overpriced for what I ordered
I am at Toronto Pearson Airport and stopped at the Tim Horton's kiosk and ordered a chipotle chicken wrap and small black coffee. My total bill was 8.22. I pointed out that the wrap was listed as under three dollars. The gentleman told me that they were out of the snack size and only had the bigger size. I payed the price but when I opened it, it was the same size as the one that I had eaten the day before in Truro, Nova Scotia which I paid under three dollars as stated on the menu board in both places. I do understand there are price differences in the airport opposed to other franchises but the product was the same size and the worker had told me they had none that size available. Certainly left a ‘bad'taste in my mouth and not an experience that I have ever had at a Tim Horton's.
cleanliness and accuracy
I visited Tim Hortons restaurant in Canmore Alberta and was so disappointed with how it has gone downhill. I couldn't believe the disaster out front and the mix up with orders! I spoke with a staff member and they had told me that the previous owners were forced out and that Tim Hortons stole there store. Shame on you! Worst decision you could ever have made!I will never be back to a Tims again! This is no more a Canadian store. You are all thieves!
food service
I am a frequent costumer at the Tim Horton's located at Bayview and Elgin Mills, in Richmond Hill Ontario. I am often disappointed with the food service I receive at this location. The only reason I still order from there is because the odd time I will receive the correct order and the closeness of the location. This a 24 hour location, as a consumer of Tim Horton's products I expect to have full 24 hour service if the location has displayed they are indeed open and serving 24 hours. Past 9:00 pm on any given day, this location is just about out of all food products. Customers are not able to order anything hot to eat except for soup and sometimes not even. I went recently and was told I am only able to order drinks and cold sandwiches such as chicken salad etc that was around 9:00-10:00 pm. It's upsetting that there is a sign in front of the store the reads " Breakfast Anytime" beside the "Open 24 Hours" sign, yet I can not receive what they are advertising. The crabbed customer service I receive on a daily basis is unacceptable, quite a few of the employees are rushed and careless with the orders. For example; one of my last visits all i ordered was a coffee coming to the drive through around 11:40 pm as I had just gotten off work. The quality of the coffee was as good as could be expected, although it was spilled all over the side of my door, inside and out, and my sleeve. This happened because the employee had not correctly fastened the lid on my beverage. she had such negligence for me and my order that she hadn't even noticed she spilled the coffee on me. I then told her as the window was shutting, and all she offered was napkins without an apology. Honestly I could go on and on about how this location is by far the worst I've ever been to. My most recent visit was today, at 2:41 pm. I was on my way to work so I stopped to get lunch at this location, this was a bad idea. I ordered a large Double Double, when I received the coffee it was a Tripple Tripple. I also ordered a plain bagel with tomato, cheese and lettuce, there were barely any toppings and I was charged for a vegetable sandwich instead of a bagel with extra toppings . lastly I ordered the harvest vegetable soup, I did not receive this, instead I was given chicken noodle. Not only did I not receive the right soup but I was not given the bun to go with it, and I was given a fork, not a spoon. I didn't have a chance to notice these mistakes until I was already at work. I am so very upset about these events occurring on a daily basis. I should not have to go out of my way to another location just because this one doesn't meet standards. I don't know if it is simply poor management or sheer employee based issues but I sincerely hope this location becomes more organized and starts to follow through with their advertising. This location is not representing the Tim Horton's brand well.
service
On Friday, August 30, my granddaughter entered the Salamanca NY Tim Horton's to order a smoothie and an iced tea . After 35 minutes she was waited on and it took 10 minutes longer to fill the order. Both registers were open but on a holiday weekend they had inexperienced staff waiting on customers. We saw several people leave, and many others complaining.
