Tire rotation
One of...if not THE...most unethical places in which I've ever dealt. Initially sold me tires with the "sale" price only to find out each tire was $30 less at Walmart. Oh, well, my bad. I should have checked.
When selling me the tires, the hook was they told me about the free lifetime tire rotation that came with the purchase. So, I bought them. However, each time I brought the car in for the free tire rotation it took them over 4 hrs. They put people who were paying for new services ahead of me until there were no more new customers, then they rotated the tires.
Finally, today, I brought my car in for another rotation. There was only one car in the bay. The clown salesperson told me I was up next and it would be an 1.5 hrs. I came back after 1.5 hrs only to find they hadn't even looked at my car. Instead, they put new people arriving and paying for new services ahead of me once again. That's the straw that did it for me.
They are scamming people, telling customers that new tire purchases come with free lifetime rotation. However, that service doesn't make money for them. So, they make suckers like me wait for hours, thus discouraging us to bring our cars back for the service--- if they get to it at all. He couldn't even look me in the eye as he lied to me explaining how people magically got in front of me when there was initially only one car. he told me himself. Liar.
Desired outcome: I would like a personal apology from the store owner and a refund of what a tire rotation would cost.

brought it back again the said I had a bad tire this was replaced still pulling hard to right this will be my 3rd day without a car was told nothing wrong with the car I have had my son drive this to make sure I was not being over dramatic he will not let me drive my car says it is dangers
The management is very nasty also the close early for two days and do not inform costumers of the time change please can I speak to someone about this I was also n hold with customer support for over 3 hours with no one answering the phone

Brake fluid exchange
On Aug 30, 2022, I visited Tires Plus at 92 Smallwood Dr in Waldorf Md. I had service performed including "Brake Fluid Exchange" ($81.98 + tax). Approximately 2 weeks later I had my oil changed at another location. I was informed that "I need my brake fluid replaced because it's black"!
How can that be possible. I just had a brake job and my "Brake Fluid Exchanged". That means that Tires Plus charged me for services that were not performed! They ripped me off!
This is not the first time that was done. This is the first time that the person got caught. I've been a customer for years. No longer a customer!
Buyer Beware! Fraudulent practices! Not Good!

Alignment
So I recently went to tires plus for an alignment on my 2007 Saturn aura, after dropping it off two hours later they said they finished work on the car so I picked it up. On just my one mile drive back I noticed the car still pulling heavily to the left but that wasn’t the biggest issue. When I went to park I noticed my steering completely lock up when turning hard right so I went ahead and called tires plus back and they had me bring it back in. After some more hours they determined nothing was wrong other than some minor alignment tweaks that needed to make so they did that without charge. Picked it up, still pulled a little to the left and the wheel locking up wasn’t solved. The next day I noticed a loud sound when turning any direction and found powered steering was low. Took it to a real mechanic who found my steering rack was damaged and had been leaking powered steering fluid. Contacted tires plus back to tell them the issue I have now and they said there’s no way they could have caused the problem. I asked why they didn’t notice that issue like the 5 other issues they said I had they said that wasn’t what I paid for. After getting with the manager he told me I had no evidence they broke the steering rack and they weren’t going to do anything about it except offer to fix it for 20% off. I obviously declined now trying to figure out what to do about this issue given the steering rack alone is $300 and as they stated “many hours of labor.” Do not go to tires plus period. These people rip you off and break more things in the process. I had known from past experiences from family members never to have them do mechanic stuff but I had at least presumed they could do a tire alignment! They are useless stay away!
Desired outcome: I was hoping they would fix the steering rack they broke but refused to do anything but a discount on service
The service on my 2007 Buick lacern
I took my 2007 Buick lecern in for issue going on with front end. It sounds like the the joint in side the hub and bearings is grinding. Tire plus in Wichita is on 37th and rock road change the 2 front tires,brakes and rotors and said that should fix the issue after charging me close to 800. A couple days later I took it back in and they reported they didn’t see anything wrong needless to say I’ve taken it back 3 more time and they keep reporting nothing is wrong and my car still has a shake as well as well as the grinding I’ve almost wrecked twice. I’ve asked them to break the front end down and I’ll pay whatever and they refuse

tire stem broken by store
On or about July 30, 2022 I brought my corvette in for a leak in my left front tire. When I picked up my car the tire was still leaking (the computer was working just fine. I put air in the tire and the computer information went off). I brought it back again to have the leak fixed properly. They fixed the leak but computer would not shut off. When I brought it back for the third time they told me the computer was bad in both front tires. They wanted to charge me $79.00 for each stem. I tried to explain that the computer was working fine before they fixed it the 2nd time. After several conversations trying to explain that it was their fault I was forced to pay for one tire. They agreed to pay for the other one. I don't believe that this was a coincidence and I should not have had to pay anything.
Desired outcome: I want to be refunded the entire amount I had to pay because of their mistake.

