We order food at Sonic in Vero Beach. We repeated several times to order a chili Coney Dogs - No cheese, raw onion. We ended up getting to footlong dogs with cheese. Fries were cold, no ketchup provided. I have attached our receipt. I couldn't complain because we left and had to meet people in Sebastian where we live. This is the only time we have been disappointed in service here.
The Oder was wrong, cold and we were not satisfied.

I stopped by the sonic on Reynolds Rd at 9 pm. I orders 2 small shakes and a medium shake. I knew they would be busy but felt 20 minutes max should get me my drinks. Boy was I wrong. 35 minutes later I buzz them and ask about my shakes. I've seen cars come in and get good and leave while I'm sitting and waiting. I was told they'll be right out. 10 minutes later I push the red button again. I could have milked the cow by then. Was told again, they'll be right out. Another 5 minutes go by with a car hop coming to ask me if I ordered ocean water. I told him no, I ordered shakes. Just 3. Pushed the red button again and asked them about my shakes. Told the same thing, so I just asked them to credit my card back and cancel my order. It does NOT take an hour to make 3 shakes! Period.
Sonic used to be my favorite place to go but it is slowly driving me away. Not my idea of good service.

Order taker can't hear to take orders. I asked for a manager. Young girl comes out claiming to be a supervisor interrupted me twice so I had to tell to just listen and then she can respond. She kept rolling her eyes and exhaling. Then tells me they have several equipment problems and that they don't want to invest to repair the issues. So I suggested a sign or envelope closing those stalls. She said they can't do that. So I asked for a number I could call to complain she said she isn't allowed to give the number out. So I asked her to call and she refused. I asked who her supervisor is and she called over a carhop and walked away. The carhop said all he can do is take my order. They seem to miss the point... If they just fix the problem it won't be an issue. He tells me the manager just pulled in. She comes out tells me that there are zero equipment issues. So why was I told there was and if it's not an equipment issue it's an employee issue. She told me she had addressed the issue and it will never happen again. I asked when she did this since she just drove in the lot. She said they know what to do just turn up speakers and asked could I hear the order taker I said yes so she said see there is no issue. So for giggles I pressed the button and told order taker I had placed my order but they said they could not hear me. She apologized and asked how she could help. I start to place order and she says she can't hear me. Manager is standing right beside me. So I said I thought it wouldn't happen again that you handled it. She tells me there is still no issue so how do I get my order? She tells me she isn't there to argue. Never did get the order and she never did address the issue or answer my question.
timing and rudeness
Was just at sulphur sonic drive and I was treated very rudely during my order and I had to wait 20 minutes! All I wanted was just two drinks and normally they are fast on service. The girl that answered for my order sounds annoyed at first and wall in the process of ordering my own drink she put down the wrong thing, I corrected her and she started being rude and saying is that all and is there anything else you want in a rude was. I work in food service myself and I understand bad days but do not take it out on a customer! When the carhop Ethan was sweet and apologized for the wait! I hope the girl that took my order can be talked to about how to talk to a customer during an order.

We just went through the sonic drive in here and ordered 2 chicken strip meals. When I opened mine up, I had ONE
chicken strip and 2 chicken bites which were the same size
as a tater tot. We did not open our meals until we got home or
would have returned them. These people package the dinners
so have to know what they did. Please get in touch with these
employees and this company. We are in Evans/Greeley CO

out of ice cream, greasy sidewalks, very unkempt business
Family and I visited Sonic on Space Center Blvd in Houston on Saturday, 7/21 around 4 p.m. Although we have received bad service in the past, and many on local social media are bashing this place, we decided to give it another shot (convenient location). After all, how could they screw up ice cream cones? Surprisingly their ice cream machine was out of service. We just laughed and moved on. Not before noticing how run down they are letting this place get. Extremely greasy/dirty sidewalks and patio area, unkept landscaping and a staff that was more interested in visiting with friends than cleaning the place up. This has been going on for quite some time and they continue to lose customers. Based on the number of overall Sonic complaints, I'm glad I'm not a shareholder as it appears no one is correcting these issues.
drive through / food order /customer service
I picked up an order via your drive through less then 15 mins ago. When the order was read back to me at the window the order was incorrect. When we advised of the correct order, the guy was rude and we still got the wrong order. Was not given a receipt to even see what we paid for. All the food is cold, the burger, fries, and Chile cheese totes. Had to be microwaved in order to be eatable. Drinks were filled to the rim with ice and had almost no beverage inside. Worst experience ever. Complete waste of money and my time.

