I'm complaining about shoes size
I bought shoes online mid July 2021, size was checked and didn't bother to fit as I was sure of the size of my shoes. End of August I decided to try my shoes on to my surprise both pairs which are my size 5 are lose they are too big. I sent an email at Truworths and was told about return policy which I'm are of but how do I go about if shoes were never worn and realise shoes were /are big 30 days after.

Truworths baywest
My fiancé and I went on Saturday the 28th of August 2021 to truworths baywest. On arrival the security guard informed us that we can enter but when we leave he has to search my fiancé's bag and purse because there has been some stealing.i was totally disgusted firstly there are sensors in the store to pick up if things are stolen. Secondly what right does he have to search her purse. And yet when to white ladies walked in he didn't tell them he needs to search her purse. I then told my fiancé let's leave rather and let's not shop at truworths. I have been to many truworths stores and this is the first time I am told this. Really disappointed in the store. Also the security at the door then informed me if I had a problem with him searching her purse I can talk to the manager.

On 10/08/2021 i applied for a Truworths account online, and it was approved.Received an sms to come to one of their stores with my ID, kept stalling. Head office phoned today, told me my account is active and i should go shop. I went there, only to be told that my account is declined.Phoned head office to get an explanation, was told i have "low credit"
Desired outcome: They should check on their system who phoned my number and hold them accountable for leading me to believe i have an approved account with them. Instead of telling me they don't know why she said that, surely they can do better than that!!
I settled my account on the 26 of April 2021 but even today it's still not yet cleared and it affects my Cradit score.

I opened an account with truworths few years back and I wasn't working by then, it happened that I wasn't pay my account correctly then that leaded my account to be handed over to debtors collectors. Then I received an email somewhere April saying I've been given a 30% discount settlement then I went to Hazyview Ladies Truworths to confirm the email, the store manager told me to go and make the payment, then made the payment on the 26 of April 2021 and send the prove of payment as it was stated on the email. But even today my name is not cleared, I went to all Hazyview truworths at Mpumalanga no one is assisting me. I even sacrificed buy airtime and call still no one is helping me all I get is that "they did get the prove of payment I'll receive settlement letter after 7 days. I believe that by writing this massage I'll get help and be treated as a customer

I bought a brand new Jean from Truworths about 2 weeks back when putting it on for the first time today it has defects like a white line on the one leg. The Jean was R500 and odd rand this is not exeptable! I am working in Moz so it will be extremely difficult for me to return the Jean to a Truworths at the moment! I believe that the stock should be checked how is this fair towards us as customers

Account query for incompetent people
I have made a payment on 27 July 2021, since then I am getting messages and phonecalls for hundreds of diefferent peole at Truworth that keep calling me for my payment, I have se-mail the proof of payment various times and still I get calls telling me I did not pay. I have an e-mail from a Christoper akcnoelegde my payment but still I get called by rude people telling me I did not pay and putting the phone down in my ear.

Service
I went to Truworths Wonderpark and they refused me access because I am allergic to their sanitizer and I preferred to use mine. Why are we forced to use the shop sanitizer? When I asked the manager who is going to cover the medical bills she said I should rather not enter. I have been to that Truworths numerous times using my own sanitizer without anyone at the door. For a loyal Truworths client, I was appalled by their service.
I am so angry right now, i also went to Pta Central Truworths, same story, i used my own Sanitizer, security personnel left her door spot (in the meantime customers were entering without being sanitized) to call Truworths personnel. The lady who claimed to be sales manager named Judy Malopa came and told me i cant be allowed if i do not use their sanitizer, i asked where is it written? She said they have it in black and white, i asked why is it not displayed? She called her manager whom she classified as Mrs Mkhonza and i was made to wait to see the instruction in writing... I waited for almost 10min, when i asked how long i still needed to wait, Judy said there's too much Covid info from H/O, i eventually left. My question is how different is Truworths in Big malls, other branches have no issue with me using my own Sanitizer, are they not getting process from 1 H/office? Pathetic... I hardly go to Pta Central and im sure ill never set foot there ever again.
Prohibited to enter store
On the afternoon of 21 August 2021. As I walked in Truworths store - Wonderpark branch, I took a sanitizer from my bag and was stopped by the security guard saying I may not enter the store unless I use the sanitizer provided by the store. I explained to the guard that I use my own sanitizer as it is the most accommodate for my sensitive skins and condition (I am currently visibly pregnant as well). The manager of the store was called and still I was made to stand at the door and told not enter if I am not going to use Truworths store sanitizer, even though my sanitizer meets the national legal requirements for the sanitizer contents during this Covid-19 pandemic - which she never even considered to request to check. She just said it is store policy. I asked why was that information not made transparent for customers, as one enters the door to clearly state that it is mandatory to only use the sanitizer provided by the store, contents of the sanitizer and the reasons for only using the sanitizer provided. I am deeply concerned by the bullying of this Truworths store for forcing customers to use their sanitizer and not even considering the national rights of their customers, the sensitivity (medical, emotional or otherwise) of their customers and their way of managing situations at hand.
Desired outcome: Allow customers to make use of their personal hand sanitizer which meets the national recommendations and standards of content.
The quality of ginger mary boots I bought in march 2021