I had brakes serviced and repaired over the past two year; the most recent visit, after brakes were done, I continue to hear scraping noises when applying the brakes after driving for a period of time. Each time I would take it back to the Tires Plus Location (Landover, MD), they claimed that the brakes were fine and they did not hear any noises, but my wife and I always heard the noise. The manager (Pablo Merino) suggested that we take the car to the dealership and they suggested that it the noise continued that the brake fluid and calipers be replaced. When we took the car back (of which it was taken back several times because of the noise), one of the staff agreed to do the work as suggested by the dealership, but then I got a call from the manager stating that they would not be doing any more work on the car because each time they work on the car, there is another issue. All I wanted them to do is to just fix the noise that I was experiencing. So, the manager decided to give us a refund for the brake work, but although we accepted the refund, it is just not acceptable that he did not have enough confidence in his mechanic to fixed the problem, and just decided to give a refund to just make us go away. This is very unacceptable and I will continue to spread the word about the poor service. I do see that on the Better Business Bureau web page, Tires Plus has receive an F many, and many more times over and over again. Customer service needs a lot of improvement if this company expects to succeed. The customer experience was not acceptable.
Desired outcome: At this point, I will need to take the car to another repair shop to get the brakes fixed. The whole experience has been very exhausting and frustrating.
Customer service
At 10 AM this morning, as I dropped off my 2009 Venza for its 3 month oil change here in Frederick, Maryland, the clerk wasn't friendly and disrespectful. At first he spoke to me, then realized I am Deaf. I eventually understood that he said, "What are you here for?" I pointed to oil change and I wrote on paper that I purchased my tires here for years thus I get a free tire rotation. I then showed him the Car Care package coupon for $9.99. He wrote, "Do you want the $9.99 package or not? I then inquired about if my free rotation included all the tire service listed on the coupon. He angrily underlines the words while the pen rips the paper,"Do you want the $9.99 package or not?"I spoke (which I believe is clear enough for him to understand me)"Are you mad? That's not acceptable. I'll no longer do business with you." I picked up my keys and left.
As a loyal customer, I have never experienced such rudeness from a clerk. I'm very uncomfortable returning to the store and facing the same clerk again. He showed no patience or respect. I am not sure if it is because he has to write to communicate with me, but his attitude is no excuse.
Desired outcome: As long as that guy is still at the front desk, I will not ever return my car to that business. If he is rude to me, how many more people with disabilities is he rude to?
I am complaining about an oil Change turn to Starter
First and foremost, I would like to say this store is involved explicitly in scheming customers at a high level that is significantly out of control. Store #550655, located at 2800 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 3230. What happened to me today should never happen to anyone. I had an appointment and went there for an oil change this morning vehicle was running perfectly fine there was nothing wrong with the car. I arrived there at 10: 30 am because my appointment was at 11 am. I check-in, sat down waited for my vehicle for 4 hours no one come to me or said anything. I have to call my boss said that I have an emergency and I couldn't come to work when I didn't have an emergency. After 4 hours I came to the counter asking them what is going on I have been waiting for hours this is when they told me after finished changing the oil the car won't start. I drove the vehicle from my house to the store. It didn't give me any sign of a starter or anything like that. They all looked at each other like they had seen a ghost. I don't know what they did it didn't seem like it needed a new starter because I know when a vehicle needs a starter. Because a month ago I had changed the starter. They make me pay $725.88 to change the starter which cost $118.99 on Advance Auto Parts. I'm not sure what type of schemes they are doing at this store, but the store needs to be investigated.

Poor customer service
Had an appointment at 3 pm for tire balance, rotation, and 4 wheel alignment. Arrived at 250 pm and inquired with front desk staff when I noticed that my car was not pulled into a service bay as of 3:47 pm. A Tires Plus tech then brought my Ford Edge into the service bay at 3:48 pm and just left it there. The car did not have any work done until 4:27 pm after I again complained and stayed outside the service bay to make sure they were rotating the tires. The alignment occurred at 5 pm, and the manager appeared afraid of me and apologized. The staff is lazy and not well managed as several were in groups socializing during my visit there. The manager thanked me for yelling as it "woke them up".
Desired outcome: I wasted 2 hours of my time, so one free multi-blend oil change would be nice as a reasonable accommodation.
half shaft
Told my wifes 2005 toyota solara to store #453544. She sad car was shacking at 40 mph. after inspection was found front half shaft needed replacing. We went for both. Problem solved until I looked over the bill. After calling Scott the service adviser and being told that the price of each shal\ft was correct.
i called all three local parts store to find out what I could buy the shaft for. The results were that the price was double the over the counter cost. called Scott back to be told that's the way it is.I use tires plus when repairs on my wifes car are needed this is the first time, I got the shaft.

