Skynet Worldwide Express mishandling parcel

I would like to bring this to your attention on Skynet Bandar Botanic. While I was away, the delivery guy threw the parcel all the way from my main gate into my garage, which is about 5 to 6meters of distance and left it there unattended. Although the parcel didn't contain any fragile items, their mishandling causing the box inside the parcel all dented and disfigured.

Skynet Worldwide Express service - cape town branch

To Whom It May Concern.

Last month we complained and here we are again. After eventually receiving feedback about our lost packages, we are now told that Skynet will not refund us.

We are a fragrance store and majority of the time packages sent contain perfume. The first incident was in August 2016 when our package was returned dripping with the perfume completely shattered. On receival of return of the package, photos were taken showing the state of the package with clearly visable fragile stickers on it and emailed alongside the complaint. Karel Smith dealt with the matter at the time. Skynet, conveniently claimed that during transportation someone must have put something heavy on the package and that there were no stickers on the package (even though it can be seen in the pictures that there are fragile stickers). We were advised that we should submit a claim for the damages. In the email received it is clearly noted that Skynet took responsibility for their negligence. However, two months later we were still waiting for feed back regarding the claim. Our store had to resend the product to the customer at our expense of R1200.

December 2016, Skynet looses our package and takes approximately three weeks to inform us that the package is lost (our previous complaint was regarding this). Once again, we had to resend the customer a new perfume to the value of R1500. We were explained that we need to put in a claim. Suaad at the Cape Town branch said that she will ensure the claim gets out to the finance department.

January 2017, again Skynet looses another package to the value of R750 which we again, had to replace for the customer and again advised by Skynet to put in a claim (at this point we were still waiting for the payout of December's payout).

Waiting and begging for information regarding the claim we were passed from Suaad to Gerda and then to Neville and were then told we need to liase with our Skynet Rep (which we had no idea who that was because our previous Rep had left Skynet and we were never advised as to who our new Rep was and no one could advise us to who that is). The Rep who we have been liasing with up until now is Raghmah. She has now informed us that her manager Chantel Le Roy advised that we will not be paid out because we do not have insurance.

It is now seven months later and we as a business has given away R3450 due to Skynet who cannot provide a service. Skynet refuses to refund us for their negligence and inability to perform their job. Nobody within this seven months (we had to run after Skynet to get information regarding everything, this was stated in our previous complaint and yet this behaviour continues) advised us that insurance is required in order to claim and instead people were advising us to claim. This is Skynet's negligence as it is clearly noted that staff are incompetent of doing their jobs as they could not inform us of that and instead sent us around in a circle. Skynet is now claimimg responsibility of client to ensure insurance with Skynet in order to claim but refuse to accept responsibility for their incompetence and misleading information with four different people telling us to claim yet they view our account information everytime they deal with us and can clearly see that we do not have insurance.

This feels like a rip off and we are highly unsatisfied due to Skynet's incompetent staff who have mislead us regarding a claim and have promised us the payment of R3450 but now are singing a different tune. Due to this inconvenience we will be laying a complaint with the National Complaints Commission as the following are violated in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, Act 68 of 2008 are:
1. The right to fair and responsible marketing
2. The right to a fair and honest dealing
3. The right to fair, just and reasonable terms and conditions; and
4. The right to safe and good quality goods

Skynet Worldwide Express 11 street (order no. : [protected])

To Whom it may concern,

I should like to bring to your attention to the above order number which we received yesterday.

Skynet attempted to deliver this item on the 26th April 2017. This first delivery was returned as the item was damaged. I can only imagine that this item was damaged at some point during transportation.

We received delivery of the new undamaged item yesterday. My Mother in Law was alone in the condo at the time and so she received delivery and was unfortunate enough to also receive with it what I can only describe as the most rude and totally unacceptable levels of customer service from Skynet transportation personnel.

As I said she was alone, she is 69 years old and felt intimidated and stressed by transportation personnel who were continually showing their reluctance to assist her. She was in the same state when I returned home some 4 or 5 hours later.

