carhop named sierra
Yesterday, 01/18/2017, my husband and I went to the Sonic at 2612 W Lee Blvd in Lawton Ok. The girl who took our order and our carhop was named Sierra. When she delivered our order my husband asked me a question about if it was right. She stood there pecking her fingernails on the menu board and rolling her eyes. When she told us the price my husband asked if the card had not worked because he had paid at the card reader. He short answer No, very blunt and actually rude. Rather than apologizing and saying I will do it again for you, she just stood there with her hand out until he laid the card in her hand. She signed in and ran the card. Then instead of expressing regret and saying Thank You, she just folded the card up in the receipt and handed it to my husband and started walking away. He stopped her to give her a tip, which I would not have done. I don't expect that kind of behavior from Sonic nor have I ever been treated that rudely.
greeting employees are made to give
I have spent my entire life with a name that most people can't pronounce. Because of that I'm aggravated when people ask me my name and often tell them it's something that's not, because they to become aggravated trying to pronounce it. So while I understand why you have your people greet customers with "who do I have the pleasure of speaking with, " it annoys me to no end every time I come to your restaurant. This makes me ignore the question which I feel is very rude and continue my order. Despite how I love your food and the service, I leave with a bad taste in my mouth. Please find another way to make your Customers feel special, which is what I know you intend to do
milkshakes
Placed an order for 2 chicken strip dinner and a blt and milkshakes on Sunday 15 2017. The food was so so and the milkshakes had no chocolate flavor at all. 1 was strawberry and it was very weak flavor also. Called the store and the manager said she would replace the 2 chicken dinners and 2 chocolate shakes. Went back on Wednesday the 18. And got the replacements. The chicken dinners were very good. But the 2 chocolate shakes were undrinkable. We could not decide if they were strawberry or chocolate. We're a very weird flavor. Usually shakes are thick but all of these were very thin. Not up to sonics standard. Wondering if something has changed? Was the sonic in Pulaski Va. Sure it's not the staffs fault? But something is wrong.
weiner they use
We love Sonic. One of the best fast food chains in the world. Best burgers by far, however, the weiner they use are horrendous. Worst tasting I have ever had. They have a rubbery texture to them that are disgusting. I am not the only one to complain as there are many in the community that agree. At one point in time they must have changed brands because they were then delicious. However, they must have gone back to the other brand. They are terrible. Not meaning to slam Sonic as they are one of the best, but their hotdogs have got to go. We love hotdogs but sadly going to have to go somewhere else. Sure wish someone would address this. It's the Sonic on Magnolia Ave. In Port Neches, Texas 77651. Please help us down here. Thanks, a loyal customer as of now.
employee's lack of service
I've never ever had to do this because I believe there is a reason for insufficient duties. But, I gave these people a second chance and was unsatisfied with the service I received.
I went to sonic a couple months ago on reelfoot Avenue in union city tn 38261, and while there I ordered a large coke and 2 cups of ice, well it took them 45 minutes to bring me those 3 items, I didn't say nothing because they were kind of busy, no more than 25 cars there. Then last night (1-14-17) I went up there to the same sonic and ordered 3 milkshakes roughly between 9:10pm to 9:15, well we sat there and waited and waited and and 20 min later I beeped back in and asked where my shakes were and the guy said on his way, we'll I watched him go to the fountain worker and tell her something and she started to make our shakes, abt 10 more minutes passed and still did not deliver my shakes, so we left because they obviously didn't care about they're customers waiting forever. The fountain worker was layed up against the table where people's orders were sitting and was just conversating with the carhop, whom was standing there just playing with her hair, I've never dealt with such incompetence at any sonic before and was very displeased. I would of understand if they accidently forgot our order, someone could have came to me personally and apologized for that, instead they all were mad at me because I inquired about my order. I wished they would make right for the way I've been treated twice by the same set of people but they will not. And they were not busy lastnite either. There were no more than 10 vehicles there
usually provides sugary drink when diet drink is specified.