I would just like to bring to your attention that I bought a tan choc lace up boot in March and just two Months after wearing the boot, I was not happy with the quality of the boot, I did not know that I could return this boot or even anything after wearing it, as I have never done this before, But yesterday I mention to a colleague about how unhappy I am because of the bought that is breaking and leather pealing off, yet I am paying so much money for the boot which is R750 ...and I haven't even got the boot for a full 6 months! My name is Inge Arendse, After purchasing a men's uzzi jacket from Truworths century city branch I discovered a disgusting finding of a used face mask in the jacket pocket that leads to the conclusion that this item was worn and returned and then resold, I would think that in this times we are living hygiene would be a top priority! This jacket was ordered from another branch and should've been checked before calling be to collect, I'm not paying this much money for something that someone else worn, because if it was just tried on the mask wouldn't be left in the pocket

50% sale product
On the 4/8/21 I bought pyjamas on sale which were ordered for me due to size and was seen on the system that there are sizes in other shops. I then received a message saying the 1 item is not there, can't be found. I had to collect other items. A pyjama top which I had already bought the trouser and a top that didn't have a trouser yesterday. Waverly Truworths checked on the system and found that Brooklyn has x2 trousers of the size I ordered but now, the sale is no more 50%, they say I have to buy with the current sale not the one I ordered with because apparently the item was credited back to my account because it was claimed those pyjama trousers are nowhere to be found, my size . I feel it's unfair for me to buy the trouser I ordered at 50% price, with a more expensive price because I was told the trouser can't be found anywhere whilst was available and is still available in other branches, worse part here in Pretoria.

So said that I found that someone has been buying with my account without knowledge. The last store ( Greenstone true or the) I bought at when I was inquiring why do I have to pay so much money they were very rude and cold.

The jersey and bad service I had from the supervisor
I bought a jersey and I only worn it once and washed it after that it stretched alot so I went to truworths in Mamelodi crossing to query as it was the first time I experienced that and yoh I was soo disappointed of the service I got from the supervisor or manager I don't know but he was so rude telling me that I couldn't swap it. It is of great disappointment that at this day and age we still come across certain individuals who clear don't understand what excellent client service means and what it entails.Today I visited one of your branches in Newcastle (Amajuba) to see if my order has arrived got to the waiting area with two ladies who were busy with cashing up and having their own conversation at the till point and actually took them over 5 minutes to say I can come through.So unbothetherd this lady by the name Phindile ask how I want to be assisted I then explained unfortunately I had not brought the receipt she was looking and she quickly dismisses me buly saying if I don't have the receipt thers nothing she can do I must find it
I respond politely asking if I had misplaced it is there no other way of retrieving my order, she did not even wait for me to complete the sentence and says I will have to get the sms rudely so and carries on with what she was busy with. I step aside thinking let me fetch my phone and see if I cannot get this sms lucky enough I realise that I had brought my phone with... Surely I dnt have truworths no saved I asked her what the context would be so that I can search for the sms as there's numerous sms I receive from truworths the lady responds in very dispectful manner and say check on the day when you placed the order. I than lift up my head with so much of disbelief of the manner in which I am being addressed... I look at her I realise it somebody that I've never dealt with or met before clearly I cannot say she has a problem with me we have not met... A lady on the side intervenes and say let me try and check for you please call out your ID number mind you I have suggested this option not an employee of truworths but dismissed... So I than ask the lady will it be possible because the first lady said it was impossible... The second lady went in with my ID number lucky enough I managed to get to the sms whilst she was still busy searching...she went and fetched my parcel...I know as one man the branch will not be at loss if I say I would never step my foot there but for the sake of being valued as a client I choose to.Yes it could have been close to home time for them but nothing explains such pathetic service and she sees nothing wrong with her behavior whatsoever... I've been to most truworths outlets but this I've never dealt with... We cannot ask them to smile and be all that, but the main reason we come or even reach out is to be assisted not attacked the same way I was attacked by this individual

Call center harassment
[protected] this number has been harassing my friend looking for me. They were very rude when I called them back to enquire about why they would be calling other people with regards to my account. The number I had put down was for when they were to deliver the account card to my friend. I find this to be a violation of my privacy.

On 15.11.19 I received a call from one of the Truworths agents that my Identity account was in arrears to which they provided a link that I pay the account and indeed I paid R200 equivalent to P150.63. However, I later received calls that my account was still in arrears which I explained I had paid and I was told the issue will be resolved, However, in January 2020 I still received calls that my account was in arrears and I asked for someone who could assist me and I spoke to (through email) Lesley Mashaba Credit Operations supervisor whom I even sent my bank statement showing that indeed a payment has been made but to this day I have not received assistance, instead I have received numerous calls from VeriCred that they have been contracted to just collect arrears. I believe this is unfair because I have made a payment yet my name is being dragged through the mud and even threats that I am being taken to ITS which will ruin me.
Desired outcome: My statement to be rectified with the amount and all the accrued interest to be removed and i clear the value which remained which was less than ZAR 50