Both the delivery of the first damaged item and the levels of service we received upon delivery of the second item clearly demonstrate the complete incompetence of the transportation provider that 11th street is currently using to carry out simple deliveries successfully and with satisfactory service levels.

That is why we feel that we should bring this to your attention. As a reputable provider of online goods and services, you may wish to reconsider the transportation company that you are currently using and use a provider that matches your own outstanding reputation. Especially since upon investigation on the internet I have seen numerous other similar complaints (see weblink below).

The registration of the Skynet vehicle that entered the condo yesterday to deliver was NDE 8357. Security staff at our condo gave me this information after I went to talk to them yesterday evening about this incident. We have brought it to their attention also. Security advised us that Skynet has now been “flagged” and they will now be extra vigilant when dealing with ANY Skynet deliveries to the entire condo in future.

Sky net totally sucks and so do 11 street, a totally usuless market place with a bounch of stupid staff include the manager who cant solve the problems and dragging for years.

Skynet Worldwide Express reckless driver wny 6850 on 8 may 6:10pm in taman klang utama, klang selangor

Hi, I would like to complain the driver who drives the Skynet courier service lorry with number plate WNY 6850. He drove in Jalan Sungai Keramat 13, Taman Klang Utama, 42100 Klang on 8 May around 6:10pm. The driver did not give way to my vehicle which he supposed to do as I was stuck in the middle of road and could not proceed forward, but he just drove in front of me and forced me to turn my car to hit the car which parked at the roadside and the Skynet lorry driver just ran away. I really hope for your kind help, thank you.

skynet sg petani ini dah kali kedua barang yg dihantar ke sg petani tdk sampai kerumah dari 28.4.17 hingga sekarang masih belum dihantar. bila telefon pekerja memaklumkan bhw driver terlupa bawa barang tersebut dan akan hantar bila ada driver tambahan. mereka suruh ambik sendiri jika nak cepat. perkhidmatan dibayar tp customer kena collect sendiri. perkhidmatan courier service yg lain cepat je hantar tak ada masalah..

Skynet Worldwide Express goods never delivered

Goods never delivered to me, I have been waiting for the delivery guy the whole day on Saturday which he promised to come. Calling no answer, text no reply. Horrible service you had there, Skynet is forever banned. I don't know how your staffs work there, but certainly not helpful at all. Poor service, long delay in delivery, no sense of responsibility.

Skynet Worldwide Express spoiled goods

Dear skynet,
I had received complain from my customer that the product i delivered during the above date was spolied. The product was in good shape before i delivered and was spoiled when my customer received. I had covered my product carefully before delivering. This is the first time my product was spoiled during delivery by Skynet after i had used the service numbersof time. I had received complain that the product was spoiled even the box covered outside was also spolied. Now my customer had demand a full refund from me which i believe both of me and Skynet had the responsibility for the spoiled item. The product had costed me RM35 and the delivering service RM9. I do hope Skynet will take immediate action for this matter to gain my trust for continuing using the service. Thank you for your action taken.

Skynet Worldwide Express lateness delivery services

Im very disappointed for this courier services branches in Skynet, Kuching, Sarawak. Supposed received my parcel on 17/4/2017 (monday) since on 15/4/2017 (saturday) my parcel arrived at skynet office. I've called the branches on 17/4/2017 at 5pm after waiting for my parcel the whole day. However they told me they will deliver my parcel for the next day on 18/4/2017 (tuesday), but until now i still not yet received my parcel or call from them. My parcel posted since 12/4/2017 from subang jaya HUB, until 19/4/2017 not yet received. How could the delivery process take 1 week also still cant deliver the parcel. Hopefully can improved the service in future.

Skynet Worldwide Express lateness of deliveries, safeness of my item and the lack of customer support

My item was supposed to be delivered in 10/4/2017 but instead, it will arrive in 11/4/2017. When I contact the skynet customer support, I was ask to wait for their call. After waiting for half an hour, I make another call as they did not gave me a call. The respond I get was the same as the first call. Then, after waiting for three hour, I decided to make another call and they finally respond to me. This has already make me furious. After I get the call back, I found out that my item was not at skynet but at one of their deliveries guy. This make me concern about the safeness of my item. The person in charge of customer support is also rude as he yell back at me. I admit that I yell at him first but I have my right as a customer. Please make sure to improve your services or else I will make sure to spread about the lack of quality of your company to the media so they did not make the same mistake as me.