Twice in one week I have ordered drinks to take home for husband and myself. Husband is diabetic and we live ten miles out of town. After getting home and unpacking drinks the outside of cup is sticky. I pour out small amount to test. When it drays on plate it is sticky. Diet drinks are not suppose to be sticky. Called back to complain and both people were indifferent that I spoke with. Too far to return for correct order. Indianola, Mississippi's Sonic has very very poor service. I always tip 20 percent and then feel angry for tipping at all. I have worked as waitress and know that many do not want to tip their server. Who ever the unkind person is that mixes drinks may think that this is funny, but diabetics often do not easily taste the difference between sugar and substitutes. Shame on that person. I will turn my business to other services with nicer staff and alert family and friends to avoid Indianola, Mississippi 's Sonic.
food that I received
I went into a Sonic location on 10/2016. I ordered the 2 meal package for 9.99, with tater tots a sprite for one drink and a frozen lemonade for the second drink large sized. The location that I went to was on Thunderbird Dr in El Mirage, AZ. When I got home and bit into the burger my burger was raw. I have pictures. I contacted the company and spoke with a rep named Vinnie I believe and was informed that they had written my name down and that they put my name down in the insurance book that was listed and that I could receive a refund for my purchase. I was not able to go the next day because I was sick I believe from eating the raw food and was not able to go to work the next day either. I went to receive my refund a couple of weeks later the manager came out to the window that evening and the manager wanted to know what was on my burgers he was going to remake the order that they had me written down, I advised the manager that I did not want the food that I wanted the refund, well the manager then contacted I believe the store director and I heard what the manager informed the director, the manager asked "how do we handle that" the manager then comes back to me and says we cannot give you a refund because we do not have your name in a book. I then asked the manager how is that possible when you just told me that you had my information and you were about to remake the food but when I say I do not want the food I would like my money back then there is a problem. I still have the pictures of the raw food that I received I only want my $10 that I paid for food that I was not able to eat because of your mistake.
the food / manager
ON 12/15/16 I pulled up to sonic. I pulled on stall 10 and pushed the button .It was 6:04. I Sat there at least 30 min before I could get an answer. I finally got a answer. It was 6:25 when someone responded. I asked about the wing special, someone name charice or however u spell or say it answered the button. She had a bad attitude cause she couldn't hear my voice. I had spoken as loud as I could. Then some girl came outside and asked me what I wanted. I asked about the wing special once again. She told me they were bogo Free. So I told her I wanted to try buffalo and hot and honey.she asked me did I want anything else, I told her no . My total came out to be $5.07. The waitress brought my food back out and the wings were hard as a brick. I pushed the button again and someone name Joclyn answered . I told her my wings were hard and wasn't freshly cooked. She told me she would send a manger out. The short lady with a skirt came out hollering at the carhop about my order when it wasn't her fault. It was whoever cooked it. The lady name was daffy. She had a nasty attitude and as she walked in the store she began hollering rudely to the employees. It was 7:14 before I got my food correctly and fresh as it should have been . I will never go back to sonic again. Manager is rude, Food was horrible
food was not good.
On December 14, 2016 at 8:30 p.m., we placed a food order at the Sonic in Tahlequah, Oklahoma (Old Sonic).
The french fries were awful! They looked and tasted like they had been cooked a week ago! I ordered a grill cheese sandwich, and the bread was really old and tough. My husbands cheeseburger was terrible.
Before the girl brought us our food, she decided to stop and chat with someone she knew.
I would like a refund but I through the food away and we also didn't get a receipt.
manager's unethical behaviour
My 16 year old granddaughter worked at sonic up until 12/09/16. She was fired. I do not know what for and I don't care. My complaint is that the manager on duty by the name of Scott saw the need to curse her out and humiliate her in front of other employees and customers. The only resolution I would like is that he be relieved of that management position as he is not suited for the job. It was the Sonic at 6008 14th St. W., Bradenton, Fl. store #6485. I wasn't given specific details because of a need my family seems to have to protect me(congenital heart failure). I am trying to teach the grands and greats that there is always more than one solution to every problem. I started with this complaint first. I'm hoping to see an end to it here so I don't have to resort to any of the other ideas I have on how to deal with this problem. I look forward to hearing from someone with a solution.
