food waste
Your company throws away display food. The world is facing a food crisis. People in canada are starving, and you are throwing away display food?!?!?!
There are many shelters which would take this food. Please do not waste so much. You could even sell the old stuff at the end of the day half price, or donate it to the police stations since they love you so much.
I will not be giving you my business until there is a policy change. I love your ice caps but the sugar rush isn't worth supporting bad business practices.
"buy any 3 eligible tim hortons products and receive a $10 tim card"
I attempted to submit my receipt online through the website on four different occasions. It was accepted the first three times, but was sent back to me as: 1) the entire receipt wasn't shown (it wasn't, so I resubmitted)...2) the entire receipt wasn't shown, but it was (it was 16 inches long and I stood above it to take the picture)...3) the receipt was not legible...no kidding, that's what happens when you have to stand so far away.
I also called on two different occasions, only to be told to re-submit. Which I did after the first call, but was unable to do after today's call, as the promotion had ended.
What a scam! I did everything I was supposed to (three times as a matter of fact), and I still got the run around. Funny for a company that spends over $11 million in advertising in the US alone, that you'd continually fight a long time customer over a $10 Tim's Card!
I find it offensive to the point that I plan on avoiding your restaurant in favor of Dunkin' Donuts just out of spite. And I have no qualms in spreading the word to anyone who will listen about how you care very little about their customers.
thrown out food
Tim Hortons at Bloor and Runnymede in Toronto, On.
They have displays of food under glass, and I recently found out that they throw out all this food because it is "display only".
Please either use or donate this food. It is unacceptable to be throwing out food when so many people in Toronto are hungry and we have a food shortage. Please change your practices or I will be boycotting this store and any others that do this.
tim horton fastcard
Received 2 fastcards for Christmas. Unfortunately, by mistake, I was given the top portion of the card and the bottom part was tossed out. When I called Tim Horton's customer service, I was told there was nothing to be done about the mistake because the cards were sold by a third party like Walmart, Costco, and such. I cannot believe that a corporation like Tim Horton cannot put a safeguard in place in order to ensure consumers are not the ones "losing out" when mistakes are made.
In this case, Tim Horton received its share of the value of the cards ($25 for one and $50 for the other), the third party sellers got their share of the card for selling it, and I, a senior citizen, got nothing for Christmas. Plus the purchaser, because of errors, lost their money. DOESN'T SEEM RIGHT DOES IT.
customer service
I was at Tim Hortons on February 12 at approximately 2:30 pm. I was using the drive thru and I was unable to understand the employee and she was unable to understand me so I said I will drive up to the window to explain what I wanted. I drove to the window to explain what I wanted, as I was explaining what I wanted, another employee came up and said, there's no need to be upset, I said I wasn't upset, I was trying to explain what I wanted. She replied you're always a problem everytime you come here, we're not waiting on you and slammed the window shut.
regular coffee with 2 milk
Everyday one of, my employees brings me a coffee from Tim Hortons in Brampton but yesterday when I finished my coffee in the bottom of my cup is a staple which I can provide a picture if required because this is something that is totally unacceptable and if I do not get a response to this matter ASAP I will be going to the CTV News to inform the public about what has happen to me or even a Lawyer to go further on this issue.

disrespectful employees and abusive owners
I am a former Tim Hortons employee and I was recently fired from my job because my manager and owner of the building did nothing to prevent an incident from happening. The incident started when a team leader name Gage Hackshaw had been screaming at people all day and this time he screams at the the people from store front, myself included rudely asking, "Can someone from store come make these [censor] drinks?" And so I confronted him and asked him, "What's the matter and what the problem was?" and he said that they needed drinks made. So I told him in a calm voice that instead of screaming and cursing he should have came up to someone and asked politely and asked for assistance. When I said that, he screamed at me saying, "I am so tired of this! I am sick of you, so shut up and do the damn drinks!" My manager Danielle Greene did NOTHING but try to grab him by the arm but he ran to store front I yelled, "REALLY?" and he just laughs and says "Yeah, really." So before i go to the back i yelled out that he was a lazy piece of sh** and my manager yelled at me and told me to get out of the store. The owner Kasthuri Paramasivam did not nothing but send me my termination letter a week later. This was back in December 29, 2017 and I understand this is late, but I tried to contact the department of labor and they could do nothing because it was out of their jurisdiction to deal with abusive employees if it didn't have anything to do with discrimination or racism. I want the justice for Gage, the team leader for showing abuse towards a co-worker, Danielle Greene the manager for doing NOTHING and Kasthuri Paramasivam the owner for allowing that kind of behavior in her restaraunt! She is a cruel horrible being who doesn't care for her employees and will allow abusive people like Gage work for her country. And I am not the only one he has verbally abuse and physically abused. I ad heard previous incidents that he has put his hands on other co-workers and had not gotten fired for it. Others will say that he has been verbally abusive and he has called employees names and disrespects the manager and the owner but they still kept him because they favor him. I want Kasthuri to have her restaraunt shut down! She DOES NOT deserve to represent the Tim Hortons name if she allows that kind of behavior among her employees! Please take this in consideration! I am begging you, stop letting innocent people be victims of that kind of abuse!