I dont understand why take people to work when they dont have interest in working. our company has open an account with Skynet ipoh since year 2008.Today at 4pm i went to Skynet ipoh at No16, Medan Istana 7, the girl at the counter asked me to tear the customer copy before i hand it to them n take back the customer copy back to them to sign. isnt it double work? Signing on the consignment note which is your copy and the torn copy which is the customer copy.She said that she is busy and unable to to do so many work..is it my duty to do it?if this is the case i should be working in Skynet instead of her! She was holding her handphone and had her laptop infront of her and i was the only customer there, what is her duty? If this bad comments goes around its a shame to skynet! we as customers pay for your service and with our money you pay them salary so if we as customers do everything than its best you close down...

Skynet Worldwide Express poor delivery service

We sent 2 deliveries to Melaka, 1 document and 1 parcel, AWB # [protected] & # [protected]. On both occasions, document and parcel was left on the front door of office without any present receiver.
The receiver contact number is clearly stated in AWB, there is no reason for
If our customer denied receiving goods or goods actually was stolen, we will hold Skynet responsible for the full amount?
We shall await for your respond on this.

Skynet Worldwide Express I didn't receive my parcel and did not get the call for them

my parcel 27/3/2016 were arrived to the branch at JHB, but the staff never give me any call, because it already delay for 1 week, so I call to the branch just know about that the parcel were expensive stock so they said if I did'nt call them, they were never delivered to my home. You should give me a call for telling about that the stock you cannot delivered without my permission!

Skynet Worldwide Express service

I've got a call on 28/03/17 that delivery will the next day but nobody showed up and when I called back to inquiry they it will be delivered after some but still no one called..next day on 30/03/17 they called and said that the delivery guy tried to contact me but couldn't so I ask how come he couldn't contact me while you guys still can..waited for more than 5 hours still nobody called and I called back again to talk to a supervisor but they said he's not on his seat..so far this the worse courier company I've had business with..

Skynet Worldwide Express lorry driver

the skynet lorry driver who was driven WED 8920 today to deliver goods to one of our resident here was rude with the security and the building management. This is the second time i am complaining about the same person. why can't skynet keeps a responsible driver with you. we ask the driver to stop the engine due to the exhaust smoke produce from the lorry harm for the resident here. at that time he refuse to stop his engine there was kids and elderly people around. when the guard approach to the driver, the driver scolded them in vulgarer word. Is this how the skynet response to my first complain? driver name: MOHD SAZUAN. happen in 8 petaling condo at 1240 hrs he leave the condo at 1300hrs almost 20 minutes he created the air pollution. We are totally banned this skynet driver to enter in to our building. Skynet Worldwide Express my parcel box were forced opened, why?

Last week my parcel arrived open LPKEN000000244359858, very light huge box.
then your warehouse staff help me open to check and items missing, left in airport?

Yesterday my 2nd parcel arrive total opened and not sealed.
LPKEN000000245361507 - nothing missing this time
but look at the bent line in the box you know it has been forced open over and over again.
And the SKYNET delivery guy did not even call me on my mobile.
In the past they called and you get your parcel on good shape.
These last 2 rounds they did not call and the parcel become badly tempered with.

I know SKYNET can make a case at ebay and paypal refund me, but is not the seller fault and seller lost his items. if this happen too frequent, both seller and me will be blacklisted, this is serious.

May someone please call me and explain what is going on?

Skynet Worldwide Express poor service (skynet melaka)

bad very very bad service...the driver did not even hon and call my phone no to receive the parcel.but they sent out the slip said to self collect my parcel.leaving a phone no. to call but they did not answer it and rejected my call.

then i make a complain to Lazada because i've ordered my item there and the customer service said that i am not around when the skynet delivering my parcel.Me and my mom in the house at that moment! and Lazada said that Skynet will have 3 attempt to sent out the parcel, and will make the 2nd attempt by this week.Yay! no self collect for my side!

