long wait time/ stalls that do not work
My husband and I waited for over 20 minutes today to be able to order one drink. 11 stalls at the Clarksville, Arkansas sonic were taped off with caution tape. The stalls that remained open were not operating correctly. We watched numerous people leave without ever getting their order submitted. We were only able to finally place are order by using the cell phone app.

Employee was VERY RUDE, nasty attitude, threw my condiments out the window on purpose and even after a repeated of my order she got it wrong three times not to mention I was in line for almost 20 minutes, never again will I come back here until they get that little girl who does not have patience at the window you have to be prepared for customers .
bad management
Yes my daughter was doing training at a Sonic Drive In, in West Frankfort, Illinois and she was told by Seth a manager that she had to wait for Miranda another manager that's dealing with the Herrin, Illinois Sonic when it's done FOR HER TO GET HER SCHEDULE AND NOBODY HAD CALLED MY DAUGHTER SO THEY TOLD HER THAT SHE WAS NO LONGER ALLOWED TO WORK FOR SONIC BECAUSE SHE HAD MISSED 6 DAYS WITHOUT BEING TOLD THAT SHE WAS STILL WORKING. THEY WOULD NOT TELL HER ANYTHING UNTIL I CALLED THE MANAGER AT THE WEST FRANKFORT SONIC TODAY. IT'S REALLY SAD THAT SHE MAY BE ONLY 17 WITH A CHILD AND SHE'S HOME SCHOOLED AND TRYING HER HARDEST TO FIND A JOB TO SUPPORT HERSELF AND HER DAUGHTER. THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN HER A SCHEDULE SO SHE WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT SHE HAD TO WORK AND THEY DID NOT GIVE HER ANYTHING JUST TOLD HER TO WAIT FOR MIRANDA TO CALL HER.

When I tried to call I asked politely if my application was being considered and if she'd call me (since she runs interviews mostly) and she snapped at me saying she does interviews on Mondays 4-6 then proceeded to hang up on me in the middle of the call. She's also yelled at my friends over the board, and always seems upset no matter the time. I've never done anything to her, I've only ever ordered food politely.

I hope what I heard about some of the employees at the Fort Smith, Ar location on Greenwood a Road is false. I was told that a manager and a cook was doing drugs on site durning business hours. Something about hiding it in the ceiling tiles in the bathroom. I hope it is just a rumor but thought you guys might want to check and make sure. Normally where there's smoke, there's fire. I enjoy eating a sonic and when this was brought to my attention I wanted to let someone know before something bad could happen. I would like to remain anonymous. Thank you.
rude store manager/cold or old food
I went to Sonic tuesday morning for breakfast, and Rachel, the store manager was very rude to me. She was snatching my credit card out of my hand which game me a cut on my hand! Upon receiving my food I found it very cold, my burrito was soggy and cold, the tatertots were very cold and chewy. I am very disappointed at the way I was treated, I come to this location almost daily and I do not deserve to be treated the way I was. Unacceptable.

Twice in one week, I left this place DISGUSTED. Customer service here is aweful! Manager, Sheila is a horrible example to her associates of what customer service is about. I ordered fries, mozzarella sticks, a strawberry Sprite, and a float. There was no ketchup, ONE marinara for 6 sticks, no spoon for the float, and the Sprite was regular (not strawberry). While awaiting the corrected Sprite (that I had to pay 50¢ for the strawberry flavoring the forgot), I ate 3 of my 6 sticks and was out of marinara. I asked the guy for another marinara when he came back, but he said they would charge me. I pushed the red button and got the manager who tells me I only need 1 sauce. That is a slap in the face when I just don't $14+ and understood all of your errors with my order. No courtesy! I called your complaint line, and the guy I spoke with and told the story assured me that he would get this complaint into the right hands, but he seemed to not be very attentive during the call. I asked him what the manager's name was that I mentioned; he couldn't even tell me! Just disgusting all across the board! I really hope this letter gets into the right hands.
bad customer service
I have went to Sonic @ S. Post Oak and Orem Tuesday and today of this week. Tuesday I parked and placed my order for a RT. 44 slush. After waiting 15 minutes I called them and asked what's going on, they told the drink was coming out after 10 more minutes I drove off without a drink. No one ever came out. Today I went there tried to order but no one answered after 10 minutes. Please fix this.