I am at location 3025 n Galloway Dallas tx 75150 where we ordered and it took 16 min to receive. I was told the wings took time to cook but it does not take more then 10. Nadia was not knowledgeable in what she did know and did not seem concerned with anything. She also didn't bring all the order out and then proceeded to question really I didn't hand them to you? I am disappointed because it seems they were concerned with having the numbers on reports reflect service standards and not real time lines. There for when my order started it was on it's way it was not. This was on check 259 @ 2:13 pm.
milkshakes

I ordered 4 milkshakes at 4:37 p.m. on Thursday, July 19.
I parked right at the "carhop door" of the building (about mid way of the line of stalls), since it was 101º outside and it was ice cream - I thought it might help, since I was taking them home.
At 4:39 the carhop retrieved the ticket and at 4:42 she came out the door with a tray full of drinks and also carrying a drink carrier with 4 milkshakes.
She proceeded to a car on the opposite side all the way to the end by the highway to deliver a drink ($1.09) then to a car directly across from me with 2 small drinks then further up the other side (out of my view) and at 4:48 came from around the building's back and showed up at my car... to which I tipped her much to my shagrin. Would it not have been better to serve the $16 worth of ice cream FIRST? By the time she got to me even the whipped cream was melted!
I am very disappointed to say the least. Surely they are trained differently.
Even if I wasn't the next in line - leave it in the "cool" building and come back for it, especially since I was right there at the door!

noticeable decline in quality of food
We have been sonic fans for more than 25 years. Unfortunately, the food went down the hill. The tots are soggy, meat dry and tasteless, lettuce is chunky and often we get the white part of the lettuce not the green. Buns are flat like someone has sat on them and have no flavor.
The hamburgers don't look nothing like the pictures.
Not liking mcdonald's in the past we gave them a try and voila! The juice drips off the patty, lettuce is chopped and tomatoes are actually red!
Sorry sonic, you suck! I forgot to mention that we had this same experience in more than one location. Gonzales, tx, bastrop, tx, cedar creek, tx.
Drive thru system was down do had to order from stall. Only thing I ordered was a sweet read and I sat for 15 minutes waiting for a tea. Totally ridiculous!

I ordered a large Popcorn Chicken largr combo and a 6 piece honey bbq wing combo. After waiting 20 minutes they gave me a "light ice" (it was filled with ice) medium drink, small chicken and small side. When I told then I ordered a large combo they said "you didnt specify you wanted a large" even though they clearly charged me for it. The wings were not even honey bbq but something dark and spicy.

I NEVER go to Sonic. Never really think about it. But I got home from work, tired. Seen the "New" chicken tenders and thought hmmm, those look good. WORSE mistake ever. But now I'm wondering. Is it really the chicken tenders or is it just poor teenage management, because that is what you have working there. There is nothing worse than spending my hard earned money to go and get food that I just experienced. The fries I'm pretty sure were from yesterday and the chicken from last week. That Sonic is giving your name a really bad reputation. I will NEVER eat at that place again EVER! They have ONE job and they are not getting it right. Sincerely, a very disappointed customer.

