of Grandpa headache powder's38 the person working with medicine was not interested in what i was saying i had to go around the shop asking people in other departments to check if they had stock, 02 October2019 after doing my shopping realized i didn't buy coffee went back took a single doy of Jacobs coffee went to the cigarette counter since it was empty, was told i had to go to the line i was standing in those lines a few minutes ago and they were long i said it was only 1thing i asked to speak yo the manager i explained he refused, i left i was not going to stand in those long lines for a single item again. And today 12 October 2019 as i was standing waiting for my turn to be served by the cashier the 2 women working in the next aisle starting what i believe was mocking me they kept saying çall the manager as i stood there and as i left, this was just funny to them .

Today we order from the deli and it told us it would only take 20 min we go back to pick the cold cuts after 40 minutes of shopping and the workers are sitting there laughing and not doing they job right. And our cold cuts weren't even cut yet. It wasnt even that busy at the deli. The workers was just talking up a storm and not doing there job . Need sum workers that are more focused on there work instead of talking to co workers.

Went into the Checkers at Hemingways Mall in East London, bought chicken from the Deli and it was number one: Not fresh. Number Two: It wasn't cooked Even though the first piece was not cooked but it was still edible but the second one was totally raw, looked like it was just put the microwave just to brown it and put spices on. It was a nightmare eating Checkers' meat!!!

Today I was at shoprite in town centre. It was very busy as it is a public holiday and many people were doing shopping. I decided to get me something nice at the bakery which was a beesting. When I got home I was so upset to find that there was a hair in the cream of the beesting. This is very disgusting and unhygienic! I feel like never ever buying anything at shoprite bakery ever again! But that's not all, I also noticed that one chocolate I had paid for was not in my bags. The cashier might have forgotten to pack it in the bag. I have my slip. It shows that the chocolate is on the slip, but I dont have it in my grocery bag. This is very unprofessional of the staff and I'm extremely upset and disgusted!

We were shopping for toys at shoprite in Valhalla and an item that we found was priced at R19. 99.
When we got to the till the item reflected more than double the price and the manager told us."we do not recognize the price tag."
We believe that it not fair to show a price of an item and later on as management say that something went wrong but then not be able to nshow who was at fault. We were unfairly treated as loyal customers and that is not right. What was worse is that the manager did not even apologize for what happened.
We believe that a refund is due and most importantly, an apology.

I swiped at Shoprite Liquor in Diepkloof twice for one item. Their speed point said "decline, offline" according to the lady named Gugu. I requested for the slip of decline and they refused. Second swipe went through and the SMS notification showed that it went through twice.
I supplied them with my bank statement and they acknowledged that it went through twice. Now over 3 weeks and they have still not paid me back. I have been calling them almost daily and I all keep on hearing is I was supposed to be refunded.

out of curiosity I weight the drained contents of a tin, to my big surprise it only weighed 92 grams. Then I weighed the drained contents of another 4 tins not one had the contents it said on the tin. Namely 119 grams. the heaviest one was 109 grams and I didn't really squeeze very hard as to get the last drop of water out of it. So we pay already in my opinion a ridiculous high price for these so called 119 grams of tuna and then we are still given short. Does anybody in your company ever do any quality checking or do you just accept that your Thai supplier will do the right thing and deliver what's on the tin. The contents also doesn't really smell very appetizing. Please be my guest and check this out for yourselves. I for one will not buy one more tin of this rubbish. It's just not right. God knows whatever else I have to start checking from your company to see if I'm not being taken for a ride.

I am a client venting in regards to the poor service that I received and you taking the matter personal.
You stated to my husband that you are pulling out of this complaint because of the insults.
I deal with thousands of complaints on a daily basis, the important factor is to remain objective. I've been called many things in my life, whilst investigating a complaint but you need to understand that the anger is not directed at you, the individual, but the company.
I am not happy with your statement, I am the client and I have a right to void my opinion if I receive shoddy service.
I want the details of the person that you are reporting to.
You stated that you tried to help me.. how, by providing me with a R5300.00 quote, which is more than the actual cost of the TV. That is not going beyond and above for a client, you clearly have no idea what the "TCF..Treating the Client Fairly" initiative is.
If this is how you manage customer complaints, than you are not in the right field.
The nerve to tell me that you are pulling out, because you deem my complaint to be personally attached to yourself is ridiculous.
It is pathetic, to leave a client in a predicament because you cannot handle criticism and you now regard this fight that I'm fighting, .. fighting for my rights, as personal.
So if there's a difficult client on the floor, are you just going to walk away without providing a resolution, because the client's anger and frustration is a personal attack on you.
I need the details of a person that I can communicate to that understands the process of effective complaints handling.
spekko 2kg rice containing maggots...
I've bought Spekko 2kg rice, twice in the past two weeks and on both occasions did it contain maggots. I told the lady manager and ask her to pull it from the shelves, but it's still being sold.
Please inform them to remove it from the shelves or I will lunge a complaint with the health department as this is not the only products that's infectious, even the meat that they pack has a funny smell, even though the dates are well before the expired date written.
Please can someone look into this. This is lawsuits waiting to happen...!