And after Lazada sent out the report to Skynet, this fella from Skynet sms me and said that the driver is not around and will sent my parcel tomorrow, then i said pls call my no after honking the van. he said the driver will only hon and will not call.WHAT?!? lousy delivery service!
Pos Laju will make sure the parcel is received...and this stupid lousy SkyNet Melaka just ask us to self pick up.
And whatever it is, they need to sent out my parcel in front of my home . I really hope Lazada just cut ties with Skynet. This really effects Lazada reputation. And Skynet just shut down your lousy service & let the professionals (Pos Laju or GDex) do their job.

Have been delay my parcel for 10 days. each times lodge complain. they will asking for 48 hours. if u ask 10 times, then 48 hours X 10 times. What the hell is happening to skynet. Your service dam sucks. you hide all people complain in your FB. luckily got 3rd parties platform to complain and show how unprofessional you are. For those people who intend to use this currier service. think 48 times before u proceed.

I already waiting more than 10 day, check with HQ already arrived to malaka 8th August but I everyday at home no listen any horn no received any call from delivery service call to malaka office also no response I am very very very angry.please teach your delivery boy or change the delivery boy thank you

I think everybody dont use skynet service anymore. It happened to me this afternoon. I did tracking, the parcel arrived melaka wednesday morning. Two days never arrive my house. I went asking for the parcel. They keep busy checking and the said the van has come twice but im not home..that the [censor]. I was at home the whole day yesterday. that what happen when they employ drug pusher to work there. the workers there seems all malay( melayu tak makan babi) tapi very rude mcm babi.. customers pay u service

I think let's not play the race card here, although coincidentally all the staffs are of a particular race as I'm thinking the issue is probably deeper than lazy M race. As you may have realized the services of Poslaju and Lazada Express are considerably good, back in the day there were complaints about Poslaju not being 'laju' enough but my experiences with them these past 10 years were all great. Notice that both above-mentioned companies have the same race you mentioned in your post, working as staffs there, but their services are good. I have an inkling that perhaps Skynet itself sucks as an employer, causing the staffs to retaliate and not motivated at all in servicing the customer base so that this will give Skynet a bad name (while the workers try hard to find jobs elsewhere) and hopefully make Skynet may rethink their employees benefits etc?

Yes, this is true in melaka. The guy asked us to go down pick up and don't care even complain. He dared to threaten me tengok ape when i asked that's him didn't want to walk up staircase! Never send and call and ring the bell but blame us not at home! It's useless to call up centre because the operator will give you their boss contact number to complain... Is that our job?

i got 2 issues to complaint:
1) PLEASE FIX YOUR CUSTOMER CARE LINE SERVICE! IT'S SUCKS! i call the number so many times in few days and it's always busy n no one pick up ? seriously ? i wasn't just tried to reach out to one of ur number, i called all of them ! and all the numbers happen to be the same [censor] ! this wasn't the first time, it happens before.
2) YOUR DELIVERY SERVICE IS BAD ! my recipients complaint your delivery guy never call them before they make the delivery (since your delivery time is never efficient, people sometimes have to wait 1-2 weeks, so u can't expect the recipients to wait for your delivery guy every single day for 1/2weeks. so please MAKE A PHONE CALL TO THE RECIPIENTS BEFORE THE DELIVERY!), all they got was just a memo asking to self pickup ? well i know this can be a hassle, that's why you should have a policy to call the recipients (or at least send out a memo to the recipient's number) first to confirm the date n time for the parcel to be deliver, this can save your time and energy too !

if this wasn't because the contract my company has bound to your service, i will never ever use yr service again! you will lost your customer slowly and your company will shut down if this keep happening and you never going to fix it

Skynet Worldwide Express delivery service

Tracking no: [protected]. Today, 11 march is the last day delivery for my refrigerator(refer tracking number). When i check the tracking number, it has been delivered to mistransit start on 7 march but i do not received any call regarding this problem. This is not the first time it happen. The price is expensive but not standard with the delivery service. I hope this not happen in the future. Please take any action as soon as possible. Tq