Got the saddest chicken sandwich I've ever seen in my life. It was so dry it was inedible. It was absolutely disgusting. Looked like something that sat under a heating lamp for several hours and should have been thrown away. All my food was cold when I got it. I received the wrong size tater tot. The condiments I requested were not received. Just so disappointed. Would not recommend.
I went to the Sonic in Rogersville, TN last night. On the board it said 1/2 price single cheeseburger after 5. I ordered a single cheeseburger with fries and a drink. I also ordered a chicken sandwich with fries(without salt) and a drink. When our order came out, we had been charged full price for the cheeseburger and when I said something, that told me it was because I ordered a meal. My fries without salt turned out to be tater tots with salt. I have had several bad experiences with Sonic here. I quit going for a long time, but recently started back. A cheeseburger that is advertised 1/2 price, should be 1/2 price regardless what you order with it. I am on a sodium restricted diet and tater tots with salt is not what I ordered. I don't think I will go back unless they get their act together.
slow service
I often stop at the drive though at sonic on my way to work. The one in Palestine, Texas on the loop has to have the slowest service available. It usually takes 2-5 minutes for them to take your order. Well today was the worse. I sat there for over 6 minutes and still had not placed my order. I finally just left without ever even placing an order. Will not be stopping there again. That is an unreasonable amount of time to wait to place an order. When I drove away, there were 3 employees standing around the station where they are supposed to take your order laughing and talking. Will not go back.

I ordered cinnamon snacks from sonic and it was not cooked all the way. The dough was raw and my food was cold. They totally forgot to give me my icing for it. I also ordered a footlong corny and some cheese tots. I was let down because that was cold to. So at the end of the day I went home with cold and uncooked food. I am very disappointed and I will probably not go to this sonic again.

You should really look into the management of store #4282 at 2547 Chimney Rock Rd in Hendersonville, NC. This past Thursday 7/12/18, I stopped there at 7:30am to get breakfast. I sat in drive thru for 7 min with no acknowledgment from any employees. I finally left. This evening, 7/14/18, my daughter stopped to get dinner. She sat in drive thru for 10 min with no help. She pulled into a parking space and sat for over 5 more min before someone took her order. Then has to wait 10 more min to just get her food. This is poor customer service! If people continue to wait this long for service, you're going to lose a lot of business!
rip off advertising
You have a picture and a price on the order board, when you order what is on the board in the picture you try to rip people off by up charging for items.
Example #14 has a breakfast burrito, tots and iced coffee. The board says 4.99. When you order exactly what's you have shown in the picture there is a .70 up charge for the coffee.
That is not right doing people that way. You are taking advantage of the consumer. Then they showed me the not legible print about specialty drinks in the upper corner. What a public rip off. Shame on sonic for leading people to believe there getting what's in the picture and up charging them.
unsanitary employee
My family and I ordered 4 shakes. When we drove around to the window witness the employee grabbing the cherries with his bare hands and put the cherries and cherry juice on top our shakes than wiping his hand on his pants and doing it again until he had cherries on all 4 shakes. When the young man and the girl working the window came with the shakes I told her I didn't want them and why. She called the manager to open her drawer to give me back my money but she never told the manager why. I drive around the Building to the side door and called the manager and told him what happened. He assured me that it would get handled. I sure hope so that's so disgusting and nasty. That's why a lot of people.get sick and get diseases and don't know how. That's one reason nasty employees.
When I explained to my husband why I didn't come home with the shakes he wad highly upset and wanted to report this to the board of health.
Hope I don't have to witness this again.

Sterling KS, 1:41pm. I ordered a #1 meal, Mustard, tots, Coke w/ lime via the drive through. I was asked to repeat the drink order several times and then told to pull forward to repeat again. I took the food back to work and to my disappointment discovered Mayo on the Cheeseburger. I Do Not Like Mayo... There wasn't time to return the food and get new.

I just went to the Sonic on North 1st Street in Abilene, TX on July 13, at 12:50 p.m. I ordered 2 corndogs. It took over 15 minutes to get my food, which I wasn't too happy about, but you could tell they were busy. After receiving my food, I drove back to work. Both corndogs were burnt so badly that they were split open. I tried to eat around the burnt parts, but it was so tough and hard that I finally threw both away. It seemed like they tried to recook food that had been sitting for awhile. I've had problems with cold hamburgers and hard tater tots before, but have never complained until now. I'm not sure I will go back to Sonic again. It is convenient since it is close to my work, but I can't continue to order food and have to dispose of it because it isn't edible.