food quality
On December 3, 2016 I purchased two Sonic kids meal from Sonic Drive In at: 265 Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd,
Charlotte, NC 28214
Once I got home I discovered that the corn dog I received was burnt. I tried to go to the Sonic Website to email customer service but the site is hard to navigate and does not give an option to contact customer service via email.
need clarification on what is half price drinks
Today Dec 8 I stopped by to get a couple of drinks. I was in line behind two other cars at 3:55pm. When I got to the drive in window I was told half price ends at 4pm. I told her I was here waiting my turn and it just now reads 4pm. She refused to let me have the discount. I've had other problems with this particular Sonic. I like to support my local businesses but this location makes it hard. I've been told half price drinks do not include frozen lemonade drinks also had orders messed up on more than one occasion. Usually I just look the other way but I'm tired of arguing with the staff to get a correct order. If you need to contact me my email is [protected]@verizon.net and my phone is [protected]
malt, burgers
After getting home, opened the bag and the whole order is messed up. We live approx 10 minis from store. Malt is watery, Burgers were supposed to have tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, no mayo. Called and talked to manager, told him it was supposed to be a chocolate shake, two burgers w/tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, no mayo and two burgers w/tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, no mayo add jalapeño peppers. Asked for refund and corrected order. Manager stated that the shakes come out of the machine that way. And that he could either correct the order/give refund. I told him that we are a frequent customer and that if I had to put gas in my vehicle to come back to the store that it would be as if I'm paying sonic to do something that should have been done properly in the first place. Manager refused to give me his complete name, said that his name is Devin Devin. Store # 5895 . Waitress 66 Alexia. Time 8:35. Price $10.52-Phone # [protected]. My husband went back to the store and called me just now saying that they are now correcting the order @ 9:42 p.m. Why did we have to go through all this hassle to get the food that I really like eating? I have never had to go through this out of the 30 something odd yrs that I have been eating at Sonic. I really, really don't appreciate the way that the manager spoke to me. I really feel like there should be a refund given to us.
disrespect
I have a complaint about the sonic on utica in Tulsa OK. My boyfriend has been working the for almost 9 months and it has been nothing but problems from them. They have had issues due to firing people because they were being sexual at work. They have taken his off days away so it's 7 days a week now. The manager name is Angela that has been nothing but ignorant. I've been on the phone with him and heard her pick at him. Call him stupid. Tell him he can't purchase food to take home. She has yelled at him for answering the phone during an emergency with family. As well as told him he isn't allowed to make or attend a doctors appointment around the hours of work that all appointments should be before work. Not fair that's a health issue. I am about to have got surgery. She has denied all requests off to take care of me. Thus being said horrible service. Not to mention good has been served un cooked. I got a Burger that was frozen in the middle.
cheese burger, the tomato is rotten
Sonic in Spring Hill, KS, November 6th around 5:30PM. I would not have known how bad the tomato was, but my wife always removes them from her burgers...The tomato is rotten in the middle. I am not seeking any resolution, just informing you of the situation. OK, this is all the information that is necessary, I'm doing this because the rotten tomato is very obvious to the view and should have never been put on a sandwich.
messed up order for the third time
Tonight for the third attempt at the Sonic Drive in on Val Vista between the US 60 and Southern in Mesa, AZ ( they didn't give me my receipt so I don't have a transaction order. After waiting 25 minutes with only one car ahead of me for my Medium Frozen strawberry lemonade, Large chili Cheese Tots and Bag of Ice I finally got my order. I noticed immediately that the drink was not a frozen but could see the strawberries so assumed they just gave me a regular strawberry lemonade (which the twice before they've done as well). I didn't have time to wait so I resigned myself to it. Until pulling out of the drive I tasted it...I have no clue what it was other than soda water and a couple strawberries but it was disgusting and not at all drinkable. Get home and apparently they do not know the difference between Tots and Fries as it's chili cheese. I get that mistakes happen but for the third weekend in a row I decided it's time to let the power's that be know because at this point I feel like I will have to give up going to that Sonic and wasting my money. If you would like to contact me my number is [protected] email [protected]@yahoo.com.