coffee and accuracy
Hi there, I work at a tims in Dartmouth and on my way to work, I stop there for 2 coffees. A medium double double and a medium triple triple with espresso. The last two times they have been made especially wrong. My tt tastes like a single cream with no sugar at all! I take 3 sugar so this is very frustrating. Both coffees have been burnt tasting and are not even drinkable. Even after I asked her to remake them...they turned out worse. This is extremely infuriating. This was around 510 am today and the girl who answers the headset is too quiet and seems uninterested in the job in general. She didn't apologize for the mistakes either visit or offer me a coffee promise. Sadly, you have lost my business. This was such a convenient location on the way to work. Accuracy is important at that time of day..your staff should be alert and able to do their jobs, which they clearly can't. I hope something changes or you will likely lose more business.
sandwich chipotle
August 27th we stop at a Tim Horton around 9 o'clock in Sept-Iles Quebec. I ordered a sandwich with chipotle no 4. There was 2 pieces of meat: a smal and thin piece of meat and a largert one, dark brown but very stiff, so stilf that I could not chew it. I try to break it with my fingers but could not make it. I showed it to the server, she grab it and then I no proof of bad quality of this product.
I plan to make further complaint and will ask for an inquiry to whoever is concerned.

rude staff and ignorant store manager
Time: On August 30, 2018 morning 8:15am
Tim Horton location: 9275 Bayview Avenue, Richmond Hill, Ontario
Staff attitude was extremely bad at this location. A young Asian male staff put in order for me as I ordered 2 breakfast combo, 3 coffee and 2 donuts. As I received my order, I realized I don't have hash browns and went over to ask for that. He immediately got defensive telling me that I have already got the donuts. I responded to him that I wanted donuts in addition to the combo. He then said I didn't ordered the combo. But clearly the receipts indicated I ordered 2 combos. In fact, he never asked me if I actually wanted to substitute hash browns in my combo for donuts but instead made an assumption. He then raised his voice and criticized me for not being clear with my order and it is not his fault! As the manager approached he repeatedly said out loud in the store that I wasn't being clear and IT WASN'T HIS FAULT! I was stunned by his attitude. Frankly, it was such a small deal, even if there were any confusion, as I asked for hash browns, he could have just adjusted the order and charged the difference if the order was based on substitute assumption he made. Instead, he was being very rude, defensive, non-apologetic and pushed off responsibilities. Is there anything wrong with a customer who wanted to have both hush brown and donuts and willing to pay for both? The manager was also non-apologetic and trying to cover off the mistake, which again is an indication this location lack of proper protocol training and customer service mentality. The staff and the manager's bad attitude made this whole breakfast experience extremely bad. The crew also talked the matter among themselves in Mandarin in the restaurant thinking I wouldn't understand but I understood every single word they said. We made multiple visits to this place previously and every single time there was an order issue. And on top of bad communication, the management doesn't care about service quality. It does not seem to be improving with this latest incident.
feces on potato wedges
We went through the drive thru of Golden' s Tim Hortons today to order one serving of potato wedges and one of the paninis. Our driver was eating her wedges when she suddenly asked for a bag to spit into. She then told us that it tasted like some fecal matter was on it. We had to give her strong, anti-bacterial herbal medication to prevent e. coli from infecting her (we are still monitoring her to see if she comes down with symptoms), and have kept the sample for testing, should Tim Hortons not e-mail us back within this business week.
As someone who supported TH wholeheartedly for my entire life up until now, I am absolutely disgusted. She is a senior, and a retired healthcare worker, so her age and work has left her immune system fragile and shaky. On top of that, she so happens to be one of my close family, and I do not take kindly to my family being given food that has come into contact with fecal matter.
Do not, and I repeat, do NOT eat at Tim Hortons. From what I read of other reviews, this isn't the first time fecal and other biological matter was found in their food. They not only have lost us as customers, but our family and friends as well. Dine at your own risk, and listen closely when people say that they have horrific hygiene and overall business practices.
chicken noodle soup
I had Recently bought 3 chicken noodle soup with bagel at the 1910 Yonge street Tim Hortons location after work. I come home (I live near Yorkdale) and as I was eating I thought this big brown chunk was chicken.. IT WAS VERY HARD. TURNS OUT IT IS WOOD. I HAVE PROOF AND PICTURE OF THIS. I will sue because I could've choked on this! Never buying soups from your company ever again. Digusting and unhygienic.
customer service
This complain is related to the refusal for the service by the Tim Hortons Manager, as well unprofessional behaviour and discrimination with no reason. The problem with rude, discriminatory and unprofessional service happened on August 29, 2018 at about shorty before 10AM.