sign up for sonic app and get a free drink right did not work ended up paying for the drink reason some app issue. Hit my birthday two days ago get a free small shake . So we followed the instruction hit a button with the car hop watching confetti balloons and system error hooray your stupid to trust a sonic app twice. Car hop looks accusingly at me like im trying to rip off sonic for 3 bucks. I showed proof of date of birth she hits the redeem button same thing . So no drink, i refused my order . Make me look stupid over a free drink no system in place to back up a faulty app. ? I USED to drop 2-300 in sonic a month. Make me feel stupid ? There are other burger fast foods out there and im sure if their apps fail, the store will honor the promise.

I went to sonic drive in in Independece Kansas on August 23, 3018 and the messed up on my drinks I order a sprite O and a cherrie limeaid and a Fanta orange and my drinks were wrong they did not even give mustard for the corn dogs my ticket number is 292 the employee number is 189 not happy this is the second time and still have not heard about the other complaint I made.

Upon finishing the popcorn chicken I tipped the container back to eat the crumbs, something non chicken fell into my mouth, it is white and heard but seems like some kind of compressed powder. I spit it out due to the foreign taste. This is a bit concerning since I can not identify the item. I worked for sonic drive in YEARS ago, for about 5 years, I can not recall detergents we used other than floor cleaner at the time that could be related.

Be aware that this Sonic Restaurant puts unwanted harmful items in your shake, and nothing was done. They didn't even offer to compensate for the cost of my check. After purchasing my item I drove off and noticed that there was too much whip cream in my shake. I was too far to turn around so I just ate the whip cream until I got to the ice cream. I then noticed a strange object in my shake. It was too dark to determine what the object was. I called the supervisor, and he said to take pictures and he would have their insurance company call me. My stomach was so upset after this. After talking to their insurance Company, they determined that nothing could be done and as I said before they would not even offer to compensate me for my cost. This is not acceptable.

Clifton Colorado. Ordered the 2.99 double cheeseburger and med. Tot says goid through labor day. They were rude and said they do not have that special even though it is on their website and on tv ads. Shake menu says coconut cream ansd banana cream shakes. Nope they don't have that any more. This is the very last time I will ever go to a sonic again.!

Tuesday, August 21, 2018. My husband decided he wanted a Sonic burger and onion rings for dinner. I went to our local Sonic, 1906 St. John Ave, Dyersburg Tennessee. The lady came over the speaker talking so fast I couldn't understand half of what she was saying, so, I went ahead and ordered the 1/2 price cheeseburgers and a large order of onion rings. Everything on the screen was correct. The server came out with my order, onion rings only. I told her what I had ordered. She went back inside to ask the manager about it. She came back out and told me there was not an order for my stall with 2 cheeseburgers. SO, I had to wait another 10 minutes to get the rest of my order.
Don't get me wrong, the food was very good. The service, not so much. Even though it was their mistake, I still had to pay for the order,

A manager named Kelsey cut me off while ordering again, and I did not get to finish my order. I received half of my order and then she came outside after I had to push the button again to order she said " what else do you need" extremely rudely. She proceeded to just give me free drinks because she gave me more drinks on top of the ones I already ordered. I am no sure how this continues to happy but it's getting out of hand. She does not have any respect or care when serving and constantly cuts me and other consumers off while taking their order.

I went to Sonic on Whiskey Rd in Aiken SC. on 8/20/[protected]@ 3:54 and ordered the Classic double cheese burger special with the tots with chili, cheese, onions and a medium Fresh fruit strawberry slush which they said would be $ 6.[protected]@ 4:16 I still had no food so I called back in and informed them that I was still waiting on my food and was told it would be right out. I watched people come after me get there food. So at 4:28 when I still had no food I left because that really was ridiculous to leave a customer waiting that long for anything.