Dumb manager
Often times when a person is given a bit of power they expand it to the point of being overbearing and end up being ridiculous. The sad part is the Company who they work for may have no real feedback on the actions how this employee is having a negative effect on their business. In this case we have a 22 year old with some manager status telling a customer they can't buy a tire. Yes Mr. President of Tires Plus your employee "Manager" would not sell a customer a tire.
I arrive at Tires Plus on Eau Gallie in Indian Harbor Beach Florida, I have been here before for an alignment and was treated perfectly and while there were some issues with the process it was corrected perfectly. This time I had a screw on my tire and needed a patch. The "Manager" a 22 year old came out to the car and quickly told me the tire was not repairable. I have heard that story before but it was located in the middle of first set of threads from the outside. Truthfully, I didn't question this because I am happy riding at highway speeds without patched tires.
So sell me a tire. Quickly the Kid Manager tells me I have to buy two tires as I need to replace both because my other tire is worn and not the same height as the new one and the computer will go nuts and the transmission will destroy itself. I said I understand but I just want to buy one tire for now and I am not concerned about damage which he claims will happen. Then he notices it is a 4matic drive car and announces I need to buy 4 tires. I laughed and said just sell me a tire and I will be on my way. NO the sniveling little creep says, I will not sell you one tire as you may come back and hold me responsible if damage should occur. I said I just want to buy one tire and that is all.
Having said that repeatedly to this [censored] he decides that since I am not agreeing with him I am calling him a liar. Liar? Just sell me a tire Man!
Oh no you called me a liar and I never want you to come back here again and went back in the store. So I left with a screw in my tire he wasn't concerned about that. Went to Tire Kingdom around the corner and had a new tire installed in 30 minutes.
The idiot was more worried about my transmission than my safety letting me leave with a screw in my tire. He needs to be fired Mr. President.
Tire rotation and alignment
Having trouble at my local Tires Plus to get rotation balancing and alignments. I buy all my tires there and always take the full package to include tire hazard warranties lifetime rotation and balance. This is very expensive. Everytime I try to get that done they decline it saying they're too busy etc. I scheduled this one which was actually approved a little later I got a call saying sorry they couldn't do. This has been an ongoing problem at that store I've had to be doing them while I'm traveling out of town. I actually walked in to figure out why and was rudely talked to by the guys up front. I am no longer going to that store any more and will switch to Mavis as they are also closer to me.

Purchased Tires at Tires Plus In La Crosse WI on October 21 21. I was charged a Road Hazard Warranty with each tire of $18.27 per tires which came to Total of $73.08 for 4 tires. On December 23rd, 21 had one of our Vans with a Screw in the Tire. Told driver who works for me to take it to Tires Plus because we have a Warranty for this. She went there and was told they could get her in on Wednesday Dec 29th 21. The Tire was losing air and they would not fix it.
I don't understand these vans are used to Transport People in Wheelchairs We can't just wait and see if the Tire will not blow while we are providing services.

Never fix, just so they can sell you something new
I was a customer for over a dozen years. A while ago, they stopped plugging tires because it was "unsafe." Then they stopped fixing tires that were "too worn, " even if the wear indicator was a few mm away.
Now, these greedy a-holes will not patch a tire if it was previously plugged!
I ran over a large nail and the leak was too bad to simply pump-up and drive to their shop. So I got a plug kit, plugged it, drove in and was told, WITH A STRAIGHT FACE, "the belts were disturbed by plugging the tire, so it cannot be patched." What a crock! We are talking about a tire, not a damn kidney transplant!
I told the manager to FO and will never visit this Sh**hole again.

Car was taken in on the 8th didnt come back out till the 11th.. Said they put a starter and battery in it... Didnt need it I found out took them 3 days to install it that tkes minutes at the most... Next day I go back to get the other stuff done that I went there for to begin with.. They said I needed 2 control arms and a front end ok thats fine.. Then I need brake pads and rotors bs that gets done, its on the alignment machine.. Then all of a sudden I need tie rods.. This bill came to over 1400 complete rip off.. They were mad because I went over there heads an reported them.. Needless to stay it wont be payed im defenitley going over all of them now... Dont go there they are thieves