I wanted to purchase some items (croissants, donuts, etc) and started order with a sales person and due to the confusion at their side, the manager (Chirin) intervened with unprofessional aptitude, asking me to step aside until she finished with other customers in line.
I waited in line for about 10 minutes and in no circumstances I should wait for other customers behind me to be served first.
The confusion was that I placed order for dozen items and contuse to place order for another items. Customer serving me asked me multiple times if I still want the first order which I said "Yes". Even it was annoying to be asked multiple times if I want order when I never said or indicated that I do not, and not listening what I was asking for, we would finish purchase without any problem if manager (Chirin) did not intervene.
The manager got impression that I do not know what I want, that I do not understand English, yelled at me, put at the shame and embarrass me as line was very long and some people who worked in the company as I do, were in the line.
I work in the same building where that TH is and I was customer of that Time Horton's every day except weekends. I do have Tim Horton's card with current balance of over $70.00. I used to load the same card for more than a year and balance on card never dropped below $20.
When I said to Manager (Chirin) that I am not stepping aside and all that I want is service in fastest ways possible, she yelled at me telling "I am refusing to serve you".
This is not acceptable customer service behavior in Canada. No one should be discriminated, yelled at, put at shame and embarrassed for no reason other than that person ego.
Refusal for the service is against the law. In response to that behavior and treatment, I did not have chance to purchase at TH that time by asked manager for money refund from TH card. Manager did not know how to refund money on the credit card and did not want to give cash so it was left to be done next day after she get information on how to do refund.
Problem was reported to the owner of Tim Hortons at that location by phone and by leaving voice message. No response yet received.
foreign object in breakfast sandwich
Hi,
I picked up a breakfast sandwich today August 29, 2018, from a Tim Horotons on Major Mackenzie and Dufferin Rd. and as I took a bite there was a large piece of plastic in the sandwich.
After all that's happened in the papers, I've been trying to stick up for Tim Hortons as a Canadian franchise but this lack of care is very disturbing.
Unfortunately I did not have time to go back and get another one as I was at work and it was the only meal I brought with me for the day.
bagel and herb and garlic cream cheese
For four days now I have been gettin my bagels with less and less herb And garlic cream cheese. Seems they are just so rushed that they do not care that WE ARE THE ONES PAYING FOR CREAM CHEESE! It's either in a clump on a quarter part of the bagel. Or spread as thin as butter! I like to taste my cream cheese! Not bagel. Sorry but I don't care how many ppl are in the drivethru! I want what I order and PAY FOR!
business
I've been a regular to this business for years. Their business has almost become inaccessible for the average person. The parking lot has become filled loud idiots throughout the night, yelling, sitting in around the business (giving it a poor image) fights in the parking lot and a common place people buy & use drugs. I've contacted Tim Hortons Head Office, they basically said not their problem if it's not affecting their bottom dollar.
employee treatment
I worked at a Tim hortons and the employees were treated abominably by not only management, the owner, other staff members but customers as well. There is no policy in place to protect employees from abusive customers. The older staff harrass the new hires. Managment sees and does nothing. The time for getting an order out from the time you take it to the time you hand it out the window is 24 seconds. It doesnt matter if the customer orders $50 worth of food. The manager yells at you and the customer gets angry not to mention the people behind them cursing at you calling the b word.
all food
Hello,
I am contacting you from a company. We have a Tim hortons location right beside our office. We do go to Tim hortons one time in the morning and one time in the after. As well every Thursday for our company meetings we purchase $35.00-45.00 every Thursday. Purchasing food and coffee, roughly spending 25$ a day. Every time we use the drive through and place orders they rush and do not provide us with the food as asked. When going through the drive through we are told they do not have time to provide us with the bagels double toasted or certain requirements for the food as they do have not enough time to provide the request as needed as it is a drive through. Last week I was given a bagel that had mold on it. I was given an apology with a 10$ gift card when the order was well over $20.00 with all the food purchased. When you are such a great client to one of your locations you would think you would be accommodated properly.