Sincerely Disappointed again,
Cassandra M Lambert
cross contamination
I recently went to a Sonic Drive-In in Henrietta, NY and ordered an Oreo Blast through the drive thru. When I got it, I discovered there was a sticky substance on the outside and it got on my fingers. Thinking it was some ice cream that was leaking, I took a lick, only to discover that my fingers tasted like peanut. I found out later that, on the outside of my Oreo Blast, were pieces of Butterfinger. Now my complaint isn't about me specifically, but my concern is that if someone with a severe peanut allergy did the same thing I did, it would not end well. I'm not trying to point fingers at anyone, but I don't want anyone potentially getting hurt through this.
taste and quality of food
We ordered 6 wings and a double Sonic burger with a milk shake.
The wings were not done, and the burger did not taste like the same burger that I have bought at other Sonics...not even close. The shake didn't have much of a taste at all but bad. The whipped cream collapsed before it was even brought out. We waited forever to get the order. This was at the 3250 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus Ohio location.
I was expecting the same uniform taste and quality that I had from the Bridgeville, Pa Sonic. I am very disappointed. I had told my Granddaughter you have got to try this awesome food...needless to say it was not.
employees not wearing skates
I absolutely love Sonic and all that they stand for but one of my favorite parts of waiting for my food is being greeted by a server in roller blades as advertised. However the last 5 times I've stopped by the establishment NONE of the servers were wearing skates. I am so saddened by this because i brought my daughter for the first time and couldn't wait until she saw the server come out, only to be disappointed to find all the servers walking out in tennis shoes. I'm not sure if it's no longer a requirement but i would love if things went back to the way they were it made me want to tip more and come more often when the skates were involved. They added a fun aspect that reminded me of my child hood.
Get over it. How old are you?
the new york style hot dog
I have no date nor time because this is happening everyday at ever Sonic every where. My complaint is the if you are going to state that you are offering the taste and flavors of hot dogs from there birth places; then i suggest you make them the way they are originally made. The New York hot dog that you serve at Sonic, here in Columbia SC is very sadly mistaking if that is your imitation of a New York hot dog.that is not how it is suppose to taste, you almost had every thing right except for those sautéed onions that is being put on those hot dogs. It is not right and i am embarrassed to say i am from New York born and raised in Brooklyn and Queens for 30 years of my life. Basically you need to stop making the New York hot dog the way that you are because it says nothing about New York once you take a bite of those onions. Yes the New York hot dog has onions on it but they are not sautéed, the real onions taste comes from something called Chow-Chow, its onions that have a slight sweetness. Any Supermarket has it. I would really appreciate it if. You need to use the correct ingredients on your products especially if your going to say it's from New York, or Boston. It is not right to call that hot dog a New York Style hot dog when your not even making them the original way that they are made. So Sonic correct yourself and do what is right for your business and for your customers, Especially a customer that is from a place that you say you have the flavor of. It just wrong to not represent the New York hot dog correctly. You should not run your business on false impressions. i brought one for the first time and i was pissed out of my mind and i did not appreciate that experience at all. So I had to inform you about the correct way to represent a product that comes my home town and for any other state or country. It's very distasteful, and bad for business. I do not have a problem telling any of my friend s and family and people that i meet to not eat at Sonic because the food will leave a bad taste in your mouth ; if you get mt drift? I do hope that you change your nasty ways when your taking peoples hard earned money on false pretends. So good luck Sonic, if your going to do something, do it right the first time.
My attitude towards my complaint is I feel deceived and lied to and taken advantage of by the company for taking my money then serving me something that is not true as far as the statement that is given about a style and flavor of a product that you have and you have no clue about the product at all. Then have the nerve to serve it like your right. I am very disappointed in this corporation for doing that.