Hello.I received the Tim Hortons coupons to save on selected items..I went into the Ridgetown location to purchase the six donuts for 2.99 with the coupon. .The guy told me they werent taking them as it was over.I told him they are good untill tonight at midnight as thats the end of the day of Feb 6..He said his manager changed the register so the coupon wont work..Again I said its still Feb 6 th so dont know why you dont take it..So I left and went home..I promised the family today I would get the donuts and had some upset children..I called the chathams store and the guy said yes thet are good till tonight at midnight..I knew these coupons were still good.So I called the Ridgetown store back..I asked for the manager and the girl said she wasnt there but she could help me..I again explained the situation to her and she said the manager had taken it out of the register so couldnt do it..I asked her why Chatham Blenheim still were taking them..She justed laughed and said maybe its just this store..If the store is a Tim Hortons why arent they taking them like all the rest of the stores..Im not going to drive half hour drive to Chatham to pick up donuts when we have a store right here in town..Only thing is they wont take my coupon which I wanted to use today..Thank you. hot tea burning my hand
At 7:30 on February 3rd I went to the location on kenilworth in Hamilton and got a black peppermint tea. The staff didn't seem to be paying close attention when getting my tea ready. They took my payment and didn't even check to see if the lid was on properly.
They then passed my tea out to me without it being on properly which resulted it to spill onto my hand and burn me causing extreme pain and discomfort.
Not only did it spill on my hand but it spill all down the inside of my Mercedes-Benz which I will have to get cleaned.
tim hortons on brandt pike, huber heights ohio 45424
I was employed at tim hortons and during a shift I was talked poorly about by a manager and called a "b[censor]" over the headset while she thought I didn't have a headset on. When this was brought to my managers attention he had me take a week off of work to supposedly finish orientation videos that he never gave me any time to complete at the store. Now I am being fired for posting a status on facebook asking if it was normal to be forced to do orientation at home especially when I had very minimal internet access from home. Ever since I complained about the situation I haven't been back to work, I was taken off the schedule, and everytime I call to get information my manager is very rude. He has refused to let me file a complaint and he has refused to give me a higher authorities phone number. I would like to have this situation handled but not sure what to do at this point.

tim service
I was in tim hortons at hurontario and britannia, there i ordered 2 orange pekoe
Tripple-tripple and 2 begels one was everything with extra butter and the other one was Jalapeno with harbour garlic
And for this all i paid about nearby 7 dollors and some cents when i got my order i got 3 items rightly prepared whereas they made one of my begel wrong that was jalapeno
I ordered it with harbour garlic instead of that they gave it to me with butter, when i went back to the one of the tim worker she said they can't make a new one instead of that she tried to give me some extra harbour garlic which i refused to take then she replied to me that she gonna charge me for new begel i told her, i had already paid but she said that doesn't gonna count
That was seriously a bad service. I never expected this from tim horton such a shame that they even can't make their customer satisfied.
caesar salad
I went through the drive thru & ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken & received no croutons or salad dressing. I could not go back as I had already arrived at work & could not. These salads are expensive & all I got was some chicken, bacon & lettuce! The service was great, very friendly staff & good service. They were extremely busy so these things may have been forgotten but still. Who eats salad with no dressing! I would expect a refund or at least a replacement.