customer service
At approximately 8:30 this morning - Monday, August 27th, 2018 - me and another female went through the drive thru of Tim Hortons in Portsmouth Ohio located on Chillicothe street. It was during a rush and we put in an order of one medium iced capp and one cream filled donut. On the way to the window we decided to change our order. We apologized and changed it to six timbits and an iced capp. Three or four staff members appeared at our window and kept asking what the problem was, but the girl taking our order remained very rude and impatient. She was irritated from the beginning of our encounter with her. We had already given her two dollars in change but after we changed our order she asked for the total all over again. So we simply reminded her "we already gave you two dollars in change" and she huffed and said "you know what just forget it today, forget it" very rudely. She also waved her hand, shooing us away and shut the window while we sat there momentarily perplexed. As we drove away I called and asked to talk to the manager, working in restaurants my entire life I have never been treated so rudely for no reason. While I was explaining to her the problem, SHE was even worse than the original girl who waited on us. She was very short, mocking, and completely inattentive. Her tone was rude and sarcastic stating that she "didn't know what the problem was, but she guesses she would try and figure it out". There was no sincerity or friendliness that is usually common in a restaurant business. She ended the conversation with an "mmmkay bye" when I realized this was completely uncalled for. I waited a few minutes and called back to get a corporate number or customer service number. A young man answered and when we asked for the number the manager in the background said "no we don't have one" and hung the phone up on us! I have NEVER been treated so poorly by workers at any restaurant. There needs to be a better system for customer service. Why would they treat their customers better when they have nobody to hold them accountable!? Their behavior and mannerisms today were totally unacceptable and then their refusal to help us obtain a complaint or corporate number. I dont make complaints ever, so for me to go out of my way like this speaks volumes. Something needs to be done.
3 different Tim Horton's Restaurants this morning--- espresso machine broken at the first, coffee and bagels with a broken espresso machine at the second, and then "cash only" for the third. So disgraceful that 3 of your establishments cannot properly serve their customers. I went to 3 different locations as I get coffee every morning- but this morning I was unable to due to incompetence and apparent lacking of the things needed to run a successful store. very disappointing. From Columbus Ohio.
ice cap
Just at the Tim Hortons in Oshawa, Ont on simcoe St S.
And got half way through my ice cap before I sucked a dirty human fingernail up through the straw almost choking on it..
The hygiene practiced by this company is enough to make you sick, my next step here is to take this to the board of health as I am very unhappy about spending $3.00 to choke on someone's fingernail and by looking at the nail it doesnt look like the person washes their hands regularly.
food always made wrong
I always order a sausage BELT with cheese in the morning for my father
It is consistently made wrong
-There is either bacon on it instead of sausage
-No egg on it
-no cheese on it
-They forget the tomatoes
-not toasted
The most common mistake is they put bacon instead of sausage
Today, I went and ordered the sausage belt, for my dad.
I Did not get any egg on it and it was also was thrown together.
I then, have to continuously go back and wait in line to get my order fixed and then rewarded by a bad look from the worker on sandwhich unit.
ice capp machine and the service
Everything I go to Tim hort ons in circleville ohio the service is really slow and the frozen ice capp machine is always broke I even called before I went there they told me it was working then by the time I get there and wait in a long [censored] line they tell me it's broke again I don't know what the problem is there but it needs fixed . Thank you for your time Tina fulknier
ice cap
My ice cap had some plastic shards in it that I ended up drinking. I choked on a two-inch piece of rigid plastic that I had to hack in a panic when driving to get it out of my throat. I could feel a piece of plastic was caught in my throat for a few hours after that until I ate some food to dislodge it. I called to inform Tim Hortons about this and they didn't even offer to refund my money.