I went to get food for the family I returned home with burgers and what I thought was chicken sandwiches for the family but little did I know that when I checked the food I was gonna find bugs on my burgers and one of the chicken sandwiches was very hard and odd looking smelled kinda odd to with farther inspection I noticed the sandwich was actually part of a rat which had gotten fried another complaint I also have was the employees were rude I talked to multiple managers after this tragic event and they had serious attitude problems with me I feel they should be fired especially that guy named Kris he smelled like he baths in weed its crazy that such a well known company allows people like these guys to work for them

This place is very nasty an as a former employee I thought I share how nasty (sonic drive in) in Orlando Florida 32819 is an how much they don't care about weather there customers is served healthy good quality food all picture you see is pictures of me coming in the next morning from there closing very nasty an this needs to be addressed as a general manager she should've took care of the problem but instead she come an go when she wants never on her schedule time an leave her managers to struggle her name is Maleah the general manager a ex convicted she look just like that tattoos all over her like a gang banger not a good look for Sonics nasty attitude the store always runs out of different thing the store barely pass the health expections due to us not have sanitize dishes dirty why are they on the clean dishes grease straps not dumped over flowing on the grill the trash not tooking out over night the hot dog roller not clean at all just felt as is grill grease pan filled never dumped the floors this place is going to get someone sick there very nasty an don't clean this is a problem

Today I went to Sonic, on Airline Highway in Metairie, LA, to pick up my boyfriend and I a quick lunch. I ordered the food and waited for quite a while until it finally came. I asked the girl if she was sure the order was correct so that I didn't have to come back. She said I could check to see if it was and that they woukd correct it if not. Sure enough, I ordered my boyfriend a peanut butter shake and she brought vanilla. I buzzed the button and once again waited. After a while someone responded. I explained that they brought the wrong shake and she told me the correct one would be out there shortly. I waited...and waited. Finally I got out of the truck and went to the door with the wrong shake to see if it was ready. She said she would bring it to me when it was ready. I told her that by that time the food would be cold and that I just wanted a refund for the entire order. She said fine. I told her to take the food and she said to throw it in the nearby trashcan. I decided that since they were going to throw it away I'd bring it to the homeless guy that hangs out by the Walmart store being I had to drive right passed him to get home. So about 10 minutes later a manager and the employee come out and show me a paper with what was supposed to be my refund, but she said she could not give me a copy of the receipt. I took a look at it and it only had refunded the shake. And then I said that her employee told me to throw the food in the trash and you are only refunding the shake? Then the girl says you didn't throw it you put it back in your truck. So I got the food that I was going to bring the homeless guy and brought it to the table by the door. I told her I wanted a copy of the FULL refund and I was not leaving until I got it. I went back and sat in my truck and the manager threw the food that I was going to give the homeless guy into the trash can. I waited and waited...no one came with my receipt. I buzzed the button and they said it was coming...still nothing. Finally I laid on the horn and a man sitting at a table says something to the girl...and she said very loudly, "she'll be gone soon, I've called the police." So I buzzed the button again and thanked them for calling the police because not providing a receipt when it is asked for is likely going to go in my favor and "I had no plans to leave without proof of my refund"...especially after she threw the food in the trash. Had they been nice to me about it, I may have just sucked up the refund and gone away dissatisfied. But instead, I left pissed off after over an hour ordeal and never to return to Sonic again. EVER! And to think I gave that ungreatful child a three dollar tip for NOTHING BUT [censored]. She goes home with my money, I have to go somewhere else for lunch, and Sonic throws food that can feed hungry people in the trash.
royal oak, michigan slow service
I regularly come to this location because I live close and enjoy their products but every time i come it takes 30-45 minutes just to receive a few things. Its like nobody works here or everyone is blatantly lazy and not doing their jobs. Sometimes our order will be wrong or I have to ask them to blend their slushes after I receive them because they seem to "forget". This location needs a new system or new workers because the service is terrible.