poor service
I am a Tim Horton costumer that goes twice a day, and for the past few months I have not complained about the service at mcnicol and victoria park (night shifts). I have had enough of their laziness and lying...yes lying to me, and I'm sure others as well, at or around 10:00pm. Last night ordered 2 grill cheese was told machine is broken...with a suprised look I knew it wasn't the case...she walked over to the machine unhappily and said 'oh our machine gets stuck do u want to wait 15 mins" I said sure ya I'll wait. ..she looked so mad that she had to clean it and make me my sandwich at 10 pm when I asked for bacon in my grilled cheese (which it states I can add on for extra charge) she said they had no bacon! ..next night I just walked back home with a leg I have problems with was told the ice cap machine is broken. (It's NOT she is too lazy to clean and turn it on this has happened so many times I lost count) I don't know WHY I go back but I promise I will NOT anymore. I called the toll free number and can't talk to anyone till Monday. I promise anyone to go there at...10:15 ish and ask for a grilled sandwich with bacon and a ice cap and you WILL be told both are broken. One time I went and manager came from the back I asked why the machine was broken and she looked puzzled and asked the ladies why she wasn't told it was broken...it wasn't I got an apology and that's it. Well these 2 specific ladies do it ALL the time and I don't believe we as customers paying there wages should treat us like that.
set hours of operation.
Ok so I'm not one who likes to complain but I work late nights and after work I sometimes want a coffee I don't drive so I can't go through the drive thru, the 3 main Tim Hortons that I useally go to do not have set hours on there doors or Google when I go to any of them they lock there doors and just ignore the fact k stand there thinking they would just let me in for a coffee but every time I leave, it frustrates me not being able to get my morning coffee and donut I'm sorry for the complaint have a good morning.

I am not going to sugar coat things here. I am thoroughly annoyed at your little price scam of keeping the cost of the Steeped Tea Keurig Pods the same at $9.99 but lowering the count from 14 pods to 12. Most consumers wouldn't catch that, but I did and I'm pretty irritated about it. You should boldly inform the consumer of this. What a scam. This is one of a few problems I've been having with Tims lately. Briefly here are my other issues. The stores mess up my order roughly 30% of the time, and you can ask my husband because he can't believe it either. The cost in North Dakota is more expensive than in Manitoba which makes no sense as wages are less in North Dakota and the Canadian dollar stinks. It's not even affordable in North Dakota. Lastly, I was ecstatic that Tim Hortons were opening up in many areas of Minnesota since I live here now and it's my favourite place. I have come to learn none of the stores sell steeped tea. I'm shocked, disappointed, and crushed to say the least. I'm just too annoyed with the company to be thrilled about taking my business there, so I'm strongly considering going elsewhere. This is really unfortunate.
With heart broken sincerity,
Chrystie
steep tea
the location at Kingston road and Guildwood Parkway in Scarborough in the Esso Gas station, my order has been wrong three times this week, I simply order a steep tea double, double. I was given a coffee, a tea not no cream and this morning a tea that tasted like it had been so watered down and luke warm, this is the location I go to, and it is not exceptable for this type of service. I then tried to call your head office to voice my complaint and spent 6 minutes on the phone with a person who could not find the location, and wanted me to go on google earth to assist him in finding this, and this is your complaints line... I am beyond frustrated right now!
tim card
I lost my Tim Card with a balance of $59.73. I purchased a new $10 card with the intent to transfer the $59 to the new card. I went online to transfer and found this notice "Our TimCard® balance transfer feature is currently under maintenance. Please contact Guest Services [link: http://www.timhortons.com/ca/en/about/contact-form.php ] or visit your local Tim Hortons restaurant should you require balance transfers. We apologize for any inconvenience."
I went into a Tims store and was told because I don't have the card they can't do the transfer.
So I filled in the contact form as indicated. That was on Jan 20. I indicated my card was lost and I needed to transfer the balance ASAP. I received no response.
On Jan 23 I saw on my account that my card had been used and my balance was now $52.
I called lost & stolen cards and was told they couldn't help me. They said to call guest services.
I called guest services and was told they couldn't help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was to they don't have supervisors.
After a very very long conversation guest services finally said they would lock my card and transfer the $52 to the new card.
They did not make the transfer.
I called back later that day (Jan 23) and talked to a different guest services worker. He advised that my card had been locked but that they can't transfer the balance. He gave me a new email address that I was to contact to transfer the balance. So I emailed... still no response.
